Legendary Christian metal pioneers STRYPER proudly share their new single “Here In Your Heart,” taken from their upcoming 18th studio album, ‘Throne Of Thorns,’ set for release on September 25th via Frontiers Music Srl. Decades into their journey, STRYPER continues to reaffirm their status as one of the most influential and enduring bands in classic metal, seamlessly blending their signature message with a sound that remains as powerful and relevant as ever. “Here In Your Heart” arrives alongside an official music video, available below.

On the new track, the band comments:

“This song is the perfect representation of who we are now as a band. We work hard to retain our classic sound, but also mix in some modern flairs here and there. The message is always the same: God is always there. No matter what. We may not be, but he is.”

‘Throne of Thorns’ showcases the band at the height of their creative powers, delivering a masterclass in songwriting and musicianship. The album is packed with grand, meticulously crafted arrangements, where thunderous rhythms, soaring guitar harmonies, and anthemic choruses come together in a style that is unmistakably STRYPER. Each track is infused with both intensity and melody, capturing the essence of classic metal while pushing their sound forward with renewed energy and purpose.

At the forefront stands the unmistakable voice of Michael Sweet, whose passionate, powerful, and instantly recognizable delivery continues to define the band’s identity. His vocal performance on ‘Throne of Thorns’ is nothing short of extraordinary, effortlessly moving between soaring highs and emotive depth, adding a timeless quality to every song.

Perry Richardson says:

“The best music doesn’t come from comfort. It comes from living, struggling, growing, and refusing to quit. I hope these songs find you exactly when you need them.”

With ‘Throne Of Thorns,’ STRYPER not only honors their legacy but expands upon it, offering an album that will resonate with longtime fans and newcomers alike. It’s a bold, inspired statement from a band that refuses to stand still—proof that true metal greatness only grows stronger with time.

Guitarist Oz Fox concludes:

“I’m really happy with the final outcome of this record and of the heart that went into it. Michael continues to pour everything he has into the music and the message; Robertbrings the power and energy that has always been the pulse of STRYPER; Perry’s musicianship, vocal talents, and dedication are second to none, and I’m grateful to be on this journey with all of them.”

Black Metal Outfit OVÁTE Release First Track ‘Kutsumus’ from Upcoming Album

Posted by tarjavirmakari on September 8, 2026
Posted in: Int. News, News. Tagged: OVÁTE. Leave a comment

After years of silence and dedication, Ováte return from the abyss with their new offering Rúin, forged by Aindiachaí (Gorgoroth) on guitars/bass and Brodd (ex-Taake) on drums. Eight years have passed since the band’s self-titled debut, and Rúin now reopens the wound; deeper, colder, and more deliberate. The new album will be out on 6th November via Soulseller Records.

In celebration, Ováte have released the first track, ‘Kutsumus’ which is now streaming via the links below.

Order Rúin here
World: https://soulsellerrecords.bandcamp.com
US: https://soulsellerrecords.aisamerch.com

Rúin is here. Not to be understood, but to be endured, an arcane, insidiously pernicious incursion beyond the veil.

A defining hallmark of Ováte’s sound remains intact: once again, every track is a collaboration with a different guest vocalist, turning the album into a shifting procession of voices and maledictions. Each performance adds a new layer to the record’s blackened craft, while the core duo keeps the blade steady. Sharp riffs, ritualistic momentum, and a trance-like pull that feels both predatory and strangely ceremonial.

On Rúin, Ováte list an exceptional cast from the Norwegian and wider extreme metal underground: Spellgoth (Horna), H’grimmr (Helheim), Thomas S. Øvstedal (Cor Scorpii), Sanrabb (Gehenna), Ødemark (The Last Eon / The Third Attempt) and Hoest (Taake). The result is a record that moves with relentless intent, yet rich in atmosphere, with each track carrying its own curse.

Tracklist:
1.Kutsumus (feat. Spellgoth)
2.Risset testament (feat. H’ grimmr)
3.Omveltning (feat. Thomas S. Øvstedal)
4.Livsblot (feat. Sanrabb / Ødemark)
5.El clam del foc (feat. Ødemark)
6.Slangen (feat. Hoest)

Ováte are:
Aindiachaí – guitars, bass
Brodd – drums

artwork by Paolo Conte and Bianca Gambrioli

Built upon Noveria’s unmistakable blend of prog power metal, modern heaviness, grandiose atmospheres, and breathtaking musicianship, “Becoming After” pushes the band into unexplored territory – darker, deeper, yet more alive than ever.

Massive choruses collide with crushing riffs, epic soundscapes meet technical intensity, while passionate vulnerability stands proudly beside pure aggression.

Every riff, every orchestration, every scream and melody carries the weight of real battles lived through the fire and survived with scars turned into strength.

With this new record, and a deeply renewed line-up, Noveria return heavier, more cinematic and emotional, and definitely fearless!

Noveria are:
Francesco Marino – vocals
Francesco Mattei – guitar
Paolo Campitelli – keyboards
Andrea Arcangeli – bass
Paolo Conte – drums

The upcoming debut album, „You’ve Been Served“ blends varied song styles, tied together by a nostalgic vibe and well-crafted production. The musical direction was clear: Rock ’n’ Roll! Anything between hard rock and metal was welcome as long as it came from the heart. With ’70s and ’80s hard rock and metal running through their veins, the chemistry felt natural.

