From the underground depths of Trier, ROTTEN SOIL unleash a savage tribute to the glory days of death metal – filthy, furious, and forged in the spirit of the early ’90s Swedish scene. Since their formation in 2020, the band has been on a relentless mission: no trends, no compromises – just pure, chainsaw-driven brutality. The band’s lineup features Kring (vocal & drums on the album), Svenom (guitars), S.K. (bass), and Sepp (drums), forming a unit that delivers both raw intensity in the studio and crushing power on stage.
In 2022, the German band released well received by listeners and media, debut album titled “From Beyond the Grave“. Now, ROTTEN SOIL return with new studio albim “I Worship Death” which is an eleven-track onslaught of relentless riffs, thunderous drums, and venomous vocals. Written and recorded by the band themselves, the album embodies uncompromising death metal at its core, including a crushing Dismember cover of “Casket Garden.”
Music for the newest record was mixed and mastered by Fredrik Nordström at the legendary Studio Fredman (At The Gates, Dimmu Borgir, In Flames) in Sweden. Band logo was done by Christophe Szpajdel (Emperor, Moonspell, Graveland (PL)), while the striking cover artwork was created by Adrián Ribes. Album was released in digital format (smart link), CD and limited vinyl on February 27, 2026, and is available for purchase at Bandcamp (link here).
Band comments their new album: “I Worship Death delivers a sound that hits like a sledgehammer – classic in spirit, lethal in execution. No gimmicks. No mercy. No escape. Rotten Soil is death metal—pure and uncompromising“.

German heavy metal legends ACCEPT celebrate 50 years of pure power, by bringing together the scene’s A-list musicians for a landmark release. Teutonic Titans 1976–2026 stands as a definitive statement of the band’s legacy, forged in steel and driven by unmistakable riffs. Arriving September 4, 2026, via Napalm Records, the album delivers some of the most iconic songs ever written in heavy music.
Led by guitarist Wolf Hoffmann, the longtime architect of ACCEPT’s sound, the band is joined by a staggering 50 guests across 19 reimagined versions of their biggest tracks. Teutonic Titans 1976-2026 is ACCEPT’smost ambitious and star-studded release to date, reaching far beyond their country’s borders. Featuring the biggest names in heavy music paying tribute to the German icons, the record cements the band’s standing on the global stage. This is more than an album; it is a manifesto of metal! Pre-orders are now available in various exclusive formats.
Wolf Hoffmann about Teutonic Titans 1976-2026: “There is no better way to celebrate this 50-year anniversary than to have our musical peers, friends, and inspirations come together with us to record these classic ACCEPT songs, which I am honored and proud to share with the World. I hope everyone enjoys this very special record as much as we all enjoyed making it.”
Chronologically progressing through albums from their formative years, from I’m a Rebel (1980) to Eat the Heat (1989), ACCEPT present their songs with an all-new, all-star lineup, alongside the signature voice of Mark Tornillo and Wolf Hoffmann’s unmistakable riffs. By enlisting a Who’s Who of metal, no two songs on Teutonic Titans 1976-2026 are the same. Every track features a different combination of vocals, guitars, bass, and drums, giving each classic a fresh edge.
Tobias Forge delivers a commanding performance on the track “Save Us” (I’m a Rebel, 1980), joined by Ray Luzier on drums. Phil Anselmo, Kirk Hammett, and Mikkey Dee tear through the speed metal classic “Fast As A Shark” (Restless and Wild, 1982). “Balls to the Wall” surges with the powerful range of Metal God Rob Halford, alongside the guitar work of Matthias Jabs, while the reimagined “Love Child” is elevated by Billy Corgan and David Ellefson (both songs fromBalls to the Wall, 1983).
Other guest stars on ACCEPT’s extraordinary release include K. K. Downing, Bobby Blitz, Hansi Kürsch, Chris Jericho, Ralf Scheepers, Billy Sheehan, Ola Englund, and Jeff Loomis. The album also features a re-recording of “Hellhammer” (Eat the Heat, 1989), performed by ACCEPT’s current lineup: Wolf Hoffmann, bassist Martin Motnik, guitarist Philip Shouse and drummer Christopher Williams, joined by Jason McMaster on vocals.

