Moonlight Haze has released “Shine”, second single taken from the new EP “Interstellar Madness” to be released on May 22 by Scarlet Records.
«“Shine” is an anthemic and very direct song, led by powerful guitar riffs and synths. The upbeat lyrics tell a story of life redemption, showing that willpower and inner strength are the key to overcoming dark times and building a future filled with ʻlightʼ. I’m very fond of this song that Giulio Capone sent me late at night and whose lyrics we co-wrote.» – (Chiara Tricarico)

Rising from the heart of the UK metal underground, Beyond Salvation return with their most ambitious and uncompromising release to date, The Final Nail, which will be released on Friday 29th May 2026. To celebrate the release, the band has released the title track ‘The Final Nail’ today, on Thursday 23rd April. Watch the video below.
Hailing from Manchester, Beyond Salvation deliver a ferocious blend of thrash metal at its core, fused with groove and death metal influences, all driven by a hardcore-inspired vocal attack. Breaking away from modern trends, the band performs entirely in standard tuning. Letting songwriting, precision, and sheer aggression carry the weight. No fads. No gimmicks. Just thrash anthems played with passion and screamed with pride in the name of METAL.
The heavy metal heavyweights are built up of Jon Pedley (Vocals, Rhythm Guitar), Arun Kamath (Lead Guitar, Backing Vocals), Luke Entwistle (Bass, Backing Vocals), and Owen Ashworth (Drums), Beyond Salvation has been carving their path in the metal scene with passion and pride. Their music, characterised by thrash with strong influences of groove and death metal, sets them apart from the crowd and shows the versatility of the band.
Since their formation, the band’s reputation has been built upon relentless live performances within their local area and further afield and has rewarded them with successful performances at Bloodstock Festival, as well as support slots alongside the likes of Shrapnel, Tailgunner, Gruesome and Krysthla. Beyond Salvation pays homage to the classic metal ethos with a modern edge.
The band have a a proven track record with three EPs and several singles currently in their discography but they are yet to release a full length album…until now! The bands most recent EP ‘A Line In The Sand’ particularly caught media attention with the band sharpening their sound and showing confidence within their product, but The Final Nailrepresents the band at full force.
The Final Nail is named after one of the album’s standout tracks. The Final Nail captures everything Beyond Salvation encapsulates in their music; groove, thrash, aggression, and melody. Making it the perfect title to represent the entire record. The album was written collaboratively, with Jon Pedley and Arun Kamath presenting initial ideas before all four members shaped the material into its final form. The result is a cohesive and powerful body of work that reflects the band’s unity and shared vision.
Watch the video for ‘The Final Nail’ here, directed and edited by Forshaw Media:
While not a strict concept album, The Final Nail follows a loose narrative arc. It charts an individual’s journey of self-reflection; revisiting past decisions, confronting destructive behaviours, wrestling with addiction and consequence, and questioning whether change is still possible… or whether fate has already been sealed.
Track highlights include: “REGRESUS” – An atmospheric introduction; Latin for “return,” symbolising the beginning of reflection. “DESCENDING INTO DARKNESS” – The true start of the journey as inner demons take control. “INCARCERATE” – A self-made prison formed by one’s own actions. “THE FINAL NAIL” – The crushing realisation that destructive habits can bury everything you once loved. “THE WAITING” – A harrowing exploration of addiction and its god-like grip. “SCORNED” – A parallel fall that introduces a fragile thread of hope. “BROKEN REFLECTIONS” – The attempt to rise and confront oneself honestly. “ENDLESS CYCLE” – The fear of repeating the same mistakes forever. “THE STORM” – A sobering conclusion questioning whether true change is ever possible.
Demonstrating their DIY ethos, ‘The Final Nail’ was self-recorded and produced. Drums were tracked at Silver Lining Studios, engineered by Jon Pedley. All guitars, bass, and vocals were recorded at home, engineered by Arun Kamath. Production duties were shared between Jon and Arun, with Jon handling the final mix. The album was mastered by long-time collaborator Lee Calpee, delivering a crushing, polished finish without sacrificing raw intensity.
Beyond Salvation will bring The Final Nail to the stage with the following shows 5th July Subside, Birmingham | 18th JulyAlbum Launch Show at Holy Diver, Stockport | 5th September at Trillians, Newcastle | 14th November – Thrashchester – Rebellion, Manchester | 20th November – Tap N Tumbler, Nottingham.
With The Final Nail, Beyond Salvation proves that authenticity, dedication, and fearless songwriting still define true metal. This is not a band chasing trends, this is a band forging steel the old-fashioned way and sharpening it for the modern age. The Final Nailis a relentless statement of intent from one of Manchester’s most uncompromising metal acts.

