HARSH are the new rising stars within the hard rock scene. The band from Paris revives their traditional sound with a modern twist and catchy melodies. Their songs and live shows strike with theatricality, paired with a rare sensitivity that forges a strong bond with the audience. Born from a deep friendship, the band succeeds in the bold challenge of combining musical power with emotional sincerity.

Following the success of their debut album “Out Of Control” (2022), and more than 300 shows played, the French band is ready to release their second, new album called “Feels”, on July 3rd, 2026 through Fireflash Records (WOLF, FURIES, ROCK JUSTICE a.o.) and will carry their rock into every heart they encounter. “We’re thrilled to join forces with Fireflash Records to make Harsh’s next chapter more exciting than ever“, comments the band. “We had a lot of things to put into music, a lot of stories and feelings. For this album we wanted to express and share our feelings with the audience. When it came down to choosing a name for the album, “Feels” felt natural.”

The album was mixed and mastered by Hannes Braun (KISSIN‘ DYNAMITE a.o.).

The energetic “Fuel To The Fire“ and the cover of the 80s classic “Maniac“ are already out and a new single and video will be released on April 3rd, along with the album pre-sale. Stay tuned!

NUKEM Launch Vicious New Single ‘Into the Kill Zone’, Feat. Rob Cavestany

Posted by tarjavirmakari on March 20, 2026

California has always been fertile ground for thrash metal, leading the charge with some of the genre’s most legendary acts. San Diego’s NUKEM follows in the footsteps of thrash metal’s founding fathers, producing the kind of time-tested, neck-breaking thrash that invokes deep nostalgia while still sounding fresh and modern.

The thrashers are now launching the latest aural assault from the offering, “Into the Kill Zone,” which features a guest solo by DEATH ANGEL shredder Rob Cavestany. The song can be found along with a lyric video at THIS LOCATION.

Nukem guitarist Steve Brogden comments, “This was one of the earlier songs we had written for this album and it came together rather fast and easy. My original working title for it was ‘DA01’ because I felt it had some heavy influence from our brothers in Death Angel, so it only felt fitting to ask Rob Cavestany to lay down a guest solo! Rob came out swinging and he knocked it out of the park!

“The song’s actual topic came a book of the same name written by a retired police officer. He interviewed other officers on the weight of drawing their weapon in the line of duty and having to make split second decisions that could mean life or death to the officer or the ones they are sworn to protect. A pretty heavy topic that I don’t feel is touched on very often.”

The track is taken from the band’s forthcoming sophomore full-length, ‘The Grave Remains,’ which is due on April 10, 2026 via Redefining Darkness. Pre-orders are now live in the U.S. HERE and the rest of the world HERE.

The artwork for ‘The Grave Remains’ was created by Megan Mushi.

Nukem is a Thrash metal force from San Diego, California, that delivers an honest, old school thrash attack. Formed in 2012, Nukem released their 2016 debut album “The Unholy Trinity,’ which was mixed & mastered by Ulrich Wild (Pantera, Static X, Dethklok, White Zombie) and was released via Sleaszy Rider Records out of Greece.

Nukem had entered the studio in 2024 once again with Ulrich Wild to work on our second album. Ten songs of pure molten metal! Some songs are full on unstoppable Bay Area style Thrash metal violence while others are more of a mid tempo power groove. Melodic rockers Frontline share today the new single, “Two Tickets To The Afterglow”, taken from their new studio album, “Rebirth”, set for release on May 15, 2026, via Frontiers Music Srl.

The official video for the track is also available below.

The band commented: “With ‘Two Tickets To The Afterglow’ we wanted a song that feels fearless and uplifting. It’s about moving forward, leaving yesterday behind and turning your scars into something powerful. At the same time, it shows where Frontline stands today, honoring our melodic rock roots while pushing the sound into a bold new era”.

Pre-Order “Rebirth” HERE

With “Rebirth”, German melodic rock pioneers Frontline return with a powerful and emotional statement, opening a new chapter in a career that has helped define European AOR since the late 1980s.

