Finnish hippie metal superstars EGOKILLS are back – bigger, badder & more dangerous than ever!
The latest Egokills banger is called Life’s a Party and it is a reminder of what life’s about in these dark times. The song comes with a movie quality music video, directed by the bands long-time friend Timo Lepistö and shot by Anthony Putkonen. The video portrays the band in its natural habitat, partying around their own camper van. Vocalist Janne Selo plays the main part.
Selo has also written the song. The banjo riff at the beginning is played by Egokills’ own guitar virtuoso Niko Viita-aho when the band happened to find a real banjo from Fantom Studio.
“The spring is in the air and I can hear the internal banjos playing. Life’s good!”, Janne Selo comments.
Finnish rockers JUDITH ALICE are set to release their new EP Resolute on March 24th 2023 via Secret Entertainment. The first single & music video Tonite’s Alright (Feat. Diison) is released today.
The band comments: ”When the pandemic hit things got closed up. No gigs, no fun. During these times Judith Alice recorded a new EP entitled ’Resolute’. The first single from the upcoming record – ’Tonite’s Alright (feat. Diison)’ – is basically about the worst hangover you can imagine. FROM ASHES TO NEW havedelivered an intense and captivating new single “Nightmare,” taken from their upcoming as-yet-titled fourth album due this summer via Better Noise Music. “Nightmare”masterfully showcases dual vocalists Matt Brandyberry and Danny Case expertise in contrasting heavy rock anthemic choruses with nu-metal/rap rock verses. ”Nightmare” takes listeners through the emotions of being betrayed and the nightmares that result which are presented in the track’s accompanying apocalyptic-themed music video directed by Josiahx (Distrubed, Miss May I) out now via YouTube HERE or seen streaming below.
“Betrayal by someone we trust happens to the best of us,” says CASE. “We befriend someone, let them in, build a connection and then all of a sudden they turn into someone unrecognizable. Someone you once trusted and cared for so deeply is now a backstabbing enemy. In a heartbeat, the person you once thought you knew is now gone. There aren’t many things in life that cut quite as deep as betrayal. Erasing that person from your life and moving forward is the only way to wake up from the nightmare.”
The Lancaster, PA-based group—Brandyberry (vocals), Case (vocals), Lance Dowdle (guitars) and Mat Madiro (drums)—will be on tour this spring, joining fellow Top 10 active rock-charting acts Shinedown and Three Days Grace across the East Coast and Midwest from April 3 to May 9 before appearing as some of the summer’s largest rock festivals including Welcome To Rockville (5/19 – Daytona Beach, FL) and Sonic Temple (5/27 – Columbus, OH). With the David Bowie documentary “Moonage Daydream” shortlisted as Best Documentary for the 2023 Academy Awards, CLASSLESS ACT, one of the hottest new rock bands to emerge in 2022, pays tribute to Bowie with its upcoming double-A-side digital single, “All The Young Dudes,” and “Starman.” The tracks will be available via all DSPs today, February 3 (Better Noise Music).

“When we learned there was a documentary about the creative, spiritual and musical journey of the great David Bowie, we wanted to pay our tribute, acknowledge his genius, his artistry, his influence and our gratitude to him,” said band vocalist Derek Day. “We’ve always had a few cover songs in our set; in the beginning, it was out of necessity as we didn’t have enough of our own songs. Now it’s our choice. Whether it was Led Zeppelin, The Beatles, Guns N’ Roses, Queen, or many others, they represent a road map of our influences, our roots…and how we’ve gotten ‘here’ musically. David Bowie played a major role.”
There’s a starman waiting in the sky He’d like to come and meet us But he thinks he’d blow our minds There’s a starman waiting in the sky He’s told us not to blow it ‘Cause he knows it’s all worthwhile… —David Bowie, “Starman”
Twenty-twenty-two was a true break-out year for Classless Act. The band – Day, guitarists Dane Pieper and Griffin Tucker, bassist Franco Gravante, and Chuck McKissock on drums – toured the U.S. with Dorothy on her Spring “Gifts From The Holy Ghost” trek, released its debut album, Welcome To The Show, in June, receiving rave press reviews from North America to the U.K. and Europe, South America and Australia, hit the North American road in July on the summer’s biggest tour, The Stadium Tour, opening for Motley Crüe and Def Leppard, split the month of December between supporting Giovannie and The Hired Guns, and their own headline dates on its “The Most Wonderful Tour of the Year,” and wrapped up the year with the release of Welcome To The Acoustic Show EP, that featured stripped-down versions of five songs from their album.
As BraveWords’ Jonathan Smith wrote about Classless Act in his Stadium Tour review, “Led by highly charismatic and off-the-wall frontman Derek Day, who could be best described as a composite of Robert Plant’s high-end brilliance, Roger Daltry’s power, Axl Rose’s grittiness, and David Lee Roth’s stage presence, their comparatively short set, set the air ablaze.”

Los Angeles based rock band, ThemGuns have released their highly anticipated new single ‘Acid Plane’ from Golden RobotRecords. The band, made up of lead vocalist and guitarist Navarone Garibaldi Garcia, keyboardist/drummer Kyle Hamood and bassist Chuck Holiday, are no strangers to the studio and stage having released two previous singles from their upcoming second album, ‘Shot in the Dark‘ and ‘Dark Side.’
‘Acid Plane’ is a song about getting on a flight right before a nuclear disaster with the only survivors being those who were in the skies at the time of the eruption. When they make it to their destination, they arrive at a completely different existence from the one they left. The song was written by Garcia and Hamood.
The band’s charismatic lead singer/guitarist Navarone Garibaldi Garcia and keyboardist/drummer Kyle Hamood had a chemistry for music from an early start. It was circumstance that brought them together after meeting as toddlers at a pool in Hawaii. Twenty years later, at a chance meeting, the two became bandmates and quickly put their mark on their own unique style of music. Bass player Chuck Holiday rounds out the trio now known as “Them Guns.”
The band’s dynamic spirit helps to create their unique sound and with a presence usually reserved for rock and roll royalty. Their lyrical talents are unmatched and go beyond your typical storytelling, Them Guns has created a legion of worldwide fans. Past favorites like ‘Fireworks,’ ‘Horoscope‘and ‘Somebody Called the Cops‘ have had hundreds of thousands of views.
“The lyrics for Acid Plane actually came to me in a dream. I wrote them down and the same night Kyle had an idea for a melody for a new song. Neither one of us knew the other had something new until the next day…that’s when the magic happened.” – Navarone Garibaldi Garcia
Garcia is no stranger to the limelight as the son of Priscilla Presley, but he has forged his own way through his music. With the band’s global, loyal following are energized by the release of their new music. Back in the studio and creating a new music video only precedes plans for a Fall 2023 tour with the band having already performed in U.S., the U.K, South America and Latin America previously.
