Born from the frost of Northern Finland in 2013, Warfarer weaves chilling tales of small people’s great struggles amidst ancient myths. Their ferocious blend of melodic death metal and symphonic elements bites like the freezing wind and grips you like the flu.

After releasing an EP in 2017 and undergoing a complete reincarnation with new singles in 2018 and 2020, the band is more alive than ever, preparing for war with brutal new songs and sharpened axes. Their upcoming concept album, ‘A Tale Beyond the Pale’, set for release in 2024, delves into the Finnish myth of the Brotherslayer, taking listeners on a journey through jealousy, scheming, Viking raids, duels under the northern lights, and an eventual descent into guilt and madness.

Kalle Puutio – Lead Vocals, Rhythm Guitars
Seppo Kolehmainen – Lead Guitars, Backing Vocals
Klaus Telenius – Bass, Backing Vocals

Drowning Pool, a name etched in the score of modern rock history, roars back into the spotlight with thunderous energy and uncompromising power. The band’s unmistakable sound, synonymous with raw energy and unapologetic attitude, returns to captivate audiences once again.

Known for their iconic anthem “Bodies,” Drowning Pool needs no introduction. This breakout single propelled them to international recognition, leaving an indelible mark on the nu metal landscape. The song’s relentless energy and defiant spirit resonated with a generation, becoming an anthem for moshers, metalheads, and fans of electrifying live performances.

Ryan McCombs played a pivotal role in the band’s evolution, joining their ranks in the aftermath of the tragic loss of beloved frontman Dave Williams. His powerful vocals and charismatic stage presence breathed new life into Drowning Pool, solidifying their status as metal titans. Songs like “37 Stitches,” “Feel Like I Do,” and “Turn So Cold” catapulted them to new heights, earning them a place among the genre’s heavyweights.

Yet, Drowning Pool’s story is not just about music; it’s a testament to enduring friendships and a shared passion for their craft. Ryan’s return to the band in 2023 marks a reunion of kindred spirits, a return to the roots of their musical journey. As he succinctly puts it, “Just being back in the same room together after so many years… was a quick reminder as to why I considered them to be my best friends in the business back in the day.”

Their path has not been without its challenges. “Bodies” faced misinterpretations and controversy, with its lyrics taken out of context. Nevertheless, their music has persisted, embraced by the very culture that birthed it. “Bodies” remains an enduring anthem, not just for Drowning Pool but for metal culture as a whole. Its legacy lives on, inspiring new generations of fans. Guitarist C.J. Pierce captures the essence of their dedication: “I’d play ‘Bodies’ five times a night if people really wanted it that bad!” The song’s timeless appeal transcends generations, resonating with both the seasoned and the fresh-faced.

Drowning Pool’s return is a testament to the enduring power of their music, a reminder that their unapologetic spirit continues to strike chords with audiences worldwide. The band experienced a triumphant resurgence in 2023 and with new music on the horizon, a 2024/25 calendar proving that the demand for the band isn’t about to slow down.., Drowning Pool has a white knuckle grip on their present and future with no plans to slow down.

Eclipse Records is elated to announce the signing of Valkyrie’s Fire to an exclusive worldwide deal. Based in Nashville, Tennessee (USA), the symphonic power metal band is born of true emotional passion that ignites our hearts and unlocks the deepest mysteries of the soul. The band are anxiously preparing to release their debut studio EP album Ascension via Eclipse Records on November 8, 2024. The album was recorded and mixed by Joey Grimaldi, and mastered by Jack Kosto (Firewind, Seven Spires).

“I first heard about Eclipse Records through our bassist Dave” says vocalist Bettie Floyd, “It’s funny, because I didn’t realize they had been the record company for Mushroomhead, which was one of my favorite bands way back in the day! I am so excited for the next steps in our adventure with Eclipse Records and I have been so humbled by their response to our music so far – saying that our music sounds like a cross between Nightwish and Iron Maiden. Those are two very big names to live up to, so I will take that as a huge compliment!” Vocalist Adam Sanders adds “I am beyond excited for Valkyrie’s Fire to be in a partnership with Eclipse Records. We’ve been working hard to prepare our first EP, and it’s amazing to have the label believe in us enough to help us promote and release it in an official capacity. I look forward to seeing what the future holds for us!”

The band’s debut studio EP album Ascension , is a magnificent and unique blend of soaring vocals, blazing guitar licks, and a signature low-end bass attack in the rhythm section, and it is scheduled for release on November 8, 2024. This band has been hailed as the symphonic metal powerhouse of the American south, and the key word here is “power!” First, the band offers us a dual power vocalist approach, male and female, often in harmony, other times in unison, switching solos and trading octaves so effortlessly that they seem to be a unified, magical being. As for the power-guitar, the verse-tracks have enough chock-n-gravel “chunk” to satisfy the heaviest of head bangers, and the lead solos are simply red hot and blistering. Last but certainly not least, the power-bass and power-drums are just as complex and upbeat as they are lush and heavy and deep, dark and daring.

Pre-Save or Pre-Order Ascension at this location.

Ascension track listing
01. Ride Of the Valkyrie
02. The Maiden
03. Empty
04. Nectar Of the Gods
05. Warrior Of the Night

For more information about Valkyrie’s Fire, please visit them on their official website, and connect with the band on Facebook, X/Twitter, Instagram, YouTube, and TikTok.
