MÉLANCOLIA released their debut album HissThroughRottenTeeth in April 2023 via Greyscale Records and Nuclear Blast Records. MÉLANCOLIA echo a tormented entity trapped within the claws of despair, angst, and unnerving melancholy. Like messengers of darkness, Alex Hill takes his place at the forefront as vocalist, Joshua Taafe and Billy Morris join the fold as guitarists with Mason Page on drums. Storming through the gates of 2023 with a vengeance, MÉLANCOLIA played their first-ever show with THY ART IS MURDER on their ‘Decade Of Hate Australian Tour’ in January alongside STARVE and JUSTICE FOR THE DAMNED.
FALLUJAH have released their 5th studio album Empyrean in September 2022 via Nuclear Blast Records. Since forming in 2007, FALLUJAH have triumphed over their challenges. Whether it’s self-administering the band, going to school, writing music, or working full-time, they’ve savored release of and diehard fan admiration for five albums in The Harvest Wombs (2011), The Flesh Prevails (2014), Dreamless (2016), Undying Light (2019), and their latest Empyrean. Indeed, diligence and creative enterprise have resulted in high-profile tours with Whitechapel, Suffocation, The Black Dahlia Murder, and more across North America, Europe, and Australia. FALLUJAH also prospered with critics in Metal Hammer, Allmusic and Metalsucks. The group’s Billboard chart positions on the Top Hard Rock Albums and Heatseekers Albums prove that with every twist and turn, FALLUJAH’s fans are with them. Empyrean, with its revivalist spikes, bolstered atmospherics and high-powered production, is the greatest yet.
IMPURE WILHELMINA breathed new life into several time-worn classics on their latest EP. But Dead Decades also includes two unreleased songs from their last album.
As they prepares for their fast-approaching European tour, today, Impure Wilhelmina are releasing a new video for “Nebulae”, a dose of fuzzy but no less incensed post-rock that was originally recorded during the sessions for Antidote.
Watch the video, which mixes live concert footage with scenes from an active volcano:
Impure Wilhelminaare no strangers to reinvention. For the past 25 years, the Geneva quartet have rolled hardcore riffs, velveteen cleans, atmospheric sludge and gloomy melodies into post-metal that’s as sharp and versatile as a Swiss Army Knife.
Next month, the band are kicking off 2024 with their first run of shows. Don’t miss the chance to hear them pay a faithfully mind-bending tribute to King Crimson or flip the smoky, after-dark romance of “La Javanaise” into a lovestruck indie rock triumph.

Portuguese death metallers CHAPEL OF SAMHAIN are set to release their debut album “Black Onyx Cave” in CD format (300 hand-numbered copies)on March 18th 2024 via Nuclear Winter Records.
The first single, “Charnel”, is now streaming HERE.
A path has been made for so long that desire gave birth to a new dimension of horror, where the graves awake at night and swallow the breathless.
Black Onyx stared into this abyss and sealed a lefthand pact with Phoros to rot the alchemy upon the philosophical stone. These fumes wrecked the pillars of time and procreated a vicious ensemble of smothering tunes towards ruin baptized under the moniker CHAPEL OF SAMHAIN.
Totally architected in a monolithic vision and crafted in the sulphuric womb of lunacy both musicians accepted this challenge outside their other musical projects (Grog, Velório & Nethermancy) to embrace and celebrate the newborn spirits of the dead.
Wandering through the extreme and obscure catacombs of the old school metal scripts, traces of death, black with eerie symphonies gather for a mass of skull crushing hymns along with a choir of morbid enchantments that turn down the crosses for the CHAPEL OF SAMHAIN hordes as the ambiences grow thicker within the abyssic layers of doom.
Once entering Black Onyx Cave, an altar will rise as you will feel the mark and the creation force behind this unparalleled vortex meant to represent the seasons change within light and shadow as Man grows wither into His Mastery. Transmutation is the Key!
Released today is “My Secret Suicide,” the first single from the MUSIC FROM THE DARK project ! Available on all the best music stores worldwide, on Wanikiya Record’s showcase in Japan and on via Crashsound Distribution.
Single “My Secret Suicide”
Despair leads to isolation, isolation to depression and despondency, from this dark point in life the Music From The Dark project takes strength +++
A deep black soul duo that draws from bands like the cure, paradise lost, katatonia, joy division to unite in a deep sound of sad and decadent torment.
“DEPRESSIVE DARK” this is the genre proposed by MUSIC FROM THE DARK +++.
To be in a room and never see an exit…to live in the light but see only darkness around you…a single moment of hope…this is ” My Secret Suicide “.
Line up: MARCO MAGNONI (VOCALS/GUITARS). Historical voice/guitarist of BLACKAGE with an active record “New world order” released 1998 x Collapse Records. At that time BLACKAGE will back up Cradle of Filth and left for a tour in which they participated in many festivals including Beach bum in Jesolo with headliner Marilyn Manson. There will be participations in other Goth/Dark projects but the idea of reuniting with his old friend and historical drummer “MAX” to found “Music from the dark ” will happen only in 2020 during the black time of covid.. In that forced period of isolation and total darkness came the band’s most decadent and despair-filled pieces.
MAX TOSI (DRUMS) Born as a drummer in the very early era of Modenese heavy metal. Of clear Classic Metal mold , shares the very first youthful experiences with “MARCO” establishing a friendship that has always been maintained over the years despite different were projects and musical directions. Always belonging to the underground fabric participates in several projects ranging from Classic Metal , Stooner and finally Horror Rock with local bands preferring projects aimed at the creation of original music. From him the idea to start again from a historical friendship, absolutely trusted with which to concretize musical models and approaches now lost in time.
