Alternative rock sensation Faith Federica Sciamanna proudly presents her latest single “The Chase,” now available through Epictronic Records.

In light of recent global turmoil, this touching anthem serves as a rallying cry for all those affected, urging them to stand resilient against adversity rather than passively enduring the actions of their oppressors. The lyrics encapsulate the unspoken words of a victim, revealing the courage they never found to confront their perpetrator until it was potentially too late. Despite the flicker of hope that cracks through the wall of fear, stifled anger often ensnares us, leaving us in a state of panic and suffering. The track was written by Faith and produced by Marco Chiereghin.

Hailing from Viterbo, Italy, “Faith” Federica Sciamanna embarked on her musical journey in 2006. As the lead vocalist, songwriter, and composer of the renowned rock band, The Shiver, she has shared stages across Europe with esteemed acts such as Papa Roach, Misfits, The Ark, God Is An Astronaut, and Tarja Turunen.

Beyond The Shiver, Faith’s versatility as a multi-instrumentalist shines through. She has contributed her talents as a vocalist, guitarist, and synth player to numerous Italian and international bands, including TWOP (metal), Giuseppe Ottaviani (trance), Andrea Seki (neo-Celtic), and Heich (Irish/Rock).

In 2013, Faith launched the acclaimed brand “Backstage Academy,” synonymous with high-quality rehearsal spaces and music centers worldwide. Her solo endeavors further underscore her musical prowess, with a debut album released in 2021 under Epictronic. Faith’s creative influence extends beyond music, having authored records, and books, and collaborated with esteemed film productions such as “Black Moon” (Fandango) and “Leonardo” (Lux Vide).

Currently, Faith imparts her expertise as a vocal coach, nurturing budding talents, and conducting breath and singing retreats and workshops, thereby enriching the musical community with her passion and knowledge.

KINGSPHERE Present New Song ‘Illusionist’ with Video

KINGSPHERE was established at the turn of 2019 and 2020 in Rybnik, Upper Silesia In Poland. Initially, a two-person project, over time it turned into a full-fledged band that is currently actively performing. Kingsphere’s music is a clash of modern metal with old school melodic death metal, and all this is seasoned with a solid dose of electronics. The band has released two self-produced albums: “Enigmatic” (2022) and “Kingsphere” (2021), available in digital distribution on the most popular streaming platforms.

“Illusionist” is Kingsphere’s first original single since 2022 and the release of “Enigmatic” album. It’s everything our music used to be and more. Energetic, melodic and a bit nostalgic, ending with a boom.

Indonesian CRANIAL DISORDER Drop ‘Compulsive Savagery’ Single

Moshpit Nation is hosting the exclusive premiere of “Compulsive Savagery”, the new single from Indonesian death metal squad CRANIAL DISORDER. Stream it HERE.

The band have signed to Lethal Scissor Records for the release of their debut album “Congenital Depravity”, due out on July 10th 2024.

The fresh eight track offering “Congenital Depravity” marks the outfit’s Lethal Scissor Records debut, and is the successor to their acclaimed “PromoSick 2022” demo. Formed in 2019, CRANIAL DISORDER has brought a breath of fresh air to the scene and has delighted fans and underground connoisseurs alike.

With this album, CRANIAL DISORDER continue to sharpen their sound, which faithfully captures the essence of late ‘90s and early 2000’s brutal death metal. The band’s influences are no secret, but rattling off a list of classic death metal influences doesn’t do justice to the impact that CRANIAL DISORDER achieve with their music, a sound that is as relentless as it is morbid.

The songs are generally aggressive and pummeling, leaving the listener with little or no respite from the assault, but even at breakneck speed, there’s a compositional intricacy on display. Riff is piled upon monstrous riff and razor-wire solos slice, gleaming, through filth as CRANIAL DISORDER bring us a new level of sickening death metal power.

EARTH LUX to Release Self-Titled Debut Album on August 23rd

EARTH LUX will release their self-titled debut album on 23 August on Metalville Records.

EARTH LUX is a new band formed by French composer, singer and multi-instrumentalist Steph Honde and Brazilian composer and drummer Fred Mika.

Both musicians had previously worked together in the band Sunroad.

In early 2023, Steph and Fred decided to form a parallel band focussing on melodic hard rock, but also incorporating some 70s influences.

Shortly after songwriting began, Fred contacted his German friend, singer, composer, producer and multi-instrumentalist Michael Voss (Michael Schenker Group, Mad Max, Casanova) to take over the bass guitar for EARTH LUX.

And, close to the other musician partnerships, such as the British musician and producer Steve Mann (Eloy, Lionheart MSG), who lives in Germany, for keyboards lines recordings, and the last member was completed by the Irish singer Robin McAuley (Grand Prix, Survivor, Black Swan and also MSG).

A short time later, McAuley was suddenly called to rejoin MSG as the definitive singer, replacing Ronnie Romero, who decided to leave the group to pursue a solo career.

Fred contacted another friend, American composer, singer and bassist Mark Boals (Yngwie Malmsteen, Ring Of Fire, Uli Jon Roth) to replace Robin (who had even completed one of the album’s lyrics). So by mid-2023, EARTH LUX was fully formed and hungry for the first album.

The album artwork was created by well-known British designer Tristan Greatrex, who has already worked for Lionheart, MSG, UFO and many other artists.

INSECT ARK Stream Full Album “Raw Blood Singing” Ahead of Release

Ten days before the official release of their new album “Raw Blood Singing“, Berlin-based duo INSECT ARK unveil the full stream. Over the course of 45 dynamic minutes, Dana Schechter (SWANS) and Tim Wyskida (KHANATE) deliver eight doomy, psychedelic and poignant soundscapes filled with unexpected twists and turns. “Raw Blood Singing” is a deeply immersive and darkly atmospheric experience.

Vocalist and founder Dana Schechter shares insights into the creation of “Raw Blood Singing“:

“Writing this album was a new experience – in context for the history of the band, it started out similar to the others: I made elaborate demos by myself, writing and recording bass, lap steel guitar, synthesizers, and electronic drums; I wrote all the arrangements, chord progressions, and melodies. What made this album different was, when Tim Wyskida joined the band, it felt like a new creative chapter was opening as it became obvious that the music would benefit from his ideas, so we decided to see how far we could push the songs. We ended up chopping, rebuilding and rearranging a lot of the material. This process was a huge inspiration for us both and fostered our bond as a creative writing pair. The album concept is based more on our life views than lyrical content; primarily with the idea of impermanence and as humans existing as energy shifting, of retaining a deliberate presence. The actual studio recordings were preceded by my demos, followed by the heavy re-working Tim and I did to refine the material, which included a lot of experimentation. We didn’t rush any part of it, and we worked long days every day in our studio, for about a year.“
