DEATHSCREAMERS present their raw 90’s heavy sound to the world with ultimate pain. The debut EP ‘Suffermore’ was recorded during the Covid-lockdown in an isolated location by the lake Pyhäjärvi (Holylake) in the deep forests of Southwestern Finland.
The band members are well known musicians in the local music scene hailing from bands like Achiote & The Grammers with several album releases on their belts.
The unholy trinity of Janne, Hannu and Timo aka Deathscreamers, summon their raw, uncut distorted sound from the depths of the dark abysses of human behaviour.
Humankind is in its path to self destruction. No one will hear your shoutcries, all is left to suffermore. We believe in Pain.
Deathscreamers are: Hannu Vainionpää, Vocals & Drums Janne Salminiemi, Vocals & Bass Timo Toikka, Vocals & Guitar
Distinguished Derbyshire rock n’ rollers These Wicked Rivers have announced details of their own limited edition signature ‘Lonely Road’ gin, produced in partnership with premium spirits company Mercia Distillery.
Inspired by the track of the same name from their forthcoming album ‘Force of Nature’, ‘Lonely Road’ Gin is described as “a well-rounded botanical gin with hints of rosemary and citrus – best enjoyed with tonic over ice while contemplating what is, what was, and what could have been.”
Production is limited to 200 hand-numbered, hand-sealed bottles. ‘Lonely Road’ Gin can be pre-ordered HERE
The band release their hotly anticipated second album ‘Force of Nature’ on 1st March via Fat Earth Records.
To celebrate the launch of the gin and the new album, These Wicked Rivers will be performing a special intimate acoustic show at Bishton Hall, Staffordshire, home of Mercia Distillery on March 7th. The evening will consist of gin sampling, music and mingles with the band. Tickets are free of charge and available exclusively to those who have pre-ordered Lonely Road gin.*
Vocalist/guitarist John Hartwell says of the track: “‘Lonely Road‘ was inspired by an intense feeling of isolation during the first lockdown, coupled with missing a recently broken down relationship. I usually take a long time constructing songs, thinking of the perfect way to phrase each line. With this song, I just picked up my guitar and played.”
Speaking of the collaboration with Mercia Distillery guitarist Arran Day adds: ”It’s an honour to have our good friends at Mercia turn our sounds into a beverage with the same love and passion that we put into our craft. It’s been such an organic and natural partnership and we are so proud of what we’ve created. We can’t wait to return to Bishton Hall in March to toast the new album with our very own gin! We hope you love it as much as we do.”

Collectively These Wicked Rivers are aiming for the top. Described by Classic Rock Magazine as “The sound of what might’ve happened if Clutch got a bit stoned with Audioslave and Zakk Wylde – and then jammed late into the night”, the band blend subtle blues touches with a hard rock edge, adding soulful vocals to create a sound that is as dramatic as it is exhilarating.
Preaching a simple gospel of ‘peace, love and lampshades’ (a reference to the bands intimate stage set up), These Wicked Rivers have toured the length and breadth of the UK with the likes of Hayseed Dixie, Those Damn Crows, Phil Campbell & The Bastard Sons and Kira Mac, building a devoted fanbase and gaining new fans in every town and city they play. Now signed to the freshly minted Fat Earth Records label, the band are also setting their sights beyond the UK, with a debut European tour set for April.
Event Ts and Cs *A maximum of 2 tickets available per bottle of ‘Lonely Road’ gin purchased, while stocks last. No cash alternative available. Mercia Distillery will contact customers with full event details after purchase.

