LORD OF THE LOST have revealed their live version of “Ruins”, cut from their upcoming live album, LIVE at W:O:A, out August 2, 2024 via Napalm Records! The single is originally featured on their Napalm Records studio album debut, Thornstar (2018, #6 Official German Album Charts).

After two European tours with Iron Maiden, participation in the Eurovision Song Contest finals, a #1 charting album, and an almost completely sold out European tour, the band played their first ever mainstage performance at Wacken Open Air in 2023, when they closed the festival day as “deadliners” after Iron Maiden. The set was recorded and will be released as Live at W:O:A, which is “a dream come true”, as Chris Harms stated during the show.

LORD OF THE LOST topped the Official German Album Charts with their previous albums (Blood & Glitter landing at #1 and Weapons Of Mass Seduction at #2 on the Official German Album Charts), and the band’s career has skyrocketed in recent years, bringing LORD OF THE LOST to the attention of much larger audiences and to huge stages. To celebrate the release off their new offering LIVE at W:O:A, the band teamed up with Metal Hammer UK recently for an extra-special bundle cover with a limited amount of 300 issues worldwide.

LIVE at W:O:A blends old fan favorites (such as “Drag Me To Hell” and “Loreley”) and hits from newer releases, including the title track “Blood & Glitter” as well as the Roxette cover “The Look” from the #1 charting latest studio album Blood & Glitter (Official German Album Charts). Blümchen’s legendary version of Paso Doble’s “Herz An Herz” is another entertaining addition.

Breaking the charts and playing the main stage at Wacken are just some of LORD OF THE LOST’s many 2023 highlights – the band represented Germany at the Eurovision Song Contest finals in Liverpool, performing to more than 150 million live viewers, and received plenty of attention from huge mainstream media outlets simultaneously. LORD OF THE LOST even performed for King Charles III, sold out several headline shows and played many other big festival stages alongside the riveting Wacken performance.

With 15 years of band history, over 500 shows in nearly 40 countries, eight studio albums, three ensemble albums with orchestra and close to 60 music videos – LORD OF THE LOST have proven to be a creative machine that has paved its own way through the musical landscape over the years, without ever being stuck to just one genre or scene. Successor to the electrifying covers album Weapons Of Mass Seduction (2023, #2 on the Official German Album Charts), LIVE at W:O:A might well be LORD OF THE LOST’s last release as a five-piece, as the band gained an official sixth member in spring 2024. SATAN Announce European Tour Dates for September 2024

Long-running heavy metal icons, SATAN, will spend September roadbound on a month-long European tour. The journey begins with seven dates through the UK and Ireland with special guests, Seven Sisters followed by a stop at Pyrenean Warriors Open Air Fest in Torreilles, France. From there, the band will wind their way through sixteen more cities throughout Europe alongside Haunt and Hellfire. Tickets are on sale now. See all confirmed dates below.

SIX FEET UNDER will join Nile for a US co-headlining tour this Winter! The Revenge Of The Underground Tour 2025 begins January 7th in Nashville, Tennessee and runs through February 22nd in Houston, Texas. Support will be provided by Psycroptic and Embryonic Autopsy. Additionally, the tour will include several SIX FEET UNDER one-off shows scattered throughout.

SIX FEET UNDER will be touring in support of their fiery fourteenth studio album, Killing For Revenge, released earlier this year via Metal Blade Records!

A gnarly beast of a record that’s not for the faint-hearted, Killing For Revenge dishes up nightmare-inducing imagery courtesy of Barnes via the vocalist’s trademark guttural vocals. Both the album title and darkly detailed red-hued album cover by artist Vince Locke are perfect containers for the brutality within.

Forged as a side project for Barnes during his final years with the band that he co-founded, Cannibal Corpse, SIX FEET UNDER became the frontman’s sole focus in 1995, coinciding with the release of their debut, Haunted. Only Barnes remains from SIX FEET UNDER‘s original incarnation, but the quality has remained remarkably consistent. The current lineup of Barnes, guitarists Jack Owen (ex-Cannibal Corpse) and Ray Suhy, bassist Jeff Hughell, and drummer Marco Pitruzzella make for a devastating unit.

Killing For Revenge marks the second album that Barnes and Owen have created together since reuniting for 2020’s Nightmares Of The Decomposed. Owen also produced the record. The chemistry between the five men is palpable. From the opening moments of “Know-Nothing Ingrate,” which kicks off the vile proceedings, it’s immediately clear that SIX FEET UNDER focused their energies into something that’s as brutal, lyrically visceral, and musically dazzling as one would hope for from the ground-breaking Tampa-bred death metal lineup.

Wrote Blabbermouth of the release, “Now sounding more like a lethal and harmonious unit than they have for decades, they are plainly and undeniably back in peak, murderous form.” Slam Magazine concurred, “Slow or fast doesn’t matter with SIX FEET UNDER; what counts is heaviness, brutal riffing, and a massive build-up of pressure, interspersed with skillful solos, and Killing For Revenge has more than enough of all of this to offer.” Added New Noise Magazine, “This is a masterful metal annihilator of an album. Last year saw the release of “Sadistic Nightmares”, the second album by northern German rock’n’roll/speed/thrashers Intöxicated. If you follow the guys on their social media channels, you might have noticed that the quintet has been back in the Soundlodge Studio in the meantime.

However, there is no new longplayer in sight yet, but there is an EP, which is expected to be released exclusively on vinyl towards the end of the year. Until then, you can already get a first taste with “Red Light Ripper” – available now on all common download and streaming platforms!

Get ready for another heady trip into the outer reaches of cosmically-inspired progressive rock with the brand new studio album from Pre-Med, the brainchild of multi-instrumentalist Danny Faulkner and featuring former Hawkwind bassist and current Hawkestrel mastermind Alan Davey. Old Habits Die Hard is the fifth official full-length collaboration from these musical pioneers, and offers the duo a chance to bring their decades-long musical experience to bear on what surely ranks as one of the most adventurous releases of their long careers.

Pre-Med’s kinetic brand of spacey, progressive rock includes lush, swirling synths
backed with walls of searing guitar work and thunderous bass grooves to create an
unforgettable musical maelstrom. This outing seeks to combine the group’s experimental tendencies with strong, memorable songs for a well-rounded artistic effort. From the explosive opening track and its fist-pumping chorus to the band’s surprisingly deft cover of Linkin Park’s “One More Light” to the haunting title track, Old Habits is poised to push both Faulkner and Davey well out of their comfort zones and into uncharted musical territory.
