Dutch black metal solo artist BLACK DOOR is now streaming its upcoming sophomore full-length, ‘In the Shadows of a Funerary Gleam,’ in its entirety via Lambgoat! The album can be heard ahead of its official release this Friday, August 28, at THIS LOCATION.

Pre-orders for ‘In the Shadows of a Funerary Gleam’ are now live via Wolves of Hades! The USA shop can be found HERE while the EU shop is available HERE.

BLACK DOOR mastermind and multi-instrumentalist Vestibulum comments, “The wait is over. I am elated to share that In the Shadows of a Funerary Gleam is unleashed in its full glory. Ranging from lamenting wails and dissonant discordance to triumphant hymns, the album is bound to stir the senses of those willing to open themselves to it. The journey commences as melancholic, entering the mind of lamented decay, continuing in the slow descent in ‘The Stale Humid Mist.’ Wrestlings of a troubled soul will be dissected in its spiritual heights, hubris and downfalls, to conclude with the open invitation to the fervour of self-creation in Promethean Fire. From its blessing and curse, we forge desire!”

Following the spectral path unveiled on its debut album, BLACK DOOR returns more fierce and haunting than ever before. ‘In the Shadows of a Funerary Gleam,’ a work steeped in nocturnal mysticism, sepulchral grandeur, and the lingering echoes of eons.

The cover art was created by Grave Bastard.

07. Under the Yoke of an Older Spite (07:05)
08. An Alignment Foreboding, Written in Pandoric Embers (00:43)
09. Forged by Promethean Fire (07:27) [LISTEN]
Full running time: 00:42:16

Following the spectral path unveiled on its debut album, Black Door returns more fierce and

haunting than ever before. ‘In the Shadows of a Funerary Gleam,’ a work steeped in nocturnal mysticism, sepulchral grandeur, and the lingering echoes of eons.

In the ‘Shadows of a Funerary Gleam’ delves further into the dimensions between life and death, nostalgia and oblivion. From the spectral procession of it’s haunting introduction to the Promethean revelations that conclude the album, these compositions unfold as chapters of a singular journey through the funerary mist of forgotten kingdoms inhabited by restless specters

Drawing inspiration from the black legions and vampiric romanticism, Black Door refuses to be confined by simple nostalgia. Beneath its veil of blackened melancholy lies a flame that illuminates both as a beacon and warning; a fading light that guides the listener through stale humid mists, crepuscular awakenings, lamentations of dying ages, and confrontations with powers older than mankind itself. Whether invoking liches wrested from mortality, ancient celestial names whispered from the abyss, or the tragic gift of Promethean fire, Black Door weaves together a mythology of spiritual yearning and cosmic resignation.

To be released by Wolves of Hades on August 28 on LP, CD, MC & Digital, ‘In the Shadows of a Funerary Gleam’ stands as a fully realized expression of the project’s evolving vision, one that balances haunting melody, strife, nocturnal atmosphere, and triumphant darkness with a reverence for the mysterious and the eternal.

Grammy-Nominated Hardcore Legends HATEBREED Share Title Track from Upcoming Album “Fatal Paradox”

Studied, imitated, but never replicated, the Grammy-nominated hardcore legends HATEBREED drop their long-awaited studio album FATAL PARADOX on November 6 via new label BLKIIBLK. Pre-order it here.

Today, they share the title track — an under-three-minute, groove-driven anthem with the kind of breakdown that leads to bloody noses, bruised limbs, and broken teeth in the pit!

Listen to the song and watch the visualizer here:

Hatebreed have remained a fixture of the hardcore and metal scenes for the better part of three decades. After writing the playbook with their genre-defining releases Under The Knife (1996) and Satisfaction Is The Death Of Desire (1997), HATEBREED continued to carry the banner for metallic hardcore with albums like Perseverance (2002), The Rise of Brutality (2003), and Supremacy (2006) dominating charts globally. In recent years, the band’s undisputed offensive continues with modern records The Concrete Confessional (2016) and Weight of the False Self (2020), remaining fixtures on charts globally. The band’s core values of self actualization, perseverance, and honest living have carried them from backyard and basement shows to festival dominators, selling out shows consistently across the world, effectively practicing what they’ve preached.

