French Progressive metallers Kozoria is proud to unleash its brand-new track ‘Reborn’, taken from their band’s upcoming album The Source out October 11th via Black Lion Records Pre-order CD/Digital at https://music.blacklion.nu/Kozoria. Check out the previous video for the track ‘Division’ here!
Kozoria comments: REBORN
-Introduced by Dawn, this cynical track title conveys the absurdity and horror of terrorism. It bluntly underlines the sense of omnipotence and messianic calling at the heart of fundamentalist ideologies. The connection between extremist discourses and the warrior imagery invoked through the song creates a cathartic dissonance, though avoiding any moral lecture.
In “The Source,” Kozoria paints a romantic and dramatic universe throughout the tracks. Each story depicts the anxieties of human beings facing the violence of their own emotions. The hostility of these environments often mirrors internal conflicts intertwined with paradoxes. Songwriting serves contemporary narratives. The polyphonies create contrasts, they induce dual meanings, they evoke irony or invigorate the main melodies. However, these generally dark themes are consistently punctuated by luminous breakthroughs, glowing with hope and vitality.

Parisian alt-rockers Storm Orchestra reveal their exhilarating new single, “Drummer,” out now on Mascot Records. You can watch the video HERE.
Their irresistible blend of infectious glammy hooks and stadium filling heaviness sets them apart from their contemporaries. Marrying a charismatic fusion of Nothing But Thieves, Royal Blood, and Muse has seen them capture the attention of the Paris Underground scene as one of the leading lights.
Talking about “Drummer” singer-guitarist Maxime Goudard says, “This song is a fun one that we wrote a few years ago. It’s inspired by some antics and stories from friends, and our very own drummer as well. The chorus really sticks in your head, even our friends from other bands sing it to us! The drum parts especially were written with a simple take: we want this song to be the first one you want to learn on drums. It’s really fun to play with a bit of challenge on the bridge though!”
Goudard melancholically sings “Have you ever, felt so much in pain, that you gotta, dig inside your brain, have you ever exploded like champagne, that you gotta be a drummer,” offering some depth to the song before it grabs you by the neck and whips you into the uncontrollably infectious chorus.
The music video features a revolving line-up of drummers to which Goudard adds, “We wanted to do something around drums that shows the more fun aspect of our music and our personalities. It’s a way to pay tribute to some of the greatest rock drummers that influenced us, and above all the best excuse to have Loïc wearing wigs! We took it serious though, Loïc tried to mimic the playing style of his favourite drummers.”
“Drummer” follows the previous single, the metallic alt-rock “Bright Soul,” in which Goudard opens up about his fear of letting his dark side take over the person he wants to be. The track picked up multiple playlists across Amazon, Deezer and Spotify.
Teenage friends Maxime Goudard (vocals, guitar), Adrien Richard (bass) and Loïc Fouquet’s (drums) euphoric grandiosity has seen them emerge as one of the most exciting acts on the Paris music scene. As a then-unsigned band, they picked up an impressive combined 4M streams at the end of last year, ending 2023 in a triumphant fashion as the “Artist to Watch in 2024” by Spotify France and in the Top of the Rock: Best of 2023 and Deezer’s 2023 Rock playlists.
They’ve captured lightning in a bottle and are selling out clubs across France and have shone on the festival circuit and will be heading out on a tour of Germany in September with Lonely Spring.
Light and dark, euphoria and heaviness, glamour and aggression – Storm Orchestra are here to be your new favourite band.

One of the main themes of the song is self-centeredness. The narrator feels frustration and anger towards being unable to help their loved ones. Sometimes it can be challenging for each person to put themselves in the other person’s position. Every once in a while, it’s important to stop and think about other people’s needs as well. The haunting and oppressive atmosphere of ‘Pray’ presents the darker and more hopeless side of the album.
Airi’s debut album “Kind Little One” was released in August 2022, with singles “Earthquake”, “Headlights” and “Lonely Cloud” getting frequent airplay on indie stations in Finland, the UK and the US. Inspired by the themes of the album, the band organized a charity concert for mental health, which grossed €1500 for Finnish mental health organization Mieli ry. Airi’s has played over 100 shows, including appearances at Ruisrock 2024 and as a support band on Erja Lyytinen‘s Finnish tour dates. The band has also toured abroad in Sweden and the UK – in Spring 2024 they performed at London’s legendary Dublin Castle in Camden for a packed club, along with three other highly successful shows around London.
Second album Sea of Your Thoughts will be released on September 27th via V.R. Label, distributed by Playground Music.

