Emerging metallic hardcore outfit MANY EYES (fronted by ex-Every Time I Die vocalist Keith Buckley) kicked off their U.S. tour yesterday, August 29, with a run of headlining performances through August 31. Then, the band will hit the road in support of Sum 41 on September 4, in which they will also be performing a series of off day album release shows, for which the band has now added two additional dates – October 7 in Colorado Springs, CO and October 12 in Millersville, PA. Many Eyes began in the winter of 2022 when Keith Buckley (Ex-Every Time I Die, The Damned Things) connected with brothers Nick (Producer/ Owner of Dexter’s Lab Recording) and Charlie Bellmore (Corpsegrinder/ Toxic Holocaust) through their mutual friend, Jamey Jasta, frontman for metal legends Hatebreed. The Light Age was written and recorded over a few weeks in both Buffalo, NY, and Milford, CT, where the members reside.Taking cues from the Grunge Rock and Hardcore of the 1990s that was so influential to them growing up, the members of Many Eyes skillfully blend chaos with melody.
Many Eyes’ live performances, including their tour with post-hardcore icons THURSDAY, have demonstrated their ability to deliver high-energy shows with precision and emotion. With Craig Vittorio now on guitar and Sean Vallie on bass, alongside Nick Bellmore’s powerful drumming and Keith Buckley’s commanding vocals, the band remains focused on pushing forward and exploring new creative horizons.
As they embark on the next phase of their journey, Many Eyes remains committed to their core ethos—creating music that resonates deeply with listeners, blending raw power with melodic depth, and continually evolving as artists. The future looks bright as they continue to chart their path forward.

Chris Slade launched the band ‘THE CHRIS SLADE TIMELINE’ in 2012 to mark 50+ years as a professional rock drummer. For this project, Slade took on phenomenal vocalists STEVE GLASSCOCK and PAUL “BUN” DAVIS with the added stunning musical techniques of guitarist JAMES CORNFORD along with keyboard and guitar player MICHAEL J. CLARK you most certainly have a band to be reckoned with and worthy to mark Slade’s illustrious musical career.
This is a concept for Slade that will include performances from a varied set list from Tom Jones, Manfred Mann’s Earthband, Uriah Heep, The Firm, ASIA, MSG, David Gilmour, Gary Moore along with a fair degree of AC/DC numbers and many surprises to be unwrapped along the way.
“After all these years recording and playing with some of the world’s greatest rock musicians such as Tom Jones, Manfred Mann’s Earthband, Gary Moore, Gary Numan, Denny Laine, Jimmy Page, Paul Rodgers, David Gilmour, Uriah Heep, Asia and of course AC/DC.
About Chris Slade:
Slade started his career at the age of 16 with Tom Jones before he changed his name to Tom Jones, this included World tours and recording throughout the 60’s.
Chris Slade was a founding member of ‘Manfred Mann’s Earth Band’ in January of 1971. He was to spend seven years with the band, recording eight albums and achieving three UK Top Ten singles in the process: ‘Joybringer’ (No. 9, October 1973), ‘Blinded By The Light’ (No. 6, September 1976 & a multi million selling #1 in the USA) and ‘Davy’s On The Road Again’ (No.6, June 1978). After ‘Earthband’ he spent 2 years with ‘Uriah Heep.’ A Year with Gary Numan and a year with David Gilmour in 1984.
He later teamed up with Jimmy Page, Paul Rodgers and bassist Tony Franklin to form ‘The Firm’. They produced two excellent albums for Atlantic in 1985 and 1986 that gave them a few radio hits including ‘Radioactive’ and ‘Satisfaction Guaranteed.’
Then Chris joined Gary Moore, taking over from Cozy Powell just four days before the start of the 1989 ‘After The War’ tour. It was at one of Gary Moore’s gigs in The UK that Malcolm Young saw Chris Slade play. After the tour it was Chris’s intention to put together a band with ex-Aerosmith guitarist Rick Dufay. But the call from AC/DC scuppered those plans as he was destined to tour and record with them over the course of the next five years, playing on their acclaimed ‘Razors Edge’ Album, and giving a killer performance on their concert DVD “Live from Donington”.
After his stint with AC/DC Chris joined the prog-rock band ‘Asia’, who (even with the many personnel changes over the years) had still been managing to churn out some excellent music. Chris recorded with them on their 2000-2004 studio recordings, ‘Aura’ and ‘Silent Nation’ , and put forth his ‘trademark’ energy-filled live performances on all the subsequent tours that ensued over five years in total.
In the 21st Century, for a period of 5 years, Slade played drums for German guitarist Michael Schenker before forming THE CHRIS SLADE TIMELINE in 2012.
Albertan deathrock denizens, Pøltergeist, have signed with independent music label Bad Omen Records (Watch Hazel, Satan’s Satyrs). The Canadian new musick trio will release its debut LP, ‘Nachtmusik‘, on October 25th. Described as a mix of Post-Punk, traditional metal, and shoegaze from the frostbitten plains, Pøltergeist plays propulsive, crypt-kicking coldwave that charts a pathway from the catacombs to the cosmos. “I consider us first and foremost a Post-Punk band, but heavy metal will always play an important role,” says front person Kalen Baker, citing the likes of In Solitude, Unto Others and Tribulation as bands who’ve explored the hinterlands between the two worlds. “When I got really into Goth Rock, one thing I noticed was that it was just as cold and bleak as black metal but in a different way“.
Having a longstanding love for the mystical metallic strains of Angel Witch, Cauldron and Blue Öyster Cult, Baker found himself moved by both Vancouver contemporary post-punk act Spectres and the epochal British melancholia of The Chameleons‘ ‘Script From The Bridge‘, not to mention gothic and post-punk legends like Sisters Of Mercy and The Sound, and paradigms of the ethereal like Cocteau Twins, Slowdive and My Bloody Valentine. Bolstered by the lyrical influence of spiritual progenitors like Moorcock, Lovecraft, Poe and the David Lynch of Twin Peaks, the sound of Pøltergeist was born; a gritty but magickal realm where crepuscular intensity is joined in psychic battle by metallic fortitude.

The Metal Voice recently interviewed Nervosa guitarist Helena Kotina and new drummer Gabriela Abud about their upcoming North American Tour and their ultimate tour experience VIP.
They also spoke about their heroes that have met on the road touring and new drummer Gariela Abud.
When asked about the upcoming set list “This is going to be one of the longest setlists that we ever played because we are going to have a combination of old songs from the previous albums (classics) and we are going to have a lot of songs from Jailbreak (latest) album that never played before live.”
When asked about the upcoming special Tour V.I.P. “This is the first time we are doing this thing because it is a headlining tour for us and now we have the opportunity. We are going to have two packages of VIP tickets. Both of them will have meet and great but the second one will be special. It will include the whole touring experience, like what does a band do during the day. Tour bus tour and we explain the day to day things a band does. So the fans have a chance to see how it is to be in a band for a day.”
Thrash metal mavens NERVOSA recently released their blistering fifth full-length, Jailbreak, to major acclaim, and have now set their sights on North America, announcing their first ever headline tour of the USA and Canada beginning in late August 2024!
