Forget about everyday life and step into an adventurous fantasy world – that’s what Hällas want for their audience to experience. The Swedish quintet craft epic fantasy-themed concept albums filled with adventurous twin guitars, vintage synths, and mystical storytelling, carving out their own genre of adventure rock.

Their album Panorama is Hällas‘ fourth full length release. While  staying true to their signature sound and lyricism, it may very well be the most varied and complex so far.

In one way, Panorama sounds familiar: an imaginative hybrid of progressive 70s rock and heavy metal with echoes of both folk and psychedelia, along with conceptual content. In another sense, you have not quite heard a record like this from Hällas before. The self-confidence has never been as evident. Influences from different directions collide, and sometimes clash, contributing to the feeling that the expected instead culminates in wonder at what it is you’re hearing.

Hällas were founded in 2011 and saw their initial breakthrough with their first full length album, Excerpts From A Future Past (2017), and its hit single ‘Star Rider’. Building on their initial success, Hällas released their sophomore album Conundrum in 2020, garnering them a Swedish Grammy nomination. The album trifecta was complete with the release of Isle of Wisdom in 2022, widening their repertoire even further.

With each release, the band have cultivated a cult following in the modern prog and hard rock scenes around the world. With their cinematic storytelling and timeless sound, Hällas has been touring far and wide-playing sold out shows all over Europe, as well as North and Latin America. Regardless of where, Hällas capture their audience with their own adventure rock universe coming to life on stage.

With their new album Panorama, Hällas both consolidate and expand the image of what the band is – but also what rock can be. This time, different perspectives in a scenario are explored regarding whether humanity is capable of understanding a viewpoint other than their own. It reflects our time but is, in typical Hällas fashion, staged in a fictional, distant world.

Track list:
1. Above the Continuum
2. Face of an Angel
3. The Emissary
4. Bestiaus
5. At the Summit

FROZEN CROWN Release Goo Goo Dolls Cover ‘Iris’ with Music Video

The release of their new album imminent, FROZEN CROWN go extra catchy with a cover of “Iris”: originally by American alternative rock band Goo Goo Dolls, this 1998 track became an international superhit. FROZEN CROWN take its power and make it power metal, covering the entire spectrum from waltz-time ballad to high-speed drums and dual vocals from lead singer Giada “Jade” Etro and Federico Mondelli full of pathos. “I just want you to know who I am” should be a given thing hereafter!

The accompanying album, The Legend of the Six Kings, will be out tomorrow, October 2, 2026 via Napalm Records. Later this month, the band will embark on a tour supporting Beast in Black. Starting in London, they make their way through Europe and conclude their run four weeks later in Stockholm.

Giada “Jade” Etro about “Iris”:
“As the last single before the album release, this video plays an important role documenting the amazing time we had during our first North American tour, supporting KAMELOT with VISIONS OF ATLANTIS. We played ‘Iris’ every night (together with the new album singles), and we were impressed by how strong the emotional impact was on the hundreds of people having these lyrics and this melody already cemented in their DNA. It was an amazing moment we were able to share together with old and new fans.”

The legend starts: FROZEN CROWN head into their very own age of gold with The Legend of the Six Kings, coming October 2, 2026 via Napalm Records. Taking a more narrative approach than previous releases, their sixth album sends the Italian band on an epic quest. The ten brand-new heavy power metal tracks expand their dynamic repertoire into a slightly darker, but nevertheless illustrious, direction. With lead vocalist Giada “Jade” Etro changing her formerly cheerful approach to claim the sinister titular frozen crown, the band shows its true form with this straightforward punch of a record.

The Legend of the Six Kings has FROZEN CROWN take the throne deserving of their band name. A powerful work of rousing heavy power metal and massive vocal arrangements, the six-piece delivers a glorious performance filled with energetic melodies and catchy choruses. The Legend of the Six Kings matures the band’s trademark sound and makes sure that these six kings and queens will remain what the title states: legends. The album is open for pre-order now—find various formats below.

