LIONHEART to Release New Studio Album “The Grace Of A Dragonfly” on February 23rd

LIONHEART release new studio album “The Grace Of A Dragonfly” on February 23rd 2024 on Metalville Records.

As soon as the previous album “The Reality Of Miracles” hit the shelves in 2020 Lionheart knuckled down to record the next one. deciding early on that this time they would produce a concept album. The record centres around WW2, but the band very much wanted to make this an anti-war album, while at the same time remembering those who fought for our freedom.

The songs on the album are sensational, with Lee Small’s emotional lyrics reflecting not only the pain and grief inflicted by war on ordinary, innocent people in every conflict zone, but also their strength, resilience and determination. Supported by Lionheart’s superb songwriting, soaring backing vocals, beautiful twin guitar harmonies, and atmospheric keyboards, Lionheart’s sheer power shines brightly from every one of the eleven songs, culminating in a heartfelt prayer for peace in the world.

Each new Lionheart album has brought with it a leap in the quality of the songwriting and production and this album is no exception. “The Grace Of A Dragonfly” is nothing short of epic and is by far Lionheart’s finest work to date.

Bermuda Triangle’s PIRATE QUEEN Release First Single ‘Pirates from the Sea’, Debut Album “Ghosts” Out February 23rd

To commemorate the International Day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women, PIRATE QUEEN’s debut single “Pirates from the Sea” is released today, November 24, 2023 via Despotz records. The release of the album in February 2024, will fit perfectly in timing with the new Pirates Of The Caribbean movie that Disney will release next year.

Watch the official Music video for the first single “Pirates of the Sea”, below.

About the band:
Discovering Pirate Queen is like finding Eldorado. The album Ghosts has such addictive melodies, and it is so catchy that after a few listenings, it might transform you into a pirate. The songs are done with the mastery of mixing precious power metal with pirate, fantasy, symphonic, and fantasy elements. The beautiful guitar melodies and enchanting vocals of Her Majesty Maria Aurea offer explosions of notes and harmonies with a massive production that make this album a pirate metal masterpiece. Pirate Queen is more than a regular heavy metal band. When listening to the album, it will submerge you into a story that sparks imagination. You will enter a new universe and experience the music on a different level. From ice-cold Arctic guitar parts to mysterious vocal harmonies and a haunted sea atmosphere, to warm Tropical adventure metal orchestration, you will find yourself floating in the beautiful world of Pirate Queen. The album is magical, with a real story behind it. When you close your eyes, it will take you on a breathtaking journey where you will meet pirates, sirens, and ghosts. Pirate Queen is the first all-female metal band that combines music and LARP at their live shows. They use Epic Armoury weapons exclusively, wear Museum Replicas boots, and produce their own Pirate Queen Sikkim Gin. Each member has her own character with unique characteristics, abilities, and even weapons. Five new talented musicians whose real identities seem to be a bit of a mystery. Beautiful ladies, demons, ghosts? Formed in 1523? Are they returning after 500 years?

Descendants of famous pirates have settled all over the world. Their kingdoms control the world’s seas to this day. In their society, women hold the highest positions. Some born in this world, others sent from outer worlds, all loyally serve their queen. The old nautical chronicles mention a time when a group of five girls will come together. Who are related and united by the gift of piracy. In the ungodly year 2023, the New Pirate Queen took over the command and continues the tradition of her ancestors. To charm and loot. Their Pirate Kingdom’s capital, Lyxion, is a mystical floating island that floats around the Bermuda Triangle.

RIFFORIA to Release New Studio Album “Axeorcism” on February 23rd

The new RIFFORIA studio album “Axeorcism” will be released on February 23rd 2024 at Metalville Records.

TUCK FROM HELL did a sensational album debut 12 years ago with “Thrashing”. The band was already a celebrated live act so the road to glory was there.

However, destiny had other plans and the band was put to rest. Almost.

Drummer and band leader Fredrik Johansson and guitar players Petrus Granar and Marcus Bengts continued to write music.

When Petrus Granar was invited join to the band Civil War, featuring Fredriks father Nils Patrik Johansson on vocals, the band turned into a duo.

“It felt really strange to sit on a bunch of kick ass thrash songs without doing anything with them. Our singer Niclas Ingels had no time to focus on music due to his family situation so what to do? From out of nowhere my dad, Nils Patrik, said: what the hell, I can sing for you. Let’s make a full album.

I was a bit sceptic at first since he’s a pure heavy metal singer but then I realized that in the beginning most thrash bands had “real” heavy metal vocals not growl.

The rest is, or will be history. We changed name to Rifforia, started the recordings, had a lot of fun and with mixing genius Martin Haglund in charge everything went smooth. Petrus Granar also came back to play some guitar on the album. He was a lot of help.” (Fredrik Johansson)

“Axeorcism” delivers ten statements of real strong, modern Heavy Metal and is going to continue the successful story of Swedish Hard and Heavy releases on Metalville Records.
