On May 3rd, New York’s IMPERIAL TRIUMPHANT is poised to release a revamped version of their 2018 album, “Vile Luxury,” remixed and remastered by long-time contributor Colin Marston (Krallice, Gorguts).

This rendition of the album, initially a benchmark for extreme music, represents a new perspective on the seminal record, often hailed as their most accessible. The redubbed video for “Swarming Opulence (Redux 1924)” provides a glimpse of this fresh approach.

“Swarming Opulence (Redux 1924)” is introduced as the first preview, offering a reinterpretation of the track that pushed Imperial Triumphant into the spotlight during the new roaring twenties. Steve Blanco (bass) reflects on the essence of the single, describing it as a exploration of dark intentions that drive individuals to commit heinous acts.

In conjunction with the album release, Imperial Triumphant collaborates with avant-garde artists, including House of Masks (AJ Good, Slipknot), Paleface & Company, Joshua Everetts, and Trash Bag Ghosts, to create the limited edition Masque of Mercury. This collection of highly collectible masks, presented in an extremely limited hand-numbered box, showcases the collaborative opulence of Imperial Triumphant and House of Masks.

Since 2018, Imperial Triumphant has carved out a unique sound, blending eclectic black metal, claustrophobic notions of free jazz, and urban cityscapes as canyons of horror. The band, known for tours alongside Behemoth, Zeal & Ardor, and Voivod, continues to push musical boundaries. Additionally, they digitally released a series of covers in 2023, receiving critical acclaim.

Rock sensation NEW YEARS DAY has unleashed the title track, “Half Black Heart,” from their highly anticipated 5th studio album set to release on March 1, 2024!

Fronted by the dynamic Ash Costello, New Years Day continues to make waves after being featured on Knotfest, Revolver Mag, Outburn, WWE NXT Halloween Havoc, and more. The band’s latest offering, “Half Black Heart,” follows the success of previous releases “Vampyre” and “Secrets.”

In a statement, vocalist Ash Costello shared the inspiration behind the powerful anthem, “‘Half Black Heart’ is my anthem! The concept behind it is simple yet powerful – no one is purely one thing. Nobody is so flawless that they have the right to pass judgment on someone else’s flaws. We all exist as a mix of good and bad, innocence and guilt, a bit angelic and a bit devilish.”

Stream the title track and pre-order the album at https://newyearsday.lnk.to/HalfBlackHeartNe

The upcoming album, titled “Half Black Heart,” features a compelling tracklisting, including hits like “Hurts Like Hell,” “Fearless,” and the band’s 2022 success “I Still Believe.”
New Years Day’s unique sound, blending gothic flair with theatrical bombast, has earned them a spot among the elite bands inspiring the next generation, according to Kerrang! Magazine.

Costello further elaborated on the message behind “Half Black Heart,” stating: “The message is rooted in the idea that ‘he who is without sin can cast the first stone,’ meaning that no one is in a position to judge because everyone makes mistakes.”

ΩBLIVION GATE Releases Third Single + Creepy NSFW Video for ‘Rusty Pipes’

The veins are pipes that act as highways on which we hitch a ride on vices to dead end streets and head-on collisions. But eventually all pipes rust and those familiar highways close, leading our desperation to new risks and greater temptations. We hitch a ride on vices but we always pay a toll, the darkness takes its wage to carry us to our euphoria at the expense of one soul. Hitch your own ride to the next single, ‘Rusty Pipes’, from the third Ωblivion Gate album, “Thrill Kill Noir”.

Listen to the “Rusty Pipes” on music services: https://push.fm/fl/obliviongate-rustypipes

Composed by Matron Thorn
Lyrics by Matron Thorn

Formed as a doom metal project in Finland in 2018 by Florida-born artist and musician Matron Thorn, the music of Ωblivion Gate did, even then, strain classification as it ventured irresponsibly into experimental realms hitherto untraversed. The debut ATMF full-length album, “Wisdom of the Grave”, was a doom metal flirtation with early 90s grunge and gothic rock, setting the stage in underground acclaim for what would eventually sever ties with metal altogether in favor of a gothic industrial flavor on the 2022 sophomore release, “Flowers in the Wreckage of Dreams”, told as the narrative of a young starlet fled from small time life to chase her bubblegum dreams of becoming a star in the city of angels, all to a harrowingly melancholy and beautiful conclusion. Electro beats, ethereal synths, abrasive but purposeful guitars, and sinister vocals mingled with seductive female voices created a dark, dreamlike drive through his dreary South Florida underworld, not unlike Matron Thorn’s hometown goth industrial icons Marilyn Manson at his most fucked up and depressed.

Ωblivion Gate metamorphoses yet again, standing entirely on the merits of their own evolution into something wholly original and brazen in it’s murky darkness on the forthcoming full-length, “Thrill Kill Noir'”; a nightbound meditation of the beauty in our obsessions, in our vices, in our voyeurism, in our depravity, and the prestige in our mastery of it.

A lineup capable of live performances has been assembled to support and elevate the voidlike seduction of Ωblivion Gate to higher planes of euphoria.

Originally released in 2022, VEIL OF THE SERPENT‘s heartbreaking metal ballad ‘Into The Moon‘ now returns as a brand new three track EP!

The band states:
“The song is about a man who enjoys staring at the moon and dreaming about all that he could do in life, as he slowly grows older and the opportunities start to go away. Only in the end does the listener realize that he is in the hospital in a vegetative state and is dreaming of the life he might have if he is born again. Absolutely heartbreaking and such a beauty of a ballad! So we thought it’s time to highlight the song again by releasing this EP.”

The ‘Into The Moon‘ EP will contain the original song, the instrumental version of the track and an alternate version, for which the band teamed up with Israeli singer Moran Magal to create a captivating duet between Moran and VEIL OF THE SERPENT singer JD Stafford.

The emotional three track offering will be released digitally on February 20, 2024. Pre-order or pre-save it HERE!

In order to shorten the time until the EP is released, fans can rewatch the beautiful music video of ‘Into The Moon‘, which was released 2 years ago:

VEIL OF THE SERPENT is a multi-national heavy metal band that was founded in 2021 by guitarist Gene and his son Felix. The two mooted the idea of working together in 2020. One year later they found a very talented singer in JD Stafford who completed the band’s line-up.

VEIL OF THE SERPENT is:
JD Stafford – Vocals
Gene – Guitars
Felix – Drums