The nature of the track underlines the themes of inner turmoil as The Plague seamlessly weaves elements of Metal, Metalcore, Alternative Metal, and Hard Rock into a tapestry of sound. Thrashing guitars set the fiery tone right from the start as The Plague unleashes a sonic storm weaving provocative lyrics and a brutal vocal performance delivering a thought-provoking backdrop to the track. “This song is about addiction and identity confusion,” explains The Plague. “The song is about how society with severe technology addiction creates unrealistic expectation combined with extreme relational distance.”
“Man Machine or Beast” is a sonic manifesto that showcases The Plague’s mastery of diverse genres. This latest single is just the tip of the sonic iceberg for what’s to come later in the year from The Plague. Buckle up, 2024 is going to be wild.
The Plague is the brainchild of producer/engineer David Adam Monroe, a pioneer of Future Punk. The Plague’s post-apocalyptic themes portray the struggles of being human, encouraging people to break free of the superficial and to know they are not alone.
David has been playing music from an early age, highly encouraged by his parents, he received an electric guitar at age ten and took off emulating his favorite bands at the time; Greenday, Smashing Pumpkins, and other 90’s rock bands. His career took off at age 16 when a promoter got his high school band on the Van’s Warped Tour.
As a producer/engineer, David has produced records with many artists including Glen Matlock from the Sex Pistols and multi-platinum engineer Earl Cohen. As a musician, he has toured internationally–including 4 years on Van’s Warped Tour— and has played with bands such as Tony Levin, My Chemical Romance, Story of the Year, NoFx, The Used, Yellow Card, Three Days Grace, and many more. ThePlague‘s debut album Hope For the F.U.T.U.R.E. was released independently in 2017.
In 2018 The Plague remixed Circle Of Dust’s “Embracing Entropy” (feat. Celldweller), through artist-owned record label FiXT. The Plague eventually signed to FiXT in 2022, and re-released the debut album with remastered tracks, new art as well as bonus tracks throughout the 2023, ahead of a new album slated for release in 2024.
“My goal with The Plague was to make futuristic Christian rock, when I was producing bands in Boston, my assistant showed me Celldweller and said, “This guy is dope and reminds me of you!” I chased Celldweller’s blend of synths and guitars, and that exploration process helped me discover my own sound. When I finished the record I emailed James (FiXT Manager) with the spirit of a little brother and said, “Hey James, look! I self-produced a futuristic rock record that I’m releasing on my label! You guys inspired this!” By some wonderful miracle he was excited too!” – The Plague

“Straight Down To Hell” delves deep into the emotional turmoil of losing someone to addiction. The lyrics, inspired by guitarist Elias Suhonen’s personal experiences, resonate with the pain and helplessness of watching a loved one struggle. The song’s powerful message is matched by its dynamic composition, showcasing the band’s ability to blend intense storytelling with their distinct hard and heavy rock styles.
Face The Legacy has journeyed from nostalgic rock to a bolder, modern hard rock sound. Their new release features the signature killer riffs and huge melodies that fans have come to expect, bringing a unique blend of ‘80s hard rock, ‘90s grunge, and contemporary rock influences.
With less than a week before the launch of their brand-new studio album, Back In Time, one of Europe’s most buzzed about underground rock bands THE HILLBILLY MOON EXPLOSION share one last single to give fans a taste of what’s in store on release day. “Sometimes Late At Night” is a propulsive track that deftly captures the spirit of the new album, crafting a compellingly dark surf-rock vibe with a heavy dose of gritty guitar riffs and an absolutely floor-stomping rhythmic backbeat that drives the verses. When the chorus hits, vocalist Emanuela Hutter’s distinctively powerful voice shines through and elevates the track from mere melodic rocker to an electrifying piece of punk-infused power!
Bandmate Oliver Baroni shares high praise for Hutter’s performance on the track, saying “‘Sometimes Late At Night’ is one of those songs that could only be by Emanuela. Completely unencumbered by genre or expectations. And ultimately that is pure Rock’n’Roll. Where family trauma and punk and art collide.”
Be sure to check out the thrilling video the band shot for the single that both enhances and expands the listening experience.
Back In Time is THME’s tenth studio album and the first new album to be released through their new U.S. label partner, Cleopatra Records, a move that’s sure to bring legions of new fans into the band’s already burgeoning audience. The album finds the band’s creative duo, bassist Oliver Baroni and Hutter, flexing their artistic muscles and incorporating influences from ‘60s garage to surf-punk to psychobilly and beyond with a confidence and maturity that comes with 20+ years of playing. Look for the album to be available everywhere on CD, digital and vinyl starting February 9!
