“Circle of Mistakes” was meticulously crafted through a collaborative effort between Revengin, the talented Caio Mendonça, and Rômulo Pirozzi. The track was recorded at the legendary Tellus Studio (home to recordings by Onslaught, Ektomorf, and Borknagar), with mixing and mastering handled by the masterful Caio Mendonça.

Following the announcement of their new EP, ‘V.G.E.P’. out on October 1st, LORDS OF THE TRIDENT returns with the second single from the release, “The Ballad of Jon Milwaukee.” The new track is accompanied by a music video which is available below. 

Frontman Fang VonWrathenstein explains:
“This EP is all about our favorite video games, and one of my favorites is a motorcycle racing game called ‘Road Rash’. We played it on our weekly Twitch gaming stream for many weeks, and when it came time to choose a character, we of course selected the character with the most Wisconsin street cred: Jon Milwaukee! As we played the game, the chat made up a bunch of lore about our bike-racing character, much of which made it into the lyrics of the game. When we were shooting the video, I knew I wanted to have real-life bikers involved, so I asked a friend to help me make introductions with a local gang. A bunch of cases of beer and a couple of bottles of Costco bourbon later, we had a date set up for the shoot. What I didn’t know was that the gang had scheduled a large rally of all of the surrounding gangs to coincide with our filming! We had over 200 bikers at this rally (although unfortunately, a large chunk of them didn’t want to appear on camera). We spent the day riding, drinking, and rocking out, and I think we became honorary members of the gang. Well, at least our biker personas did!”

San Rock Festival 2024 Returns to San Gregorio Matese (CE) – Italy

On August 10, 2024, the beautiful municipal villa of San Gregorio Matese (Villa Luisa) will host the second edition of the San Rock Festival, the music event that is conquering Campania!

Born on September 1, 2022 from the idea of a young rock music enthusiast, the San Rock Festival has grown rapidly thanks to the commitment of a group of young people determined to bring the best rock music to the heart of Matese. After the success of the first edition, which attracted more than 200 people on August 12, 2023, the festival returns with an even richer and more engaging program.

Some of the best emerging bands of the Italian rock scene will take turns on stage: Hanabi, Hangarvain, Furius Jane, Walnut Tree, Tir, Enloveski and Usurper. A mix of styles and sounds that will make this evening dedicated to music and sharing unique.

Athens-based hard rock band Ashes to Omens proudly announces the release of their new single, “My Favorite Sin,” accompanied by a captivating music video. This highly anticipated release marks another significant milestone for the band.

“My Favorite Sin” was expertly engineered, mixed, and mastered by Michael Guevarez, ensuring a top-tier auditory experience for listeners. VOMIT FORTH to Release New Album “Terrified Of God”, on October 11th

Northeast based agents of terror Vomit Forth are driven to create the most visceral death metal the world has ever experienced. The band has just announced their new album, Terrified Of God, set for release October 11th. To celebrate, the band have dropped a new single, Rotting Wool.

In the deep winter of early 2024, the band headed into a cabin in the woods with Randy Lebouf (The Acacia Strain, Jesus Piece), who recorded, mixed, mastered and produced the album. Vomit Forth had an unabashed goal to make “the most unsettling, brutal and scary death metal record of all time” and across the album’s twelve tracks, they surpass it.

On the album’s themes, vocalist Kane shares:
“The biggest thing I want to get across with this record and that humanity doesn’t know everything.  We are flawed, and in a lot of ways disgusting.  We act like we aren’t afraid of what happens after we die.  I know most people like to think nothing happens and we just conduct heat.  That there’s no consequence other than how we effect other people during our time here, but I know there’s a hint of fear in the back of everyone’s mind.  Everyone feels it.  Not a single person on this earth lives without being ‘Terrified of God’ at one point or another in their life.”

BLOOD INCANTATION Announce New Album “Absolute Elsewhere”, Out October 4th

The new Blood Incantation album, Absolute Elsewhere , is unlike anything you’ve ever heard before. Yes, that’s an audacious, possibly hyperbolic claim, but few can claim a sonic watershed as readily as this Denver, Colorado quartet. Hovering at nearly 45 minutes, their longest full length recording yet, the album’s two sprawling movements – The Stargate and The Message – are as confounding as they are engaging, exponentially expanding upon the formulas laid down by their scene-shattering debut Starspawn (2016) and landmark followup Hidden History of the Human Race (2019).

As Blood Incantation’s Paul Riedl tells,  “‘Absolute Elsewhere’ is our most potent audial extract/musical trip yet; like the soundtrack to a Herzog-style Sci-Fi epic about the history of/battle for human consciousness itself, via a 70s Prog album played by a 90s Death Metal band from the future.” 

For inspiration, the group looked to the mid-70’s progressive rock collective, Absolute Elsewhere (best known as a celestial stopover for King Crimson drummer, Bill Bruford) as the album’s namesake. For the uninitiated, Absolute Elsewhere’s obscure 1976 album, In Search of Ancient Gods , was constructed as a musical accompaniment to the works of Chariots of the Gods author, Erich Von Daniken, and his theories of non-terrestrial humanoid prompts towards mankind’s evolution. The subject matter of which should serve as no surprise to anyone familiar with Blood Incantation’s cosmically philosophical leanings.

But make no mistake, the four musicians working under the Blood Incantation banner for the past decade – guitarist and vocalist Paul Riedl, drummer Isaac Faulk, guitarist Morris Kolontyrsky and bassist Jeff Barrett – have successfully left the microgravity of genre behind and are re-writing the Rosetta Stone of extreme music with a new language entirely. Demonstrations like their 2022 all-synth show or 2024’s Roadburn Festival headlining appearance where they played back-to-back death metal and ambient made it clear: Blood Incantation have honed their abilities to go boldly where few bands have gone before, and reveal no signs of slowing down.
