Hungarian extreme groove metal pioneers OMEGA DIATRIBE are ripping the veil off the creation of their pulverizing music video “Stench Of Demise,” which has already amassed a staggering 100,000 views on YouTube!
Dive deep into the inky underworld of “Stench Of Demise” with the band’s exclusive behind-the-scenes look:
“Stench Of Demise” is the face-melting first single from Omega Diatribe’s latest sonic assault, the critically acclaimed album ‘Deviant’. This unrelenting record marks the band’s fifth studio album and stands as a testament to their ever-evolving sonic mastery. ‘Deviant’ is available now under the Hungarian label Metal.hu Records.
Co-produced by the band and meticulously mixed and mastered by the legendary Tue Madsen (Meshuggah, Suicide Silence, The Haunted) at the renowned Antfarm Studios in Denmark, ‘Deviant’ is a sonic rebellion encased in a collectible 8-panel DIGIPAK CD and two vinyl variants. The album features a potent blend of reimagined classics like “Molecular Torsion” alongside a wrecking crew of brand-new anthems including “My Sphere,” “Mindreader,” and of course, the earth-shattering “Stench Of Demise.”
Progressive heavy metallers HALCYON WAY (based in Atlanta, GA) unleash a brand new song off their forthcoming EP “Night Crawling”, due out May 31st on Agonia Records. The track can be found on streaming platforms, and on YouTube, below.
“Like just about every band out there, the pandemic was a huge kick in the dick for Halcyon Way, and we had a lot of tours canceled or postponed,” comments guitarist Jon Bodan. “We had a period of serious writer’s block that we finally punched through and we’re hard at work on a new record for a 2024 release. However, we decided to have some fun recording a cover version of Night Crawling by Miley Cyrus and we decided to release an EP with that as well as 2 more tracks. So we hope you enjoy the new tunes and we will see you on the road soon!”
HALCYON WAY is the ultimate example of blue-collar work ethic, self-reliant bootstrapping, and hard work & perseverance in spite of nearly insurmountable odds. The award winning band has released four albums worldwide, performed on 4 continents, and about 20 countries and counting. The band has toured extensively with the likes of Saxon, Sabaton, Queensryche, Fates Warning, Fozzy, Skid Row, U.D.O., Delain, Geoff Tate’s Operation: Mindcrime and most recently Metal Church (2018’s North American tour). HALCYON WAY‘s sound cannot be neatly slotted into any sub-category of metal. It can be described as heavy, catchy, technical, progressive and above all, focused on strong songcraft. From Megadeth to Dream Theater, to Testament and Chimaira – HALCYON WAY draws influences & inspiration from many metal bands. Their last installment – 2018’s “Bloody But Unbowed” – pleased the fans with a magnitude of catchy hooks, vocal harmonies a la King’s X or Stryper, and heavy, technical, yet ultimately accessible instrumentation.
The new EP “Night Crawling” was mixed and mastered by Mark Lewis (Whitechapel, Trivium, Bad Wolves). The song “Night Crawling” was mixed by Zach Householder.
Tracklisting: 1. Night Crawling (Miley Cyrus cover) 2. Insufferable 3. Stand for Something

German death metallers RISE OF KRONOS released their brand new single “Olympic Warmachine“. The song is taken from the new album Where The Gods Return, which will be released on August 2nd.
Singer and guitarist Tom states: ”Olympic Warmachine is about discovering your own abilities, your own strength. It’s a song of encouragement in retrospect. My 16-year-old self wouldn’t have analysed it the same way, but when we re-release the song today, I fully stand behind the motivational nature of the song. Back then, I was fighting this battle with myself. The battle of my own dissatisfaction with myself. I’m sure many people can relate to that. The music gave me a lot of support along the way. So, it’s much less about a “real” battle than a battle with yourself. Challenging yourself and taking one step at a time – on the way to become an “Olympic Warmachine” yourself.”
“Olympic Warmachine” is out now on all major streaming platforms.

About the band:
RISE OF KRONOS was born in 2021 from a former band called Surface. After 11 years of hard work, countless concerts, three records and a lot of sweat, blood and tears Surface decided to start a new chapter. As they were (and are) close friends, they wanted to stay together but walk a new, even more, professional path. They needed to stand up and – finally – take each and every fan with them to Olympus. The decision for a new name was born quite early on their journey to a new concept. Somehow Surface did not fit to the music anymore and had to be replaced, but on the other hand, those four friends want to keep the link to their 11 years of music and their amazingly loyal fans – to their so-called Titans. Consequently, they named themselves after their 2015 released record “Rise Of Kronos”. RISE OF KRONOS is a hymn of praise to the past years, their fans as well as a brand-new concept with a new image and new musical influences. Dark, modern and straightforward death metal with the tendency to progressive metal, Swedish death and hardcore – this is what RISE OF KRONOS stands for. Combining Greek mythology and an impulsive live show, they are ready to take the lead to Olympus – now.
RISE OF KRONOS are:
Tom Robinson – Guitar, Vocals Tim Broscheit – Bass,Vocals Jhonnie Ritter – Guitar Marco Bechreiner – Drums