Enlisting long-time collaborator Zeuss (Rob Zombie, Accept, Shadows Fall), “Kill Count Increase” is crossover excellence with accelerating speeds, crushing riffage, and frontman Jamey Jasta’s venomous bark inciting crimson flashes of carnage.

Holding no punches, and taking no prisoners Fatal Paradox see the Connecticut-born juggernaut operating at full tilt, bludgeoning listeners with a barbarous blend of breakdowns, d-beats, and dogpiles. Whether it’s the thrash stylings of “Kill Count Increase” or “Total Invincible,” capital H hardcore excellence of “The Carrion Choir” and “Truth Is A Lion,” rage remains the unifying spark to blow the keg in glorious flashes of violence.

FATAL PARADOX TRACK LISTING:
“Kill Count Increase”
“The Carrion Choir”
“Decisions Become Destinies”
“Total Invincible”
“Fatal Paradox”
“Still A Threat”
“Sacrifice Season” (Feat. John Tardy)

CHOPIN’s ‘Berceuse Op. 57’ Gets a Revolutionary Make-Over By MARIUSZ SZYPURA & FENNESZ

Posted by tarjavirmakari on August 27, 2026

Previewing one of Cleopatra Records’ most ambitious (and extravagant) releases of the year, today sees the release of Chopin’s “Berceuse Op. 57,” taken from Mariusz Szypura’s acclaimed Chopin Residue Blu-Ray, as reworked by remixer extraordinaire Fennesz.

It is just one of a series of reimaginings and reinventions include on the full album, featuring some of the most impactful remixers of the age – Fennesz is joined by Milosz Pękala, John McEntire, Blanket Swimming, Jacek Gawlowski and more, with each of the performances present as both a “Deconstruction” or a “Rework.”

Speaking about the remixes, Polish-born artist Szypura explains, “I briefed [the artists] on the concept, sent the deconstructions and let them do what they do. Matthew Herbert built a house/dub out of it, Christine Ott went straight to ondes Martenot [if you’ve never heard this eerie sounding electronic instrument, you will now!], Fennesz did what Fennesz does.”

SINGLE: https://orcd.co/vpbm1k2

Releasing on Blu-ray on August 21, with other formats set to follow later this year, Chopin Residue is packaged as imaginatively as the music!  The CD will feature a six-panel digipak with a cutout circle on the cover and nine individual inserts (one for each composition) so the user can change the cover image by simply inserting one of the 9 inserts in the front panel of the digipak. The vinyl is a double LP in a trifold jacket. It has the same 9 inserts just scaled up to 12”x12” vinyl size.

Chopin Residue has already been compared to John Cage’s 4.’33, but that’s only the beginning, as Szypura continues.

“Chopin is inescapable in Poland. You grow up with him the way other people grow up with weather. At some point that stops being inspiring and starts being noise, you don’t hear the music anymore, you hear the monument.

“So I took the piano out. Not as a provocation, more as a question: if you remove the instrument everyone identifies with this music, what’s actually left? Turns out quite a lot. The harmonic structure is still there, the phrasing, the strange melancholy in the intervals. That’s the residue. The piano was the delivery system, not the content.

“Practically it meant giving the material to guitars, drums, theremin, ondes Martenot, electronics, breath. Nine compositions on Deconstructions, then nine reworks by other artists on the second disc. You can also play both discs at the same time, they were built to overlap.

“For the immersive version this was the real payoff. In stereo you hear an arrangement. In Atmos you’re inside the harmonic space with the piano missing from the middle of it. The absence becomes physical. That’s not a format upgrade, it’s closer to what the piece was always trying to do.