FROZEN CROWN about The Legend of the Six Kings:
“With our sixth album—our second on Napalm Records—we continue our search for the quintessential FROZEN CROWN tune, distilling the key elements of our sound and style into increasingly concise and straightforward songs, stripping away all unnecessary frills.
The Legend of the Six Kings draws directly from our debut album The Fallen King, continuing the saga of the Kings and the Tyrant, as we are—thanks to a brilliant newly extended team—finally able to do justice to what we had in mind with the original concept of the band. The visionary genius of Raoul Noise (the video maker behind all our new videos and band photos), the masterful craftsmanship of Daria Gislon (who designed and built the throne and the literal ‘frozen crown’) and of course the outstanding artistic talent of Sheila Franco (who hand painted our album cover art) gave life to the vibrant, obscure, frozen world we had in mind since the very beginning of the band, somewhere between J. R. R. Tolkien’s harmonious and regal aesthetics and Robert E. Howard’s brutality.
The Legend of the Six Kings brings not only new visuals, but also an empowered sound, with the young war hearts getting older on the battlefield and becoming an increasingly leading force of the Crown (with drummer and multi-instrumentalist Niso Tomasini becoming a more integral part of the songwriting together with singer Giada ‘Jade’ Etro and mastermind Federico Mondelli) and new warriors joining our ranks (Aleksandra Stamenkovic and her scorching, old school, abrasive guitar leads).
This sixth album depicts the strength of our six band members, and our personal idea of Power Metal infused in ten catchy tracks touching the most varied nuances of the genre, from raw and uncompromising Speed Metal, to the sumptuous magniloquence of Symphonic Metal, to the occasional linear chaos of Melodic Death Metal, but always sounding as FROZEN CROWN as ever!”

The speedy opener “Lightning in the Sky” situates the band on a battlefield, swords shining bright and fire in their eyes, setting the theme for the rest of the album on which FROZEN CROWN deal blow after winning blow. “Who Wants to Burn in Heaven” determines the direction the band takes with their campaign: the choir-powered, groovy song illustrates Hell as the realm of their eternal rule, calling on their legions to join in on their chants live. The following epos, “Reborn”, is a powerful anthem of steadfastness as well as a bolstering tale about team spirit. “The One” continues the theme of The Legend of the Six Kings being inspired by Tolkien’s masterpiece “The Lord of the Rings”, wrapping the band in mysterious darkness with sweeping songs shining bright. Here, FROZEN CROWN also show magnificent instrumental abilities through a majestic guitar solo where the three guitars intertwine, beautifully harmonizing together.  Going extra catchy, the Italian band slides in a cover of “Iris”: originally by American alternative rock band Goo Goo Dolls, this 1998 track became an international superhit. FROZEN CROWN take its power and make it power metal, covering the entire spectrum from waltz-time ballad to high-speed drums and vocals full of pathos. “I just want you to know who I am” should be a given thing hereafter! “Winter Hearts” contrasts this venture into the mainstream instantly with easily recognizable heavy riffs to start, growls to hammer in the message, and a chantable chorus to close the deal—a grand track, reminiscent of the band’s classic songs from their 2018 debut, The Fallen King. The epic storytelling continues throughout melancholic “River of Time” and assertive “Through the Fire”, singalong potential included. “To the Stars” gifts The Legend of the Six Kings additional live character before the title track, “The Legend of the Six Kings”, rises to full glory. Nearing epic melodic death metal in its growled verses, the song is another duet between Jade and guitarist Federico Mondelli, who adds fierce growls and clean vocals.

Behold, ‘Reitermania’ is spreading: German genre veterans DIE APOKALYPTISCHEN REITER sign with Napalm Records! The band from Thuringia has been a constant in the scene for over 30 years – in Germany as well as elsewhere due to English lyrics in their early years. Teaming up with the Austrian label juggernaut is a logical next step.

The band is currently working on its 13th studio album. But before they let their latest riff steamroll and hymnic choruses loose upon their host, DIE APOKALYPTISCHEN REITER embark on their “Schrei!Nachten” Tour, which has become a regular in the post-Christmas program. Between the holidays and New Year’s, the band is celebrating their discography alongside Robse and Disillusion – find all tour dates below.

DIE APOKALYPTISCHEN REITER about the Signing:
“It is sealed: DIE APOKALYPTISCHEN REITER join Napalm Records! A new chapter begins – and we couldn’t be happier. The ink has only just dried on the contract, and we have long been working on what it has always been about for us: new music.
For almost two years now, our next studio album has been growing. Countless hours, our lifeblood, sweat, doubts, euphoria – and of course a lot of Reitermania are already a part of it. It will be yours in the summer of 2027. And we can’t wait to have you listen to what we have been working on for so long.
Before diving head first into the final studio sessions, we’re set to go nuts with you once more. More sweat, more mania, another round of that special energy between the stage and the audience, before taking the last steps towards the new album.
The journey continues. Louder. Wilder. Reiter.”

