“Nothing Will Belong To Us” is the fIrst on-label album by Danish Experimental / Dark Ambient artist and multi-instrumentalist Trine Paaschburg a.k.a. MOUTH WOUND.
The album will be released on April 27th 2023 on digital and a limited tape edition via Brucia Records.
“Nothing Will Belong To Us” sees Trine expanding upon those elements that have become a trademark of her unique approach to music and experimentation, here combining the use and manipulation of analogue noise oscillators, acoustic drone, mangled violin and her heartbreaking voice with recordings based on her improvised live material accumulated over the past 2 years.
An album that is made of the very same substance of dreams and nightmares combined: a visceral release, so bodily and ethereal at the same time, balancing moments of deep melancholy with abrupt and brutal climaxes in which the peace is mauled by a cacophony of noise and guttural screams.
Simultaneously, the lyrical context of physical/existential malaise and the search for tranquil that characterized her whole production has also gained more depth and sadness, and a profound sense of inevitability in expressing such an instinctual and emotional desire to fInd meaning through a persevering feeling of emptiness, knowing all too well that that goalpost is and will always be there, and yet it will also never stop moving.
Both meditative and masochistic, “Nothing Will Belong To Us” is a refreshingly honest and scarily brutal take on experimental music: multi-layered and minimalistic at the same time, it evokes a soul crushing poetry that is truly unique to the phenomenal art of Mouth Wound.

MOUTH WOUND is a solo project from Denmark. The project was created in 2013 by multi-instrumentalist Trine Paaschburg.
She utilizes noise, textured soundscapes with repetitive heavy elements and draws in acoustic drone sampling with expanded vocal techniques. The music deals with themes such as physical/existential malaise and the search for tranquility.
From the frst EP recorded in 2013 and self released in the same year, Trine has in time released one album and two more EPs, gradually shaping her own very unique style, described as alluringly meditative yet masochistic – especially when experienced live.

The album’s first single “Meeting The Master” is out now to extensive critical acclaim; Consequence raves that the song “[digs] deeper into their mythical lore by revisiting concepts from their previous work,” while Uproxx notes that “‘Meeting the Master’ [is] an existential new single on which lead vocalist Josh Kiszka embarks on a spiritual journey.” Jambase adds, “the song develops from a beautiful acoustic-tinged number into a bombastic rocker.” Listen/share the song HERE and pre-save/pre-order the record HERE.
The album is written and recorded by the band—lead singer Josh Kiszka, guitarist Jake Kiszka, bassist/keyboardist Sam Kiszka and drummer Danny Wagner—alongside Grammy-winning producer Dave Cobb (Chris Stapleton, Brandi Carlile). Recorded at the legendary RCA Studios in Nashville, the band utilized the large recording room to capture the pure energy of their world-renowned live performances.
“We didn’t really have to force or be intense about writing, because everything that happened was very instinctual,” Jake says. “If anything, the record is our perspective, and sums up where we are as a group and individually as musicians.”
Throughout the ten-song collection the band explores the duality of fantasy versus reality and the contrast between light and darkness. “We had this idea that we wanted to tell these stories to build a universe,” says Wagner. “We wanted to introduce characters and motifs and these ideas that would come about here and there throughout our careers through this world.”
The band took multiple concepts from critically acclaimed sophomore album The Battle at Garden’s Gate and brought them into Starcatcher, although Sam’s take on the new record’s big ideas hint instead at new beginnings. “When I imagine the world of Starcatcher, I think of the cosmos,” he says. “It makes me ask a lot of questions, like ‘Where did we come from?’ or ‘What are we doing here?’ But it’s also questions like, ‘What is this consciousness that we have, and where did it come from?’”
The band is best known for their renowned live performances, selling over one milliontickets worldwide. They sold out their entire 2022 arena tour, holding a special energy between them and their devoted fans. With Starcatcher the band aims to capture that energy in the recording studio.
Most recently, the band performed at the inaugural Lollapalooza Mumbai and completed an extensive U.S. arena tour in March. Greta Van Fleet returns to the road next month for the Shaky Knees Festival in Atlanta and Beale Street Music Festival in Memphis.
Starcatcher follows their acclaimed sophomore album The Battle at Garden’s Gate, released in 2021 to extensive chart and critical success. The album debuted at #1 Billboard Rock Album, #1 Billboard Hard Rock Album, #1 Billboard Vinyl Album, #2 Billboard Top Album Sales and in the Top 10 on the Billboard 200. Their From The Fires EP, released in 2017, won Best Rock Album at the 61st Grammy Awards.
Forming in Frankenmuth, Michigan in 2012, Greta Van Fleet consists of three brothers—vocalist Josh Kiszka, guitarist Jake Kiszka and bassist/keyboardist Sam Kiszka—as well as drummer Danny Wagner. Together they have performed across multiple continents, sold over 3.5 million records worldwide and performed on late night television shows such as “Saturday Night Live,” “The Late Show with Stephen Colbert” and “Jimmy Kimmel Live!”
Costa Rican Black/Death Metal project GRANDIOSA MUERTE has released the lyric video for their single, “Mercurio.” The track is taken from their upcoming album, “Egregor,” which is set to release on May 5th, 2023, via Wormholedeath.
“Mercurio” offers a glimpse into the band’s upcoming album with its deathly and haunting melodies that transport listeners to a dark and twisted world.
The band’s upcoming album “Egregor” is a Death/Black Metal masterpiece that provides a platform for their vision. With the release of “Egregor,” Grandiosa Muerte seeks to take its fans on a journey through their deepest and darkest fears.
When S.A. Destroyer (aka Svartalv – ex. GEHENNA, SATYRICON) formed NOCTURNAL BREED in 1996 he saw the band as both an homage to the Thrash, Speed and Heavy Metal waves of the 80’s, as well as a reaction against the softening of attitudes within Metal in general, and the growing commercialisation of the Black Metal scene.
What followed was plethora of releases, culminating with the band marking its 25th Anniversary in 2021 with the release of their “Face Your Aggressor” double album.
Today NOCTURNAL BREED continues to spread terror and destruction in its wake, but this time in the form of a trio, which, aside from S.A. Destroyer on Vocals and Bass, includes T. Terror on Drums and Vocals and I. Maztor on Guitars. And you can rest assured that their shredding is pure, fearsome, NOCTURNAL BREED, with some outstanding old-school heavy metal thrown into the mix.
And with the new lineup comes a brand new album, the band’s seventh to be precise, which will hit the streets on Dark Essence Records on the 23 June. Titled “Carry the Beast”, the album is a wholehearted look back at what inspired the band and the extreme metal scene. The fact that it was recorded without the use of modern equipment evokes in the listener all those emotions that come with the time-honoured traditions of Metal.
Reflecting a lot of the darker aspects of humanity that have crept to the forefront of society over the past 2-3 years, the fearsome intensity of the compositions tears its way mercilessly through “Carry the Beast”, creating an album full of unbridled hate that feels as raw as a war wound.
“Carry the Beast” was recorded at the Necrolab Studios and at NOCTURNAL BREED’s private “Bunker Studios”. With Front Cover & Logo Adaption by Andrej ‘Maggot Meister’ Bartulovic & All Things Rotten., track listing for “Carry the Beast” is as follows:
Carry the Beast
Thrash Metal Hate Saw (The Last Act of Terror)
Knights of Denim
Salt the Wounds
Atomic Cruiser
Raise the Flag…And the Hordes will Follow
Nosferata

I Ain’t Marching Anymore
