CRAVING Celebrate Record Release Day with Epic ‘Blood Ov Franconia’ Music Video

German epic metal trio, CRAVING, is celebrating the release of their brand new, fourth studio album, entitled “Call Of The Sirens”, with Massacre Records. Out as vinyl, CD, and digital formats, the album is now available HERE!

Building upon the staggering success of their previous album, “By the Storm”, CRAVING continues to awe audiences with their unique fusion of melodic black metal, melodic death metal, and traditional heavy metal epicness on stages of all sizes. This time, the album contains eight catchy to-the-point core songs and two bonus cover songs on the CD version: “Shum” by the Ukranian electro-folk band Go_A and “El Diablo” by Greek singer Elena Tsagrinou. The lyrics on “Call Of The Sirens” feature four different languages: German, English, Russian and Ukrainian. Along several high class guest musicians, the album also welcomes Cradle Of Filth guitarist Marek “Ashok” Šmerda with a solo on the “Gods Don’t Negotiate” track.

To celebrate their new offering in glorious style, CRAVING has just premiered a music video for the final, epic album single “Blood Ov Franconia”, a cultural hommage to the city of Bamberg, Germany!

“Can you survive one second without booze?” Says CRAVING singer & guitarist Ivan Chertov, who currently lives in Bamberg. “Well, the people from the city Bamberg in Bavaria seem not to be able to! The state has over 11 breweries in the city and over 40 in the surrounding area. During a year, one Bambergian is drinking approximately 280 liters of beer, the German average consumption per head is 110 liters.

So come and get wasted with us in Bamberg, the city of pregnant men at the iconic Schlenkerla tavern! This tune follows the more light-hearted yet powerful side of Craving and will be welcome at every Craving show further on! Powerful melodies meet black metal, death metal and a chorus that’s fun to listen to!”

Events in the band’s lives, the world, and in our society, which is more and more striving towards psychopathy, have inspired the band to write “Call Of The Sirens”. The album is metaphorically following the irresistible voices of the sirens, the mythical creatures mentioned in Greek and many other mythologies, which lured people in by seductive behavior and ultimately killed them.

“Call Of The Sirens” was produced by CRAVING and once again mixed by Christoph Brandes at the Iguana Studios (Necrophagist, Finsterforst, The Spirit, Imperium Dekadenz etc.). As always, the cover artwork was created by the band’s long-term friend and designer Andrej Bartulović / All Things Rotten.

Out now on Massacre Records, you can order your copy of “Call Of The Sirens” at THIS LOCATION!

Go big or go home has been the motivated “catchphrase” for the members of CRASHDÏET ever since they started in early 2000. The band took the rock scene by storm at the beginning of the new millennium with their modern interpretation of the Mötley Crüe and Guns and Roses sound. Thanks to their unique sound and unique style, Crashdïet set new trends in both speakers and wardrobes. In 2010, they released their third album, Generation Wild, and the record became a great success worldwide. The band had the privilege of supporting both Ozzy Osbourne and Mötley Crüe on tour.

Today, Crashdïet surprises their fans with a previously hidden track from Generation Wild. The new single ‘Sick Mind‘ has only been available in Japan, until now! ‘Sick Mind‘ undeniably flirts with the great arena rock bands of the 80s, but also contains punk elements, something that has become characteristic for Crashdïet.

‘Sick Mind’ is out now on all streaming services!

TESLA Release New Album “Full Throttle Live” on May 26th

Posted by tarjavirmakari on May 20, 2023
Posted in: Int. News, News. Tagged: TESLA. Leave a comment

Legendary rock band TESLA will release their highly anticipated live album on May 26, 2023. The album will include “Time To Rock” plus others all recorded at Full Throttle Saloon in Sturgis.

Pre-Order here FULL THROTTLE LIVE!