How should a thrash metal band from the 2000s make a comeback? This is how! Where Victims Lie released two promo CDs back in 2003 and 2007, before going on a long hiatus. Now they’re finally back with a five-track EP called “What Was Left Behind” – an assault of sheer thrash metal revival! Rooted in the 80s, influenced by the 00s, but crafted with passion in the 20s.
“I always felt there was some unfinished business with this band. We got back together a few years ago and quickly realized that we all still had the same fire burning!” says guitarist Jarkko Petosalmi.
“We wanted to make absolutely sure that we came back stronger before, and we definitely succeeded! We also haven’t slowed down one bit, quite the opposite actually.” comments drummer Timo Häkkinen.

SQUID PISSER are a chaotic hardcore/noise outfit blending industrial textures, fractured rhythms, and confrontational performance into a singular, abrasive identity. Featuring members of GWAR, Cancer Christ and Duck Duck Goose, the band fuses blown-out electronics, noise-drenched guitars, and volatile live energy into something deliberately unhinged and immediate.
The band has worked with acclaimed producers including Kurt Ballou and Steve Evetts, and has engaged with forward-thinking acts such as Melt-Banana, The Locust, and Nekrogoblikon. Releases through Three One G Records and Skin Graft Records position SQUID PISSER firmly within a lineage of boundary-pushing underground music.
Through relentless touring, SQUID PISSER has shared stages with GWAR, Weedeater, Nekrogoblikon, King Parrot, and Buñuel, while also performing alongside Thee Oh Sees, deathbyromy, and Siiickbrain, demonstrating a rare ability to cross scenes without compromise.
Internationally, SQUID PISSER has appeared at festivals including ArcTanGent Festival, bringing their volatile and confrontational live show to European audiences. In the U.S., the band has also performed at The Gathering of the Juggalos 2025 and Muddy Roots Fest 2026.
Their growing catalog – including “My Tadpole Legion,” “Dreams of Puke,” and “Vaporize a Neighbor” — has seen multiple vinyl pressings sell out, alongside a steady output of visually striking, concept-driven music videos.

Eclipse Records is thrilled to announce the signing of an exclusive worldwide deal with NOVA RIOT from Durant, Oklahoma (USA) that is redefining the boundaries of heavy music with their signature “bubblegum alternative metal” sound. Their music acts as a form of modern alchemy, transforming themes of mental health and self-mastery into powerful, melodic anthems for a new generation of metal fans. The band recently wrapped up production of their debut full-length album entitled Blood, Lies, and Lullabies which will be released via Eclipse Records on August 21, 2026.
“When Nova and I started Nova Riot, I knew right away that this project had some magic!” says guitarist Orion, “It had the music, the theatrics and the talent to back it all up, so we decided to build a brand that was recognizable right out the gate. I knew we really needed a partner that could help elevate our music in a way that you just can’t really do on your own as an artist. As a veteran of the music industry I had heard the name Eclipse Records thrown around with some weight, and having known them to have a log running business model that works for bands that want to put in the work, i didn’t hesitate to submit our music… And here we are! Eclipse has given us the great opportunity to prove ourselves as heavyweights in an industry that has some undeniable giants! For that we are forever grateful and humbled.” Frontwoman Nova adds “Out of the blue my bandmate called after setting up a meeting with Chris at Eclipse. After talking with him, I felt great energy immediately. I knew something like this would happen sooner or later but I’m not sure that I saw it coming so soon. I can tell you one thing for sure though, I’m absolutely stoked to begin this journey and next step to creating meaningful art and hoping it is seen and felt by anyone who our creations resonate with. Thank you to everyone at Eclipse for seeing the meaning behind our music, and helping us launch our band to spread the riot even further!”

Hailing from Durant, Oklahoma, Nova Riot is set to disrupt the heavy music landscape with their debut album, Blood, Lies & Lullabies, scheduled for release on August 21, 2026, via Eclipse Records. Operating under the defiant mantra of “Music with No Apologies,” the trio—consisting of vocalist Nova Ray, bassist Orion, and lead guitarist Ares—has pioneered a high-octane sound they describe as bubblegum alternative metal. This unique sonic territory blends gritty defiance with polished melodicism, positioning the band alongside contemporary heavyweights like Poppy and The Pretty Reckless. Produced by Braxton Henry, the album functions as a series of modern incantations that explore the duality of the human experience. Standout tracks include the escapist storytelling of “Midnight Coven Crush,” the darker atmospheric textures of “The Altar” (featuring The Bunny The Bear), and the vulnerable reflections on personal change in “Like I Meant It.” By prioritizing high-impact visual storytelling and cinematic production, Nova Riot has established a mature brand identity that favors raw, visceral authenticity. Blood, Lies & Lullabies offers an immersive experience where listeners are invited to reclaim their power and navigate their own destinies.
Blood, Lies & Lullabies was produced, engineered and mastered by Braxton Henry, and co-produced by Addison Ray and Paris Pipkin. The album and singles feature art by Paris Pipkin. It is scheduled for release on August 21, 2026.