The band commented on the record, by saying: “Rebirth” truly reflects what this album stands for. After more than 20 years of silence, it’s our resurrection as a band. We wanted to honor our legacy and, most importantly, the fans who kept Frontline alive all these years, while bringing our signature melodies, hooks, and emotions into the present. This album opens a new chapter without forgetting where we come from”.

Founded in Nuremberg in 1989, Frontline quickly established themselves as one of the genre’s leading acts, built around the unmistakable voice of Stephan Kämmerer and a songwriting approach rooted in strong melodies, big hooks and album-oriented vision.

Over the years, Frontline released a string of acclaimed albums including the genre-defining debut “The State Of Rock” (1994), followed by “Two Faced”, “Heroes”, “Right Attitude”, “Against The World”, “The Seventh Sign”, and “Circles”, earning an international reputation as one of Germany’s most respected AOR exports. Their sound blends soaring vocals, melodic guitar work and polished production, inspired by the golden era of late ’80s and early ’90s hard rock, with a distinct European character.

Following the passing of guitarist and songwriter Robby Böbel in 2022, “Rebirth” represents both a tribute to the band’s legacy and a step forward into new creative territory. The album features the original singer Stephan Kämmerer alongside new guitarist and producer Christian Mühlroth, whose fresh energy and musical vision play a key role in shaping this new era of Frontline.

Comprised of 14 brand new AOR tracks, “Rebirth” delivers a direct, no frills melodic rock approach, driven by anthemic, uplifting and sparkling choruses, emotional performances and confident songwriting. The singles “Two Tickets To The Afterglow”, “Burning Horizon” and “After You’re Gone” highlight the band’s ability to balance classic AOR values with renewed intensity and focus.

“Rebirth” is more than a comeback – it is a reaffirmation of Frontline’s identity and a celebration of melody, emotion and the timeless spirit of AOR, reborn for today and ready for the future.

HOC EST BELLUM Sign with Time To Kill Records for Release of Debut Full-Length Album

Posted by tarjavirmakari on March 20, 2026
Posted in: Int. News, News. Tagged: HOC EST BELLUM. Leave a comment

Finland’s bestial black-death metal trio HOC EST BELLUM have signed with Time To Kill Records for the release of their debut full-length album. Conceived as an act of ruthless sonic terrorism, the record stands as a militant manifestation of black-death metal, unleashing its assault like a formation of dive bombers tearing through the sky and leaving devastation in their wake.

The album embraces a warm, organic sound that evokes tangible and hostile landscapes, rejecting the sterile and harmless production approaches that characterize much of today’s metal. Instead, it embodies a spirit of pure extremism and uncompromising violence, channeling raw intensity into a work that feels immediate, physical and destructive.

Further details about the album and its first single will be revealed in the coming weeks.

Burning with Luciferian hunger and baptized in nuclear horror, HOC EST BELLUM rose from the ashes in 2022. Based between Helsinki and Turku, the power trio unleashes a savage blend of grinding and bestial black/death chaos, channeling a sound that is both primitive and devastatingly direct. Their music thrives on raw aggression and ritualistic intensity, forged in an atmosphere of apocalyptic dread, satanic hostility and visions of mankind’s imminent extinction.

The band’s first release, the aptly titled “Demo 2023”, introduced this extermination squad to the underground with a display of feral brutality and uncompromising violence. The recording quickly established HOC EST BELLUM as a force devoted to the most extreme and unrelenting expressions of black/death metal, delivering warlike hymns steeped in filth, blasphemy and destructive fervor.

The band’s debut full-length will be released by Time To Kill Records in 2026. The album continues on the path of the bestial onslaught paved on the aforementioned demo, while adding to the relentless attack elements of dark atmospheric passages seeping with malevolent and poisonous aura.

Antichrist elitists rise. This is black metal terror.