TESLA is a notorious band for one thing; being a high-energy, 100% live, kick-ass rock and roll band in concert! FULL THROTTLE LIVE captures this essence from a stop at the Sturgis Bike Rally in the year 2022 at the infamous saloon that hosts many motorcycle rock and roll parties, and this inspired the band to put on even more of a heavy show. Independently recorded, mixed, and produced by bassist Brian Wheat and guitarist Frank Hannon, this new live album truly captures TESLA in pure honest form and even dives deeper into their roots by recording a live version of the 1974 Aerosmith classic “SOS Too Bad” as a bonus track. The heavier song choices range from “Miles Away!” to more recent hard releases like “Time to Rock!” and “Cold Blue Steel”. But don’t worry there are old TESLA classics captured too like “Changes” and “Lazy Days, Crazy Nights” all recorded as TESLA is best..100% FULL THROTTLE LIVE!

“MILES AWAY” is the lead-off single release from TESLA’s new live album FULL THROTTLE LIVE! The guys chose to put this song out first because it represents TESLA and the new live album’s harder heavier sound. “MILES AWAY” is a fan favorite in concert with its heavy 6/8 rolling groove and blistering guitar solo. This is also an ironic song choice because the song lyrics are written about being a “rock star” on the road away from reality and missing home. Check out TESLA’s new live album FULL THROTTLE LIVE! You won’t be let down and MILES AWAY will take you there.

FULL THROTTLE LIVE Tracklisting:

  1. Miles Away (Live)
  2. Changes (Live)
  3. Time to Rock! (Live)
  4. Breakin’ Free (Live)
  5. Call It What You Want (Live)
  6. Lazy Days Crazy Nights (Live)
  7. Cold Blue Steel (Live)
  8. Edison’s Medicine (Live)
  9. S.O.S. (Too Bad)

Due to overwhelming demand and following a sold-out opening weekend, legendary rockers TESLA have added five additional shows to their highly-anticipated TESLA: The Las Vegas Residency at House of Blues Las Vegas at Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino. Celebrating their 36 years of entertaining rock audiences around the world, TESLA: The Las Vegas Residency will add five additional dates, beginning with Friday, Sept. 29, 2023.

During their exclusive residency, TESLA will touch all sides of their unique discography including the heavier edge of electric songs like “Modern Day Cowboy,” “Hang Tough,” and “Edison’s Medicine,” as well as their acoustic driven songs such as “Signs” and “Love Song” (two Top 10 Billboard charting hits).

“We are very excited to be able to perform consecutive nights residing at the same venue because we plan to dig into our catalog and change up our set lists for each show,” said Frank Hannon, TESLA lead guitarist. “This will make it interesting for our loyal fans who will attend in the spectacular city of Las Vegas!”

“We, in TESLA, are very excited to be doing our very first ever residency in Las Vegas, of all places, where Elvis did his residency,” said Brian Wheat, TESLA bassist. “We look forward to bringing the legacy of TESLA’S music to you all!”

Tickets for TESLA: The Las Vegas Residency at House of Blues Las Vegas start at $59.50 plus applicable fees. Tickets are available by visiting https://www.houseofblues.com/lasvegas, MandalayBay.com, Ticketmaster.com or by calling 702-632-7600.

That they are still roaring and soaring should be no surprise. That’s just how they are built. TESLA may have been born in the mid-80s, but their bluesy, soulful sound is strongly embedded in the roots of organic, authentic, 1970s rock and roll. The same roots that produced bands like The Allman Brothers, Grand Funk Railroad, AC/DC, Lynyrd Skynyrd, and Aerosmith.

The ground started shaking in Sacramento, CA, in 1984; gold country that would soon be producing some platinum. They started out as City Kidd, until a suggested name change to TESLA, honoring the eccentric inventor Nikola Tesla who pioneered all things electrical. Their 1986 platinum debut album, Mechanical Resonance, included Top 40 hits “Modern Day Cowboy” and “Little Suzi.” 1989’s double-platinum The Great Radio Controversy included hits “Heaven’s Trail (No Way Out)” and “Love Song”. Suddenly, TESLA, who had been touring with bands such as Def Leppard and David Lee Roth, earned headlining status. In 1990, TESLA helped reshape the face of modern rock music by stripping down to the Five Man Acoustical Jam, an informal collection of their biggest hits peppered with rock and roll classics by the Beatles, Stones, and others. This album produced their biggest hit single to date, a cover of Five Man Electrical Band’s “Signs.” Other 90s albums from TESLA include platinum selling Psychotic Supper and Bust a Nut. The band continues to record and release material including 9 new albums since 2000 and recently debuted their new single, “Time To Rock!”

