Following the massive wave of anticipation sparked by their recent album announcement and the chaotic first track “Raivotarjonta,” Finnish industrial metal pioneers TURMION KÄTILÖT are doubling down. Today, the band strikes again with ‘Lunastakaa,’ the fiercely energetic second single from their upcoming twelfth studio album, Resodance, arriving globally on October 23, 2026, viaNuclear Blast Records.
Known for blending heavy industrial metal, pulsing electronic music, and wicked dark humor into a genre completely their own, the band continues to push creative boundaries with ‘Lunastakaa.’ The high-octane track arrives with an epic, visually striking music video that reflects the band’s trademark theatrical intensity and unmatched ability to turn extreme metal into a relentless dancefloor party.
Composer of the song, RunQ, comments: “Various demos have usually ended up waiting for the right moment to be released. When I was doing this, I immediately felt that this might not end up on the waiting list, at least not for a very long time 😉 “
Shag-U adds: “I often write songs by looking in the mirror, but with ‘Lunastakaa’, the mirror became a window. The lyrics grew out of news stories about the abuse of power and exploitation, and questions about how deeply a person can be broken and whether there can ever be justice or compensation for what has happened. I love the contrast between the song’s upbeat, energetic feel and the way the lyrics twist that world into something grotesque – that’s one of the things I love most about Turmion Kätilöt. Later, someone also found a more self-ironic interpretation in the lyrics: artists turning themselves into commodities in exchange for money, visibility or approval. That fits this world frighteningly well, too.”
The album comes in following formats:
CD jewelcase
1 LP sleeve red & black marbled vinyl
1 LP sleeve transparent red & black marbled vinyl
Tracklist: Nostajat Kunnioita Pöytäviinaa Ja Pimeitä Naisia Amon-Ra Hallelujah! Näe Minut Lunastakaa Karma Levolle Laske Teloitus Raivotarjonta In Our Dreams (to be continued 1)

Time To Kill Records is proud to announce the signing of WHIPLASH, welcoming one of American thrash metal’s most enduring underground forces to its roster. Led by true underground warrior Tony Portaro, the New Jersey veterans have spent more than four decades keeping the raw spirit of thrash metal alive, inspiring generations of musicians and fans who still believe in the power of riffs, sweat and genuine passion.
The partnership will see WHIPLASH release their new album, “ROAR”, on November 27th, 2026. Recorded at Studio Mozart and Concrete Island Studio, produced by Tony Portaro and mixed by Jamie King Audio, the album delivers ten explosive tracks that capture the raw energy of the band’s live performances while reflecting Portaro‘s continued evolution as a songwriter and musician.
Songs such as “Sonic Asylum”, “Bullet Train” and “Who Stole My Whiskey” hit with full-force precision: this is thrash crafted for the mosh pit, not the algorithm. “ROAR” offers exactly what one should expect from WHIPLASH: real metal built around riffs, songs and attitude, with no interest in unnecessary embellishment or whatever fashionable nonsense happens to be circulating outside the pit.
The album was initially made available in a strictly limited form during WHIPLASH‘s European “Campaign for Musical Destruction Tour” with Napalm Death. A small number of CD promos were distributed independently during the tour under the original title “THRASHQUAKE”.
The album now receives its official worldwide release through Time To Kill Records, with a new title, brand-new artwork by legendary illustrator Ed Repka, and a global campaign befitting its status.
Tony Portaro comments:
“THRASHQUAKE was the original title, and we made a limited number of copies available independently while we were touring earlier this year. As things developed and we started looking at the bigger picture for the worldwide release, ROAR just felt like a stronger title and a better representation of the album as a whole.
Partnering with Time To Kill Records gives us the opportunity to take this record far beyond that initial tour release and give it the international campaign and worldwide distribution it deserves. With the new title, the new Ed Repka artwork and TTK behind the official release, ROAR represents the definitive version of this album and the beginning of its real worldwide campaign.”
For Time To Kill Records, bringing WHIPLASH into the fold is a genuine pleasure: few bands embody the idea of uncompromising underground metal quite like Portaro’s long-running institution.
Tracklist:
1. Thrashquake 2. Bullet Train 3. Can’t Take Back a Bullet 4. Sword Meet Skull 5. Who Stole My Whiskey 6. When the Deadman Calls 7. Red Tape Riot 8. Mother’s Kill Club 9. Sonic Asylum 10. Graveyard of Good and Evil
Current touring lineup:

