Mahan Abdollahi returns with his new song “Form No.3” combining progressive rock with Iranian folk elements. What makes Mahan’s musical style unique, is his use of traditional Iranian melodies in his songs and the fact that his songs contain vocals but don’t contain any lyrics. He vocalizes melodies on top of his music to add a much-needed human touch while telling a story without using any words. V13media originally premiered the song on June 11th.

Mahan Abdollahi is a multi-instrumentalist and vocalist from Mashhad, Iran, and started his musical journey in 2011. He began to write original music in 2020. He is also the guitarist of the metalcore band One Missing Link. Mahan‘s primary influences are well-known metal bands such as Metallica, System of a Down, Opeth, and Tool. Still, he borrows elements from various musical genres, notably Iranian folk music. Mahan‘s work differs from his contemporaries because of his use of vocals without lyrics. Music fans who are open to new musical experiences, and those with unorthodox views on music will enjoy Mahan’s unique musical expressions.

Originating from Auckland, New Zealand, the unorthodox Death Metal ensemble ULCERATE was conceived in 2000 by guitarist Michael Hoggard and drummer Jamie Saint Merat. Their initial intention was to craft dark, oppressive Death Metal – a vision that subsequently evolved into an innovative, nuanced approach embracing atmospheric and mood-rich elements. This progression was significantly influenced by the addition of bassist/vocalist Paul Kelland, pushing the band’s will for constant development even further.
ULCERATE‘s artistry is characterized by a whirlwind of scything art-metal guitars, thunderous, intricate drumming, and guttural vocal roars which create an overwhelming sense of impending doom. This signature sound was perfectly executed on their first three groundbreaking and highly dissonant albums: “Of Fracture And Failure” (2007), “Everything Is Fire” (2009), and “The Destroyers Of All” (2011), each of which have become milestones.
Recognition from fans/critics and extensive touring brought about a partnership with the esteemed label Relapse Records. The resulting two albums “Vermis” (2013) and “Shrines Of Paralysis” (2016) found the band heading to deeper and darker climes, proving ULCERATE to be at the vanguard of modern Death Metal.
In 2020 ULCERATE joined pioneering French Extreme Metal label Debemur Morti Productions due to a shared artistic vision. The same year marked the release of the band’s sixth album, “Stare Into Death And Be Still,” a groundbreaking exploration of melody, harmony, and power. Despite the challenges posed by the Covid-19 pandemic and limited touring opportunities due to travel restrictions, “Stare Into Death And Be Still” garnered widespread acclaim, noted for its unique mixture of emotive melodicism and crushing darkness.
In 2022 and 2023, ULCERATE were finally able to triumphantly tour Europe, Australasia and the United States, showcasing their unparalleled technical skill and creative vigor as they presented the compositions of “Stare Into Death And Be Still” on stage.

Australian singer-songwriter JEREMY HARRY HARRIS has released his highly anticipated single, “The Falling,” accompanied by a thought-provoking music video. The track is taken from his recently released concept album, “Walking With My Darkness,” under the Epictronic label and distributed by The Orchard Sony.

In this age of artificial intelligence, rapid change and dynamic evolution are inevitable.
Trends and bands come and go with the hyper-speed of information flow. After 10+ years and nearly 700 live shows all across America, the dissolution of vocalist/songwriter Robert Cosgrove’s band Sleep Signals in 2023 gave birth to something new and noteworthy – and in 2024, it emerged as a fully evolved idea.
EYES LIKE MIDNIGHT signifies the dawn of a new era, where his seemingly-limitless ability to create is no longer bound by the constraints of staying within formula. “Starting over has allowed me to be much more dynamic and to incorporate different sounds into the framework of my music”, explains Cosgrove.
Recording 15 new songs in three multi-week, intense sessions at producer Chris Dawson’s Aphiotic Studios in rural Kansas, Robert and his co-writers spent eight weeks writing and tracking the music that would ultimately encapsulate the beginning of EYES LIKE MIDNIGHT.
As the first phase of the band’s live WATCHES are confirmed, more new music and content will be unveiled. Even in the darkest of nights, there is always a glimmer of hope to be found. EYES LIKE MIDNIGHT are cutting through the darkness with a beacon of clarity.

Vocalist Tim King reveals: “This song is based off the theory that the pyramids of Egypt were built in part by help from an alien culture. Diving further into that theory are the lyrics to the song that Cleopatra herself gave birth to alien babies upon breeding with the aliens that visited Egypt during those times. Musically the song has a very melodic and dark atmosphere to it, using clean guitar and spoken word vocals at times. The song features a fantastic solo by legendary guitarist James Murphy (ex-Death, ex-Obituary, ex-Testament).”
The band’s new material follows the sick and twisted lyrical style from Prophecies Of The Conjoined, and continues the story of the alien/human hybrid theory. Diving into more guts and gore than ever before, Origins Of The Deformed does not hold back lyrically.
