German heavy metal legends ACCEPT kick off their celebration of 50 historic years with a new version of their classic hit, “Fast as a Shark”, originally released on Restless and Wild in 1982. This new rendition of one of the genre’s most iconic songs features metal legends Phil Anselmo, Kirk Hammett, Mikkey Dee, and Billy Sheehan, alongside ACCEPT members Wolf Hoffmann and Mark Tornillo. This ‘metal supergroup’ performance truly sets the tone for the entire upcoming album, Teutonic Titans 1976-2026, which is to be released on September 4, 2026 via Napalm Records. The album serves as both a celebration of the band’s history and the heavy metal genre itself, in which they played a pivotal and highly influential part. 19 timeless tracks, 50 iconic guests—and they’re starting “Fast as a Shark”!

Wolf Hoffmann about “Fast as a Shark”:
“This song was so much fun! We even re-recorded the intro in a Bavarian oompah style… a friend of mine lives in Bavaria, and he was in contact with one of those traditional Bavarian woodwind outfits, and they recorded the traditional German folk song ‘Ein Heller und ein Batzen’ for us, which was fantastic. We were lucky to get Phil Anselmo on vocals, Billy Sheehan on bass, and of course Kirk Hammett on guitar, which is amazing, and Mikkey Dee on drums, so that’s a pretty nice supergroup, isn’t it?”

Kirk Hammett about “Fast as a Shark”:
“A real honor to pay back the great inspiration ACCEPT had for me!”

German heavy metal legends ACCEPT celebrate 50 years of pure power, bringing together the scene’s A-list musicians for a landmark release. Teutonic Titans 1976–2026 stands as a definitive statement of the band’s legacy, forged in steel and driven by unmistakable riffs. Arriving September 4, 2026, via Napalm Records, the album delivers some of the most iconic songs ever written in heavy music.

Led by guitarist Wolf Hoffmann, the longtime architect of ACCEPT’s sound, the band is joined by a staggering 50 guests across 19 reimagined versions of their biggest tracks. Teutonic Titans 1976-2026 is ACCEPT’s most ambitious and star-studded release to date, reaching far beyond the borders of their country of origin. Featuring the biggest names in heavy music paying tribute to the German icons, the record cements the band’s standing on the global stage. This is more than an album; it is a manifesto of metal! Pre-orders are now available in various exclusive formats.

Wolf Hoffmann about Teutonic Titans 1976-2026:
“There is no better way to celebrate this 50-year anniversary than to have our musical peers, friends, and inspirations come together with us to record these classic ACCEPT songs, which I am honored and proud to share with the World. I hope everyone enjoys this very special record as much as we all enjoyed making it.”

Progressing through albums from their formative years, from I’m a Rebel (1980) to Eat the Heat (1989), ACCEPT present their songs with an all-new, all-star lineup, alongside the signature voice of Mark Tornillo and Wolf Hoffmann’s unmistakable riffs. By enlisting a Who’s Who of metal, no two songs on Teutonic Titans 1976-2026 are the same. Every track features a different combination of vocals, guitars, bass, and drums, giving each classic a fresh edge.

Tobias Forge delivers a commanding performance on the track “Save Us” (I’m a Rebel, 1980), joined by Ray Luzier on drums. “Balls to the Wall” surges with the powerful range of Metal God Rob Halford, alongside the guitar work of Matthias Jabs, while the reimagined “Love Child” is elevated by Billy Corgan and David Ellefson (both songs from Balls to the Wall, 1983).

Other guest stars on ACCEPT’s extraordinary release include K. K. Downing, Sebastian Bach, Bobby Blitz, Hansi Kürsch, Chris Jericho, Ralf Scheepers, Ola Englund, and Jeff Loomis. The album also features a re-recording of “Hellhammer” (Eat the Heat, 1989), performed by ACCEPT’s current lineup: Wolf Hoffmann, bassist Martin Motnik, guitarist Philip Shouse and drummer Christopher Williams, joined by Jason McMaster on vocals. The album masterpiece was produced, mixed and mastered by legendary producer Zeuss.

XANDRIA Unveil New Single & Video ‘Colours’ from Upcoming Album

German symphonic metal band XANDRIA presents the second single from their upcoming album. “Colours” is another highlight in their 30-year-spanning career. Throughout the song, a large classical choir takes center stage, while cinematic orchestral arrangements collide with modern metal riffing. Meanwhile, singer Ambre Vourvahis showcases her impressive vocal range, switching between multiple styles as effortlessly as she is convincing; a skill rare in symphonic metal as well as elsewhere. From harsh vocals all the way to operatic singing, “Colours” creates a sound that is both grand and contemporary—a powerful showcase of what modern symphonic metal can be.

