CRYSTAL BALLS Join Wanikiya Record with New Single ‘Peace Of Mind’

Wanikiya Record/Promotion is proud to officially welcome Crystal Balls to its artist roster while simultaneously announcing the release of the band’s powerful new single, “Peace Of Mind,” available today on all major digital streaming platforms.

Formed between Isernia and Castel di Sangro in November 2021, Crystal Balls have quickly established themselves as one of the most promising emerging acts in the new Italian rock scene. Beginning their journey as a cover band paying tribute to the legendary hair metal and glam rock artists of the ’80s and ’90s, the group gradually developed its own distinctive musical identity, creating original compositions that successfully blend tradition with innovation.

The band’s name perfectly reflects its artistic vision: just as a crystal ball embraces the past, present, and future, Crystal Balls draw inspiration from the legacy of classic rock, reinterpreting it through a contemporary perspective while pushing it toward exciting new musical horizons.

With “Peace Of Mind,” the band delivers one of the most personal and emotionally profound songs of its career. The track explores delicate yet universal themes such as inner suffering, the search for one’s identity, and the daily battle against the demons of the mind.

More than simply a song, “Peace Of Mind” is an honest confession—a deeply personal wound transformed into music. Inspired by the songwriter’s own life experience, the track tells the difficult journey of living with bipolar disorder, yet it never becomes a clinical narrative. Instead, its story unfolds through powerful symbolic imagery representing loneliness, inner conflict, and the constant search for emotional balance.

The powerful refrain, “Looking for my peace of mind,” becomes the emotional centerpiece of the song: a cry cast into the void, expressing the desperate yet determined pursuit of an inner peace that often seems impossible to reach.

The song moves through the extremes of the human experience, ultimately condensed into the closing words “Dreams, Hope, Love, Death,” portraying a battle that goes far beyond a specific condition. It speaks to anyone who has ever struggled with their own vulnerabilities while searching for the strength to rediscover themselves.

“Peace Of Mind” tells the story of someone who continues searching for light even in life’s darkest moments. It is a message of resilience, authenticity, and courage that resonates deeply with every listener.

Crystal Balls’ addition to the Wanikiya Record/Promotion roster marks the beginning of an exciting new chapter for the band as they prepare to bring their music and message to an ever-growing international audience through promotional campaigns, media partnerships, interviews, reviews, and new artistic opportunities.

With their distinctive sound—born from the fusion of diverse musical influences and driven by a powerful expressive vision—Crystal Balls prove themselves to be a band capable of addressing profound subjects without sacrificing the energy and communicative power of rock music.

“Peace Of Mind” is available since June 26, 2026, on all major digital streaming platforms.

Wormholedeath is pleased to announce the release of “The Gap,” the new single from Sydney thrash/heavy metal band Decimator.

Musically unrelenting but emotionally complex, “The Gap” tackles the heavy duality of human struggle. Inspired by Sydney’s infamous coastal landmark, the track explores the thin line between tragedy and survival.

“It’s a song about despair and hope,” explains guitarist Caiseal Duncan. “The Gap is a tragic place where many people have gone to end their lives. But after decades, maybe some go there and think again about their decision? Maybe there’s a force that makes them reconsider and return to their life?”

“The Gap” is the first release from Decimator’s forthcoming album and marks the debut of the band’s new lineup, with Ash Pollard now behind the kit.

About DECIMATOR:

Founded in January 2021 by Lance Holland-Keen and Mike Le Macchia, Decimator was forged in a shared obsession with old-school thrash and uncompromising heavy metal. The band famously battled through COVID-era restrictions and revolving line-ups before cementing their reputation as a lethal live act, debuting on stage in September 2022.

Following the success of their raw, unfiltered debut album, ’Til The Enemies Are Gone’—recorded in a single session at Powell Lane Studios and released in October 2024 via Wormholedeath—Decimator has consistently proven themselves as one of the hardest-working bands in the modern Australian metal scene. “The Gap” signals an evolution in their sound, combining their signature old-school thrash grit with a massive, modern sonic assault.

Machukha‘s sophmore album is scheduled for release in early 2027, with new music to be released later this year.