Napalm Records Senior A&R Sebastian Münch about the Signing:
“The REITER have been a part of my life for as long as I can remember – for me, they’re one of the most important German metal bands of all times. I’m excited that we can now be part of their journey as a label, support the band, and help them reach even bigger goals. Welcome to the Napalm family!”

THE ANIX Signs Multi Album Deal with FiXT + Releases New Single ‘If You Feel Nothing’

Posted by tarjavirmakari on October 2, 2026
Posted in: Int. News, News. Tagged: THE ANIX. Leave a comment

The Anix announces his return to FiXT with a new multi-album deal, marking the continuation of a long-standing relationship with the label and the beginning of a new chapter for The Anix, with new music on the horizon.

The announcement arrives alongside his latest single, “If You Feel Nothing,” a fusion of alternative rock and electronic elements that balances melancholic atmospheres with energetic rock. Built around a moody soundscape, brooding synths, aggressive guitar riffs, and driving rhythms, the track explores the tension of a one sided attraction and the fear of falling for someone who may not feel the same.

Intense and emotionally charged, “If You Feel Nothing”  showcases The Anix’s signature style: dark, atmospheric, and full of raw emotion. “If You Feel Nothing” was designed to connect people to the wave of emotions associated with danger,” says Brandon Smith (The Anix). “The song was written about breaking rules, doing things you shouldn’t be doing and the awareness of the risk involved. Sometimes the desire outweighs the risk, regardless of the cost, and it’s one of the greatest mysteries of being human, our ability and willingness to destroy ourselves.“

The Anix is the multidisciplinary project of artist, producer and designer Brandon Smith, merging the raw emotional weight of ’90s alternative music with a distinctly modern, future-facing aesthetic. Guitars, electronics and atmospheric production collide in a world that feels simultaneously nostalgic and several steps ahead.

That world extends beyond music through Smith’s design label Distortion Dynamics, where fashion, automotive culture, industrial design and technology converge. His collaboration with San Francisco design brand DSPTCH re-engineered the traditional guitar strap using modular construction, magnetic hardware and hi-tech materials, earning features from Hypebeast, Uncrate, and Guitar World.

With more than 30 million Spotify streams alone and a global audience spanning Apple Music, YouTube, Yandex and other platforms, The Anix has built an independent catalog with multiple seven-figure records. including “Renegade” (4M+ Spotify streams), “This Machine” (2.6M+), “My Eyes” (2.2M+) and “Die With You” (1.5M+).

Rather than separating sound, product and image, The Anix treats them as one evolving universe, ’90s alternative culture reconstructed for the future.

LEADFEATHER to Release New EP “Catch The Silvertrain” on 23rd October

Posted by tarjavirmakari on October 2, 2026
Posted in: Int. News, News. Tagged: LEADFEATHER. Leave a comment

LEADFEATHER release new EP “Catch The Silvertrain” on 23rd October. The band also release their exclusive Vinyl release ‘Super Deluxe’ on 5th December, featuring both EPs ‘Roll The Dice’ and ‘Catch The Silvertrain’.

Leadfeather are a UK-based hard rock band blending raw riff-driven energy, cinematic atmosphere and emotionally charged songwriting. Formed in 2024 by guitarist and songwriter Simon Hurts, the band combines the spirit of classic heavy rock with a darker and more modern sound. Their music balances aggressive guitars, dynamic arrangements and powerful vocals, creating songs designed both for loud stages and immersive listening experiences.

Following the strong reception of their debut EP ‘’Roll The Dice’, praised for its raw energy, vintage-inspired sound and powerful performances, Leadfeather return with a heavier, darker and more cinematic new chapter: “Catch The Silvertrain”. The new EP pushes the band further into modern hard rock territory while maintaining the emotional intensity and analog spirit that defined their debut releases.

“Catch The Silvertrain” is a six-track hard rock EP exploring obsession, emotional collapse, ambition, escape and redemption. Built around five explosive rock tracks and one emotionally charged ballad, the EP combines massive riffs, cinematic textures and intense vocal performances, showcasing a darker and more modern evolution of the Leadfeather sound. The project was created with a strong visual identity and a focus on authentic energy, designed to connect equally with modern alternative rock listeners and classic hard rock audiences.

