The song “Flagrants Délices” is a testament to 22 FOR SILICON ALONE’s distinctive style. It features an enthralling ostinato, with a wild violin, frenzied piano, and psychedelic guitar intertwining to create a sonic tapestry that will transport listeners to another realm. At the forefront, Alexis delivers his commanding vocals, infusing the composition with raw power and emotion. The lyrics, explored in French, delve into the contrast between absurd poetry and stark reality. The title itself cleverly plays with the French idiom “être pris en flagrant délit,” which translates to “to be caught in the act,” and the notion of delight. The song leaves us with a celestial taste of tango, inviting listeners to lose themselves in its intoxicating rhythms.

Directed, shot, and edited by the visionary Alexis Pfrimmer, the “Flagrants Délices” lyric video is a work of visual artistry that breathes life into the music. Produced by Lachesis Records in collaboration with Le Voyage des Koumoul, this production showcases the exceptional talents of a dedicated team. Head of Production and Assistant Director, Floriane Desperier, flawlessly brings the creative vision to life, while the stunning performances of Eliana Stragapede and Alexis Pfrimmer add depth and intrigue to the narrative. The artistry is further elevated by Pierre-Louis Graizon’s stunning headpiece, Jean Malbezin’s skillful makeup artistry, and the technical expertise of William Gouzien (drone operator) and Nicolas Nouhaud (camera operator). The collective effort results in a visual masterpiece that perfectly complements the song’s essence.

22 For Silicon Alone has been praised for its unique sound and captivating live performances. Their music is known for pushing boundaries and challenging conventions, making them a must-see act for fans of experimental music.

“Flagrants Délices” is a track taken from 22 for Silicon Alone’s highly acclaimed album, “Only Dark Matters,” released via Epictronic Records.

“In ancient times gods often, in form of beasts, joined carnally with beautiful women, then giving birth to a monstrous offspring.

Less known as legend, but certainly the most unpleasant, was that of the Gemini of the Gargano. Decimvs and Tiberivs were called. Sons of a meritress and a jackal, they became for years the scourge of the eastern coasts of the Roman Empire. They were called real beasts spitting out of hell. And today, we will tell their story.”

So the melodic death metal band GIGANTOMACHIA describes their new single ‘Gargani Gemini’, out on 22 May via Agoge Records on all digital platforms.

The song, accompanied by a video, is mixed by Samuel Mingarelli and Gianmarco Bellumori and mastered by Ted Jensen (USA, Lamb Of God, Gojira, Disturbed and more).

Gigantomachia is a melodic death metal band from Italy focused on Greek mythology. Chorality and epicity are their trademark. FFO Dark Tranquility, Ex Deo, Septic Flesh, Soilwork and Fleshgod Apocalypse.

9Left Dead recently made the trip to Nashville, Tennessee to record their new EP Love After Death with multi platinum producer Malcolm Springer at East Iris Studios (formerly House of Blues Studio).

The first single “One Last Day” is a pure hard rock heavy hitting love story that grabs you by the heart and won’t let go. It is now available on all platforms via Dead Ned Productions. The full EP Love After Death will be available July 21st.

Stream/Download “One Last Day” at https://bfan.link/one-last-day

9Left Dead is a rock band formed in the small town of Amber, Oklahoma that began as a coping mechanism for lead singer Travis Jones through his battle of leukemia. Writing music about the stories of life, love, loss, and all the beautifully tragic and romantic pieces became his escape.

After pairing up with like minded musician and friend Steven Jones, the duo put together a band that thrived in Oklahoma City and surrounding areas. They went on to win a battle of the bands that would put them on a path to
work with multi platinum artist Cody Hanson of Hinder with whom they recorded their first major album with over 400,000 plus streams , The Wrong Things.

This led to them playing with bands such as Hinder, Pop Evil, Papa Roach, Halestorm, Seether, Three Days Grace, Puddle of Mudd, Candlebox, Scotty Austin and more.

The group has since added guitarist, vocalist, and additional song writer Brad Scott and then Tyler Medley joined the band to play bass.

Exclusive Premiere for Finland: TRESPASS ‘Daggers Drawn’ Official Video

After “Blackthorn”, the NWOBHM unsung heroes TRESPASS are back with a new video from the upcoming fourth studio album of the UK collective. “Daggers Drawn” has the urgency of a band hunger for more – even though Trespass has been active, one way or the other, for the last four decades – with a strong, pounding rhythm section and the twin guitars that are the signature of the group.

