Time To Kill Records is proud to announce the signing of Polish death metal band SHODAN, one of the most exciting bands of the Polish underground, capable of merging death metal with progressive and experimental flavours.
The band is currently putting the finishing touches to the new album “None Shall Prevail”, which will be released in 2023.
SHODAN is a death metal three-piece conceived in Wrocław, Poland in 2013. Distinctive style of the band is a unique hybrid of death metal brutality, progressive approach towards song structures and melodies deeply rooted in cold wave aesthetics. In 2015 SHODAN together with producer Arkadiusz “Malta” Malczewski recorded tracks for their debut LP called “Protocol of Dying”. The record was released in spring 2016 under the cooperative flags of Defense Records and Deformeathing Production. The album was followed by a dozen of live appearances with acts like Sinister, Absu, Beheaded or Rotting Christ as well as appearances at festivals such as Gothoom, Into the Abyss, Metalmania or Castle Party.
After a successful cooperation with producer Kuba Mańkowski (Azarath, Behemoth, Blindead), in April 2020, the band released “Death, Rule Over Us” via Deformeathing Productions, which introduces a slightly different approach towards music with more experiments, raw, organic sound and cold wave melodic influneces involved. The album was again followed by a series of gigs with Hate, Krzysztof Drabikowski’s Batushka, Rotting Christ and Blood Incantation, and summer festivals, like Summer Dying Loud.
In 2023 SHODAN signed a record deal with Time To Kill Records to release their newest opus “None Shall Prevail”.

April 21, 203 will see WASTELAND CLAN release their hotly-anticipated debut album, entitled The End Of Time, through Massacre Records. Following a previously-released, first single – the album title track – today, the post-apocalyptic metal prophets have premiered a music video for new track “Rising Storm”!
Suited in the garments of the last days, it is finally time for demoness Lilith Fox, Mashl J. (a.k.a. the Messiah), and their three prophets Rayzon, Zach Volcanic and Smoky 616 to heed their destiny, to carry out salvation to the world. All that is left after the apocalypse is combined on record: Hate and fear but also hope, brutal as well as earthshaking drums and enchanting choirs, stories of death as well as guidance for the lost and unbelieving. “The 10 new songs are each assigned to one of the “New 10 Commandments” of the WASTELAND CLAN“, the band recently explained.
“”Rising Storm” is our dirge, a reminder of all those who have gone before us”, the clan comments. “We face the dark storm of grief and hopelessness with strong faith. The End Of Time was produced by WASTELAND CLAN, and was mixed and mastered by Oliver Schmidt at Sirius Sound Lab. Season of Mist is proud to announce the signing of PSYGNOSIS! The French cosmic metal extremists will release its brand new album via Season of Mist in the Summer of 2023!

PSYGNOSIS is a project started in 2009 by Rémi Vanhove, who was eager to gather all of his musical influences into one entity. A first solo EP, “Phrases”, was released in June 2009 and lays the foundations of PSYGNOSIS‘ music: an atmospheric extreme Metal with hints of electronic music. Rémi then surrounded himself with a second guitarist, a bassist and a singer, and continues to program the drums himself.
The first album “Anti-Sublime” was released in January 2012 and allowed the band to continue the artistic process started with “Phrases”. This release also marked the first encounters of the quartet with the public. After the EP “Sublimation” in 2013, Psygnosis came out with a second album in 2014. “Human Be[ing]” shows that the band has gained in maturity, through better digested influences and compositions whose structures become more complex.
The year 2015 marks an important change for PSYGNOSIS: The band made the radical choice to become instrumental by recruiting Raphaël Verguin as a cellist. A first EP “AAliens” followed, followed up by the full length “Neptune” in 2017, an ambitious opus of one hour and seventeen minutes inviting the listeners to travel to the ends of the Solar System.
Despite the instrumental aspect, PSYGNOSIS continues to assert its first intention: that of a Metal mixing nervous riffs, blast beats and atmospheric ambiences. The meeting of Rémi and Raphaël with the guitarist Elise Masliah and the drummer Thomas Crémier enables the quartet to stabilize its formation and to defend on stage PSYGNOSIS‘ intense and emotional music.
The pandemic gave the band time to work serenely on their new album, which will be released via Season of Mist later this year.
Finnish Industrial Metal band Pentatonik is back with a new name and line-up and it’s now called ALFA PENTATONIK. The first single Pelkojemme perintö is released today via Inverse Records.

Biography
Pentatonik is a Finnish industrial metal band that was formed in the beginning 2000 and it is now coming back with full force. The band has been on a break since 2006, when their last EP “Hellä” was released and band member separated their ways.
Pentatonik did a comeback in 2007, but life got on the way again and the only release was “Pohjakosketus” EP, which was published only on JP Immonen‘s (Walhalla, Iron Frost & Aria of Sorrow) Soundcloud account.
In 2012 Pentatonik got their second album “Lopullinen Ratkaisu” (Final Solution of Mankind) ready. It was started with the original band members before their 2006 breakup and was finished by JP and AP. Album was released as a digital download, and it was used to collect money for the Torture Victims.
2022 was a new start to the band. JP Immonen (only original member and founder of the band) started to go through old files and create new music for the band and to honour the original Pentatonik, named it “Alfa Pentatonik”. Janne Partanen (Hautajaisyö, Marraskuun Lapset & Uhriristi) was found to do vocals and also lyrics.
Alfa Pentatonik is currently making new songs and remaking old ones. As a new beginning the band is releasing “Pelkojemme Perintö” (Legacy of Our Fears) a hard hitting songs that takes inspiration from Rammstein and Ministry. The song tells about evolution and how it has made us who we are.
The Band started working with Inverse Records and their catchy and bleak songs will be released soon.

The September UK tour precedes tomorrow’s release of the Wreck’s 4-track digital EP “One Of A Kind.” Released by Journeyman Records, the EP will feature the band’s new title track single “One Of A Kind” produced by eight-time Grammy Award winner Dave Cobb (Chris Stapleton, Brandi Carlile, Blackberry Smoke, Rival Sons).
“We had the absolute honour of working with Dave Cobb on this one at the legendary RCA Studio A in Nashville, Tennessee,” says Robert Jon & The Wreck’s guitarist, Henry James Schneekluth. “This song started off with a riff from Henry and a riff from Robert and Dave just kinda took it and flew with it. We got to nerd out on a bunch of old guitars, amps, and fuzz boxes for this one and really get some fun sounds dialled in as well.”
Continues Henry, “Everything happened so quickly working with Dave that we didn’t really even have time to process what was going on! And we were all blown away listening to the end result!”