Machukha (Ukrainian: “step-mother”) gained notable attention in the short time that they have been performing live for their visceral approach to music. The intention of their music is to guide the listener through an continuously unfolding process of very specific emotions, which is starting from the very first note. During the songwriting process and when performing on stage, Machukha is pushing the range of expression, which results in the band weaving elements of various genres into the musical arc. Natalya (vocalist) sings exclusively in her native Ukrainian language, and uses her voice as an outlet for genuine anguish.

Machukha started performing live in late 2023. Since then, they have performed at Roadburn Festival (NL), Core The Festival in Scotland, Culthe Fest (DE), A Colossal Weekend (DK) and opened up the main stage at Complexity Fest (NL). Further festival bookings for 2026 include: Fekete Zaj (HU), Rockstadt Extreme Fest (RO) and Damnation Festival (UK). In 2025, Machukha was booked as the support act for Agriculture‘s three week UK and EU tour, for which they received a stipend from Musicboard. Since then, they have joined the roster of Atonal Music Agency (UK).

For their debut album Mochari, Machukha worked with Jan Oberg from Hidden Planet Studio and Jack Shirley from The Atomic Garden Studios, which was released via Consouling Sounds on 7th June 2024. Cvlt Nation listed Mochari on rank five of the top black metal releases of that year. Following the success of this album, they have received a grant by Initiative Music for the production and marketing of their second album, for which they have worked with Boris Wilsdorf from Andere Baustellen Tonstudio and drummer Pierre-Hugues Hadacek. The new album is scheduled for release early 2027.

Aside from their band roles, the members are working in several other projects connected to music and performing arts. Natalya organizes DIY underground music festival in Ukraine BACK TO YOUTH which is now suspended due to russian full-scale invasion. Bláthin (guitar) worked for LGBTQ+ icon Peaches during her 20th-anniversary tour of “The Teaches of Peaches” and recorded guitar on her newest album No Lube So Rude. Currently, Bláthin works as a performer and musician for award-winning choreographer Florentina Holzinger, who is representing Austria at the Venice Biennale 2026. Mykola Lebed (bass, saxophone) is an artist from Ukraine, working with music and sound art and is currently composing music for theatre productions and joined the group in late 2024. Leviana “Leva” Klette is a queer icon in the Berlin scene and has been drumming in many projects spanning various genres. She works as a session musician and is a fixed member of the group since 2026.

Machukha has self-produced a total of six music videos, three for their debut Mochari and three for their sophomore album. Natalya designed and handmade costumes and props for each video, and Bláthin developed the script and directed, using her background knowledge of theatre and contemporary dance. The visual narrative of these music videos stands out for its complex, folklore-inspired language, weaving themes of resilience and existentialism into an intense visual work. They collaborated with The Ljilja and other performance artists, and the directors of photography Chase Morhardt, Zoe Bassi, Talin Seigmann and Gil Cojujeira. While Mochari is about processing pain by finally allowing yourself to feel the whole weight of it, with the second album, the question is no longer just what is felt in the body, but what must be done with it; cut out, reflected until it breaks, or carried until it burns. It tells the story of how an outer force that begins as external imposition becomes internalized action. The violence softens into inevitability.

Machukha are:
Natalya: vocals
Bláthin: guitar
Leva: drums
Mykola: bass/saxophone

VICTORIA K Release New Single ‘Take It All’ from Forthcoming Album

Australian gothic metal act Victoria K return with their new single “Take It All”, out June 26, 2026, taken from the band’s forthcoming third studio album, “The Pleasure of Sorrow“.

Following the release of “Oh So Weary”, the new track opens a darker and more vulnerable chapter in the world of “The Pleasure of Sorrow“. Seductively melancholic and deeply personal, “Take It All” moves through loss, memory, and the slow process of healing, shaping an emotional journey that feels intimate, atmospheric, and direct.

For fans of Evanescence, Lacuna Coil, and Spiritbox, Victoria K continues to evolve their gothic metal foundations through modern metalcore intensity, electronic textures, heavier dynamics, and layered sound design. The result is a sound that remains melodic and emotionally charged while pushing the band further into a darker, more contemporary space.