“I couldn’t have done that version alone. Morten Lindberg, Jacek Gawlowski and I are credited jointly as immersive audio producers, and Morten in particular thinks about space in a way that changed how I heard my own material. He treats the room as part of the composition, which is exactly what this record needed. Michael Romanowski did the immersive mastering and kept the whole thing from turning into a spectacle, which was the real risk. Working with people at that level made me rethink what the project actually was.”

And the whole thing, he concludes, “works because nobody was trying to replace Chopin. They were all working in the gap where the piano used to be.”

Turns out that it was a very big gap!

SINNER Say Thank You with New ‘Turn The Page’ Visualizer Video

Posted by tarjavirmakari on August 27, 2026
Posted in: Int. News, News. Tagged: SINNER. Leave a comment

More than four decades into their career, SINNER have received an overwhelming response to their final studio album, Boom Bang Goodbye. Now, the band are celebrating that support by unveiling a new lyric video for one of the record’s most emotional tracks, “Turn The Page.”

Since the album’s release, fans from every chapter of the SINNER story have shown their support – from those who have followed the band since the early days to those who discovered them much later. SINNER would like to send a huge thank you to everyone who streamed and bought the album, shared it, recommended it and, above all, played it loud. Thank you for the incredible support!

Before the book closes, however, there is still one more song to share.

Combining classic hard rock with sweeping melodies and a melancholic atmosphere, “Turn The Page” stands among the most melodic and emotional songs on Boom Bang Goodbye. It reflects on the painful end of a relationship, the memories that refuse to disappear and the difficult process of letting go of the past in order to start a new chapter.

The track is brought to life by Michael Sadler (SAGA), whose unmistakable voice adds a distinctive emotional depth to the song. Hearing Sadler’s finished performance was also a particularly moving moment for Mat Sinner. He was blown away by the way Sadler had made the song entirely his own, singing it as though the story were deeply personal to him.

With 19 studio albums and more than four decades behind them, SINNER have brought their remarkable recording career to a fitting conclusion with Boom Bang Goodbye – an album that celebrates the band’s identity without simply dwelling on the past. Its eleven tracks bring together the melodies, powerful guitars and unmistakable rock’n’roll attitude that have defined SINNER since 1982.

Every story eventually comes to its final chapter. But before SINNER turn the page, they are giving their fans one more reason to crank up the volume.

Boom Bang Goodbye can be ordered or streamed here: https://sinner.rpm.link/boomPR

HORSE OF TROJA Join Wanikiya Record Roster for International Promotion of Three Singles

Posted by tarjavirmakari on August 27, 2026

Wanikiya Record/Promotion is proud to officially announce the addition of the legendary Swedish hard rockers HORSE OF TROJA to its international roster.

A new and important collaboration joins the ever-growing international journey of Wanikiya Record/Promotion: Swedish hard rock band Horse Of Troja, originally from Märsta, officially joins the Italian label and promotion agency’s roster for a dedicated international promotional campaign focused on three of the band’s singles: “No Light”, “Memories of the Past” and “Live, Love and Die.”

This is a meeting between two realities that share the same philosophy: believing in authentic music, quality, passion and artists who still have something meaningful to say.

FROM THE GOLDEN AGE OF ROCK TO A NEW GENERATION
The story of Horse Of Troja goes back to the early 1980s, right into the heart of the Swedish rock scene.

The band originates from Märsta, during a remarkable period in music history when the areas around Upplands-Väsby and Märsta were becoming fertile ground for the emergence of numerous hard rock bands and musicians who would go on to make their mark on the international scene.

It was within this extraordinary musical environment that Horse Of Troja developed their identity. Their sound is deeply rooted in classic 1980s hard rock, combining powerful guitar riffs, memorable melodies, driving rhythms and a strong melodic character. Among the band’s influences are legendary names such as Whitesnake, but Horse Of Troja are not simply trying to recreate a bygone era.

Instead, their music creates a bridge between past and present: a celebration of the great tradition of hard rock, reinterpreted through a modern perspective.

