Italian hard rock project Andrea Palmieri have released a new single and video for Ironman, a track taken from the forthcoming album Reflections, due out via Sliptrick Records later in the year.
Andrea had this to say; “Ironman talks about the determination and hard work that every person should have to achieve own goals. Everyone should not think that something is impossible to do just because people say that. This vision can be applied in any field: career, sports, family relationships, etc.”
OnDisplay, the dynamic hard-hitting rock duo, have just released their latest music video for the 2024 single “Dig.” This electrifying track, paired with a captivating music video, takes viewers on a dark journey through the tumultuous terrain of toxic love and obsession.
The video powerfully illustrates the destructive consequences of being ensnared in unhealthy relationships. It highlights the often-overlooked personal toll these toxic bonds take, even when friends and loved ones try to intervene and save us from this ‘slow poison.’
Ryan, the frontman of OnDisplay, shares, “We’ve all experienced relationships that were detrimental to us. Often, we only realize the extent of the damage once we’ve escaped. In many cases, we are aware these relationships are doomed, but we stay due to self-worth and confidence issues. We wanted to portray this message in a playful and interesting way in the video.”
Greg Groothedde, the drummer of OnDisplay, adds, “These situations frequently lead to our own downfall. We all know someone in a toxic relationship who allows their partner to dominate their life and lets abusive characteristics keep them trapped. The broader message is to seek support from family and friends without the fear of being judged. You would never feel stuck or trapped if your relationship was built on genuine, mutual love.”
The music video’s dark and creepy undertones effectively convey the mental darkness one might feel when caught in a toxic relationship. The narrative keeps viewers on edge, eager to see if Ryan’s love-intoxicated character can be rescued by his friend before it’s too late.
OnDisplay, relatively new on the scene, continues to impress with their mesmerizing and catchy bangers. Fans and newcomers alike are encouraged to follow the duo on social media and their YouTube channel. Add “Dig” to your playlists—you won’t regret it.
About OnDisplay: OnDisplay is a two-piece hard-hitting music duo known for their intense and captivating sound. With their latest release, “Dig,” they continue to push boundaries and explore the depths of human emotion through their music.
Torture Squad, one of the most renowned bands in Brazilian metal, releases the music video “Murder of a God” Live at Summer Breeze Brasil 2024.
The track was originally released in 1999 on the album ‘Asylum of Shadows’. It is considered as the “embryo”, as it consolidated the band’s composition formula, establishing the musical style and the Torture Squad brand.
The music video was recorded during the performance at the second edition of Summer Breeze Open Air Brasil, mixing never-before-seen behind-the-scenes scenes that show all the band’s feelings at this important show in their career.
This is the first time that a band has released an official music video recorded in the Brazilian edition of the European festival. This release also marks an important phase in Torture Squad, being the first official recording of the song with Mayara Puertas’ vocals.
Mayara Puertas comments on the release: “‘Murder of a God’ is one of my favorite songs in Torture Squad’s entire discography. It brings a message of questioning rebellion that I identify with a lot. In our set, it’s a song that brings a great response from the public, sure to be a moshpit! And that’s what you’ll see in this video, which shows all the energy we experienced at Summer Breeze Brasil”.
“Murder of a God” delivers a new look, with the more modern sound that the band has been delivering, with elements of Thrash/Death and progressive.
Drummer and founder Amilcar Christófaro comments: “Summer Breeze Brasil was epic for Torture Squad. That’s why we documented this moment in the music video. What also moved me was the choice of this song. It’s from the second album, ‘Asylum of Shadows’ , and it represents a lot when Castor [bassist] and I started to get into Torture Squad’s compositions, and hearing it with this new sound is awesome.”
‘Devilish’ is available on digital platforms and in physical version.
TORTURE SQUAD is seen by extreme music fans as one of the most visceral and powerful metal bands in action today.
With almost three decades of experience, with excellent live performances including at the most important metal festivals in the world, the Brazilian group gathered legions of fans playing throughout the country, Latin America and Europe.
In 2019, while preparing the new album, Torture Squad arrived at one of the biggest music festivals in the world, the Brazilian Rock in Rio, where they performed for an audience of 120,000 people. In a cast full of metal legends like Anthrax, Slayer, Sepultura, Scorpions and Iron Maiden, the show was epic alongside Chuck Billy (Testament) and the Brazilians of Claustrofobia on the Sunset stage, with the set covering songs from their entire career TS and Testament Classics.
After Rock in Rio, came the long-awaited tour of Central America, passing through Mexico, Honduras, El Salvador and Guatemala. The highlight was the show at Mexico Metal Fest which Torture Squad was one of the headliners.

Walsall-based rock four-piece Stone Broken celebrate the release of their brand-new single, titled ‘Remedy‘, supported by a short run of UK summer headline shows with UK tour dates as special guests to Delain following in November 2024.
