Vincenzo Grieco: Guitarist, composer, arranger and teacher with more than 20 years of musical experience graduated in pop guitar from the Conservatory of Frosinone, Vincenzo Grieco has now become a reference point in the Roman guitar environment.
In his musical activity he has often crossed different musical genres, favoring an Anglo-American sound and repertoire. Always passionate about Rock Blues, he currently performs with the band “Vincenzo Grieco and T.H.E. Rome Blues Authority” and with the Jimi Hendrix/Stevie Ray Vaughan tribute “Little Wings” and other bands of Blues extraction such as the Nails & Rocks. For more than 15 years he has been passionately dedicated to intense teaching activities through lessons, master classes and video courses. After several musical productions of instrumental tracks and soundtracks (Rai TV, Rai Trade), in 2019 he will debut his first album of unreleased tracks titled “Misleading Lights of Town” and in 2020 with his second record work titled “Outer Space.”

Bestial black/death two-piece ENDLESS LOSS has earned a strong underground reputation for their vicious releases and savage live shows. The band was born in 2015 in the bleak industrial wasteland of Adelaide, Australia. The pair released their first tape “Solitary Starless Beast” in 2016, with Decibel Magazine praising the raw-sounding demo for its “charred black and bestial spirit.” The outfit followed this up in 2022 by heading further into war metal territory with their EP “Bloodletting Narcotic Divination”. No Clean Singing celebrated the release for being “brutally bludgeoning and psychotically violent”. From there, ENDLESS LOSS toured doggedly across Australia and joined other Adelaide metal heavyweights Charnel Altar for the co-headlined Metaphysical Warfare Tour in early 2023. The band recorded nine tracks in the chaotic days leading up to the tour. These songs, which strike hard with poisonous, hypnotic riffs and sharply aimed violence, are to be released on ENDLESS LOSS‘ debut, full-length album “Traversing the Mephitic Artery”. Expect 28 minutes of barbaric bloodshed.

France’s STONE HORNS unleashed their third studio album “Chimaira” since January 26th. The full-length features seven groove-laden hell-bent tracks, that tell the story of an odyssey of being rejected by all and thirsting for revenge. It explores life’s thirst for recognition, whatever its form. Through its various acts, the story continues in different states, colors, and landscapes. A raw, merciless finality that leaves little room for breath in this torment of violence. We’re all chasing a chimera, but isn’t it the chimera that’s chasing us? That’s the question this album tries to answer, combining freshness and warmth, violence and peace, waves, and digressions.
With their headbanging groove, this third studio offering “Chimaira” is a culmination of all the band’s experiments to date. This is the band’s most accomplished album to date, both in terms of composition and production. The band’s long-time fans will be satisfied, but they also hope to bring in new fans with this record, with a slightly more modern production. Each track has its own universe on this full length, but it’s also part of a whole, because like their previous albums, “Chimaira” is a concept album.
“There’s something for every metal taste and color. Rockshots Records is proud to present their latest signing of Italy’s VICOLO INFERNO for the release of their third studio “Circles”, which will be available on all streaming platforms along with CD this coming May 2024. Instinctive, energetic, melodic, dark, and intense, this is the quartet’s most mature and experimental recording to date.
“Circles” like its predecessor dances among various colors of the soul, from the most intimate and convoluted to the angry, to the amused and ironic. The track listing was chosen to guide the listener through a journey. The writing process for this record has been consolidated for years, although somewhat against the current.
“We are “romantic supporters” of songwriting in the rehearsal room. We always start from a vocal line or a guitar riff, and if there is inspiration, the first version is laid down, which is then refined and shaped over time like a piece of wood by a sculptor.” adds the band
Originally producing about 20 tracks, they widdled it down to the presenting 10 songs on the album, those not selected will be used for a future release. Vicolo Inferno hopes that those who listen to this sonic exploration from start to finish will feel the introspective expressions while understanding their interpretation of social criticisms, fantasies, and telling of comical experiences they have lived through as a band. An example track is “Gummy Bears” which is about soaking Gummy Bear candy in vodka which is a fun backstage tradition for them with friends and fans.

“It is said that the third album is canonically the one of awareness; it is certainly the one in which we put more care into arranging the songs, where we experimented with some stylistic figures never used by us before, both in music and in singing. For once, we would like to venture to say that we think it is our best album (although it is always difficult to say which child you love most) for ideas and execution, but as always, the hope is to reach the audience, which will be the judge in deciding whether our feelings hit the mark or not.”
The lead single “Cold Surface”, which the band is presenting today, is the album’s most energetic and complete.
“Cold Surface” is an (introspective) of the difficulty of two people in being on the same wavelength, sometimes ending up being “distant” even if in the same room.” adds the band.

In 1504, an alley in “Forum Cornelii” (Imola, Bologna, Italy) wrote its history in blood: a bloody battle left its mark on the popular imagination and forever transformed the name of that narrow cobblestone path into “VICOLO INFERNO”.
In 2003, the encounter of the two founding members of the band Igor and Marco led shortly after to the release of their first demo “FIRE COVERZ.”
By 2005, the desire to propose original music production began to emerge, and the first 4 songs were collected in the EP demo “HELL’S ALLEY.”
The following years were marked by intense live activity, band contests, and recognitions.
In 2013, the band signed a contract with logic(il)logic Records for the release of their debut album “HOURGLASS.” Live promotion lasted throughout the year, reaching England in March 2014 with 6 dates.
In 2016, with the addition of Wallace on bass, the band completed the composition and recording of their 2nd album “STRAY IDEALS,” once again for logic IL logic Records.
Currently, the band, enriched by the new drummer Renzo Cuomo, has finished recording their 3rd album “CIRCLES,” set to be released on May 31, 2024, for Rockshots Records.

Where there’s smoke, there’s fire! Newly formed supergroup SMOKE AxD has announced their first EP, Vaya Con Dios, will be released on May 7th. Brought together in a haze of ganja and a shared passion for heavy riffs, the trio of hardcore brethren, Lord Ezec (Crown of Thornz, Skarhead), Hoya Roc (ex-Madball) and Sean Martin (ex-Hatebreed/Twitching Tongues), have assembled to create some of the heaviest music of their legendary careers.
Commenting on the impending EP, Roc says:
“This is hands-down, the hardest music I’ve ever written. I never went in on my music, lyrically and sonically like I did on these tracks. And I’m only getting started.“

About SMOKE AxD:
The genesis of Smoke AxD involves the combination of 2 of Hoya’s passions, heavy music and cannabis. Hoya had completed songs and lyrics just waiting to be brought to life. He then focused on what musicians he could get that shared his love of big riffs and big spliffs. Hoya had been wanting to do a band with his close friend and brother, Lord Ezec (Crown of Thornz, Skarhead) for years. No convincing was needed, Ezec was immediately on board. Next would come the addition to one of his regular smoking partners on the road over the years, guitarist, Sean Martin (Hatebreed, TwitchingTongues). On guest drums Riggs Ross (Hatebreed, Madball) and Dimi Douvas (Crown of Thonrz, Stillsuit). Hoya then contacted producer extraordinaire, Zeuss to help produce and record the project. With everything in place, the band got together to record the EP, Vaya Con Dios, which will be released on May 7, 2024.
