Pittsburgh deathcore unit SIGNS OF THE SWARM is giving fans an incredibly heavy new standalone single – “Amongst the Low & Empty” – which can be heard here. The video (directed by Joey Durango) can also be seen now HERE
Signs Of The Swarm comments: “We are extremely pleased to unleash ‘Amongst the Low & Empty.’ This song represents a theme that we have been building for a few years and were finally able to bring to life with the help of Josh Schroeder, with additional production from Joshua Travis. We wanted to create something that gets you moving from beginning to end, no bullshit, just heavy.
“We knew we accomplished that when our manager laughed out loud at a part in the breakdown when hearing it for the first time. We hope you headbang and/or laugh with us.”
Co-produced and mixed by Josh Schroeder (Lorna Shore, King 810, Tallah), “Amongst the Low & Empty” is the first taste of what’s to come from the ferocious deathcore quartet in 2023. Next up, Signs Of The Swarm will join Whitechapel, Archspire, and Entheos starting tomorrow for an extensive USA tour
Signs of the Swarm aren’t just any band, they’re a once-a-generation beacon that radiates the sounds that surrounded them, preserving history by reframing it. With riffs more punishing than pensive, and a rhythm section that frames them in creatively cacophonic ways, they’ve spent 9 years honing their craft – and they’ve steadily expanded their global reach, too. Having already toured with the likes of Fit for an Autopsy, Born of Osiris, Shadow of Intent, Aborted, Lorna Shore, Brand of Sacrifice and more, forget the signs; the swarm is already here. And it’s growing larger and louder every day.
Stay tuned for more news from Signs Of The Swarm coming soon!

TRAGEDY had a glitter-encrusted grip on the entertainment world when they emerged in the early 2010’s. Now, following the 2015 breakout viral music video for their cover of Grease’s “You’re The One That I Want” and 2017’s second viral hit, a cover of “Stayin’ Alive” by the Bee Gees, TRAGEDY are back with a brand new twist on I Am Woman! Flipping the script on sleaze rock tropes, I Am Woman pays tribute to the most powerful force in the band’s lives – celebrating womanhood in all forms on 14 newly-reinvented disco and soft rock anthems.
Having introduced their raucous trademark stage show to audiences in the USA, the UK, Germany, France, Switzerland and beyond, and releasing several albums of metalized disco, soft rock and pop covers before even tasting their first viral hit, TRAGEDY proved early on that they were never just your everyday satirical cover band. These six warriors of wacky fully embody the soul of the original and reimagine it from the top down, infusing the tracks with an undeniably infectious energy that can be felt both on stage or on wax. And while their 80s hair metal image would imply that plenty of misbehavior is to be seen on the surface, one only need witness TRAGEDY live a single time to understand that the band’s true overarching message is one of carefree joy, humanity, acceptance and the simple pursuit of a damn good time.

SVARTANATT return with the new single ”Child of the Devil”. Following their 2016 self titled debut album and 2018’s ”Starry Eagle Eye”, the Swedish classic rock outfit are now set to release their third studio full-length ”Last days on earth” during the autumn of 2023. ”Child of the Devil” is the first taste of the new album, and offers melodious guitars, heavy organ, high energy drums, groovy bass-lines and unique, sharp vocals.
Svartanatt on the new single:
Child of the Devil is the first single from our third upcoming album Last Days on Earth. The song is about a person who has been struggling his whole life. His feeling inside has always been insecure and uncertain, whatever direction he turned to, the darkness has overshadowed the light. He has always found a way back up from the bottom, to one dayreach the top.
Celebrated guitarist Philip Sayce is thrilled to return to the UK with six exclusive dates in November 2023. Tickets go on sale on Wednesday April 19th at 10am GMT via www.thegigcartel.com and www.philipsayce.com.
Special guest on all shows is slide guitarist Troy Redfern.
The UK tour announcement precedes the release of a brand-new single scheduled for mid-May from Philip’s highly anticipated forthcoming studio album, which will be released on Atomic Gemini, Sayce’s own label. This new music follows “Spirit Rising,” his seventh full-length album released by Warner Music during the pandemic and currently has over 11 million streams on Spotify.
“I am beyond excited to return to the UK — it’s been a long time coming, and it is a privilege to return to the country where I was born to perform. I cannot wait to reconnect with the UK audiences, who are always so gracious, supportive, and welcoming. We are going to light it up with everything we’ve got. Are you ready?”
The band consisting of Philip Sayce (vocals, guitar), Sam Bolle (bass), and Bryan Head (drums) will be performing featured music from Sayce’s rich catalogue, including “5:55” (Spirit Rising), “Alchemy” (Peace Machine), and “Aberystwyth” (Steamroller) which was produced by GRAMMY Award-winning producer, Dave Cobb.

Hailing from Los Angeles, California, Sayce is the protege of guitar legend Jeff Healey and GRAMMY and Academy Award-winning superstar Melissa Etheridge. Born in Wales, raised in Toronto, Canada, and now an American citizen, Philip’s love of the guitar started at a young age when his parents introduced him to the greats early on — notably, Eric Clapton, Jimi Hendrix, Stevie Ray Vaughan, Albert Collins, Jeff Healey, and Jeff Beck.
Over the past two decades, Sayce has performed at the world’s most prestigious — from the Montreux Jazz Festival in Switzerland with Healey to a victorious night at the Oscars in the heart of Hollywood with Etheridge when she won best song for “An Inconvenient Truth” where Sayce’s guitar playing shines. Sayce also worked with multi-platinum artist, Uncle Kracker, appearing on the album “No Stranger To Shame”. During this time, the powerful cover of Dobie Gray’s “Drift Away” set a Billboard record for most weeks at #1 on any chart for a staggering 28 weeks in the United States.
Sayce’s heralded performances at Fuji Rock Festival in Japan, the Montreal Jazz Festival in Canada, the Dallas International Guitar Festival in Texas, and a devastating house-shaking appearance at Eric Clapton’s Crossroads Festival in New York City have left audiences stunned and amazed. At a GRAMMY event, Jon Bon Jovi told the audience, “I want to give a special nod to Philip, who I immediately opened the program and said, ‘Who the fuck is that guitar player?’ Pretty fabulous, Philip.”
“Players come along and challenge what you thought was possible… Philip Sayce – I don’t think I’ve ever heard someone go that crazy in that direction for a long time.” – Joe Satriani
“Philip Sayce… The soulful master of the Stratocaster.” – Jude Gold, Guitar Player Magazine
“At [Clapton’s] Crossroads Festival, [Sayce] went up solo and shook the house with a performance so devastating that it would have made “Eruption” sound like a nursery rhyme” – Premier Guitar

With flawless musicianship and accompanied by a stellar audio mix, ‘Live: The Eastern Forces of Evil 2022’ truly represents the very best of Sigh’s legacy.
Frontman Mirai had the following to say about the new album:
Our new live album was recorded in August 2022 whilst we performed our live stream that we did during the pandemic, which was a cliché in the world under the Pandemic. However, the recording of both video and audio, turned out by far better than we had expected and we thought it’d be a good idea to physically release it rather than just putting it on YouTube or somewhere.
Mirai continues:
This is a document not only about our blood-drenched stage but also about the new era of Sigh that began with Nozomu on guitar. 2023 marks the 30th anniversary of our debut album “Scorn Defeat”, and “Live: Eastern Forces of Evil 2022” covers our whole career from “Scorn Defeat” to the latest “Shiki” released in 2022.
