NEVER ELECTED Unveil Provocative Video for Single ‘Hate Breeds Hate’

Never Elected, a deadly grungy rock group from Washington DC, USA has recently re-released their album â€œTurbulence” this past April and are stoked about the reception that they’ve gotten so far from it. Now they have a music video for the single â€œHate Breeds Hate” that shows off their proactive politically charged lyrics and grungy rock riffs. Reflecting on the band’s journey, Altan Aydin shares:

“Somewhere between hard rock from the late 80s and the early 90s grunge era, our music delves into the turbulent times of our vocalist’s life. The reactions from our live performances range from pure exhilaration to deep emotional resonance, a testament to the raw honesty embedded within our songs.”

Formed by Sujit Kumar and Altan Aydin, both fueled by a shared passion for grunge and rock n’ roll, Never Elected has evolved into a powerhouse ensemble with Dr. T’s melodic bass riffs and Wesley Meyer’s driving force on drums. Despite facing challenges brought on by the pandemic, the band persevered, showcasing their resilience by recording and releasing two singles/music videos during this unprecedented time.

With plans to embark on a tour to promote their upcoming album release, Never Elected invites audiences to join them on a journey of introspection and exploration. They are recommended for fans of Guns N Roses, Soundgarden, and Foo Fighters.

Symphonic fantasy power metallers KNIGHTFALL have released a Music Video for ‘Remember My Name’, taken from their latest album “Destiny Calling”, released on March 29th 2024.

MATTEO MANCUSO Reveals New Song + Video ‘Paul Position’

Today, the extraordinary guitar virtuoso Matteo Mancuso reveals his new song, “Paul Position”, in honour of another guitar great, Paul Gilbert. You can stream the songs and watch the video here.
 
Talking about the song, the Sicilian guitarist says, “I wrote it some days after receiving this wonderful Baritone Guitar from Bacci. If you are wondering why it’s called “Paul Position,” it’s because I was inspired by one of my favourite players, Mr. Paul Gilbert! You may recognize some of his signature licks in the solo section.” Stefano India (Bass) and Giuseppe Bruno (Drums) also feature on the song.

Mancuso has become the hottest guitarist on the planet following the release of his debut album, 2023s ‘The Journey’ which featured the singles “Samba Party,” which channels the excitement and jubilation of Rio de Janeiro during carnival – but the song itself is anything but samba. Also, “Silk Road, which was dedicated to his hometown Palermo and his Arab-Norman roots and was the follow-up to the album’s lead single “Drop D,”
 
The YouTube sensation has already adorned the front cover of magazines such as Guitar Techniques, which called him “The Hottest Guitarist on the Planet “, and Total Guitar, which hailed him as the “World’s Hottest Virtuoso.” He has picked up plaudits from some of the world’s most iconic, ground-breaking players who are declaring Matteo as a force to be reckoned with, from Dweezil Zappa to Joe Bonamassa, Steve Vai to Al Di Meola and Tosin Abasi.

In January, he completed a sold-out tour of the US. He has recently opened for the legendary Marcus Miller and performed with Tommy Emmanuel in Palermo. ALIAS NOONE Release Third Single ‘Primordials’ from Upcoming Album

Finnish melodic death metal band Alias Noone has released the third single from their upcoming album! Primordials is about ancient, cosmic entities that embody the fundamental forces and essences of the universe. They exist beyond the scope of time, often being described as having existed before the creation of the universe. They are eternal and unchanging, representing constants in the cosmic order.

The upcoming album Weight of the World was recorded during 2023-24 at the D-Studios in multiple sessions. The album contains 8 songs that are powerful and melodic without losing the Alias Noone signature heavyness and groove. All the songs contain so much more hooks than before.

Lyrical themes deal with painful and heavy issues. Depression, exclusion, the feeling of being left outside. But the songs are not actually too heavy listening. Album tracks contain big beautiful melodic choruses. There is even some acoustic guitar included. The songs were honed to their final form in the studio. There were not many demo versions of the songs this time so the songs lived a lot as the recording sessions proceeded and the band never got bored even though the songs were refined a lot.
