Last week, LOVE IS NOISE released their debut album TO LIVE IN A DIFFERENT WAY on heralded metal label, Century Media. Already receiving incredible reviews across the board with Metal Hammer claiming the album is “the first truly great debut of 2025” and scoring it 9/10 and Kerrang! also praising the record.
After an incredibly busy and successful 2024, this year is set to be another massive one for LOVE IS NOISE. February 14th sees the release of their highly anticipated debut album, TO LIVE IN A DIFFERENT WAY. With influence from Portishead, Radiohead, My Bloody Valentine, Oasis, Bowery Electric, Boards of Canada and Deftones, the band created a record that makes you feel every emotion possible.
Speaking of the album, Cam says: “TO LIVE IN A DIFFERENT WAY is the story of a kid from Bolton trying to understand the world he lives in. It’s 11 tracks full of love, heartache and dream-soaked melody, I believe we’ve created something special.” He continues, “What Tom and I have created is the debut album WE wanted to make without any compromise. No matter how well it does, TO LIVE IN A DIFFERENT WAY is an honest representation of what a band can do when they push the boundaries. LOVE IS NOISE doesn’t exist without the listener and this album brings a form of comfort to your busy everyday lives.”
With their new album, “Helldorado”, coming March 21st on Century Media Records, SPIRITWORLD reveal the album’s third single, OBLIVION. Featuring guest appearances by Zach Blair (Rise Against) and Sgah’gahsowáh (Blackbraid), OBLIVION is another anthemic slab of the Las Vegas band’s signature sound: thrashing hardcore, laced with Wild West stylings and a supernatural horror storyline.
SPIRITWORLD founder/frontman Stu Folsom gives this statement about the song:
“OBLIVION is one of my favorite songs off “Helldorado”! It was the song that took the most work to finish, but I am so glad that I kept pulling it back out of the dumpster to chip away at. It has a great mid-tempo headbanger groove that reminds me of growing up listening to early Obituary/Six Feet Underrecords full of Alan West riffage in my headphones, walking home from my graveyard shift selling booze and tampons at a 24/7 SAV-ON in East Las Vegas. We also got some help from our friends to polish it off. Zach Blair (Rise Against) tracked a blistering guitar solo and Sgah’gahsowáh (Blackbraid) put down vocals that really lift the song to a whole different level. It is an honor and very flattering to have people from bands I love, willing to collaborate and add their style to this project.”
The third album “Helldorado” cements the band’s brand, while making new moves that show the breadth of the potential in store. Across the album’s ten tracks, SPIRITWORLD indulges in metallic hardcore blitzes, world-weary country-punk stomps, and even a wistful, finger-picked lament.
Nashville heavy hitters ORTHODOX drop their chaotic new single COMMIT TO CONSEQUENCE featuring Comeback Kid vocalist Andrew Neufeld today via Century Media. Orthodox frontmanAdam Easterling tells, “COMMIT TO CONSEQUENCE is about taking accountability for the wrongs you’ve done, and dealing with the fallout; delivered through the extreme metaphor of finding out if your skull is bullet proof.”
The track comes just ahead of ORTHODOX’s two week tour supporting Comeback Kid who are celebrating two decades of their seminal hardcore album Wake the Dead. Easterling who befriended Neufeld on the road reveals “Comeback Kid was an act I kept up with when every new record dropped. They got me into hardcore when I was in high school and Andrew is one of the strongest and most versatile vocalists in hardcore of the last 20 years.” Their run kicks off in Winnipeg this Saturday and includes dates in Brooklyn, Philadelphia, Austin and more. For tickets and more info, find ORTHODOX on Instagram.
SWALLOW THE SUN have officially announced SHINING DARK DELUXE, the digital deluxe edition of their latest release, Shining. This special edition offers fans a deeper experience, capturing the essence of the band’s live energy while featuring alternative takes on select studio tracks.

Juha Raivio comments on the digital deluxe edition: ” Black album of death/doom finally got it’s black cover! When the music came for this new album I instantly felt that this music is shining bright through it’s thick darkness. I wasn’t sure if I should call the album Shining or Shining Dark, they both felt right. Well now we finally have both versions.”
Mikko Kotamäki adds: “Even though live shows are always challenging and less enjoyable for a Finnish introvert, I have to say that performing these new songs live is actually enjoyable on some level. See you on tour!”