A nostalgic journey, yet one that feels fresh, energetic and alive.

A sound born from the golden era of rock, but created to speak to both longtime fans and a new generation.

FIVE MUSICIANS. ONE IDENTITY. PURE HARD ROCK.

The current Horse Of Troja lineup features:

Henna Murto – Vocals
Niclas Blomqvist – Guitar
Magnus Hällström – Guitar
Pertti Tikkanen – Drums
Lukasz Sobota – Bass

Five musicians. One identity. One unmistakable passion for hard rock.

The band continues to carry the same energy that made 1980s hard rock one of the most iconic and beloved eras in music history. Powerful riffs, unforgettable melodies, attitude and energy: all the essential ingredients are there.

But above all, there is something that cannot be manufactured: passion.

THREE SONGS. THREE STORIES. ONE NEW INTERNATIONAL JOURNEY.
The collaboration between Horse Of Troja and Wanikiya Record/Promotion will initially focus on three singles.

“NO LIGHT”
A title that immediately evokes a strong emotional and darker dimension, perfectly matching the power and atmosphere of the band’s hard rock identity.

“No Light” represents one of the starting points of this new international chapter and will be at the heart of Wanikiya’s promotional campaign for the band.

“MEMORIES OF THE PAST”
The past is an essential part of Horse Of Troja’s story.

“Memories of the Past” almost seems to capture the entire spirit of the band in its title: the connection to a great musical tradition, to the era in which their story began, and to those emotions that continue to live through rock music.

A song that looks back — but refuses to stand still.

Because memories are not only about remembering what once was.

They are also about building what comes next.

“LIVE, LOVE AND DIE”
Three words.

Live. Love. Die. Life, love and death.

Three universal elements transformed into a title that carries the unmistakable spirit of rock’n’roll. The song completes this first promotional journey and will help introduce Horse Of Troja to an even wider international audience. A band that is not interested in simply living through nostalgia, but is determined to continue writing its own future.

WANIKIYA RECORD/PROMOTION: TAKING HORSE OF TROJA TO THE WORLD
For Wanikiya Record/Promotion, the arrival of Horse Of Troja represents another important step in strengthening its international presence within the world of rock and metal.

The promotional campaign will focus on international media exposure, with particular attention to webzines, magazines, radio stations, interviews, reviews and specialized rock and hard rock media.

The goal is not simply to generate numbers or statistics. The goal is to create genuine attention around the band. To bring Horse Of Troja’s music to new listeners. To reach new media outlets. To build new connections.

And above all, to help the band strengthen its presence within the international rock scene.

For Wanikiya, every new collaboration represents much more than a promotional campaign. It is a partnership. It is a shared journey. It is the desire to build something that can grow and last over time.

A BAND THAT STILL HAS SOMETHING TO SAY
Horse Of Troja prove once again that true hard rock does not belong to just one era.

Genres evolve. Technology evolves. The way people discover and listen to music evolves. But when you have great riffs, powerful melodies, energy and passion, rock still works. And Horse Of Troja demonstrate exactly that with a musical identity capable of embracing tradition without becoming trapped by it.

The band has already received strong recognition from the rock community, with critics describing Horse Of Troja as “one of the highlights of the genre this year”, encouraging fans of the genre to discover their music.

Now, together with Wanikiya Record/Promotion, a new challenge begins: to introduce Horse Of Troja to an even wider international audience.

THE JOURNEY STARTS NOW
Horse Of Troja joining the Wanikiya roster marks the beginning of a new chapter.

Three singles. A band with a remarkable history. A new international partnership. And one very simple mission: Keep the Rock Alive.

Wanikiya Record/Promotion proudly welcomes Horse Of Troja to its international roster and looks forward to building this new chapter together.

The journey has just begun.

And this time… the horse is ready to run.

HORSE OF TROJA
Henna Murto – Vocals
Niclas Blomqvist – Guitar
Magnus Hällström – Guitar
Pertti Tikkanen – Drums
Lukasz Sobota – Bass