Speaking about the single, Victoria K explains:

“The song discusses a moment in time when a piece of yourself is taken from you. It may have been a piece of your character, of your youth, but it was a moment in time where you lost something of yourself in a way that felt as though it was out of your control.”

Written as a form of catharsis, “Take It All” unfolds like a distant memory resurfacing through sound, capturing the aftermath of loss, the uncertainty that follows, and the emotional spiral of trying to make sense of something that cannot be undone. Rooted in Victoria K’s love for gothic metal, with Evanescence as a key reference point, the track lets its atmosphere, vocal melodies, and recurring main riff carry the emotional weight, turning restraint into one of its greatest strengths.

The single arrives as part of Victoria K’s upcoming third studio album, “The Pleasure Of Sorrow”, a new chapter that sees the band expanding their gothic metal roots with darker atmospheres, modern heaviness, and subtle electronic textures. Further details regarding the album, including the release date, will be revealed in the coming months. Stay tuned!

Turku Rock Academy Presents: NEMESIS’ New Single & Video ‘Always Me’

The interesting and fresh NEMESIS relies on a 90s-inspired but interestingly modern rock sound and strong young women as their front figures. In addition to Mark Bertény, the Turku Rock Academy’s own new generation of producers are responsible for the production!

Listen to the single on music services and watch the video below.

Nemesis is a rock band from Turku that draws inspiration from the spirit of the ’90s. The‬ ‭ band was formed in early 2024 and has been an official member of Turku Rock Academy‬ ‭ since spring 2025. The lineup consists of 17-year-old frontwomen Fiia Lorimer and Carla‬ ‭ Mononen Gómez, supported by more experienced musicians Fil Haides and Roope Sainisto.‬ ‭ Despite their young age, the band members have strong capabilities and an even greater‬ ‭ passion for making music. Nemesis isn’t afraid to stand out – on the contrary, they want to‬ ‭ be more than just an ordinary band.‬ Nemesis’ second single ‘Aways Me’ was written in the summer of 2025. The song has already energized audiences in numerous live performances, but in the studio it has been refined into the best possible version. Distorted guitar riffs and an uplifting melody bring both intensity and sensitivity to the track.

We wanted to make a song that sounds honest and not overly polished. It draws from things that are important to us, like grunge and older alternative rock, while also bringing in our own sound. The song deals with an obsessive and intense romantic relationship. The chorus line ‘all you are is me’ came very naturally while writing the lyrics. It is guaranteed to stay in your head long after listening.

Produced by Mark Bertényi & Toivo-Olavi Väliviita.

RARE ELEMENTS Releases New Single ‘Under the Iron Sky’

Under the Iron Sky is a slow, heavy, groove-driven track with progressive influences, built around two parallel layers of conflict: an internal psychological struggle and an external, war-like landscape. Rather than simply depicting conflict, the song captures a state where resistance becomes an unavoidable condition of existence.

The track paints a world where movement grows increasingly difficult. With lead in the feet and iron in the sky, the environment becomes suffocating and oppressive, turning every step into an act that feels like resisting gravity itself. Forward motion is no longer instinctive—it becomes deliberate, draining, and painfully slow.

At the same time, Under the Iron Sky dives into deep internal exhaustion. The battlefield is not only physical, but also a mental space. External reality and inner experience begin to merge, blurring the line between what is real and what is perceived. The recurring question “How did it come to this?” distills the emotional core of the track: confusion, fatigue, and a growing sense of inevitability.

The chorus expands this tension into a multidirectional threat—pressure closing in from above, ahead, and behind. The central figure is not only confronted by external forces, but gradually worn down by their own weakness and exhaustion. In the end, the struggle is no longer directed at a single enemy, but becomes a total, immersive condition where internal and external forces are inseparable.

Musically, the track combines heavy, groove-based riffing with progressive structures, the crushing weight of slow death metal, and dark shades of doom metal. A cinematic approach shapes the arrangement, allowing the song to unfold like a soundscape—layered, immersive, and gradually intensifying toward a suffocating climax. Minimalistic and direct lyricism reinforces the atmosphere, leaving space for interpretation.

Under the Iron Sky is not just about conflict—it captures the moment when struggle itself becomes inevitable.
