RIMMAR Shares New Music Video ‘These Ruins’, Feat. Marco “Biuller” Bertuccioli

Posted in: Int. News, News. Tagged: RIMMAR. Leave a comment

“It’s a dream come true, lasting for years. Now everything can begin”.

With these words, Italian guitarist and composer Marco Rinaldi introduced Rimmar, his visionary solo project. Today, that vision continues to unfold with the release of the new music video “These Ruins”, out now via Rockshots Records, marking a new chapter in the cycle of the latest album “Raises”.

Far from being a traditional band, Rimmar remains a one-man artistic endeavor driven entirely by Rinaldi’s creative direction. As with the entire “Raises” album, “These Ruins” is fully written, composed, and arranged by Rinaldi himself, blending classic, progressive, and industrial metal with synth-driven and electronic elements into a sound that is both modern and distinctly recognizable.

Continuing the conceptual path established by singles “Planet Mars” and “Unreal“, “These Ruins” explores a more introspective dimension within the album’s narrative framework. In comparison, earlier releases focused on rebirth, transformation, and elevation, the new single turns toward the idea of constraint, those invisible forces that bind the individual – and the inner tension required to break free. The result is a track that balances melodic depth and rhythmic impact, expanding the project’s emotional range.

The song features Marco “Biuller” Bertuccioli (Smelly Boggs, J27, 80’s Sunset Strip), whose vocal performance brings a raw and expressive edge, enhancing the track’s intensity and reinforcing its thematic weight. His contribution adds a distinctive character while remaining fully integrated within Rimmar’s sonic identity.

At the core of the project lies a composition-first approach: Rinaldi develops each piece starting from riffs or rhythmic structures, later expanding them through layered arrangements, synth textures, and detailed production work. Lyrics emerge from reflections, dreams, and personal insight, serving the music rather than guiding it – “The word is a servant of music in my case”, he explains.

The music video for “These Ruins” transforms the track’s tension and atmosphere into a striking visual language, reinforcing the project’s identity and narrative through a hybrid sound that fuses metal, electronic elements, and progressive influences.

Originally released on July 4th, 2025, the full-length “Raises” introduced a concept centered on rebirth, transcendence, and emotional elevation, symbolized by the image of a constantly rising volume knob. The record features a cast of exceptional guest performers from the Italian metal scene. Among them, Fabio Lione (Rhapsody of Fire, Angra) appears on two tracks (“Mighty Messenger” and “Vortex”), along with Kyo Calati (MindAheaD), Marco Andreotti (Imagine Dragons tribute), Mattia Fagiolo (White Thunder, Dragonhammer), and Alessandro Cola (Eldritch), each lending their voice and energy to the project.

For fans of Devin Townsend, Pain, Nine Inch Nails, and Faith No More, Rimmar stands at the intersection of power, experimentation, and modern songwriting, continuing to shape a distinctive voice within the contemporary metal landscape.

Exclusive Premiere for Finland: VANIR – ‘Boudica’ Lyric Video

With “Boudica”, their new single and lyric video, Danish melodic death metal unit VANIR deliver another fierce chapter from their upcoming album “Wyrd”. The single tells the story of the legendary warrior queen who led her people against the Roman Empire – a figure of defiance, vengeance, and unbreakable will.

More than just a tale from history, “Boudica” is a battle hymn of resistance and empowerment. As the queen fought for her people’s freedom and her rightful place as their leader, the song resonates as an anthem of women’s strength and the fight against oppression across the ages.

Join the premiering here:

Merging blistering melodic death metal with epic storytelling, Vanir breathe new life into the legacy of a woman who refused to bow, and whose name still echoes as a symbol of power and rebellion.

Swords, helmets and shields can be heard in the distance once more, as Danish warriors Vanir return with their new album, “Wyrd”. The record revolves around the timeless theme of fate – spun from war, from the choices of humankind, and from the consequences that have shaped our world. As a mirror of our own time, where decisions carry the weight of future destinies, “Wyrd” invites the listener into stories of downfall and triumph, of lives lost and victories won.

The visual core of the album is brought to life by artist David Troest, whose dramatic cover depicts the Winged Hussar, one of history’s most fearsome war machines. The scene is the legendary Battle of Vienna in 1683, where the Polish cavalry forced the Ottoman Empire to retreat, halting its expansion into Europe. This clash of civilizations forms the backdrop for the song “Never Surrender”, told through the eyes of those who defended Vienna from invasion.