“”Daggers Drawn” definitely shows my Thin Lizzy influence”, guitarist, vocalist and founding member Mark Sutcliffe says. “It’s about man’s inhumanity to man and the never-ending ways we have found to destroy each other. And the tragic tendency to pass that inbred hate and intolerance onto our children”.

Today Metal Shock Finland has a pleasure to premiere “Daggers Drawn” official video for Finland, join and enjoy it below:

Trespass was formed in 1979 in Sudbury, Suffolk by Mark Sutcliffe (guitar, vocals) and his brother Paul on drums. The band enjoyed success and critical acclaim as part of the New wave of British Heavy Metal in the early 80s, although it has only released a few singles and an EP – the cult “Bright Lights”, from 1981. Songs such as “One Of These Days”, “Stormchild” and “Bright Lights” have made their mark.

In the 90s, Trespass was back in full action and in 1993 the band finally released their long-awaited debut album “Head”, helping keep the NWOBHM flame alive in a dark decade for traditional metal. The second album, self-titled, surfaced in 2015, and the group didn’t need another decade for a follow-up, with “Footprints In The Rock” being released three years after, with reactions, confirming that Trespass music is still enjoyed by rock and metal fans all over the world. While preparing the next full-length release, Trespass is currently rehearsing a set of classics old and new, for UK and European shows next year.

“Wolf At The Door” will be released on LP (black vinyl, limited to 500), CD and digital formats via From The Vaults on May 26th, 2023.

Lineup:
Mark Sutcliffe – guitar/vocals
Joe Fawcett – guitar
Jason Roberts – drums
Wil Wilmot – bass

Stream and/or download it now HERE. “Roses” was produced and mixed by Grammy Award-winner Chris Lord-Alge (Harry Styles, Foo Fighters, Muse) who commended TEMPT’s efforts, stating: “Working with TEMPT was a blast. They are the real deal, with a rare combination of musicality, energy, and heart, which truly shines through in this new single. Their passion for their music and their fans is inspiring, and it was a joy to work with them on this project.”

TEMPT—Zach Allen (lead vocals), Harrison Marcello (lead guitar), Christopher Gooden (bass) and Nicholas Burrows (drums)—showcase their electrifying live performance in the music video for “Roses,” also out today. The video takes viewers on a visual journey reminiscent of a graphic novel, with high-contrast black-and-white silhouettes that explode into vibrant colors. Directed by Emmy-nominated Eric Steinhauser, known for his work on ‘Baileys in Tune: John Mayer and Paul Simon,’ the video captures the song’s concept of embracing people with positive energy and spirit, as social media influencer and choreographer Olivia Alboher playfully and elusively dances around the band, mesmerizing Allen with her vibrant energy. Watch it streaming below or directly via YouTube HERE.

On the song’s meaning, Marcello says: “It’s a tribute to the people who uplift you and bring out the best in you. It’s about embracing their infectious energy, being drawn in by them, and becoming part of their spirit.”

“I’m immensely proud of what we’ve achieved with ‘Roses,” shares Allen. “It’s a song that truly reflects who we are as a band—high-energy, infectious and unapologetically rock n’ roll.”

TEMPT have already proven their pedigree headlining clubs across the country as well as appearing as openers for Bon Jovi at Madison Square Garden and on arena tours and festivals with iconic acts such as Iron Maiden, Shinedown, Alter Bridge and Theory Of A Deadman.

The band even won the praise of Sir Brian May following their recent cover of Queen’s quintessential classic “We Will Rock You,” with proceeds being donated to May’s animal welfare Save Me Trust charity.  Says May: “Thanks TEMPT for rockin’ for wild animals. And for playing a damn good rendition of our ancient tune!!!” TEMPT were also featured on the soundtrack for Better Noise Film’s 2022 horror-thriller The Retaliators with their single “Living Dangerous (feat. Dorothy).”

In addition to the release of “Roses,” TEMPT will release two additional new singles over the coming months, giving audiences a taste of what’s to come on their debut album due this summer via Better Noise Music. The band will share further details and upcoming tour plans in the following weeks; stay tuned for more information.
