THE BLACK SKELETON have unleashed a sonic storm with their new single, “The Snake“. Following their previous single, “Swear“, released on April 18, this dynamic rock band shows no signs of slowing down. According to the band’s frontman, Quinn Gardener Kane, “The Snake“ defies expectations and delivers an irresistible dose of rock ‘n roll fun. With its electrifying sound and infectious energy, this track is bound to leave listeners craving more.

Quinn Gardener-Kane, the artistic force behind The Black Skeleton, provides a refreshing take on their latest release. Rejecting lofty pretenses, Kane describes “The Snake” as a thrilling and unapologetic celebration of rock music. The band’s ability to merge hauntingly familiar elements with an unbridled sense of fun sets them apart in the contemporary music scene. The Black Skeleton‘s forthcoming album ‘The Rear View‘ will be available on Golden Robot Records later in the year.

Melbourne based singer-songwriter Quinn Gardener-Kane, has been making what started as a fun journey of writing and recording with other super creative friends, into an emotive rock ‘n roll beast all of its own.
The Black Skeleton is a window to the inner thoughts and stories of Quinn’s life experiences; some dark, some haunting, but always personal. The themes and depth of this collection of songs will resonate, provoke and have a different point of resonation with each listen.

Quinn has sought after, and secured, some of Australia’s most accomplished musicians to assist in the final recordings, and form the live band to showcase these amazing, kick ass songs.

Norwegian death metallers, CADAVER will unleash their sixth studio album, The Age Of The Offended, on July 21, 2023, via Nuclear Blast Records. True to the band’s primitive roots and an audacious, ground-breaking, psychedelic horror show, the album is an angry, fucked up album for angry, fucked up times, defiantly created against the odds.

Today, CADAVER release the second single from the album entitled, ‘Scum Of The Earth’.

Anders Odden comments, “‘Scum Of The Earth’ is about all the black/white thinkers in the world. The loud voices of polarization in politics and religion blur our understanding of anything. There is no cure for stupidity and we just have to accept that humanity never stops to disappoint.”

BURNING WITCHES Reveal Official Live Performance Video for ‘Evil Witch’

Swiss heavy metal unit BURNING WITCHES have revealed a brand new official live performance video for “Evil Witch”, off of their fresh fifth studio album and Napalm Records debut, The Dark Tower, which dropped last month. The album has already received great attention from critics and fans alike and was peaking at #3 on the official Swiss album charts. Old school heavy metal influences are strong on the blazing witchcraft anthem “Evil Witch”. The epic video gives a taste of what is to be expected when the Witches take the stage. Together with the new visual comes the announcement that BURNING WITCHES are set to support KK’s PRIEST on their upcoming UK tour!

BURNING WITCHES will open for K.K.’s Priest, the new band of legendary Judas Priest guitarist K.K. Downing and singer Tim “Ripper” Owens, together with ex-Iron Maiden vocalist Paul Di’Anno’s solo project.

Romana Kalkuhl (Guitars) states:
“I am overjoyed to share the stage with this legends! Also the fact, that Tim “Ripper” Owens is one of my absolute favorite singers makes this UK tour even more exciting for me. Since I was a little kid, I was listening to both bands, Maiden & Priest. It is Heavy Metal education somehow, so we are super thrilled to be a part of the legacy of these outstanding musicians! We will storm the stages in the UK with great joy and a big dose of euphoria – see you soon metalheads!”

On fifteen energetic tracks, BURNING WITCHES ring the bells for a midnight mass in smoky-warm bars. Opening with “Unleash The Beast”, roaring, dueling guitars battle each other with top-notch, fast-paced performances while the energy of the song rises to its climax when the sharp voice of singer Laura Guldemond combines with powerful harmonies. “World On Fire” first gets the listener’s pulse pumping due to the rising tension of flashy guitar work, before melodic six-string solos unite with unbeatable guitar onslaughts and sophisticated drum attacks – underlining conjuring vocal lines that call out for an evening zombie dance! Restless and intense, the fierce women of BURNING WITCHES shred their instruments on The Dark Tower like no other, but with the soft mid-tempo track “Tomorrow”, the witches settle down to gather their strength for just a moment.

Bittersweet melodies float up to the sky like weightless feathers, carrying a message of five confident women. Ready again to gradually increase the tempo, “Heart Of Ice” and “Arrow Of Time” ensnare with extravagant guitar tapping and heroic vocals by Laura, while “The Lost Souls” merges devilish staccato and legato riffs, creating an ominous atmosphere amid the bewitching screams of the five Swiss enchantresses. With their new studio album, BURNING WITCHES not only bring back the glory days of heavy metal, but push it beyond – trapping the soul of each listener with energetic performances on The Dark Tower.
