Non Serviam Records proudly announces the signing of Spanish black metallers ATREXIAL.

Ricardo Gelok, Non Serviam Records owner continues: “Sometimes a promo stands out of the dozen promo’s we receive. After receiving the promo of Atrexial, the first tunes told me this could be a gem. Before i noticed it was listening to the last song already…the music dragged me into the deeper rings of the netherworld ”
 
The Barcelona based outfit was founded by mastermind Naga S. Maleström in 2014. Their debut album “Souverain” was released in 2017, followed by “Gargantuan” 3 years later, getting great reviews during “The Great Pandemic”.
On March 22nd 2024 ATREXIAL will release their long-awaited new album “The Serpent Abomination”, which was Recorded, mixed and mastered by Gerard Porqueres (Heartwork Recordings). The album artwork was created by Luciana Nedelea.

The band explores a modern perspective of Black Metal embracing darkness through razorblade melodies and sorrow atmospheres that entwine under mid-tempo and fast drumming beats crowned by a thunderous voice.

WADE BLACK’S ASTRONOMICA have released their new video for third single “Sirens”! The track is taken from the band’s upcoming album “The Awakening” that will be released on March 8, 2024 as Digipack CD, Curacao Transparent Vinyl limited to 300 copies worldwide and digital streaming/download format.

The band comments on the song: “Sirens is dedicated to a very good friend of ours, Tony Reyes.  He was a beautiful soul that was unfortunately taken away too soon. The loss of life is such a tragic thing we all go through, especially when it is close to you. This song will be felt whole heartedly by those who have had to personally experience such a tragedy. This song is devoted to all that have been lost but never forgotten.”

BELZEBUBS Reveal Animated Virtual Concert ‘The 360° Hexperience’

Monochromatic black metal ensemble BELZEBUBS released their long-awaited 360° Hexperience to all their Indiegogo contributors on February 15th, 2024.
 
Featuring three songs and spanning just under 17 minutes in length, the 360° Hexperience is a “live gig” set in virtual reality, with the viewer dropped front row and center into the audience along other animated crowd members — some of the Indiegogo backers. Other fans appear on the massive LED screen behind the band, and others have lent their voices to the audio track.

The milieu, staging, lights and visuals have all been designed in breathtaking detail by BELZEBUBS author/artist JP Ahonen and 3D animator Oscar Díaz Castillo, guaranteeing it’ll take several encores to find all the hidden gems and Easter eggs of the show. The 360° Hexperience can be viewed with a computer, tablet, smartphone, and many VR goggles, providing the most immersive experience with stereoscopics and ambisonic audio.
 
The 360° Hexperience is a unique tour de force, further cementing BELZEBUBS’ reputation as a groundbreaking group, helmed by Ahonen’s humorously satanic artistic vision. The band is currently wrapping up the follow-up to their 2019 Century Media debut album Pantheon of the Nightside Gods, which garnered wide critical acclaim across the globe. The second comic book, BELZEBUBS — No Rest for the Wicked, will be published by Top Shelf Productions in July 2024, followed by other translated editions. Ahonen is also working on adapting BELZEBUBS into an animated series with Finland’s national broadcaster YLE and Turku-based animation studio Pyjama Films.

THE BLEAK PICTURE Release ‘Lights of July’ Single from Upcoming Debut Album

Finnish melodic death-doom metallers THE BLEAK PICTURE, featuring current and ex members of Autumnfall and Fall Of The Leafe, will release their debut album “Meaningless” on March 22nd 2024 via Ardua Music.

The band’s doomy riffage borders on death metal heaviness, but the music manages to escape from the shallows of repetitiveness continuing in the atmospheric groove traced by the band’s acclaimed first EP, with greater emphasis on dark melodies that wrap the songs in a cosmic shroud of stars. The vocal lines frequently alternate registers, offering haunted wailing cleans, catchier verses and dread-filled death calls. The sound is instantly familiar with nods to the ‘90s, but never sounds retro or like mere homage.

THE BLEAK PICTURE was founded in 2021 as a side project of the duo’s main band, Autumnfall. The first promo was written, recorded and digitally released the same year. In 2022, the promo caught Alone Records’ ear and so it was remixed and mastered with the addition of real drums, and released on CD and LP.
The duo didn’t stop there but begun work on their debut album ”Meaningless” and finally after what feels like an eternity, the album will be released in March 2024 by Ardua Music on CD and on all major digital platforms.
Bleak and desolate, without forgetting beautiful melodies, THE BLEAK PICTURE dives deep into murky waters that can also be called melodic death doom metal.
