Entertainment icon William Shatner is bringing his newly-conceived rock spectacle to Riot Fest 2026, joining one of the festival’s most celebrated lineups alongside Iggy Pop, Public Image Ltd., Morrissey, Blink-182, Weezer, Sex Pistols featuring Frank Carter, The Pogues,The Damned, Jawbreaker, and many more.
Already renowned for fearlessly exceeding (and even contradicting) his audience’s expectations throughout a career that spans more than six decades, Shatner returns to the stage with a powerful live production that transforms both his past and most recent recordings into a full-scale rock experience.

Internationally renowned vocalist and performer Englebert Humperdinck, one of the most enduring and beloved voices in popular music history, will release his highly anticipated new album Faithfully on August 28 via Cleopatra Records. Marking a powerful new chapter in a career that has spanned more than six decades, the forthcoming release stands as one of the most ambitious and hit-packed recordings of Humperdinck’s storied career.
Celebrated as one music’s most recognizable generational icons whose unmistakable voice has captivated audiences worldwide since he rose to superstardom in the 1960s and 1970s, Humperdinck brings fresh interpretation and emotional depth to a dynamic collection of blockbuster songs originally made famous by Journey, Ozzy Osbourne, KISS, Aerosmith and more. The album features a newly composed original track “Always My Love”, adding a very personal touch to the project.

The first single “Drive” was released on July 15th, accompanied by a music video shot on location in West Hollywood, California with a second single and music video for the song “Beth” dropping on August 12th.
The new album will be available on all major streaming platforms, as well as physical formats, including CD and limited-edition vinyl through Cleopatra Records.

About Famous Strangers
Formed in 2023, Famous Strangers are the product of years of shared history within the music scene of Edmonton, Canada. Long before the band took shape, Jeff Kittlitz (Guitar, Backing Vocals) and Brian “Beej” Beejerson (Drums, Backing Vocals) had been writing together, following the dissolution of their previous band project This Is War around 2013. Their collaboration laid the groundwork for what would eventually evolve into something much larger. As the years progressed, Braden Sustrik (Bass Guitar, Backing Vocals) joined through mutual connections, and the trio began developing instrumental material together. During the COVID era, their project shifted direction, transforming into a classic rock cover band. While this period refined their chemistry as players, the defining moment came when Amanda Kiernan (Lead Vocals) joined a rehearsal to jam. Her immediate connection to an original track marked a turning point. What had been an open-ended collaboration suddenly became a full-on band project. At that moment, Famous Strangers found their band identity.
Though officially formed in 2023, the members of Famous Strangers had spent decades crossing paths, sharing stages, and building friendships. This history fuels their chemistry and sound, with each member contributing to a cohesive and dynamic lineup.
Drawing from a wide range of influences, Famous Strangers blend elements reminiscent of Judas Priest, Pink Floyd, Halestorm, Spiritbox, and Metallica, while also reflecting inspiration from Iron Maiden, Nightwish, and beyond. At the same time, their roots remain firmly grounded in the Edmonton scene, drawing influence from local bands and veteran musicians who helped shape their early careers. Today, the band continues to build on that foundation, channeling years of experience, collaboration, and shared passion into a sound that is both unpredictable and distinctly their own.
Brazilian metalcore rising stars AXTY unveil the next look into their forthcoming Napalm Records debut album, The Pain Made Me Who I Am, out August 21, 2026. “who I am”, the record’s pummeling second track, leverages infectiously groovy riffage with some tasteful record scratching, factor in some inhuman growls, death slams, and a truly anthemic chorus and you have the makings of a certified nu-revival anthem.
Frontman Felipe Hervoso on “who I am”: “‘who I am’ is probably one of our favorite songs we’ve ever written.
“It has everything we love packed into a single track: catchy choruses, groovy guitar riffs and drum parts, some filthy deathcore animal noises, and to top it all off, a The Office meme that drops straight into a caveman breakdown at the end.
“’who I am’ also carries one of the most meaningful lyrics on the album. 2025 was a rough year for us, both personally and as a band. A lot changed. Some people tried to tear us down, but we made it through, and we’ll keep coming back stronger, louder, and more determined than ever.”

However, rather than dwelling on suffering, we focused on the role these emotions play in personal growth and self-evolution. Direct, dark and deeply personal, the song draws from real-life experiences, but develops into a broader reflection on the power dynamics that still affect many women in oppressive workplaces ruled by arrogant, incompetent authorities unable to recognise the value of the people around them. “Eroi di plastica” explores the systematic attempt to erase individual identity, suppress independent thought and make those subjected to abuse believe they are not worthy enough. Personal experience thus becomes collective material, taking the form of a denunciation of mechanisms sustained by fear, control and constant devaluation.
Musically, the single reinforces ArtemisiA’s heavy rock and progressive metal identity through songwriting that combines energy, narrative tension and dark atmospheres.