But “Wyrd” is more than just a historical album. It is a musical journey into humanity’s struggle with power, destiny, and the eternal conflicts over survival and dominion. Vanir combine melodic death metal with epic storytelling, reminding us of that history always repeats itself, and that the choices we make today hold the seeds of tomorrow’s battles.

The album has been mixed and mastered at Demigod Recordings, ensuring a powerful and razor-sharp sound that does justice to the weight of its themes.

As one of Denmark’s most prominent melodic death metal bands, Vanir has forged its own take on epic for over a decade now, with history-themed melodic death metal, merging crushing riffs with tales of fate, battle, and myth. With “Wyrd”, the collective once again sharpen their steel and march onto the battlefields of history.

“Wyrd” will be released on LP, CD and digital formats on 03.04.2026, via Mighty Music.

UK/EU power metal newcomers FORTUNE TELLER unleash their sensational new single and video “Command The Legions”, now available for radio airplay. The track continues the band’s unfolding narrative arc introduced in their previous singles while building momentum towards their highly-anticipated debut album, scheduled for release in 2026.

Driven by soaring vocals, galloping riffs and anthemic hooks, “Command The Legions” depicts the next stage of the ongoing story. In (the previous single) “Savage Seas” our protagonist flees from their old life to venture across the oceans to find their legacy. They meet the fortune teller in (the latest single) “The Fortune Teller” and bind to this entity, giving them the power to inflict revenge on those who have wronged them, but they follow a different path. They meet a squadron, failing on the battlefield. The group are given a new insignia and something to fight for, and now in “Command The Legions” we see our character take up the mantle and lead the team onwards towards chaos and glory!

Join the premiering here:

Formed in 2025 by a collective of seasoned musicians, Fortune Teller bridges the gap between traditional epic metal and modern melodic sensibility. Frontwoman Theresa Smith (Metaprism) delivers commanding vocals over the band’s dynamic blend of riff-driven power metal and melodic hooks, crafted by multi-instrumentalist Ian Rockett (Shattered Skies) and Grammy-nominated producer Meyrick De La Fuente (Exist Immortal, Vexed) on keyboards, alongside guitarist Ross McLennan (Ingested, Viscera, Abhorrent Decimation). The lineup is completed by bassist David Billote (Exist Immortal) and drummer Tim Coulson (Godeater).

Despite forming only in 2025, the band has already experienced a rapid rise, moving from their debut singles to major stages, including Bloodstock Open Air 2025 and a European tour within their first months as a band. Following a competitive signing period in late 2025, Fortune Teller are now preparing the release of their debut full-length album in 2026.

KINGDOM COLLAPSE Share Video for Explosive New Single ‘Watch You Bleed’

Kingdom Collapse create the soundtrack to survival. The San Antonio, TX hard rock band alchemizes unfathomable tragedy, trauma, and loss into massive and magnetic anthems powered by pummeling instrumentation and arena-size hooks that remind you to never give up.

And they do all of the above flawlessly on their new single “Watch You Bleed.”

“‘Watch You Bleed’ wrestles with the desire for revenge and realization that holding onto that negativity only ends up hurting yourself in the end,” declares vocalist Jonathan Norris.

Bassist Aaron Smith offers insight into the video, saying, “We decided to showcase the struggle between those feelings of anger while also coming to terms with letting them go. We wanted to depict the fight of good and evil that we all wrestle with internally.”

Kingdom Collapse originated out of the childhood friendship between aforementioned vocalist Jonathan Norris and bassist Aaron Smith, who grew up together, found music around the same time, and recognized its power after Jonathan endured the loss of his father at eight-years-old.

In order to cope, he immediately retreated into music and the embrace of a small community — which included Aaron’s family. This was the turning point where both boys realized the power of friendship, the power of music, and their potential together.  “I saw my father die right in front of my eyes,” Jonathan sighs. “I didn’t even know what was happening. In some ways, that darkness has never left. Music became my light. I connected with it, and it gave me hope for the future. Kingdom Collapse is a band that carries that torch.”

Jonathan and Aaron each made the rounds in local bands and even collaborated a few times on short-lived projects. When they finally joined forces in Kingdom Collapse, it was as if everything they’d gone through as friends prepared them to make a statement together.

