Greek AEONS IN SOLITUDE have release First Official Video ‘Dreamer’ from their upcoming album “Black Lumina”, out May 15th.
Aeons In Solitude is a metal band from Athens, Greece, formed by Vocalist and composer Alex Roussos on May 2016. It all started as a solo project, but later turned into a full band on May 2018. Their debut album, entitled ‘’Mourning Cloak’’ was released on 22th April 2020 via Rock Company (NL). Its sound consists of Doom/Gothic Metal with progressive elements. It was recorded, mixed and mastered at Fragile Studio in Athens by Vangelis Yalamas. Now, the band’s second album entitled ‘’Black Lumina’’ is scheduled to be released on 15th May 2026 by Soman Records (FR). Its sound shifts towards Gothic Rock and Darkwave, moving away from its Doom Metal roots while retaining a strong sense of darkness and melancholy, now expressed through atmospheric textures, synth-driven elements and a more introspective tone. The album was recorded, mixed and mastered at Fragile Studio in Athens, by Vangelis Yalamas.

US brutal death metal force EMBRYONIC AUTOPSY strike with full force through their new single and official video “Feasting Upon The Rotted Uterus”, the first devastating taste of the upcoming studio album “Rise Of The Mutated, set for release on June 5th, 2026 via Massacre Records.
With “Feasting Upon The Rotted Uterus”, EMBRYONIC AUTOPSY immediately reaffirm their commitment to uncompromising old school brutal death metal. Fueled by blazing guitar work, guttural vocals, punishing drums and savage groove-laden riffing, the track delivers a relentless and grotesque assault that perfectly captures the band’s signature sound.
Serving as the opening strike from “Rise Of The Mutated”, the song showcases the band at their most vicious and refined. Combining the raw extremity of early ‘90s death metal with a modern level of precision and crushing production, EMBRYONIC AUTOPSY once again prove why they have become one of the most respected names in the contemporary underground brutal death metal scene.
“Rise Of The Mutated” marks the final chapter in the band’s conceptual trilogy, following “Prophecies Of The Conjoined” (2022) and “Origins Of The Deformed” (2024). Expanding the story of alien intervention, genetic experimentation and the rise of hybrid lifeforms, the new album promises the most intense and fully realized installment of the saga.
Driven by vocalist Tim King (Oppressor, SOiL) and guitarist Scott Roberts (ex-Otep), the band channel their long-standing fascination with extraterrestrial mythology into a grotesque and cinematic death metal experience, combining savage lyrical themes with punishing musical execution.
The album also features outstanding guest appearances from legendary guitarist James Murphy (Death, Obituary), who performs multiple solos throughout the record, alongside Terrance Hobbs of Suffocation.
Produced and mixed by Scott Roberts and mastered by Ulrich Wild (Pantera, Dethklok) at Wilderness Studios, “Rise Of The Mutated” delivers a powerful and organic sound built for true death metal devotees.
In support of the new release, EMBRYONIC AUTOPSY will join forces with death metal legends Six Feet Under for an extensive European tour in June 2026, bringing their devastating live performance to stages across the continent.

Finnish death metal band Devenial Verdict revealed a new song from their upcoming release titled “Old Blood – Fresh Wounds” which sees the band dishing out powerful, catchy death metal.
The premiere done by No Clean Singing can be found AT THIS LINK.
“(We) congratulate Devenial Verdict on not only surviving for 20 years but continuing to make such tremendously good death metal.”
“This release celebrates the 20th anniversary of Devenial Verdict. We wanted to update some of our older songs on this EP; these songs mark some of the most important musical moments of us as a band. We have the first instances of dissonance in our music and the seeds of our melancholic and atmospheric leanings; we have brutal passages and rare instances of melody. It was really eye opening to realise that all the influences were there all along! Some of these songs have never been properly released and exist only as live videos captured at our shows.
We wanted to add Soulthirst EP to this release since 2026 marks the 10 year anniversary for that release. Soulthirst functions as the bridge between all of our older material and our current sound, which we fully unleashed on Ash Blind in 2022.”

Excerpt from the chat
When Asked How Ozzy Osbourne brought the band on his first solo tour after hearing their first single on the radio
“Yeah. Friday Rock show. Oh, yeah. I mean, you know, Ozzy wants you to open up on four dates on the Blizzard of Oz tour. Ohh-kay. Right. And, it changed our lives. . That was pretty awesome because I remember them being kind of like they weren’t sure of themselves. They were saying I don’t know if people are are really digging this because the record had just been out not long and they were saying I wonder if we’re going to be able to keep this going and it was to look back on it now cuz it’s like you know like a great record. I don’t understand why they were thinking that way. Legendary it was so good . Lee Kerslake, from Uriah Heap. We got to meet all these people. It was great. What an amazing thing. And they were incredible. And the flip side of that experience for us was the crew who were absolute bastards. Yeah. And treated us like uh slime, you know. Yeah. Like garbage. But yeah, it’s part of that was part of gigging in England at the time. “
When asked about if they plan on doing a new documentary
” Yeah. We actually pretty much worked out the details and we’re starting work on it. There’s going to be a Raven documentary, like a full document. The last one was difficult because it wasn’t funded right and um actually I did a lot of the editing stuff for it and it was such a learning curve for me, if anybody’s ever been involved in something like that, it’s just a huge uh kind of learning curve. And so now this time we have like really professional people involved and we’ll be able to do I think a better job of telling the story cuz it’s quite a tale when you look at all the different angles and things that we’ve been through. And we were just talking earlier about it. A lot of the people who were involved in the beginning of this are gone. You know, even people like Johnny Z who was really uh integral to our success in the States and a lot of the different players are not around anymore. So even just our contemporaries a lot of them are gone. So yeah, so it’s pretty cool that we’re still standing.”
“Wild ‘N’ Loud” is DEMONESSA at full power ready to take on the world!
All the songs on this album are an embodiment of the ‘80s heavy metal we all know and love. While every song on the album is brand new, they also have a familiar feel that fits right into any playlist, like they’ve always been there.
There are 12 songs, racking up to almost one hour of straight hard-rocking future classics, which really makes it like an all-you-can-eat buffet for heavy metal fans, there’s something for pretty much everyone in there. From arena filling anthems to speeding tickets guaranteeing high-speed hits and emotional ballads, the album covers the full spectrum of classic heavy metal.