WATCH TESLA – Official Lyric Video “Time to Rock!” (Live):

TESLA has endured many of the same taste-changing challenges that affected many in the post-grunge world, but through it all, their blue-collar work ethic and dedication to the faithful fan base has helped them not just survive, but thrive. TESLA’s legacy is alive and well as they continue to record and sellout venues all over the world. As comfortable, rugged, and dependable as your favorite pair of boots, they endure. TESLA is a celebration of the greatest spirits of rock and roll.

ARJEN LUCASSEN’S SUPERSONIC REVOLUTION Reveal Official Video for ‘They Took Us By Storm’, New Album Out Now

ARJEN LUCASSEN’S SUPERSONIC REVOLUTION have released their new album “Golden Age of Music”, out now via Music Theories Recordings / Mascot Label Group.

To celebrate the new album, the band has revealed the official video for ‘They Took Us By Storm‘, watch it below.

The album is available on various formats; 2LP Transparent Blue, 2LP Pink Marble, 2LP Purple Marble, 2LP Yellow Marble, CD, Digitally and Artbook.

Talking about the song Lucassen says, “Album sleeves were always so important for me back then in the original days of vinyl LPs!  I bought a lot of albums just because of the cover art. And my absolute favourite design company was the mighty Hipgnosis team. Their head man was called Storm Thorgerson, which explains the wordplay on ‘Storm’ in the song title. These lyrics talk about four of my favourite Hipgnosis sleeves: obviously Led Zeppelin’s ‘Houses Of The Holy’ and Pink Floyd’s ‘Dark Side Of The Moon’, two of the most iconic front covers of all time. The other two are not as well known: ‘Electric Warrior’ by T. Rex (the first album I ever bought) and UFO’s ‘Phenomenon’.  Incidentally, I only discovered years later that on the UFO cover the guy is throwing a hubcap in the air and the lady is sneakily photographing it as if it were a real UFO!”

You think you know Arjen Lucassen? Towering Dutch prog rock polymath? The man behind the super successful prog rock conceptualists Ayreon? Not to mention his prog metal of Star One and Guilt Machine? Enormous overarching concept albums about space and time, packed to the hilt with special guests that read like a who’s who of modern-day progressive rock? Arjen Lucassen? Well, think again…

Supersonic Revolution, the band behind ‘Golden Age Of Music’, are simply five men: Arjen on bass, long-standing keyboard player Joost van den Broek, guitarist Timo Somers, drummer Koen Herfst and singer Jaycee. Five men rocking out and having one hell of a time doing it.

The whole project grew from a request to provide a track for a cover CD for the German music magazine Eclipsed. A seed was sewn in Lucassen’s mind and the end result is 11 tracks of high energy, progressively inclined heavy rock that swings with the kind of groove Deep Purple rocked with in the early to mid-1970s.  The album also features covers of some legendary songs given the Arjen Lucassen treatment as bonus tracks: T-Rex’s ‘Children of the Revolution,’ ZZ Top’s ‘Heard It On The X,’ Earth Wind and Fire’s ‘Fantasy’ and Roger Glover’s ‘Love Is All.’

Track list
01 SR Prelude
02 The Glamattack
03 Golden Age Of Music
04 The Rise Of The Starman
05 Burn It Down
06 Odyssey
07 They Took Us By Storm
08 Golden Boy
09 Holy Holy Ground
10 Fight Of The Century
11 Came To Mock, Stayed To Rock