“Mostly my writing comes straight from the heart. When I write music it has to come naturally. Melodies are very important to me and that’s why we have lot of melodic riffs in our songs. It tells you a story, it’s not basic death metal. I feel like I can show much more about myself with melodies. It’s something that I do. I don’t think a lot about which bands have inspired me, but i have to say that gothenburg’s melodic death metal scene from 90’s has inspired me a lot. But our music still has that Finnish melancholy. Both Finnish and Swedish melodic death metal is very important to me.” – Guitarist/Songwriter, Elias Vierimaa
Pestilent Scars was born in the winter of 2022/2023. The band has had the same line-up for almost its entire existence. Pestilent Scars released their first single “Deceitful Phoenix” in the summer of 2023. The single was a relative success. Deceitful Phoenix” was followed by “All On My Own” in the autumn of the same year.
The band played several live shows in 2023 and 2024, which were energetic and showcased the band’s overall idea. At their last gig the band performed their forthcoming album “Meadows Of Misfortune”. The album will be released in early 2025.
From brutal metal and rock to alternative rock and pop, BEYOND UNBROKEN show off their diverse musical inclinations in their latest single. Using synthesizers, drums, and guitar to create an all over solemn atmosphere Beyond Unbroken’s feels like a complete 180 from their previous releases. The track fuses elements of pop into alternative rock for a refreshing and unique single.
In their own words, “‘Oceans’ is a track that indulges our curiosity about the pop music space. There are many heavy hitters in this genre, and with this song, we wanted to experiment with different artistic outside the box ideas throughout the track. We had a lot of fun exploring and putting together all of the many elements that makeup the song and what they turned into for the final version. There are a few key factors that made ‘Oceans’ really fun to create during the writing process. For instance, in the bridge section, we wanted an underwater, old-school digital Gameboy lead sound. We referenced video games like Pokémon and Donkey Kong to inspire that clever little lead. It’s one of our personal favorite sections to hear in the song. On the other side of the song, we introduced real finger snaps. After listening and referencing Michael Jackson and how he uses his own finger snaps in his songs, we thought it would be another fun little idea to include in the recording. We experimented with snapping one palm and then two palms at the same time to create a fuller sound. It sounded so good to us that we ended up putting it as a break in the song, right in the middle of the chorus, to hook listeners in. We feel that ‘Oceans’ will make a tremendous impact on our fall full-length album by showcasing our different signature styles and genres that we love to tackle. Each song stands out with its own uniqueness, and ‘Oceans’ will contribute to the diversity and richness of the record.”
“Oceans” is another testament to the band’s ability to blend genres seamlessly, creating a unique sound that is both captivating and will resonate with fans.
In a world of boundaries Beyond Unbroken refuses to be defined by one genre. Founded by former Escape The Fate members, brothers Monte and Michael Money, the band habitually crosses the lines, mixing genres the way an artist mixes paint with results that often defy expectation. They released their first single “Under Your Skin” in 2015 and debuted their first independent EP Don’t Wake The Dead in 2017 with producer Matt Good of From First To Last. The EP was well received with the animated video “Overdose” earning millions of views upon release. Their first debut album, Running Out of Time, followed in 2020 with singles earning millions of streams and premiering on Alt Press.
On April 29, 2020, the band covered Lil Peep and Twenty One Pilots mashup, “Falling Down + Heathens” and it remains the band’s most streamed track to this day. In 2021 the band released a one-off single “With Or Without Me” on the FiXT Radium Compilation which eventually led to the band signing with the label in 2023.
As the sombre seasons are around the corner, WOLFHEART deliver the perfect soundtrack for the upcoming months with their brand-new album, “Draconian Darkness,” which is finally out now worldwide via Reigning Phoenix Music (RPM). To celebrate not only the new record but also the first leg of the supporting touring cycle, which consists of 10 dates all across Finland, the Finnish winter metal band have prepared a music video for the album opening track, ‘Ancient Cold.’ Epically marching symphonic sounds kick off its simple but effective bulldozing introduction and set the tone for the song which sees the group break its mainly reigning coldness during the choruses where especially WOLFHEART‘s clean vocal section brilliantly shines.
“‘Ancient Cold’ is a perfect album and show opener with its massive beginning and an intense amount of riffs and melodies which take listeners onto a rollercoaster ride filled with Nordic fire and ice. It was also worth of the most epic music video shooting location we have even been to. The breathtaking highlands of Iceland are a perfect match,” band leader Tuomas Saukkonen says.
He adds, “”Draconian Darkness” is our seventh album and musically it is the pinnacle of all music we have released since 2013. After a full year of work on the album and now residing under the mighty wings of RPM, this is definitely a milestone in our career.”
The opus was recorded at Deep Noise Studios and produced, mixed and mastered by the band’s long-time collaborator Saku Moilanen; its artwork was crafted by Nikos Stavridakis (VisionBlack).