ROCK JUSTICE is completed by bass player Nick McGrath, a close friend of Bas since the late ’90s and drummer Mischa Aussems. „You’ve Been Served“ was produced by Bas Maas, co-produced by Maggy Luyten, and mixed and mastered by Luca Princiotta (Doro, a.o.). KALT VINDUR Release Second Single & Video ‘Lost In Infinity’ from Upcoming Album

Posted in: Int. News, News. Tagged: KALT VINDUR. Leave a comment

Formed in 2015 in Dukla, southern Poland, KALT VINDUR have steadily built their reputation as one of the most distinctive acts emerging from the Polish black metal underground. Blending melody, atmosphere and raw intensity, the band developed its own artistic identity, often described as Subcarpathian Black Metal.

Following their debut album “Delusions” (2017) and the critically acclaimed “And Nothing Is Endless” (2020), KALT VINDUR entered a new chapter in 2023 by signing with the Greek label The Circle Music. The collaboration resulted in the release of “Magna Mater” (2024), widely regarded as a breakthrough album in the band’s career and a milestone in the evolution of their sound.

Now, KALT VINDUR return with their fourth full-length album, “The Void Of Time“, scheduled for release on November 27th, 2026 via The Circle Music.

KALT VINDUR presents the lyric video for the new single “Lost In Infinity“, which is now available for listening on popular streaming services (pre-save). The song premieres on the Atmospheric Black Metal Albums channel.

Building upon the foundations established by “Magna Mater“, the new album further refines the band’s musical vision. Rooted in black metal yet driven by strong songwriting, expressive melodies and emotional depth, “The Void Of Time” balances aggression with atmosphere while showcasing KALT VINDUR‘s most mature and cohesive material to date. The album embraces both darkness and melancholy without losing its sense of grandeur, creating a powerful and immersive listening experience.

“The Void Of Time” was produced by Artur Szydło and Krzysztof Kokosiński, who also handled mixing and mastering duties. Lyrics were written by Wojciech Kozub, while all music was composed by Artur Szydło. Drums and vocals were recorded by Grzegorz Gnat at Regnat Audio Studio in Cieklin. Additional synths on the outro of “Jesień” were performed by Krzysztof Kokosiński, while Artur Szydło contributed synths and bass guitar to “On The Way To…”. The album artwork was created by acclaimed artist Maciej Kamuda (Blut Aus Nord, Spaceslug, Sunnata), with layouts and additional artwork prepared by Paweł Kuranda (Zørormr, Doctor Visor). Band photography was done by Karol “Panku” Pankiewicz.

The album will be released digitally (pre-save), on jewel case CD, and on vinyl in two colour variants (transparent marbled blue & black and marbled pink & black). Pre-orders are available via The Circle Music webshop.

WORM ALTAR to Release Debut Album “Pillars of Eternal Dusk” on October 16th

Posted by tarjavirmakari on September 7, 2026
Posted in: Int. News, News. Tagged: WORM ALTAR. Leave a comment

Portland, Maine death metal outfit WORM ALTAR will release their debut full-length album, “Pillars of Eternal Dusk”, on October 16th, 2026 via Dawnbreed Records and Gurgling Gore on LP and CD formats, limited to 300 and 400 copies, respectively. The cassette edition will be released as a co-release between Gurgling Gore and Contemn Light, featuring two limited label-exclusive shell color variants.

The first single “Watchers of the Gate” is streaming HERE.

There is something genuinely repulsive about the sound of WORM ALTAR. Crude, abrasive and seemingly dragged out of some damp, lightless corner of the underground, “Pillars of Eternal Dusk” refuses to polish away the rough edges that give its death metal such an unsettling presence. Yet beneath the layer of grime, the album reveals itself to be far more carefully constructed than its initial assault might suggest.

Great riffs emerge from the murk, memorable enough to stick in the head long after the noise has subsided. Subtle melodic details and understated atmospheric touches lurk beneath the surface, adding depth without ever compromising the album’s oppressive character. The rawness is therefore not an end in itself: it is the most appropriate vehicle for music that aims to feel uneasy, crawling and fundamentally diseased.

Drawing inspiration from Gorement, Phrenelith, Disembowelment, Coffins, Mortiferum, Grave Upheaval and Black Sabbath, WORM ALTAR operate in that particularly fertile territory where death metal becomes less a display of brute force than an exercise in atmosphere, physicality and dread.

Tracklist:

01. Under the Shadow of Night…
02. Splaying the Offal
03. Watchers of the Gate
04. Virescent Fire
05. The Blind One
06. Dusk Eternal

Founded in late 2021 as the solo project of Scott M. (guitars, vocals), WORM ALTAR initially released the “Demo 2022” tape through Acid Redux Productions and the “Astral Scourge” EP in 2023 via Gurgling Gore and Total Death Over Mexico. After expanding into a full band, the lineup was completed by John S. on drums, Jon M. on bass and Rob C. on guitar. Jon M. is also a member of sludge/doom legends Come To Grief, while Rob C. handles guitar and vocals in progressive death metal outfit Shabti.

“Pillars of Eternal Dusk” was recorded largely live in just ten hours by Todd Hutchisen at Acadia Recording Company in the band’s hometown of Portland. Mixing was handled by Ethan Camp, whose credits include the debut albums of Mortiferum and Mephitic Corpse, while mastering was completed by Dan Lowndes at Resonance Sound Studio, known for work with Ancient Death, Blood Incantation, Cerebral Rot, Imprecation, Infester and Spectral Voice.

Following the release, WORM ALTAR will perform throughout New England and Canada, bringing the filth of “Pillars of Eternal Dusk” to the stage.

Line-up:

Scott M. – Guitars, Vocals
John S. – Drums
Jon M. – Bass
Rob C. – Guitar
