Timea Göghova, after successfully passing the Live Auditions of the new edition of Tour Music Fest – The European Music Contest is heading to the Republic of San Marino for the Final of the Singer-Songwriter category.

Timea Göghova is to perform at the final event scheduled for December 2nd at the Teatro Nuovo Di San Marino in the presence of Beppe Vessicchio, Monica Hill, Francesco Rapaccioli, Paola Folli, and the much-awaited Kara DioGuardi, a former judge from American Idol and songwriter for Pink, Demi Lovato, Anastacia, and many other internationally renowned artists.

The achievement by Timea Göghova, aged 44 auditioning in Austria, is truly significant considering that over 20,000 artists and bands participated from all over Europe. She will now face the final musical challenge that must be passed in order to step onto the stage of the Grand Finale on December 2nd at the Teatro Nuovo in the Republic of San Marino, the same location that hosted the Sammarinese finals of the Eurovision Song Contest.

The singer-songwriter managed to impress the demanding Tour Music Fest artistic panel and fully deserves a place in the Final Steps of the Festival, which will be held from November 27th to December 2nd in the wonderful setting of the Republic of San Marino, within the event Tour Music Fest: Music Meeting Festival, an event dedicated to emerging music and those who want to work in the music industry. Over 50 free events, amongst which 15 Masterclasses with Italian and international music industry professionals accompanied by many shows and concerts.

During the TMF Finals, the performances of the finalists of this new edition will take place and Timea Göghova, after this important and demanding test, may perform in the Grand Finale in the presence of the head of our international panel, Kara DioGuardi, and the top representatives of the music industry. A dream for all emerging artists for Timea Göghova started with a live performance in Vienne last July, and now She will have the responsibility and honor of representing her own country in the Tour Music Fest Singer-Songwriter category.

Timea Göghova convinced the Tour Music Fest panel with her artistic talent and determination, demonstrating a decidedly rare ability to play with music, voice, and sound, qualities certainly useful to pursue the dream of reaching the Grand Finale, a stage that has seen dozens of emerging artists who have now become great professionals in the industry, such as Mahmood, Ermal Meta, Federica Carta, and many others, and win the fantastic prizes at stake, such as a European tour, a scholarship at Berklee – College of Music in Boston, the production of a single offered by Riunite a TMF sponsor, musical instruments offered by Algam Eko, and a sponsorship contract worth 10,000 euros to invest in her own music.

The next appointment for Timea Göghova with Tour Music Fest will be on November 30th at the Teatro Titano in San Marino for the final of the Singer-Songwriter category!

24/7 DIVA HEAVEN + TEAM SCHEISSE to Kick Off FLINTA WINTA Tour in December

Berlin-based riot grrrls 24/7 DIVA HEAVEN and punk rock act TEAM SCHEISSE have teamed up for a tour, that has never been done before.

With their highly acclaimed 2021-debut “Stress”, 24/7 DIVA HEAVEN left a remarkable stamp in the heavy music scene, while a steady growing fanbase and countless shows such as high- voltage performances at festivals alike Desertfest Berlin, Stoned From The Underground or the Pop-Kultur Festival should follow. Musically, they cross the references of Punk, Noise, Grunge into the Riot Grrrl sound of the 90’s, with a loud and clear message. Feminism, inequality, homophobia, racism, xenophobia or ecological problems are important issues to the band – but never without a good dose of having fun. These ladies manage this balanced act in an impressive and charismatic way: Bringing up a serious matter with a laugh. Holding up the mirror and write your opinion on it but with a lipstick. 24/7 DIVAHEAVEN’s music nails it, and maybe it’s also the perfect soundtrack in these current times, to be wild, loud, angry and yet surrounded by a lot of glitter and glamour!

The band has played on national German TV WDR Rock Palast and toured with acts such as BEATSTEAKS, as well as TEAM SCHEISSE. Now, both scene acts are gearing up for the first FLINTA-only tour ever, with 6 dates in Germany! The German term FLINTA stands for Female, Lesbian, Intersex, Nonbinary, Transgender, and Agender. CIS men are NOT allowed in. Who is cis male? Anyone who was assigned gender “male” at birth and continues to identify as a man.

“The “Flinta Winta Tour” with 24/7 Diva Heaven and Team Scheisse is much more than a classic concert series – but an experience exclusively for FLINTA people,” the bands state. “The tour includes six club shows in Cologne, Wiesbaden, Münster, Hamburg, Berlin and Hanover and aims to create a safer space where FLINTA people can fully enjoy a punk concert by both bands.

Our decision to exclude cis men from this tour comes from a desire to create a safe space where FLINTA individuals can experience their passion for music without restrictions.

To support this vision, a trained awareness person accompanies us throughout the tour, supporting us at entry and during the club shows. The clubs in which we perform share our convictions and actively implement them. Because it is important to us that our fans can feel comfortable in a respectful and supportive environment.”

There’s black metal. There’s death metal. And then, there’s NECROWRETCH.