BOKASSA about the new album “All Out of Dreams”: “All Out Of Dreams is an album where the feeling of resignation is present on several of the album’s tracks. Whether it deals with one’s own failures, maybe you feel the system failed you, perhaps because of failed government policies, or that you’ve just given up on it all.
The common denominator is that everyone you encounter, or hear from in the lyrics have lost hope, which is something the album’s title – All Out Of Dreams – alludes to.
The name of the album could also be seen as a direct reference to our own career, and the dream of owning our own private island in the Pacific. Unfortunately the masses have yet to develop good taste in music, so that dream is rather non-existent at this time.”
ABOUT BOKASSA BOKASSA have made a name for themselves with their brand of hard-hitting, melodic, catchy punk and stoner rock, right from their attention-getting, first full length, Divide & Conquer (2017). During the Worldwired tour with METALLICA (for which they were handpicked by Lars Ulrich), the band released the critically acclaimed Crimson Riders (2019). In 2020, they followed up by releasing a digital EP, Live At The BBC, from their BBC Radio 1 live session at London’s legendary Maida Vale studio, and were nominated for a Norwegian Grammy as “Breakthrough Of The Year”. In 2021, BOKASSA won the Norwegian “Bendiksprisen” award and released their explosive third album Molotov Rocktail.
With extensive further touring under their belt with the likes of Mastodon, Baroness, and Judas Priest and Therapy?, not to mention performing at some of the world’s biggest festivals (Wacken, Hellfest, Download, Rockfest, Øya, Stavern, Tons of Rock and more), BOKASSA have continued to capture the hearts and minds of thousands across the world.
Portugal’s Downfall Of Mankind are a modern metal powerhouse that incorporates a myriad of eclectic influences to create a propulsive metallic beast. Their brand new track, ‘Purgatory,’ perfectly showcases the new, unique dynamics added into their song-writing, which results in an aggressive, yet memorable banger. This song also marks the start of the band’s new partnership with Seek and Strike, leading into the release of their new, full-length album, Purgatory, which is set for a 14th June release.
The album was co-produced by Matthew K. Heafy (Trivium) with Heafy also performing on ‘Purgatory,’ as well as making an appearance in the video.
Producer Matt Heafy commented: “Downfall Of Mankind will be juggernauts of the heavy music scene in no time. Mark my words.”
Downfall Of Mankind commented: “Excitement isn’t enough to describe how big signing this deal was for us. The fact that our work is seen and recognized by Seek & Strike is a huge step in our career. Their roster is nothing short of incredible and we were very interested from the way they approached us and set goals. They really put the right mindset into what we want to achieve and we as a band feel extremely supported.
“We felt that ‘Purgatory’ was a perfect introduction to the new album, due to the fact that it features most of the new elements added to our sound (clean vocals, more melody, hooks, etc), while keeping the same brutality and rawness that our fans are accustomed to hearing. This song is about paranoia. How the voices inside your head won’t stop and how it consumes you from the inside in a very brutal way. You will find that the main theme of this album, lyrics wise, is all connected to aspects of the overall human psyche. It’s something that all of us are interested in and I believe the lyrics were written perfectly to translate that. The video’s theme is based around frenetic energy and how people harness/handle it.
“We already consider our music very interesting and diverse, but we wanted to push ourselves even more this time. That’s how it should be. We are all very creative and have wide varieties of influences. The writing process of this new record also had a very strong influence from Matthew Heafy, bringing different elements to the table, such as incorporating different instruments from around the world. It really brought a different essence into this record and we couldn’t be more excited for the world to hear it.
“Our sound is always evolving and we strive to keep it diverse and exciting. We have groove, lots of melody, heavy breakdowns, gnarly vocals, complex song structures, orchestral sections, etc. What sets us apart from the rest is the fact that we are able to take that bevy of influences and make it absolutely beautiful and unique, without being overwhelming. There’s a moment for everything, so it’s not an amalgamation of things. Think of it as a 10K puzzle. Scrambled it might not make sense, but when you assemble everything and see the picture as it is intended, it’s just amazing and satisfying. We’re not reinventing the genre, but we certainly think we offer something different and our sound will resonate across the world!”
