Swedish rockers WILDNESS are pleased to release their new studio album, “Avenger”, out now via Frontiers Music Srl. The title track and its accompanying visualizer are also available now.

Drummer Erik Modin says about the title track: “Avenger” is not only the title track of the album. It’s a homage to our heavy metal roots which has always been an important part in our music. This is a song that really stands out on this album, and we’re proud to present it to the world!”

The band express their enthusiasm for this release, by saying: “The wait is finally over, and we’re proud to present our fourth album “Avenger” for you guys! This is an album that summarizes everything that Wildness stands for, and we can’t wait for you guys to hear it!”

Wildness was formed in 2014 by drummer and songwriter Erik Modin, guitar players Adam Holmström and Pontus Sköld and lead singer Gabriel Lindmark. The band performed live and released a few demos during the first two years, before signing a record deal and releasing their first two albums on the German label AOR Heaven.

Bass player Marcus Sjösund stepped in as a full member of the band during the recording of their debut album, which was released in late 2017 and immediately became a great international success among fans of melodic hard rock. However, disagreements regarding musical directions led lead singer Gabriel Lindmark to leave Wildness in the fall of 2019.

The band recruited lead singer Erik Forsberg (ex-Blazon Stone) as their new frontman and lead singer in the spring of 2020. Their follow-up to the debut album was named “Ultimate Demise” (released in late 2020), and became an ever greater success for the band, thanks to Erik Forsberg’s powerful set of pipes and the hit-single “Cold Words”.

Wildness spent the main part of 2021 writing and planning the follow-up to “Ultimate Demise”, and after the band signed a multi-album deal with Frontiers in October 2021, they finally released their third album, titled “Resurrection”, which contains eleven melodic masterpieces with one foot in the 80’s and the other one in the present.

Followed by intense writing and recording sessions, Wildness finally return with their new album “Avenger”, a record that musically defines the band better than ever. With songs like “Wings Of Fire”, “Avenger” and “Stand Your Ground”, the band pays tribute to classic hard rock pioneers like DIO, Accept and Yngwie Malmsteen. Songs like “Crucified”, “Wasted Time”, “Walk Through The Fire” and “Broken Heart” represent the classic melodic arena anthems that have always been the key for Wildness.

The band have performed at a number of different festivals internationally and shared stages with well-known acts such as Dokken, H.E.A.T, Dee Snider, Crashdïet, Dragonforce, Arch Enemy, Warrant, Vixen and others, and also had the honor to open for Pretty Maids, among others.

Legendary German hard rockers BONFIRE are thrilled to release of their highly anticipated new studio album, “Higher Ground”, out now via Frontiers Music Srl. The new single, the title track of the record, is also available now.

Buy/Listen to “Higher Ground” HERE

Guitarist Hans Ziller describes the new single, by saying: “Higher Ground” is the title track from the new album. It features crunchy guitar riffs with a pulsing rhythm in classic Bonfire powerhouse style. All fans of real melodic anthems will love this track!”

Ziller also expresses his enthusiasm for the new album:
“The new Bonfire album is a masterpiece. Bonfire has reinvented themselves with “Higher Ground”, never neglecting their virtues – fat hard guitars, incredible solos, great choir passages and stirring vocals. The band plays as one and is at its best.”

Bonfire are one of the most seminal German hard rock bands of the past fifty years. Originally founded as Cacumen in 1972 by guitarist Hans Ziller in Ingolstadt, Germany, the group initially played local venues, steadily building a fan base before releasing their first album under the name Cacumen.

In 1986, the band rebranded as Bonfire, and their debut album as Bonfire, “Don’t Touch the Light”, marked their international breakthrough. They followed it up with “Fireworks” in 1987, which further cemented their status in the rock and metal scene. Despite their success, Bonfire experienced several lineup changes, including the departure of key members. However, Ziller, the band’s driving force, kept Bonfire alive, continuously adapting to the challenges faced by the group.