The French band combine the best of both worlds into music made straight from the depths of hell. After setting a merciless pace with Satanic Slavery and The Ones From Hell, Necrowretch are back and ready to rip open a fresh and bloody chapter of fiery blasts and twisted riffs.

Today, Necrowretch are announcing their fifth and fieriest offering yet. Swords of Dajjal cuts closer to black metal but continues the band’s exploration into Satanism and other anti-theist iconography. Heck, these songs are so dark and devilish, that Necrowretch sound like the musical manifestation of the Anti-Christ.

Swords of Dajjal comes out February 2, 2024.

1. Ksar Al-Kufar (4:22)
2. The Fifth Door (5:30)
3. Dii Mauri (5:07)
4. Swords of Dajjal (4:56)
5. Numidian Knowledge (4:12) [WATCH VIDEO]
6. Vae Victis (4:18)
7. Daeva (2:49)
8. Total Obliteration (6:13)

Total: 37:27

Lead single “Numidian Knowledge” is a vile concoction of metal both blackened and deadly. N. Destroyer pounds out frantic double-bass kicks. W. Cadaver’s riff are hot and sharp enough to peel skin, while Vlad’s screams and shrieks baptize you in the fires of hell.

“Wisdom lies below the great Imedjasen”, says Necrowretch. “It is told that one who breaks the seal shall be blessed with infinite fortune… But his self will be condemned to endless suffering”.

Now entering their fifteenth year as a band, France’s NECROWRETCH are about to open the most ambitious chapter of their career with Swords Of Dajjal, their three-years-in-the-making fifth album.

Initially the sole work of multi-instrument and vision leader Vlad, the band was originally for better and for worse lumped in the ‘old school death metal revival’ of the early 10’s. Yet while their debut Putrid Death Sorcery did bear indeed all the usual suspects of said genre, it nevertheless already had that extra, raw-as-fuck and just plain vicious element that really set them apart from the rest of the pack. Conforming to the norm was never in question and instead of selling out or trying to slow things down, as true misfits as they are, the went the exact opposite direction, first with 2015’s With Serpents Scourge, only to be vigorously confirmed by its furious follow-up, and first for Season Of Mist, 2017’s Satanic Slavery. To the point where once the touring cycle was over for the latter, Vlad himself felt he had explored this direction as far as he could have and that changes were on the horizon.

“On Satanic Slavery we on purpose took things as far as we could as our goal was to deliver the most bestial album possible. But once we achieved that goal, I knew we had to take a slightly different if still as uncompromised direction.” Incidentally, that’s when Wenceslas Carrieu from CADAVERIC FUMES entered the picture, first as a momentary live session on bass. But when second stringer Kev Desecrator vowed to amicably part way with the band to focus on DESTRÖYER 666, he switched to six-strings and proved to be the valuable songwriting partner Vlad had been looking for since the departure of the band original bass player Amphycion in 2015. “He immediately came up with lots of ideas and thanks to him, we now have a whole new dynamic: a bit like Sepultura had back in the days in between Max Cavalera and Andreas Kisser, with me focusing now on my vocals and playing rhythm guitars while Wenceslas takes care of all the solos, the starting riffs and the off-the-map bits.

With their fourth album, and first with Wencelas, The Ones From Hell was only one month old, Necrowretch was about to tour Europe with both KAMPFAR and TAAKE for three weeks. A tour bus was booked, the set was well-rehearsed, everything was ready and then… disaster struck. “Six days before we were due to play our first show, the whole thing was cancelled. Then COVID hit us and the world was basically shut down. We were numb for a couple of days but soon realized that the best way to bounce back was to move forward so we instantly started working on new songs.” The result is Swords Of Dajjal by far, their biggest, boldest and most ambitious production ever.

“We spent no less than three years working on the songs, demoeing them and finetuning the details and rehearsing them as a three-piece and six weeks in the studio with Francis Caste (HANGMAN’S CHAIR, REGARDE LES HOMMES TOMBER, SVART CROWN etc.). Prior to that, we used to be a pure product of the underground, with albums done in just a couple of days whom were never 100% satisfied with in the end as we had to rush everything. We’re still very underground, mind you. But this time around, we knew we had to give it all, no matter what. So we started by changing our gear, our sound and our tuning. And once we entered the studio, we for instance spent a whole day just testing different amps just to get the right sound and crunch we were looking for. I even took some singing lessons to gain more depth and power. In a way, it almost feels like a whole new band.”

The whole record was written on purpose mostly on acoustic twelve-string guitars (“the idea was that if it sounds good and catchy that way, it’d be even better with distortion”) and as a three-piece, “something we hadn’t done in a long time” with their new drummer Nicolas Ferrero, not exactly a newcomer as he’s been playing on and off live with them since 2018. The result is, according to Vlad, “our most black metal record, with splashes of death metal here and there. Whereas on the previous album all tempos were pushed to the extreme, there’s far more variety here to be found. It also gave us free reins to reach a more mystical, Biblical if you will vibe” fed by his experience living in Turkey in the late 10’s. “We choose to focus on the Dajjal character, basically the antichrist in the Muslim religion. The Coran says that he’ll appear as a false prophet only to bring doom to this world, with an army of demons coming from the east.” Represented on the cover of the album with his double edged sword and bathed in the same kind of reddish and orangey mesmerizing lights one can experience when the sun sets on wind-beaten deserts, all eight songs on the album are prophecies, past and future, where Dajjal plays the leading role.

