“We are pumped to be releasing our first official music video + the next story, chapter 2: Heartache We’ve been working hard to get every song filled to the brim with emotion and power and we’re just starting. We aim to deliver more and more with each chapter and slowly unveil the whole story.”
The new video for “Divided (feat. Dreamhouse)” is now streaming here:
THE LAST ELEMENT started in 2018. Immediately they found common ground, both Jan (bass) and Jasper dealt with hardship in the past, each song they wrote was a way to lift a burden. Jan most notably dealt with the suicide of his life partner, and Jasper came from a history of child abuse and the fallout that created. They bonded over the troubles they lived but more importantly who it made them and what it made the band, they became stronger, the damage, the scars of their past gave the fuel to their music and helped them write what is closest to their hearts. THE LAST ELEMENT is the bond between them, and all the people who are scared to get hurt or that have to deal with misfortune, “we all heal when we are together, together we are stronger. Thus our music became the translation of those feelings, the dark, the heavy, the rage but also the light, the love and hope,” the band says.
Since their formation, THE LAST ELEMENT has reached +3 Million streams on Spotify alone and +10 million across platforms, fully DIY and this only proves they are getting the recognition and support from their listeners. With these numbers increasing daily and previous releases added to editorial playlists such as “New Blood” “New Core” “New Metal Tracks”, THE LAST ELEMENT is definitely levelling with established names in the genre on the way to determine their goal in life to share their music and lyrics with a global audience. June 13, 2023 will see the band support Asking Alexandria in Tivoli Vredenburg, NL, with many more shows and news to be revealed soon!

ASKING ALEXANDRIA yesterday (Friday, May 12) shared “Dark Void,” the first preview of music from their as-yet-untitled full-length studio album due this fall via Better Noise Music. Available now digitally HERE, “Dark Void” presents contrasting themes of melancholy and aspiration of day-to-day life in the modern world, while seamlessly blending the band’s anthemic stadium rock sound with a call back to their metalcore beginnings. Watch the music video for “Dark Void” streaming below or directly via YouTube HERE.
“With the world seemingly getting darker and darker, it’s easy to see why so many of us struggle with anxiety, depression, loneliness,” relays guitarist BEN BRUCE. “This song is about fighting those demons that live in your head and trying your hardest to be your own savior. Finding that inner strength to pull yourself out of the darkness.”
“This theme is explored throughout the entirety of our upcoming album. We all have our own struggles and hurdles. We are all on our own journeys that present unique challenges and difficulties, but we all have our own inner strength to fall back on. There is always light at the end of the tunnel. I feel that there can be comfort in knowing that we aren’t alone. We all feel a little down from time to time. We all feel a little lost from time to time, but somehow, in some way, we are all in this together and hopefully our new album can help people through some of their toughest times.”

Alternative metal band based in Gothenburg DREAM DROP, has truly come out on top, since the live scene made a comeback after the pandemic restrictions. They opened three shows for Blood Command in Copenhagen, Helsinki and Stockholm and just got back from a long period of touring together with Smash Into Pieces and STARSET. With a constant presence on social media, and a close contact with their own community, the band shows a clear creative thinking that is required to get the attention of the outside world.
The alternative metal and emo band have also been busy in the studio finalizing their 3rd studio album ‘ACNE SUPERSTAR’, set to be released November this year. The album is a tribute to the teenage years and today the band releases the first chapter and title track ‘Acne Superstar’. According to the band themselves, the song goes out to all teachers who have completely forgotten how children and young people feel. Dream Drop’s new single mixes alternative metal and emo with beautiful and emotional lyrics, something that has become the band’s hallmark.
“Acne superstar, Sadness is rebellion and you’ll go far Acne superstar, Don’t worry ’bout your future you will go hard”
German black metal punks RANĂ will be releasing their new album, “Richtfeuer”, on June 16th 2023 via Breath Sun Bone Blood, making it the band’s debut to the label.
Today, No Clean Singing is premiering the album’s first single, “Läutern”, at THIS LOCATION.
With “Richtfeuer“ RANĂ returns at full force in collaboration with Breath Sun Bone Blood with their second full length album. The album’s title “Richtfeuer” translates to “Leading Fire” or “Beacon”, and that is exactly what this album does…. Leads us into the burning down of this world with the hope of building a better one.
Four tracks of raging black metal punctuated with elements of d-beat driven neo-crust, chanted atmospheres, and mournfully oppressive doom, laced with melancholic guitar themes and vocal desperation.
Starting with the devastating and crushing power of the 11 minute opener “Läutern“, RANĂ sets the course for the coming 40 minute despair riddled assault. “Flamura”, the second track sets the tone with a more d-beat blackened crust tone which quickly deteriorates into furious blast beats… Desperation and urgency creating a feeling of relentless anxiety. The third track “Richtfeuer” opens with chanted vocals and mournful picked guitars that devolve into slabs of doom thrown at the listener, with heartbreaking melodic lines supported and then obliterated by black buzz. “Our Smouldering Grief / Im Brand”, the album’s final chapter (the first half also appeared on 2022’s “Black Metal Rainbows” Compilation) features melancholic guitar lines weaving in and out of hope and despair. Between life and death. The second half of the closing aural assault, “Im Brand”, leaves the listener in a pile of ash and rubble, tripping over the remnants of the world and frameworks this album wishes to destroy. And deeply ingrained in the gut-wrenching grief of this album is a hopeless call to arms. A futile attempt to strive and rebel to find a crack in the circle…. And to find solace in potentially failing in the process, only to rise again, burning.
Beautiful. Utterly brutal.
Antifascist Black Metal.

EARSHOT released their new single “Unraveling” to all major platforms! The single was produced by Wil Martin & Aaron Fink, mixed and mastered by Wil Martin. The single follows on the heels of their well received song “You + I” that released in 2022.
“This song you’re either going to LOVE it or HATE it. It’s a ride. It keeps you on your toes the whole way through. The guitar work, the lyrics, and melody are so visceral and relatable. And then comes the chorus….it just hits you right in the face,” says Wil Martin.
In a sea of melodic clones struggling to break through the surface, Earshot has always had the innate ability to transcend the rigid barrier of genre-defining music with a singular sound that can only be described as their own.
Their signature, driving, hard rock beats coupled with hook-laden harmonies are matched only by their unbridled creativity and willingness to experiment with musical textures and themes – elements that had captivated fans’ attention in the band’s early days and continue to do so now 20 years later.
Formed in 1999 – the genesis of lead vocalists, Wil Martin, with then members (Bassist) Guy Couturier, (Drummer) Dieter Hartman and (Guitarist) Scott Kohler– the Los Angeles-based band quickly shot to success after signing with Warner Bros. Records in 2002. They released their debut album LETTING GO (produced by David Kahne and mixed by Andy Wallace).
Upon its release, the band quickly found themselves on the road touring constantly with such notable rock acts such as Kid Rock, Staind, Shinedown, Hooabstank and Stone Temple Pilots to support the record.
This national exposure, combined with an aggressive radio campaign, pushed their debut single “Get Away” to #4 on the U.S. Active Rock Radio Charts where it stayed in the Top 100 for over 64 weeks. At the same time, Earshot’s hit song “Headstrong” was featured on The Queen of The Damned soundtrack alongside other artists such as Disturbed, Deftones and Marilyn Manson, further cementing their place among rock’s elite.
However, it wasn’t until the band’s sophomore album TWO (produced by Johnny K. and mixed by Rich Costey), released by Warner Bros. Records in 2004, that they would hit mainstream success with their single “Wait.” It not only reached #9 on U.S. Active Rock Radio but was also featured on the Madden NFL 2005 and MX vs. ATV Unleashed video game soundtracks.
After the success of their first two albums, Earshot found themselves at a crossroads with Warner Bros. Records and eventually parted ways in 2005. This led to a brief break for the band before inking a deal with Indegoot/Fontana/Universal Recordings in 2007 to release their 3rd album THE SILVER LINING (produced by Brian Garcia and Wil Martin; mixed by Mike Watts) yielding their fifth-charting radio single “MisSunderstood.”
With three chart-topping albums under their belts and a rigorous seven years of touring and recording, Earshot took a hiatus after the release of THE SILVER LINING. Yet after a nearly decade-long break they emerged producing their long-awaited fourth studio recording AFTERMATH (produced by Wil Martin and mixed by Sam Hughes), a five-song EP featuring an intimate, re-recorded acoustic performance of “Fall Apart,” previously released on the band’s second and most beloved album TWO, as well as the release of the album’s first single “Now That It’s Over.”
Through the epic highs and lows of the music industry as well as life in general, Earshot once again reactivated in 2019 with four new members: Aaron Fink, the former lead guitarist for Platinum-selling Breaking Benjamin, bassist John Novak from the alternative rock band Down To Six, drummer Mike Sylvia and guitarist Andy Stafford.
Regardless of the trends, trials and tribulations, Earshot has always remained true to themselves and continue to produce music that their fans can relate to on a deeper level, beginning with their remake of Alanis Morrisette’s “Uninvited” and their first single of 2021, “Been A Long Time” which was the #2 MOST ADDED on the Billboard (BDS) Mainstream Rock Indicator chart, reaching the Top 20 Billboard Mainstream and Active Rock Charts.