Jonathan tapped Aaron to play bass, and they rounded out the lineup by welcoming guitarist David Work and drummer Gaston Flores into the fold. Their quiet and devoted grind paid off when their breakout track “Uprise” resonated on a global scale, gathering 5 million-plus Spotify streams and bulldozing the way for 2022’s independent Unbreakable EP. The latter housed their biggest single to date “Unbreakable,” which has generated north of 11 million Spotify streams and hit No. 1 on Octane. Unafraid to put in the work, the four-piece didn’t bother with day jobs and went all-in on music, hitting the road for hundreds of shows a year. They shared stages with everyone from Three Days Grace and Nothing More to From Ashes To New, Fire From The Gods, ATTACK ATTACK!, and Adelita’s Way.

In 2025, they caught the attention of Mascot Records and inked a deal with the label. Now, Kingdom Collapse hold nothing back on their new single.

Kingdom Collapse are touring the US through the summer, supporting Saliva on a sprinkling of dates before heading out with Red through June. The band will also hit several festivals in the summer.

TABERNIS Reveal New Single And Video ‘Mel Obscurum (Palästinalied)’

Folk duo TABERNIS channel the Middle Ages with their new single, “Mel Obscurum (Palästinalied)”. The second single off of their upcoming album, Seasons of the Dark Hive, out April 24, 2026 via Napalm Records, shows their alluring devotion to the craft, as it is a rendition of an actual medieval song! Their version of celebrated German poet Walther von der Vogelweide’s 13th-century “Palestine Song”, one of the most famous surviving medieval songs, bestows a special historicism upon TABERNIS’ alluring debut.

TABERNIS about “Mel Obscurum (Palästinalied)”:
“We have covered the instrumental version of this iconic medieval masterpiece, which is known to everyone. Out of deep respect for the original work, we decided to adapt it to our own style. In our version, the music is interwoven with a text evoking the season of our Dark Hive: Vespera—the rest, the twilight. As the cold covers the land, the bees huddle together to protect their Queen and preserve the heart of the hive.”

Hear the call: TABERNIS summon the shadows for their debut album, Seasons of the Dark Hive, coming April 24, 2026 via Napalm Records. Born out of a passion for history, the enigmatic folk duo created an immersive sound, with bagpipes and davul bringing medieval times to life. TABERNIS intertwine ancient tradition and dark mysticism, their haunting harmonies gifting melodies to the delicate art of beekeeping. Already having performed at major festivals like Wacken and Summer Breeze Open Air off of their debut EP, Seasons of the Dark Hive will divulge more of the band’s secrets to an ever-growing following.

Crafting captivating tunes from echoes of the past, TABERNIS explore age-old heritage with an almost other-worldly charm. Reaching out into the darkness, the duo arranges an ethereal undertow as seductive as honey. Seasons of the Dark Hive is an intoxicating experience, an alluring journey into the shadows. Amidst the bees, you are never alone. Together, we rise. Welcome to the Dark Hive.

TABERNIS about Seasons of the Dark Hive:
“The album Season of the Dark Hive came to life naturally, without ever forcing anything. We let the energies that live within us come out in an authentic way, using the keys we have at our disposal. With the support of Napalm Records, we can deliver quality work and open the world of TABERNIS to humans from all horizons. We drew from cultures and musical styles from all eras, from everything that has inspired us through the ages, while keeping our foundation: drum & bagpipe. This is only the beginning of the story. The energies of the seasons guide our lives and our strength, just as they do on this album.”

Expanding their apiary with fifteen tracks, TABERNIS weave pervasive compositions in sacred tradition. Setting the mood as the first call to the eternal dance is “Sanctus”, a summoning of voices, a rhythmic reminder of the strength in many. Following, the duo offers an array of moody instrumentals, some buoyantly buzzing (“Tenebrae”, “Sylvanot”), some pensively droning (“Noctilis”)—all of them mesmerizing. With “Mel Obscurum (Palästinalied)”, TABERNIS devote themselves to one of the most famous surviving medieval songs. Their rendition of celebrated German poet Walther von der Vogelweide’s 13th-century “Palestine Song” bestows a special historicism upon Seasons of the Dark Hive. “Hive Dance (Bransle du maître de la maison)” stands with similar history, originating from a late medieval French dance tune. The melodies, mainly conducted by only two instruments, are enriched by the subtle presence of a Dark Monk on strings and, on rare occasions, distorted whispers and the soothing humming of bustling bees, consistently conjuring a unique atmosphere. Seasons of the Dark Hive is an apicultural ritual, and TABERNIS take the lead.