Now completed on bass by R. Cadaver (former CADAVERIC FUMES vocalist) who officially joined once the recording was done after playing as a live session member for the last two years, and armed with their biggest, most complex and intense album of their career, Necrowretch are about to yield their sword of destruction and exterminate everything in sight.

Ωblivion Gate to Release “Thrill Kill Noir” Album in 2024, First Single + Video ‘Acolyte’ Revealed

Ωblivion Gate emerges from the murky waters of darkest dreams and fates undone to shade our melancholy in the colors of the apocalyptic love song, “Acolyte”, taken from the forthcoming third full-length album, ‘Thrill Kill Noir’.

“I am insane and you are my insanity”
-12 Monkeys

Love opened the door and I let you inside. You are entranced in the sinister hypnosis of this infatuation, and now you know what I am. Now you know what you are too. Peer behind the veil, through the smoke and mirrors of warm and beautiful sentiments into the nightmare paradise of intimate devotion, no matter what.

Will you be an Acolye?
Or will you perish in the fires of sacrifice?

Listen to the “Acolyte” on music services: https://push.fm/fl/obliviongate-acolyte

Composed by Matron Thorn
Lyrics by Matron Thorn

Formed as a doom metal project in Finland in 2018 by Florida-born artist and musician Matron Thorn, the music of Ωblivion Gate did, even then, strain classification as it ventured irresponsibly into experimental realms hitherto untraversed. The debut ATMF full-length album, “Wisdom of the Grave”, was a doom metal flirtation with early 90s grunge and gothic rock, setting the stage in underground acclaim for what would eventually sever ties with metal altogether in favor of a gothic industrial flavor on the 2022 sophomore release, “Flowers in the Wreckage of Dreams”, told as the narrative of a young starlet fled from small time life to chase her bubblegum dreams of becoming a star in the city of angels, all to a harrowingly melancholy and beautiful conclusion. Electro beats, ethereal synths, abrasive but purposeful guitars, and sinister vocals mingled with seductive female voices created a dark, dreamlike drive through his dreary South Florida underworld, not unlike Matron Thorn’s hometown goth industrial icons Marilyn Manson at his most fucked up and depressed.

Ωblivion Gate metamorphoses yet again, standing entirely on the merits of their own evolution into something wholly original and brazen in it’s murky darkness on the forthcoming full-length, “Thrill Kill Noir'”; a nightbound meditation of the beauty in our obsessions, in our vices, in our voyeurism, in our depravity, and the prestige in our mastery of it.

A lineup capable of live performances has been assembled to support and elevate the voidlike seduction of Ωblivion Gate to higher planes of euphoria.

January 12nd will see heavy rock act RAVENSTINE release their sophomore studio album, titled  2024, via Massacre Records. Available as CD Digipak, Ltd. Vinyl LP and Digital formats, the pre-sale has just recently started at: https://lnk.to/ravenstine2024

Today, the five-piece is presenting a new single and music video, for the album opening track “Black Is The Brightest Color”, which “is a very personal song by Martin, who wrote about his depression illness, which he was diagnosed with just over 10 years ago,” the band reveals. “In the song Martin tries to outline how it feels when the sun is shining outside and everyone is happy, while you yourself are sitting in a darkened room and don’t know why you are feeling bad right now.

In this case it was the first time that we had a text before the music. The music was created around the lyrics, so to speak. The song is important to us, because we have noticed during the pandemic, that more and more people have to fight this disease. Remarks like “It’ll be alright” are not uncommon, but unfortunately they don’t help.”

“Black Is The Brightest Color” is now available on all digital services at: https://ravenstine.bfan.link/blackisthebrightestcolor, a video clip is now premiering here:

Hailing from Croatia, Germany and Ireland, RAVENSTINE was formed during the pandemic; their self-titled debut was released earlier this year. With 2024, RAVENSTINE step it up and present themselves even more musically mature and cohesive than they did on their much-acclaimed, first full-length album. Lyrically, RAVENSTINE charge on as they began and call up various topics, some of a darker nature such as depression, or the prospect of one’s eventual demise. RAVENSTINE‘s colour-and sound-palette is broad.

2024 was recorded and mixed by band members Hanno Kerstan and John A.B.C. Smith, with a mastering by Dan Baune at Noise Foundry Productions. The stunning cover artwork was created by Frank Fiedler of Greenfeed Digital Ar.

2024 track listing:

  1. Black Is The Brightest Color
  2. Easy Come Easy Go