Formed in Passaic, New Jersey, in 1984, WHIPLASH quickly established themselves as one of the defining forces of the 1980s East Coast thrash metal scene. Led by guitarist and vocalist Tony Portaro, their combination of melodic speed metal, vicious riffs and raw energy produced the cult classic “Power and Pain” (1985), released through Roadrunner’s Road Racer imprint.
Followed by “Ticket to Mayhem” (1987) and “Insult to Injury” (1989), the band’s early records helped establish a distinctive identity within a New York scene dominated by punk and hardcore. After further releases, lineup changes and a period of inactivity, WHIPLASH returned with “Thrashback” (1998) before a long hiatus.
The band re-emerged with “Unborn Again” in 2009, reconnecting with both old-school devotees and a new generation of thrash fans. Through every incarnation, Tony Portaro has remained the band’s constant driving force, preserving the power-trio spirit at the heart of WHIPLASH.
In 2026, that uncompromising approach continues with “ROAR”, the band’s eighth studio album and their new worldwide release through Time To Kill Records.

Game Over has released “Fight For Your Mind”, second single taken from the new album “When Darkness Falls” to be released on September 18 by Scarlet Records.
A high-energy thrash metal attack packed with crushing riffs, infectious hooks, and explosive gang vocals, “Fight For Your Mind” is about a consciousness under siege, caught in a nightmare of manipulation, fear, and psychological control. As reality begins to fracture, the struggle for identity turns into a desperate battle against the mind itself. Aggressive, memorable, and unsettlingly relevant, the track blends old-school Bay Area thrash intensity with a dark modern edge.
“When Darkness Falls”:
Seventh studio album for the unstoppable Italian thrash metal machine gun;
produced, mixed and mastered by Simone Mularoni at Domination Studio (Wind Rose, Twilight Force, Michael Romeo);

Game Over took no prisoners with 2025’s “Face The End”, and just a year later their hunger for frantic wild no-mercy thrash metal is even more ferocious.
“When Darkness Falls” pushes the pedal to the metal on heaviness, without ever sacrificing their signature sound – crushing razor-sharp riffs, hardcore attitude, and anthemic choruses designed to be shouted at the top of your lungs.
The world of Game Over continues to evolve, giving form to a landscape populated by the demons and monsters that lurk in our daily lives, drawing heavily from 80s horror cinema aesthetics mixed with a biting sense of humor.
This is thrash metal the Game Over way: don’t stop for nothing, it’s full speed or nothing!
Game Over are: Danny Schiavina – vocals Luca ʻZeeroʼ Zironi – guitar, backing vocals Leonardo ʻLeoʼ Molinari – bass Anthony ʻVenderʼ Dantone – drums
On August 28, 2026, Talia Hoit reveals “When The Skies Fall”, her second full-length solo album and her most emotionally exposed work yet, along with the third single “Torn.” At the core of the album lies a quiet but profound truth: that beauty is often inseparable from pain, and that every loss carries the echo of something once deeply cherished. The new album weaves together themes of transformation, longing, and existential unrest, capturing the weight of human connection and the moments that reshape us.
Set within a rich symphonic metal soundscape, “When The Skies Fall” invites listeners into a world where certainty dissolves and the familiar begins to break apart. Questions of identity, love, and meaning are confronted head-on, pulled apart, and slowly rebuilt. More than just an album, it becomes a journey through upheaval and growth while it explores what it means to endure, to change, and to find clarity in the aftermath of collapse.
The final single before the album release is the lively “Torn”. Like all songs on the new album, it has been written by Talia herself and perfected with a new musical arrangement by producer Frank Pitters (VISIONS OF ATLANTIS, DEEP SUN, EDENBRIDGE). What’s extra special about this album, is that all tracks on it have been with Talia for a large part of her life before she’s now sharing them with the rest of the world – as in the case of “Torn”, which was created in phases of crisis and reflecting on deep philosophical questions of life, purpose, loss and change. Before the album was recorded together with the same session musicians that performed on the preliminary album “Oceans” (keyboards: Frank Pitters, guitars: Mat Plekhanov, bass: Max Stoner, and drums: Roland Navratil), Talia describes the process of the songs’ evolvement over time as something that came naturally to her, with lyrics and music changing as well as the message of every single track becoming more clear in the process, e.g. while playing them on the piano for herself or even at coffee shops or during creative sessions with musical friends. Ever since the launch of her solo project a few years ago, she has been working with producers to develop the full musical arrangement to evolve and express as many of her songs as possible with a more complete emotional resonance through the music.
That in mind, Talia underlines how “When The Skies Fall” has been given the power to serve as a reflective space for all kinds of life situations: “We tried to produce these songs with as much emotion and expressiveness as possible and a high quality. Mostly I just hope that the listeners will resonate personally somehow with the songs and enjoy listening to them. If I could envision the effect I would want it to have on people, I think I would imagine they are all just normal people living their lives and dealing with all the good things and the hard stuff in life, and then when they listen to the music, it’s a bit of an escape, but not an escape from themselves but rather from the pace of life. In the music, they can stop for a minute to feel and experience something, and make some sort of intangible sense of what they feel, are going through, or have gone through.”
When listening to the final album single “Torn” and its powerful lyrics, it’s not hard to understand, to feel what she means. The track strikes an elegant balance between a spirited sense of optimism and a desire for stability in times of change. With “When The Skies Fall,” Talia masterfully executes her very own program of contrasts as she blends vivid tonal opulence and well-crafted chamber-like intimacy within a consistent metal framework. Talia Hoit, a Colorado native, began her journey in music with classical piano lessons at just five years old – an early foundation that continues to shape her artistry today. She has since evolved into a multifaceted musician, writing her own material, performing as both a singer and keyboardist, and crafting orchestral arrangements within the symphonic metal genre.
Over the years, Talia has built a diverse musical résumé. She spent five years as a keyboardist and songwriter for the band AnaDies and has taken on multiple creative roles as the lead vocalist, orchestrator, and co-writer for the symphonic metal band BEYOND FORGIVENESS, while also contributing as a keyboardist for OB NIXILIS. Talia began with two independently produced home studio albums: “Fate’s Too Small” (2007) and “A Little Longer” (2012). Even if they were recorded just for personal purposes and not publicly available, these laid the groundwork for her first official release that changed the trajectory of her career. In 2019, she recorded the single “Angel” with producer Jarek Musil, which marked the start of her official solo career. The single has since been remastered and marked a turning point, motivating her to put an even stronger focus on her solo work and to professionally produce and release a larger body of her original songs. This led to the release of two additional singles in 2023: “Abandon” and “Whispers in the Storm.” In 2024, she released her first full-length solo album “Oceans”. Talia’s music reflects her deep-rooted classical background as well as her years of experience in the industry, resulting in polished, expressive compositions. Her sound resonates strongly with fans of symphonic metal and heavier genres, drawing inspiration from bands like Within Temptation, Nightwish, Evanescence, and Visions of Atlantis.

