BEYOND UNBROKEN Unleash New Album “Destruction”, Out Now

Beyond Unbroken have announced their sophomore album Destruction is out now from FiXT.

Purchase/Stream: https://link.fixtmusic.com/Destruction

Beyond Unbroken’s latest effort is poised to be their most diverse and ambitious work yet, featuring a dynamic mix of rock, metal, alternative, and pop punk influences and features a contribution from enigmatic rap vocalist Whitney Peyton. The album’s lead-up has been marked by a string of powerful singles, each showcasing the band’s ability to traverse and innovate across multiple genres. Destruction takes inspiration from everything from the TV show YOU, horror movies, life experiences, old-school digital Gameboy lead sounds inspired by video games like Pokémon and Donkey Kong, incorporating real finger snaps, a nod to Michael Jackson’s iconic use of the technique in “Oceans” to Hans Zimmer’s work on Interstellar for “Lost and Broken.”

As Destruction looms on the horizon, Beyond Unbroken continues to explore the human experience through their unique blend of genres. “Oceans” is a unique departure from their typical heavy sound, fusing elements of pop with alternative rock. “The Madness” a brutal hard rock deep dive into the dark recesses of our own mind and the demons we find there. “Lost and Broken” melds the intense energy of metalcore with the raw power of hard rock, infusing cyberpunk with doom metal elements. Switching gears and returning to their pop-punk roots, Beyond Unbroken’s “My Life” is a track brimming with hope and renewal. “Halo” features the rap vocal talents of Whitney Peyton, covering the narrative of a toxic love-hate relationship and featuring rap and trap elements alongside a soulful pop chorus.

Releasing with the album is the title track “Destruction.” Featuring a dark and intense music video the single is a somber illustration of the bands’ thoughts on artificial intelligence.  Best described in the band’s own words: “For ‘Destruction,’ my brother Monte Money showed me a vocal melody that sparked a flood of ideas,” explains Michael Money. “Inspired, I worked on it late into the night, incorporating synthesizers and creating a piano intro. The song evolved into a commentary on Artificial Intelligence, exploring the fears and potential consequences of A.I. advancements. The post-chorus features a whispered “Destruction,” adding to the eerie vibe. The lyrics in the breakdown serve as a warning about humanity’s future. This powerful theme led us to name both the song and the album “Destruction.”

As Beyond Unbroken continues to explore the human experience and push the boundaries of metal and rock, Destruction is shaping up to be an album that showcases their extreme versatility in production whether it be a chilled-out single or over top brutality. From brutal metal and rock to alternative and pop, this album promises to be a thrilling ride for fans and newcomers alike. This is Beyond Unbroken at their most intense and versatile yet.

In a world of boundaries Beyond Unbroken refuses to be defined by one genre. Founded by former Escape The Fate members, brothers Monte and Michael Money, the band habitually crosses the lines, mixing genres the way an artist mixes paint with results that often defy expectation.

They released their first single “Under Your Skin” in 2015 and debuted their first independent EP Don’t Wake The Dead in 2017 with producer Matt Good of From First To Last. The EP was well received with the animated video “Overdose” earning millions of views upon release. Their first debut album, Running Out of Time, followed in 2020 with singles earning millions of streams and premiering on Alt Press.

On April 29, 2020, the band covered Lil Peep and Twenty One Pilots mashup, “Falling Down + Heathens” and it remains the band’s most streamed track to this day. In 2021 the band released a one-off single “With Or Without Me” on the FiXT Radium Compilation which eventually led to the band signing with the label in 2023. The Band released their sophomore album Destruction on November 15th, 2024.

Prepare to be set ablaze as Cape Town’s powerhouse quartet, We Kill Cowboys, unleashes their fiery new single, Burn The Witch, from their upcoming album Back From The Dead, due for release in early 2025 via Mongrel Records. Known for their intoxicating fusion of psychedelic rock, punk rock, grunge, and stoner blues, We Kill Cowboys bring both grit and finesse to their unique sound, making waves on the South African rock scene and beyond.

Formed by tattoo artist and singer/guitarist Alex Muller, We Kill Cowboys thrives on raw, high-energy storytelling that’s as powerful as it is profound. Muller’s raw vocals lend a magnetic force to the band’s unapologetic exploration of anti-establishment themes, while their musicality—anchored by Mornay’s searing guitar riffs, Andrew’s thunderous drums, and Miggs’ deep, fuzz-laden bass grooves—cements their signature edge. The result is a gripping experience that’s both intense and reflective, inviting listeners into a world where passion meets rebellion.

Buy and stream the single at https://orcd.co/burn-the-witch

Their latest single, Burn The Witch is an explosive anthem inspired by the resilience of women throughout history. “The challenges women have faced since the beginning of time, being victimized, ostracized, and literally burnt alive… the song isn’t only expressing these challenges from a societal or physical perspective, but also an emotional, personal, and spiritual perspective,” shares frontwoman Alex Muller. “It’s about embracing the power within, finding acceptance in one’s femininity, trusting one’s intuition, and breaking generational cycles. Letting out the rage.”