American death metal legends SIX FEET UNDER are pleased to present their new video for “Mister Blood And Guts.” The track appears on their latest full-length, Next To Die, out now on Metal Blade Records.
Comments guitarist Jack Owen, “When I was young, local TV stations always had a show where a creepy host would show campy cult movies and dress up and tell you tidbits about the film. This continues today with a show hosted by the creepiest of hosts, Svengoolie. ‘Mister Blood And Guts’ is about a film you might see on one of these shows, albeit with a much more violent plot. Our villain is a black clad caped phantom with a top hat who attacks unsuspecting moviegoers, leaving the aisles filled with blood and the seats filled with heads! This is another song that I wrote the music after having the lyrics in my head for a few days.“
Watch a visualizer for “Unmistakable Smell Of Death” HERE and a lyric video for “Mutilated Corpse In The Woods” HERE.
Next To Die marks a new creative high for SIX FEET UNDER, its dozen songs marking the band’s fifteenth album since 1995’s Haunted. The record is essentially broken down into two different sides – Death and Groove – resulting in an aural masterwork that satisfies SIX FEET UNDER as artists, while also offering something for every fan. To bring the songs to brutal life, vocalist Chris Barnes recorded his vocals at the legendary Criteria Recording Studios in Miami. “I’ve recorded 90% of my vocals for SIX FEET UNDER there with my longtime friend and engineer Chris Carroll,” says Barnes. “Criteria has a long and rich history of recording some of the most famous and important albums in the history of music. I feel very comfortable working there.”
Next To Die was produced by Owens and Barnes, mixed and mastered by Mark Lewis of MRL Studios in Nashville, Tennessee, and features the cover art of Sandy Rezalmi.
New Noise Magazine hails “one of [SIX FEET UNDER’s] strongest records to date.” Rock Hard Germany writes, “Next To Die marks the third SIX FEET UNDER album produced by Chris Barnes in collaboration with Jack Owen (ex-Cannibal Corpse), and it can rightfully be hailed as the strongest entry in this trilogy. …Barnes’ growls sound more powerful and cohesive once again.” Blabbermouth notes, “If you want death metal that dazzles with virtuosity and pushes extremity to the limit, there are plenty of bands out there doing just that, but for a satisfying hit of stripped-down barbarism, Next To Die is more than horrible enough.” Adds Devolution Magazine UK, “This album contains a dozen bloodthirsty tracks that cut right to the bone and paint the walls a crimson shade of red. Chris Barnes is in fine fettle and turns in a diverse performance, styling his voice to each song and the overarching feeling is of a band reborn and reenergised. Next To Die will give SIX FEET UNDER a touch of immortality.”
SIX FEET UNDER was initially formed as a side project for Barnes during his final years with the band that he co-founded, Cannibal Corpse. It became the frontman’s sole focus in 1995, coinciding with the release of their debut, Haunted. The current lineup of Barnes, Owen, lead guitarist Ray Suhy, bassist Jeff Hughell, and drummer Marco Pitruzzella make for a devastating unit.
SIX FEET UNDER will return to European stages this June with support from Embryonic Autopsy. In July, the band will kick off a North American headlining tour with support from Kataklysm and Wormhole. In October, the band will head to Latin America for a two-week run of performances. Tickets are on sale now. See all confirmed dates below.

Traditional heavy metal band Wishing Well from Finland has released a new video off their brand new Playing With Fire album, released in March. This time visual extra boost was given to album’s fastest track, Train Of Thoughts, by animated video.
The video was illustrated and animated by Natalia Śmiechowicz, who has made videos for Uriah Heep, Dokken and Motörhead to name but a few. Her inimitable style works very well for music videos, bringing remarkable added value to music.
The video shows the band riding on top of a train through northern lights of Lapland and endless deserts and wastelands, going all the way up to space. Along the ride the old steam locomotive turns into bullet train as the band flies higher and higher, dodging UFOs and killer sharks, finally disappearing into the sun.
“Train is the fastest song we’ve ever done and we’re happy with the way it came out, so we decided we need to support the song with a video that makes people listen to it. We contacted Natalia and she came up with exactly what we were looking for”, says Anssi Korkiakoski, the guitar player of Wishing Well. “It was great fun writing the video because with animation there are no limits whatsoever and Natalia really took us for a great ride in the world of fantasy”, he continued.
This year Wishing Well celebrates their tenth anniversary in the land of rock and roll. Their first album Chasing Rainbows was released in 2016 and since then the band has been constantly active, releasing five well received albums, playing clubs and festivals and touring with bands like Graham Bonnet and Girlschool.
The band celebrated their anniversary by playing an anniversary gig at Bar Loose in Helsinki, on the 24th of April. Check some pictures from the gig from here. (Live photos by Sari Kossu Koskinen)
In May Wishing Well will play live in Nirvana, Turku and Maxim, Kuopio in Finland. More shows will be confirmed soon on their social media channels.
Playing With Fire is available on CD and on all major digital platforms.

Following their boundary-shattering 2024 opus Absolute Elsewhere, Denver’s cosmic death metal visionaries Blood Incantation return with a new chapter that dives deeper into the origins of their most expansive era.
All Gates Open (Original Motion Picture Soundtrack) will be released on June 5th, 2026via Century Media with pre-orders live now.
Originally only available as part of the deluxe Absolute Elsewhere Artbook, All Gates Open now emerges as a standalone release for the very first time, featuring both the full soundtrack and the accompanying 73-minute documentary.
The release will be available in multiple formats including a Blu-ray edition, vinyl variants and digital album.
More than a companion piece, All Gates Open (Original Motion Picture Soundtrack)captures the very genesis of Absolute Elsewhere. Composed in 2021, the four immersive tracks reveal a radically different dimension of Blood Incantation’ s sonic identity: pastoral, ambient, and deeply introspective. Built from synth improvisations, acoustic instrumentation, and exploratory studio sessions, the material represents what guitarist/vocalist Paul Riedl describes as the “yang energy” to the shadowed atmospheres of Timewave Zero.
The included documentary takes viewers inside Berlin’s legendary Hansa Tonstudios, where the band relocated for a month to write and record Absolute Elsewhere. Directed by Niklas Tschaikowsky and Tammo Dehn, the film offers an intimate and unfiltered look at the band’s creative process, daily life, and immersion into Berlin’ s cultural fabric—featuring appearances by members of Tangerine Dream, Hällas and Sijjin.