After the latest album (2023) became XANDRIA’s most successful release to date, entering the Official German Album Charts at #9, the upcoming Eclipse, releasing August 7, 2026 via Napalm Records, is taking the band on their most diverse path yet. A journey full of discoveries, it has XANDRIA show their true “Colours” …

Band mastermind Marco Heubaum comments on “Colours”:
“This is the second song from our upcoming album that we are proud to share with you. Together with the first single, ‘The Shannon’s Home’, it offers another glimpse into the many different colours of the album—a journey full of discoveries, unexpected turns, and quite a few surprises. Just as diversity makes our world richer, it also shapes this album. Different voices, different perspectives, different emotions—all part of what makes life richer, stronger and more beautiful.”

Chart-topping German symphonic metal icons XANDRIA will release their new studio album, Eclipse, on August 7, 2026, via Napalm Records. The upcoming full-length features eleven tracks that represent the most diverse body of work in the band’s discography so far: every song has its own identity—a journey full of discoveries—yet they all belong to the same world. Classic, ‘80s-inspired metal riffs stand alongside low-tuned modern metal guitars, cinematic orchestral sounds meet Celtic folk influences, and dark electronic elements blend with intimate rock moments, even including a guitar solo that owes more to Pink Floyd than to any metal genre.

Eclipse marks XANDRIA’s most outspoken and cinematic album so far: a dark, colourful, and defiant statement for reason, empathy, and democracy in times when all three are under attack, brought to life by a band fueled with new energy, new ambitions, and a clear artistic direction, aiming higher than ever and not looking back!

Pre-order your version of Eclipse NOW

While The Wonders Still Awaiting (2023) marked the rebirth of XANDRIA with a new line-up—an album that opened the door to a new era—Eclipse goes further. It is more focused and direct, the lyrics are more outspoken, dealing almost entirely with what is happening to our civilization right now. The contrasts are stronger, and the different musical and vocal colours feel even more naturally integrated into the songs. As XANDRIA’s sole composer, Marco Heubaum musically draws inspiration from all aspects of his surroundings: music, stories, and emotions that have shaped him since childhood. It is no secret that film scores have always been another major influence, especially composers like Hans Zimmer and John Williams.

Eclipse tracklisting:

  1. Syzygy
  2. Eclipse
  3. Colours
  4. The Shannon’s Home
  5. The Grand Delusion
  6. Wave of Tanis
  7. Northstar
  8. Masquerade
  9. The Last Generation
  10. The Poetry of the Real World
  11. Lore

As guests, XANDRIA welcomes Subway to Sally’s violinist Ally Storch, who can be heard on “Lore,” while the band’s longtime friend McAlbi is featured on four songs with his Celtic tin and low whistles (“The Shannon’s Home,” “Northstar,” “Masquerade,” and “Lore”). “The Last Generation” features a children’s choir and piano performed by Richard Z. Wang, a Hollywood pianist who has worked at Hans Zimmer’s studio. In addition, the band has once again collaborated with the Sofia Session Orchestra & Choir, known for their work on numerous film and television scores, including His Dark Materials. All songs were orchestrated by two film score composers working in Hollywood: Lukas Geppert, who worked on the scores for Nobody 2 and the latest Final Destination, and Ishaan Tyagi, who has contributed to productions such as Wuthering Heights.

BUTCHER BABIES Release New Single ‘Blame it on the Wind’ with Official Music Video

A Love Letter to the Past:
A Seductive, Emotionally-Charged Hard Rock Anthem Exploring Desire, Temptation, and the Ghosts of Love’s Past

Butcher Babies have released their powerful new single “Blame it on the Wind,” produced by Howard Benson. This marks the fourth release from their forthcoming album via Judge & Jury Records.

The track serves as a key chapter in an album that functions as a deeply personal love letter to vocalist Heidi Shepherd’s past reflecting on the experiences, relationships, heartbreaks, and hard-earned lessons that have shaped her over the last 25 years. It’s a record rooted in self-reflection and growth, honoring where she’s been while embracing the strength and clarity of who she has become today.

“Blame It On The Wind” is a seductive hard-rock track inspired by a late-night encounter in LA. The song narrates a one-night stand, fueled by neon lights and loud music, leading to an unforgettable experience you’ll want to visit for more than one night. The track shifts from a slow burn to a high-energy tempo reminiscent of In This Moment meets Jinjer. Through Heidi Shepherd’s commanding vocals, it captures the restless tug-of-war between desire and blame.