The new track is out now, released by their new label 7Hz Recordings / ADA. A typically hi-energy anthem, brooding in places and euphoric throughout, ‘Remedy’ signals a re-energized spark from the band, heralding a new chapter for an artist that has risen from humble beginnings to touring the US and across Europe with many high-profile rock luminaries, as well as gracing every major rock festival along the way.
The band have once again employed the talents of award-winning producer and former SikTh guitarist, Dan Weller (Enter Shikari, Holding Absence, Bury Tomorrow) for ‘Remedy‘, with seismic results. Vocalist / guitarist Rich Moss explains; “We teamed up again with Dan Weller to create the next chapter of Stone Broken, and whilst in the studio we seem to have captured the perfect storm. Remedy delves in to the struggles and pressures that life can bring, I’ve been quite open about the fact that I have had struggles myself when we have played live shows recently, and this song was a way to write it all down and tell the story. Sometimes opening up about something is the hardest thing to do, it’s even harder to admit to yourself that you are not okay, we just want people to know that they are not alone.”
On their return to the live circuit, Moss is similarly enthusiastic: “We head out on the road on the 19th July to celebrate the release of the new single and we cannot wait to see how it goes down live! The aggression, energy and emotion in this song will bring something new to the live show, and we cannot wait!”

Featuring a mix of slightly older, re-arranged tracks alongside new compositions, Finnish thrashers Mutant Blast are set to unleash their new album “Soulsteeler” this coming September 2024 via Rockshots Records. The album has been meticulously crafted over the last year and a half with utmost dedication. The band’s sound is characterized as ‘Metal thrashing death’n’roll – and heavy!’. This defining style is evident throughout “Soulsteeler”, featuring powerful riffs, good melodies, and strong songwriting aimed at engaging listeners.
“The album is full of groovy thrash metal songs blasting away in high gear! It contains both slightly older, re-arranged songs and more recent compositions. We hope that as many fans of heavier music as possible will find the band and get to hear the end result!” adds the band.
Today, Mutant Blast unveils their latest single and accompanying video, “Final Day”. This track stands out as the slowest and most atmospheric on the album, yet remains intensely heavy.
The band comments:
“The slowest and very atmospheric, but at the same time very heavy song on the album. We wanted to do something different this time. This song begins with a spooky horror movieish intro which leads to stomping verses and a melodic chorus. The lyrics are also set in a horror movie environment; lost alone and the dread of the unknown.”
Track Listing: 1. Satan’s Pawn 2. Alone in the Wasteland 3. Into the Night 4. Black Mass 5. Final Day 6. Acid Rain 7. Mind Control 8. For the Sake of Humanity 9. Prowler (Iron Maiden cover)
Italian Symphonic Death Metal maestros FLESHGOD APOCALYPSE have released the latest single, ‘I Can Never Die’, from the band’s long-awaited 6th studio album, Opera, that’s due out August 23rd from Nuclear Blast Records. Accompanied by the stunning music video by visionary director Martina L. McLean, ‘I Can Never Die’ is a crushing sonic tribute to artists and their enduring works.
Commenting on the song, frontman Francesco Paoli states: “Memory is the strongest force in the universe, as it’s the one and only that can give us immortality. It can’t be deceived or shaped to our liking as, in the end, we are what we do and what we leave to posterity faithfully reflects what kind of men and women we’ve been. Some people don’t give the right value to their actions, focusing on immediate profit, and forgetting that our choices have a decisive impact on our and other people’s existence. Especially when you are an artist. It’s essential to remember that everything we create outlives us, it has a life of its own and, once it’s brought into existence, it belongs to everyone and we have no more control over it. Death can occur abruptly any time and there’s no chance to change what it’s done, once we’re gone. As far as I’m concerned, one of my first thoughts when I realized that I could have died was “who have I been” and “what am I leaving behind”. I recollected my whole life and figured out how much determination, sacrifice and honesty I’ve put into art and that made me so proud that I would have died in peace. That’s why we wrote this song, which is nothing but a glorious anthem for all those who commit their existence to art in the purest possible way.“
Director Martina L. McLean adds about the music video: “‘I Can Never Die’ is the third video created by me and my team, Sanda Movies, in collaboration with Fleshgod Apocalypse, for the Opera cycle. For a song with such a profound and universal meaning—a true anthem to the value of art and the artist—I wanted to contribute to the visual aspect by creating an experimental video, entirely guided by inspiration, lots of different approaches, techniques, and obviously too many of hours of editing. Drawing from the infernal and chaotic masterpieces of Hieronymus Bosch, but ranging through styles and times, the band brings to life infinite, hypothetical paintings. As always, my applause goes to the band, who always give their best, both in the most extreme sets and in those where everything is left to the imagination.”
