Memphis’ alternative metal act SALIVA is back with a new powerful single, entitled “Time Bomb”! The song, released today November 1st via Judge & Jury Records, features the YouTube star Peyton Parrish.
Saliva: “Time Bomb is about those experiences we all have in life where it feels like it’s you against the world. There’s always gonna be haters and for me it’s good to let it out and write how I’m feeling. Time Bomb is about the determination and resilience it takes to persevere and overcome those moments. People are always gonna try and test you in life, but you have to take it and use it to stay focused and be in control of your destiny!“
Peyton Parrish: “Time Bomb is perfect for those high-pressure, adrenaline-inducing events when you need that extra push to overcome adversity. When it feels like it’s you against the world, this is your walk out song to the fight. This is your song for when the clock is ticking and the pressure’s on.“

Since their formation in 2008, Norwegian punk/rock outfit Blood Command have been redefining boundaries within the alternative music scene. Known for their energetic blend of punk, hardcore, and melodic rock—self-described as “death pop”—Blood Command have captivated audiences with their fusion of sharp aggression, infectious hooks, and pop sensibilities.
Today, the band have announced their signing with Arising Empire, and release their storming new single ‘We Could Be Heaven’. Their latest single delivers a dark, pop-punk punch, exploring the cost of following one’s heart—even to one’s demise. As the first taste of their upcoming 2025 album, this track may be Blood Command‘s catchiest, most pop-forward release yet, setting the stage for an album that promises to elevate their revolutionary sound to new heights.
Led by guitarist and principal songwriter Yngve Andersen, the Bergen-based band have drawn widespread acclaim for their innovative sound and electrifying live performances.
The 2020 addition of fierce vocalist Nikki Brumen has amplified the band’s intensity, enhancing their powerful messages of rebellion, individualism, and empowerment. Blood Command’s albums, including Funeral Beach (2012) and Praise Armageddonism (2020), illustrate their ability to evolve while remaining rooted in their punk ethos. With a loyal fanbase across Europe and an unwavering touring schedule, Blood Command continue to push the limits of punk and hardcore.
Finnish hard rock band Rimbacher releases their debut album “High Hopes On The Rocks” on November 1st via Inverse Records. The album presents classic AOR vibes, 80’s stadion rock sized attitude and also some hard straighforward rock and roll. The skillful band seasons their music with spices like powerful vocal harmonies, catchy melodies and classical art of guitar heroism.
“High Hopes On The Rocks is a very traditional classic rock album including tight brawl and lovesongs. The atmosphere revolves around big riffs and guitar heroism combined with very melodic and harmonic vocals. The lyrical themes are either timeless stories about the struggles of a sensitive narrator as well as having fun. The soundscape itself has very high energy and spirit throughout the whole album and the songs are delightfully diverse compared to each other. However the the core essence stays solid and the band’s enthusiasm is well heard.”
Guitar player Osku ”Sticky” Kilpi continues:
”This album is what we think rock ’n’ roll is all about: plain, simple and straightforward hard rock with all the ups and downs of a typical rock album. No politics, no exceptions, no bulls**t.”
Italian stoner rock trio VEUVE is gearing up to drop their highly anticipated new album, “Pole”, on November 15th via Go Down Records. This latest sonic excursion from the band promises to be their most ambitious and immersive work yet, blending heavy, fuzzed-out riffs with psychedelic textures and a touch of progressive experimentation.
To whet your appetite, VEUVE has released a captivating music video for the album’s lead single, “The Thaw”. The visuals perfectly capture the band’s sonic aesthetic, offering a mesmerizing journey through trippy landscapes and heavy grooves.
“The Thaw encapsulates the meanings, images, and themes of the album “Pole”, making it the record’s title track, although not explicitly stated in its name” the band comments. “This story follows a journey across the four elements to the North, where humanity embarks on a mission to free ancient creatures imprisoned in ice since the dawn of time. These beings are the guardians of human emotions, and their release will bring a new light to the world.“
“Pole” will be out on November 15 via Go Down Records and is available for pre-order here: Pysical / Digital

Italian progressive post-rockers STRANIA released their stunning debut album “Acceptance” on October 18th via Diotima Records!
Today, the band reveals the track-by-track of their first opus:
“The Tide’s Echo” is based on Giacomo Leopardi’s conception of Nature, whose words in the song express her extraneousness towards human beliefs and comprehension.
“It’s meant to be” depicts Mother Nature severing ties with humanity as an inescapable and logical consequence to it’s repeted mistakes and negligence.
“Metempsychosis” is about the last moments of an old man’s life, who ventures into the woods to reconcile with nature and find refuge for his soul, which will be reincarnated in new trees.
“Nothing remains” describes the disasters caused by the indomable forces of nature, that men percieve as a punishment, asking forgiveness for their errors.
“Lost at sea” tells the story of a shipwreck survivor that has to face the harshnesses of nature surrounding her, just to fall victim of its magnetic beauty and embracing death as a relieving departure from a painful mortal existence.
Album artwork was created by Alessandro Beccari.
The band on “Acceptance”: “Our first album, “Acceptance”, is a collection of songs composed between spring 2021 and early 2023 and revolves around the personification of nature and the conflictual relationship between mankind and nature herself, whose role constantly shifts from being a saviour and merciful mother to that of a cruel and destructive entity in the eyes of man.
We recorded the instrumental parts of the album at “La Fucina Studio” between April and May of 2023. Not having an official singer during that period, the vocals were recorded between June and July of the same year by four local singers, each singing on one of the songs, thus giving every piece a certain feel thanks to their different styles and musical backgrounds. All the tracks were mixed and mastered at the same studio by the end of the summer. The hard work, patience and sacrifice that went into the composition (often troubled and complex) and the recording of this album are rewarded by our trust and love toward music as a whole, and we hope that “Acceptance” and our future works can reach and inspire as many people as possible.
“Acceptance” is taking inspiration from Giacomo Leopardi’s work, we’ve crafted songs that tell stories and describe scenarios which evoke a sense of desperation and beauty, concepts that coexist in the figure of Mother Nature, who is nothing short of a God who dominates man’s life and fate: in the end, the only thing we can do is not fight or fear her, but accept our part as pawns in nature’s bigger and mysterious picture. In order to convey these sensations through our music, we searched for sounds that were both refined and impactful, never neglecting the melodic and atmospheric side, spacing from powerful and epic choruses to more soft and airy verses or instrumental sections, always trying to match a specific mood or image, reinforcing the lyrics. Also, since we give great relevance to the instrumental aspect, we used different time signatures and dynamic ranges to add variety and keep things engaging.”

More information:
STRANIA is an Italian progressive post-rock band, formed in the province of Florence by Andrea Borgioli, Mattia Nicolini and Giacomo Bracci in the summer of 2019. The band reached its current four-piece lineup in late summer 2022.
The members of the band have a very heterogeneous musical culture, but the meeting point between them is highlighted in the post-rock genre, which leaves a lot of expressive and compositional freedom to the group. In fact, all the songs are composed in a collective creative process in the rehearsal room, which can sometimes even last whole day sessions, taking care of the smallest detail.