Heidi Shepherd shares:

“There are certain nights, certain moments, and certain connections you never fully shake. ‘Blame It On The Wind’ came from one of those nights that should have disappeared in the morning. In 2012, what started as a one-night stand morphed into a connection that would haunt me for years. A moment that we both knew was off-limits; however, the forbidden fruit continually pulled us back into that first night. I remember it so vividly; his scent, the way he said my name, his bootcut jeans, the balcony in his Santa Monica loft, and that very first touch. This song is about a lust you can’t leave, a denial of accountability, and a laundry list of excuses for following the white rabbit. I think sometimes we blame the setting for the choices we make because it’s easier than admitting someone genuinely got under our skin. That’s what this song is about for me.”

Following a massive global touring run across the United States, United Kingdom, and Europe, Butcher Babies will continue their international trek with dates in Japan this June.

THE LIMIT Release New Video/Single ‘Another Drop Of Blood’

The Limit has unveiled the hypnotic new video for their second single, ‘Another Drop of Blood’, taken from the explosive forthcoming album, Another Drop, set for release on July 31st via Silver Lining Music. Pre-orders are available now at this location

‘Another Drop of Blood’ is a collaboration between Sonny Vincent (Testors) and Bobby Liebling (Pentagram) on a track that offers a powerful glimpse into an album driven by danger, honesty, and genuine rock ‘n’ roll impact. It’s the sound of artists abandoning overthought and expectation and simply following the moment wherever it leads.

“I wrote the music; Bobby delivered one of his most emotionally exposed lyrical performances —raw, direct, and completely unfiltered” comments founder, guitarist and primary song-writer Sonny Vincent. “The track captures the chemistry of The Limit… we are a band operating purely on instinct. No formulas. No calculated game plan. We are just musicians pushing toward intensity, atmosphere and emotional truth in real time.”

Watch/Listen to ‘Another Drop of Blood’ here – video edited and compiled by Johannes Fritsche.

In your face, vital and visceral, The Limit are a super-charged collision of hard-edged genres. The new album, Another Drop is a record that doesn’t sit comfortably alongside anything else: it stands apart. It’s a sound that refuses to sit in one lane, connecting just as strongly with punk, hard rock and metal fans alike, tapping into a shared instinct that resonates across scenes and generations.  There’s sweat, smoke, and grime running through raucous cuts like ‘Tryptophan’, the low-slung drive of ‘Sidetracked’, and the defiant surge of ‘Unchained’. Each track delivered with a clarity of purpose and a refusal to overcomplicate what should hit hard and fast.

Watch/Listen to the band’s recently released single ‘Part Two, Screw You’ here, featuring a blistering guest appearance from Steve Stevens on guitar – video produced by Sonny Vincent and Alex Schwers; edited by Johannes Fritsche.

Another Drop doesn’t just celebrate rock ‘n’ roll, it reasserts its core values. This is music made with integrity, and with a deep-rooted understanding of what gives it life in the first place. In an age of overproduction and imitation, The Limit strip everything back to the essentials and remind you what it feels like when it’s done right.

Another Drop will be released on July 31st on Limited Edition 12” Splattered Vinyl, 12” Black Vinyl, CD Digipak, Digital Download, Streaming and special D2C bundles. Available to pre-order now at this location

TROPIC GOLD Return with New Single & Video ‘Witch House’, Feat. Harpy

Ahead of their Download Festival appearance this month, hotly-tipped Essex trio, Tropic Gold, return with brand new single, ‘WITCH HOUSE’, featuring Harpy, their first for new label partner, BLKIIBLK.

“Witch House explores the all encompassing parasite of an external force consuming and trapping its victim,” share the band. “This force is experienced in many forms, Witch House addresses the relationship and connection between two people, one being the trapped, feeling they’re within a hex they cannot break.”

Listen to ‘WITCH HOUSE’: https://ffm.to/witchhouse

Tropic Gold pull from metalcore, industrial noise, electronic production and modern alternative culture without ever sitting comfortably in one lane. Self-produced and creatively self-driven, the South East trio have built early momentum through a mix of huge hooks, abrasive electronics and the kind of volatility that makes their songs feel like they could completely fall apart at any second.

Support from BBC Radio 1, Kerrang! and Rock Sound has helped push the band well beyond underground buzz, while tours alongside WARGASM, Resolve, Windwaker and Normandie have quickly established them as a genuinely impressive live band rather than just another internet-heavy project.

The material following last year’s ‘SICK TO DEATH OF EVERYTHING’ EP feels sharper, heavier and more immediate, leaning harder into contrast without losing the hooks underneath it all.

With appearances at Download Festival and a stage headline slot at 2000trees Festival this summer, Tropic Gold are starting to feel less like a promising new act and more like a band properly breaking through.