The new single, sung exceptionally in Italian, is the third track anticipating the album “Arcade”, set to be released in October via Diotima Records.
A bolt out of the blue for the metal and alternative scene: “Senza Rancore”, the new single by Souls of Diotima, is surprise-released today across all digital stores and streaming platforms.
Released under Diotima Records, the track marks the third stepping stone toward the band’s highly anticipated new album, titled Arcade and set for release this coming October, following the two previous singles “Run Away” and “Revenge”, which marked the first two steps of the group’s shift into Modern Metalcore.
A Sonic Experiment Without a Parachute: “Senza Rancore” is a highly experimental track. Musically, the song combines the sonic impact and aggressiveness of Modern Metalcore with the synthetic, dark, and nostalgic atmospheres of Retro wave.
Adding to the hard-hitting nature of the track is the linguistic choice: it is only the second song in the band’s entire discography to be sung completely in Italian. A precise, visceral decision designed to deliver the message directly and without narrative barriers.
A Magnifying Glass on a Microcosm Bound to Implode: The lyrics of “Senza Rancore” shed light on and analyze, through a lens and without much filtering, certain “peculiarities” of the music industry surrounding the Metal scene, which, according to the band, represents a very specific microcosm bound to implode from within.
“The metal industry has become a closed microcosm, often suffocated by obsolete logic, pretenses, and toxic dynamics,” states the band. “With this song, we wanted to analyze the sector under a magnifying glass, surgically and without filters. There is no hatred, but rather the awareness of a system that, by continuing down this path, will inevitably end up imploding from the inside. We titled it ‘Senza Rancore’ [No Hard Feelings] precisely because it isn’t an impulsive attack, but a lucid and bitter snapshot of reality.”
Towards the Release of Arcade: With this high-impact single, Souls of Diotima raise the bar of expectations even higher for Arcade, promising a mature, eclectic album free of artistic compromises.