“Burn The Witch” is more than a song; it’s a rallying cry—a powerful invocation to rise above oppression and reclaim one’s inner strength. With every track, We Kill Cowboys push boundaries, blending intensity with introspection, leaving fans both exhilarated and reflective.

ACID MAGUS Drop Explosive New Single ‘Emperor’ from Upcoming Album

Emerging from the shadows of Pretoria’s rock scene, Acid Magus unleash Emperor, the fiery second single from their upcoming album. Known for their intoxicating blend of doom, stoner, punk, and psych rock, Acid Magus has crafted a track that is both an intense journey into sound and a searing exploration of power’s dark allure.

In a swirl of distorted guitars, heavy riffs, and hypnotic rhythms, Emperor introduces the album’s central antagonist—a power-hungry overlord who thrives on destruction. As a metaphor for colonialism and the erasure of culture, the Emperor embodies raw, destructive ambition. The track invites listeners to confront the brutality of conquest, with haunting lyrics that echo the relentless drive for control. Acid Magus’s characteristic musical grit and psychedelic edge deliver a visceral experience, drawing inspiration from the likes of Mastodon, Kylesa, and Baroness, all while infusing their signature South African flair.

Buy and stream the single at https://orcd.co/_emperor

Emperor is also the shortest track on the upcoming album, offering a potent glimpse into the broader narrative Acid Magus has woven. With epic vocal cries and spine-chilling drops into sonic oblivion, the song encapsulates the wild thoughts of the loathsome Emperor himself, pulling listeners deeper into his tortured psyche. Acid Magus’s commitment to a raw, DIY approach comes through in every heavy beat and spiraling riff, creating a sound that’s both timeless and immediately captivating.

“We wanted to capture the Emperor’s madness and the absolute corruption of power,” the band shares. “This song channels the darkness in humanity that few dare to confront. Psychosis never sounded this good.”

Fans of Zeppelin, Sabbath, and the heavy psychedelia of modern bands like Slift will recognize Acid Magus’s reverence for rock’s legends, while newcomers to the genre will find themselves immersed in a hypnotic mix of styles, from 60s psych to alt-rock intensity.

Touring Europe this past summer in support of their latest and fourth record “The Loss of Beauty” (Spikerot Records), Italian melodic death-doom force Shores of Null performed at this year’s Hellfest Open Air (Temple Stage) in Clisson, France.

Delivering a powerful performance that encapsulates their signature blend of heavy, melodic gothic doom. This live set showcases tracks from their rich discography, including highlights from their latest album. As they perform under the iconic lights of Hellfest, the band’s dynamic soundscapes and emotional depth resonate through the crowd, creating an immersive experience for all in attendance. This performance at one of Europe’s premier metal festivals marks a significant moment for Shores Of Null, further solidifying their place in the metal genre.

Capturing that full set on live video, Shores of Null is ready to unveil it for fans by teaming up with ThunderFlix, the world’s premier on-demand video streaming service dedicated exclusively to heavy metal music.

Vocalist Davide Straccione adds:

“Hellfest was the culmination of an intense promotional cycle during which we had the privilege of taking ‘The Loss Of Beauty’ far and wide. Stepping onto that stage was an incredibly powerful experience, rewarding us for years of relentless hard work, dedication, and a deep love for what we do. We felt the energy of the crowd resonating with us, and in that moment, it truly felt like we were exactly where we were meant to be. On a personal level, it was a dream come true, and I believe I can speak for the entire band when I say it was the highlight of our career so far.”

“The Loss of Beauty” is Shores Of Null’s fourth album and follows the acclaimed “Beyond The Shores (On Death And Dying)”, unanimously considered by fans and critics as one of the Doom Metal gems of recent years. Both albums were recorded between 2019 and early 2020, and although “The Loss of Beauty” was initially conceived as the band’s third album, ‘Beyond The Shores’ took its place as it better reflected the doom and gloom sentiment of the ‘annus horribilis’ 2020.

Across 11 tracks (plus two bonus tracks), Shores Of Null once again submerges listeners with tempestuous and turbulent riffs. The band continues to hone its sound and take its melancholic dark metal to new heights by mastering an assorted palette of genres with inbred poignancy. The lyrics celebrate beauty in imperfection and transience and are meant to be an invitation to seek beauty in little things, especially those unexpected and ephemeral.

“Those who follow Shores Of Null from the very beginning know that our influences touch many genres, and I think those who loved ‘Quiescence’ and ‘Black Drapes For Tomorrow’ won’t be disappointed. I consider ‘The Loss Of Beauty’ to be the natural evolution of those records, while ‘Beyond The Shores (On Death And Dying)’ represents a slight detour from the main road, a quite successful experiment in which we gave vent to our most dark and dramatic side, focusing exclusively on gothic/death/doom metal, almost funereal at times. Those who have known us with ‘Beyond The Shores’ might find ‘The Loss Of Beauty’ a bit different, faster in tempos but still very gloomy and melancholic, so I’m pretty confident the album will be well received by fans in general.” adds vocalist Davide Straccione.

Dark and heavy, tinged with feelings of despair, “The Loss Of Beauty” was released on March 24th, 2023, and recommended for fans of Swallow The Sun, Borknagar, and Paradise Lost.
