Corrosion Of Conformity are currently working on new material with New Orleans drummer Stanton Moore, for an eventual new release on Nuclear Blast.

The band’s latest studio album No Cross No Crown was released in 2018 to rapturous praise from fans and peers alike. Iconic guitarist and vocalist Pepper Keenan has returned to the fold, with No Cross No Crown arriving as C.O.C’s first studio album to feature Keenan since 2005’s In the Arms of God.

Turkish doom/death veterans FORGOTTEN, together with Greek record label Sleaszy Rider SRL, will donate money raised from pre-orders of their upcoming “13 Martyrs” album re-release to AFAD, Turkey’s disaster and emergency management authority. For each pre-order until 10 March, €3 will be donated to AFAD.

UNFELLED Reveal New Song ‘Veil of Perdition’

Pagan black metal project UNFELLED (ft. members of WOODS OF DESOLATION, DRUDKH, AUSTERE) will be releasing its debut full-length, ‘Pall of Endless Perdition,’ on March 10, 2023 via Season of Mist Underground Activists! The band is now sharing a lyric video for the brand new single, “Veil of Perdition,” which can be found HERE.

UNFELLED offers no comment on this song, instead allowing the lyrics to speak on their own.

Emerging Pagan black metal project Unfelled is rising from the underground to release its debut full-length, ‘Pall of Endless Perdition.’ Designed by the same mastermind behind Woods of Desolation, the project serves as a vicious and violent counterpart to its elegant and melodic predecessor, showcasing muti-instrumentalist D.’s impressive musical duality. 

Formed in 2016 as a project of D. (Woods of Desolation, Remete), Unfelled first emerged with the solo demo offering ‘Beneath Distant Skies’ at the end of 2017. Expanding the line-up in 2020, fellow veterans Mitch (Austere, Dearthe) and Vlad (Drudkh, Windswept) were enlisted on vocals and drums respectively, completing the vision for the band.  

Moving forward as a three-piece, the forthcoming full-length sees Unfelled pursuing heavier, more aggressive territory, yet never entirely eschewing the sense of melody and atmosphere established on the debut demo. “Musically weaving together fury and triumph, aggression and melody, the lyrics predominately center on bloodshed, war & death – the threefold cloak beneath which lies eternal darkness,” says Unfelled about the offering. 

Now, upon joining forces with Season of Mist, Unfelled is ready to unleash ‘Pall of Endless Perdition.’ Without question, this record is certain to leave its black mark upon the masses.

ELYSION Premiere New Music Video for First Album Single ‘Crossing Over’

Already overwhelmed with emotions and melodies to share, the unexpected pandemic adds a veil of darkness to everyone’s view of the world today. This could not leave ELYSION untouched either, as it influenced their new album when it comes to symbolism and atmosphere used on the record. Taking a few steps back and contemplating everything, it becomes clear that we are miserably failing as humanity.

March 17, 2023 will see ELYSION release “Bring Out Your Dead” through Massacre Records, their new offering will be available as CD Digipak, a limited LP Vinyl edition and Digital formats. The album title is a metaphor, suggesting that extreme times are requiring extreme measures to get rid of everything rotten inside us and let the healing begin.

Today, the band has shared a video for first single ‘Crossing Over’, as the band reveals: “There was no doubt we’d choose this song to be ELYSION’s very first official video clip ever, as the song represents our distinctive musical identity 100%. “Crossing Over” is a sound statement for our band, one that anyone who has been following us through the years will probably relate to. This song is quite personal too, as it praises the crossover one has to make in order to break away from your personal demons, to prevail over your self-destructive alter ego, and to find hope in life.“

Despite not being considered a concept album, “Bring Out Your Dead” indicates a crossover from darkness towards light; with “light being our better version, our pure nature, one that hasn’t been poisoned by the corruption of mankind“. The ten new album tracks consist of a lot of different compositions, thus letting many different shades of their musical character show. Apart from ELYSION’s distinctive own identity being prominent throughout the songs, it gave them great excitement to experiment with heavier sounds, a more alternative atmosphere and dynamics that led to an evolved sound compared to their previous releases.


As the first single proves, it’s immediate evident thattheir third studio album seems to be ELYSION‘s most mature and well thought of work so far, which has been continuously created with a lot of love and care. “Bring Out Your Dead“ was recorded and mixed by Mark Adrian, and was mastered by Nasos Nomikos at VU Productions. WEEDEATER Announce Winter U.S. Headlining Tour for February + March + April

Cape Fear metal legends WEEDEATER have announced and extensive headlining tour of the U.S. as well as a U.K. headliner for 2023! The first leg of the U.S. trek will feature special guest Rebelmatic and will run from February 22 to March 3. After a very short break, the second trek will kick off on March 16 with special guests High Tone Son of a Bitch (3/16 – 4/02), Telekinitc Yeti (4/04 – 4/06) & Adam Faucett (supports all dates).

Upon the North American tour’s conclusion on April 8, WEEDEATER will then cross the pond for a UK/Ireland tour with special guests Mars Red Sky & Telekinitic Yeti! The run will kick off on April 30

PIER GONELLA Releases New Solo Album “667” on April 24th

Italian guitarist/producer PIER GONELLA – with a long musical activity including Necrodeath, Mastercastle, Vanexa, Odyssea, Labyrinth, etc. – has announced the completion of his second instrumental album. Titled “667”, the album contains 9 tracks and follows the successful debut “Strategy” from 2020.

The line up includes Peso (Necrodeath) on drums and Giulio Belzer on bass.

The release date is April 24, 2023, in CD Digipack and digital format, and will be preceded by the release of a single and a music video on March 20.