In the 1990s, Bonfire briefly disbanded but returned in 1996, with Ziller reclaiming the rights to the band’s name. Since then, Bonfire has released numerous albums and maintained a strong presence on the international rock scene. Bonfire has remained a resilient force in hard rock, continuing to tour and release new material well into the 21st century.

During their most successful phase with album classics such as “Don’t Touch The Light” (1986), “Fireworks”(1987) and “Point Blank” (1989), the group – alongside the Scorpions and Accept – counted among the three most popular German acts on a global basis, including triumphal accomplishments throughout Europe and overseas, celebrated tours alongside Judas Priest and ZZ Top, gold records, high chart positions, TV appearances and more than 35 million YouTube views of their hit “You Make Me Feel” alone.

The band’s trademarks continue to be and always have been deeply melodic hard rock songs, driven by captivating guitar parts, grooving rhythms and haunting vocal melodies. To this day, band founder/guitarist Hans Ziller and his exceptional group regularly awe their fans with new releases and impressive shows.

“Higher Ground” is a new life chapter for Bonfire and the very first release under the wings of Frontiers Records.

“Higher Ground” Tracklist:

1.    Nostradamus
2.    I Will Rise
3.    Higher Ground
4.    I Died Tonight
5.    Lost All Control
6.    When Love Comes Down
7.    Fallin`
8.    Come Hell Or High Water
9.    Jealousy
10.    Spinnin’ In The Black
11.    Rock’n’Roll Survivor (2024 Version)

Vocalist Roberto Tiranti describes the new track, by saying: “The song tells how in these times, it is increasingly difficult for us to understand which and where is the right part of this world in which to be and live in peace, while everything evolves in a rather illogical and ferocious way.”

The band express their enthusiasm about the new album:
“In the Vanishing Echoes of Goodbye is our latest work. As the years go by, we feel increasingly free from formulas and stylistic boundaries that sometimes trap a band within a specific musical genre. With this album, we set out to achieve total freedom, allowing each of us to fully express ourselves.”

“Perhaps for this reason, combined with the reality of living in increasingly dark times, this work has become our heaviest, fastest, and angriest album to date, while still making it to keep our typical melodic/melancholic touch. We are very proud of it, and today, that’s what Labyrinth are”, they continue.

“In The Vanishing Echoes Of Goodbye” Tracklist:

1.    Welcome Twilight
2.    Accept The Changes
3.    Out Of Place
4.    At The Rainbow’s End

Labyrinth are considered as one of the leaders of the entire New Wave Of Italian Power Metal. Formed in the early 90’s, with the release of their 1998’s album “Return To Heaven Denied”, considered a milestone for the genre, they caught the attention of the entire European scene, gaining success and building their important career made of great albums and tours.
Together with acts like Rhapsody Of Fire, Lacuna Coil, they helped the entire Italian heavy metal scene to reach the next level globally.

Over the years the band went through difficult times and several lineup changes, taking a break from 2010 to 2017 and, in the spring of 2016, the band’s founding members Andrea Cantarelli and Olaf Thorsen received a call from Frontiers, asking them to discuss with singer Roberto Tiranti the possibility of a comeback for the band.

Now with “In The Vanishing Echoes Of Goodbye”, the 3rd album for Frontiers Records, once again they delivered the goods, turning their music heavier than in the past but keeping the speedy power metal attitude with unforgettable hooks, epic prog infused metal songs, and some great melodic numbers, resulting in a record that is going to become another milestone for the Italian metal masters!

Starting with the opener “Welcome Twilight”, with its Epic Latin choruses, through songs like “Out Of Place”, “The Right Side Of This World”, you can find the band’s typical band’s trademark, with a stellar performance and a powerful production!

Alongside the original members Roberto Tiranti (vocals), Olaf Thorsen (guitars) and Andrea Cantarelli (guitars), the line-up is completed by Oleg Smirnoff (keys), Nik Mazzucconi (bass) and Mattia Peruzzi (drums).

SWIM THE CURRENT Release New Single ‘Right Your Wrong’

The dynamic rock band Swim the Current is thrilled to announce the release of their latest single, “Right Your Wrong”, via TLG|ZOID, distributed by Virgin Music Group. The powerful new track was co-produced by George Pond, Sahaj Ticotin and David Caplinger.

STREAM “Right Your Wrong” at https://ffm.to/stc-rightyourwrong

Bringing together an all-star lineup of rock talents, including vocalist Marcos Leal (formerly of Ill Niño), bassist George Pond (Disciples of Verity), guitarist Greg Antine, drummer Chris Moore (George Lynch, Ultraphonix, Rock of Ages), and lead guitarist Joe Gareri, “Right Your Wrong” takes the band’s sound to new heights.

Having played in numerous bands throughout the years, Guitarist Greg Antine came to a point in his career where he wanted to branch out and write songs that had more depth and were inspired by his personal life experiences. Having worked with Bassist George Pond for several years in previous projects including, Disciples Of Verity, Greg expressed his concept for Swim The Current to George in hopes of collaborating with him on this new music venture. The two began to flesh out ideas in George’s home studio and realized quickly that they were on to something special, but still needed something more to see their ideas through to complete their concepts. Greg was introduced to Joe Gareri, Guitar/Keyboards, by George during the Disciples Of Verity debut album recording sessions which Joe is also featured on as a guest artist. The three of them immediately hit it off and worked extremely well together. Greg and George realized that Joe’s cinematic writing style would be a perfect match for their concepts and Joe was then brought in as a full time member. After two songs were completed and demo’d in George’s studio utilizing programmed drums, it was suggested by their friend Allyson Song River Jaynes, that they reach out to her friend, drummer Chris Moore of Ultraphonix, Rock Of Ages, to see if he would be interested in working with the project. Upon hearing the strength of songwriting and musicianship of the band, Chris was all in and signed on as the fourth full time member of STC and now the band, from an instrument’s perspective, was complete.

The final missing piece for STC was a lead vocalist who could capture the sound they envisioned for their music. After working in the studio with a few different vocalists, George ultimately reached out to his friend Marcos Leal, of legendary international touring band Ill Nino. Marcos loved the music of STC as well as having the freedom and creativity of writing lyrics for the project. After recording their first song together with Marcos, “We Are Not The Same”, everyone new that this lineup was something special and Swim The Current was now complete! The release of “We Are Not The Same” took off instantly, and amassed thousands of streams, YouTube views and followers through a total organic DIY social media campaign.

Swim The Current’s sound is influenced and reminiscent of many of their favorite artists including, Deftones, Faith No More, Sevendust, POD, and Stabbing Westward. They continue to write new music and look forward to sharing their future releases with the world!

TYRMFAR returns to shake the metal world with their powerful new single, “The Hubris of Humanity, Pt.1,” the fourth track from their highly anticipated EP, Symbiosis, due for release on March 28th, 2025, via Wormholedeath.

“The Hubris of Humanity, Pt.1” is a dark, immersive journey that explores the disastrous consequences of human pride. Tyrmfar confronts listeners with intense lyrics and a merciless soundscape that depict humanity’s drive for power and progress at the expense of the planet. With haunting imagery of poisoned rivers and deforested lands, the song warns of an impending “sixth extinction” that threatens to be humanity’s undoing—a chilling reminder that our survival hinges on heeding the lessons we’ve long ignored.

The single is now available on all major digital platforms.

About the EP: Symbiosis

With Symbiosis, Tyrmfar pushes the boundaries of their sound, forging an evolution in their blackened death metal assault. The EP explores the uneasy relationship between humanity and nature, channeling the growing tension of ecological and social crises into a brutal yet thought-provoking musical experience.

Rooted in the Scandinavian black and death metal influences of the late ’90s and early 2000s, Symbiosis also embraces modern elements that reflect the band’s diverse musical inspirations. This creative process, enriched by each member’s distinct style, weaves together a tapestry of searing intensity and emotional depth.