Line-up:

Devouring Doommouth of Lunar Extinction and Nuclear Propaganda – Black vomit prophecies of homo sapiennihilation & aural low frequency desecration
Rituäl Vömitist – Bonegrinding hellsaw sodomy
R. Charon – Morningstars of putrefaction & doom ritual chants

ERDVE Release New Single + Video ‘Nyra’ from Upcoming Album

Lithuanian experimental metal band ERDVE reveal “Nyra”, the lead single from their upcoming full-length album Epigrama. The track introduces the emotional and conceptual gravity that shapes the record, presenting grief not as a fleeting reaction but as a force that traps the individual within cycles of memories and unresolved responsibilities.

Driven by dense atmosphere and deliberate pacing, “Nyra” unfolds as a suffocating meditation on loss and recollection. The composition develops through carefully structured tension rather than sudden aggression, allowing heavy, atmospheric guitars and restrained rhythmic movement to create a gradual sense of psychological pressure. This controlled intensity reflects the album’s broader commitment to intentional songwriting, where each element contributes to a cohesive emotional architecture.

Accompanying the single, ERDVE present a music video filmed at the Park of Europe in Joneikiškės, Lithuania. The visual unfolds among monumental sculptural works, including Double Negative Pyramid by Sol LeWitt (1999), Space of Unknown Growth by Magdalena Abakanowicz (1998), Lying Head by A. Jacovskis (2001), Chamber of Light by Aleš Veselý (1997), and White by Artūras Raila (1992).

ERDVE is a metal band from Vilnius, Lithuania, experimenting with extreme music since 2016.

In 2017, the band signed a record contract with SEASON OF MIST records, who later released their debut album VAITOJIMAS (translated as: Moaning). The album has set a strong foundation for the band to keep pushing the limits of creativity within the framework of heavy, yet atmospheric metal iterations.

Their second album SAVIGAILA (translated as: Self-loathing) was released by Season of Mist in 2021, and has presented a different and more abrasive approach towards composing and storytelling, focusing on the intensity, unpredictability and drama.

The band is known to dive into unexpected ventures by choosing to perform in places that intuitively seem incoherent to the type of music being played or are not considered to be regular venues. First such show took place in the church of St. John’s 2019 and another one in Lukiškės Ex-Prison, both in Vilnius, Lithuania.

After the second album, the band took some time to rediscover their relationship with music and identified the elements that would convey their future vision in the most truthful way. This idea is followed by their 2026 release – EPIGRAMA, that delivers a familiar, yet a fundamentally different approach towards experimenting within the confines of heavy music and reflective storytelling. The goal was to craft a meticulous consistency between the music, lyrics and sound production, where every aspect of the song works together to create meaningful impact. This album marks a new beginning for ERDVE, in the process of rediscovery, experimentation and raw expression.

HANGARVAIN Release Brand New Single ‘Dreams For Sale’ with Live Footage Video

Posted by tarjavirmakari on March 20, 2026
Posted in: Int. News, News. Tagged: HANGARVAIN. Leave a comment

Out now on all digital platforms via Volcano Records, “Dreams For Sale” is the brand-new single from Naples-based rock band HANGARVAIN.

With over a decade under their belt, six acclaimed albums, and shows across Europe and Japan, the band has steadily built a reputation as a cult favorite in the independent rock scene. They’ve also recently released a documentary celebrating their 10-year journey (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YtxgjSXreAM), and just weeks ago opened in Milan for rock icons Adrian Smith (Iron Maiden) and Richie Kotzen.

Fronted by the charismatic Sergio Toledo Mosca and driven by guitarist and producer Alessandro Liccardo, Hangarvain return just over a year after their latest album “Dèka” with a track that makes their direction crystal clear: hard-hitting blues rock delivered with grit, soul, and raw energy. “Dreams For Sale” pushes further down the path set by their recent work, marking a definitive shift away from their alternative roots and fully embracing a blues-driven, pentatonic sound—while holding tight to the band’s signature punchy, heavy edge.

Along with the single, the band has released a video featuring live footage from their recent show at Naples’ historic Auditorium Novecento. Watch it here:
