Operatic black metal rising stars FOLTERKAMMER are now revealing a behind the scenes glimpse at the making of their latest music video for the song “Anno Domina.” The song is taken from the band’s sophomore full-length, ‘Weibermacht,’ which is due on April 19, 2024 via Century Media Records! The clip can be found at THIS LOCATION.

The original music video, which was once again directed by Folterkammer drummer Brendan McGowan, can be found at THIS LOCATION.

’Weibermacht’ serves as a counterpart to the band’s 2020 debut, ‘Die Lederpredigt.’ The new record is another searing blend of modern black metal and classical music elements, lending to its Avant Garde sound. The music itself is elevated by frontwoman and vocalist Andromeda Anarchia’s dynamic vocal work as she juxtaposes her classical training as an opera singer with her hellfire screams, summoning a maelstrom of ethereal chaos. In addition, FOLTERKAMMER has recently announced their first ever U.S. tour! The rising powerhouse will be embarking on an East Coast headliner with support from WITCHING, which kicks off on March 22 in Baltimore and will circle back to the band’s hometown of Brooklyn, NY on March 30. DAVID REECE Release First Single + Video ‘Enemy Is Me’ from Upcoming Album “Baptized By Fire”

With the first single “Enemy Is Me” from his upcoming album “Baptized By Fire”, David Reece sends a first hint at the musical direction of the new CD. Much heavier than its two predecessors! The reviews so far immediately draw comparisons with Accept – which was clear given his musical history – and other heavy metal heavyweights.

David Reece has changed, is more focused, but darker and more aggressive in his songs!
But the single is also a foretaste of the outstanding quality of his new band.  The three Italians Riccardo Demarosi, Niccolò and Giovanni Savinelli show impressively how “fresh wind” should sound in metal today.

Not much more needs to be said about David Reece. Since the late 80s, his charismatic voice has enhanced successful albums by ACCEPT, Bangalore Choir, Bonfire and the Sainted Sinners, among others. In addition to this, however, he also continued to focus on his solo career. As the cover and title “Baptized by Fire” already suggest, his latest album is significantly “heavier” than its two predecessors. Twelve new songs full of power, mature and varied. One reason for this is certainly his new band line-up. Catapulted into another era by finding the Japanese doll, Daruma, protagonist Viktor wakes up in a magical village called Hermitage, exploring its secrets track by track. Getting into a fight between the siblings Anningan and Irin, only Viktor’s destiny is the key to their conflict. “Welcome To Hermitage” presents the magical world of Hermitage with fairytale-like flutes, twinkling chime elements, and the vocal arrangements of singers Fabienne Erni (Eluveitie, Illumishade) and Laura Fella (Faun). “No Return” glances with the band’s characteristic sing-along refrain and operatic fragments while the track “Join Me” ranges from marvelous vocal harmonies to grand compositions. The spellbinding “Darkness Is Just a Drawing’” and uplifting “Full Of Memories” gather the atmosphere of Hermitage – Daruma’s Eyes Pt. 2 once again, before “Cliff” closes the album with rising melodies, epic orchestration arrangements, and inimitable vocal spotlights. The concept album was produced by TEMPERANCE guitarist and singer Marco Pastorino and mixed and mastered by Simone Mularoni (Luca Turilli, Michael Romeo, Twilight Force) at Domination Studio in San Marino.