“Queen of the Night” delivers a riff-driven blast of classic and heavy rock packed with swagger, danger and energy. Built on pounding drums, dirty guitars and a rebellious pulse, the track captures the feeling of speeding through neon-lit streets with nothing left to lose. Blending the spirit of 70s hard rock with a modern arena-rock edge, “Queen of the Night” is a high-octane anthem about freedom, recklessness and the thrill of the night.
“Silvertrain” is a classic hard rock track driven by heavy riffs, pounding grooves and a raw blues vintage attitude, mixing the energy of 70s arena rock with a “outer space” psychedelic edge. With its mix of classic rock swagger, heavy dynamics and trippy sonic experimentation, “Silvertrain” delivers a modern take on vintage hard rock without losing its grit or authenticity.
“Wild Child” is an unapologetically ‘right in your face” hard rock track, heavily influenced about the sound of the delta but with the Leadfeather twist on it. It is the classic example of how a music 100 years old can come back to new life when the tradition gets renewed.
“The Answer” is a sonic trip in the 70s heavy rock, spanning from acoustic guitars and sore vocals to the explosive, cutting edge choruses, adding sonic details like cinematic western percussion, deep keys and heart shaking southern influenced lines.
“Troubled Man” is the bluesiest yet the heavier track of the ep, that alternates psychedelic and desert sounding verses with heavy choruses that remind to the ball and chain hammering rhythm. Once again Leadfeather brought their own twist on something that can be defined as “Leadfeather style blues rock”.
“Walk Through Life” is the closing track and only ballad on the ep. A harmonically complex song that explores forgotten sonorities from English and Irish folk to western American music, to orchestral to epic rock ending.

“Super Deluxe”
is an exclusive Vinyl release that features both EPs, ‘Roll The Dice’ and ‘Catch The Silvertrain’, and is only available via the band’s website.

NAGUAL Release New EP “How We Kept The Night Away” with New Lyric Video ‘Gilgamesh’

Posted by tarjavirmakari on October 2, 2026
Posted in: Int. News, News. Tagged: NAGUAL. Leave a comment

NAGUAL release their new EP “How We Kept The Night Away” via Volcano Records & Promotion, a four-track work marking the Piacenza-based band’s return with entirely new material following the album And Once The Storm Is Over, released in March 2024. The release is accompanied by a new official lyric video for the song “Gilgamesh”.

Recorded during the first months of 2026 at Alberto Callegari’s Elfo Studio, with Callegari co-producing the project alongside the band, How We Kept The Night Away features four tracks and approximately twenty minutes of music: “Gilgamesh”, “Hollow”, “If Only” and “Amalgam”. Two of them, “If Only” and “Hollow”, were released in the previous months as previews of the project, paving the way for a work that further expands Nagual’s sonic and narrative dimension.

The EP takes its title from the closing line of “Amalgam” – “We will travel towards the day, telling the story of how we sang to keep the night away” – which becomes a key to interpreting the entire work. The night evoked throughout the record is not only a personal condition, but also a symbolic space shaped by fear, loss, fragility and the need to endure. Opening the record is “Gilgamesh”, loosely inspired by the epic of the King of Uruk and his confrontation with the limits of the human condition, death, friendship and the impossibility of immortality. It is precisely the awareness of defeat that becomes the starting point for a new understanding, opening the way to a broader reflection on what remains of human beings through their actions and through memory. “Hollow”, meanwhile, moves between presence and absence, closeness and disorientation, building a more immediate and spacious sound around the sense of emptiness suggested by its title, with echoes of The Sisters of Mercy, The Cure and early U2. “If Only” addresses human fragility and the difficulty of moving through pain, exploring the thin line between lies, the desire for truth, disillusionment and hope. Closing the journey is “Amalgam”, the track from which the EP itself takes its title. Its final image carries the narrative towards daylight, without erasing what the night has left behind. The album artwork reinforces the same tension: a devastated landscape that turns the arrival of light into a warning about humanity’s capacity to create destruction and inhumanity.

The release of How We Kept The Night Away also comes just a few weeks after “20 Unfashionable Years”, the documentary directed and filmed by Claudio Bianchi and Davide Fortunati, retracing twenty years of Nagual’s history through images, footage and testimonies from people who have shared the band’s journey from 2006 to the present day. More than a simple retrospective, the film tells the story of how music has become, over time, the bond holding together a small community capable of turning differences, enthusiasm and misunderstandings into songs.

Active since 2006, Nagual have spent twenty years moving through rock, hard rock, progressive and grunge influences, ranging from Led Zeppelin, Black Sabbath and Deep Purple to Soundgarden, Temple of the Dog and Alice in Chains. How We Kept The Night Away therefore represents a new chapter in a journey that continues to combine classic roots, sonic exploration and a strong narrative component.
