LASTBREATH is an hardcore band based in Cagliari, Sardinia, Italy. Formed in 2017 from members of local bands Gold Kids, Stigmalized and Riflesso, the band released their first DIY EP “Thousand Traitors” in June 2019. In October 2020 they returned to the studio to record a split EP with Earthfall – “Values Never Die” – released via UK label Mark My Words Records. After the Covid-19 pandemic, LASTBREATH are now ready to release their first full-length “Vendetta”.
After their previous release “The Sky is the Limit”, Norwegian band STARGAZER entered the radar of connoisseurs of the hard rocking world. The group was loudly hailed as one to watch. They received a lot of great reviews all over the western world and were, back then in late 2019, ready to take on the world for serious touring. But serious touring saw an abrupt end due to Covid-19 for almost every band in 2020-21, with Stargazer being no exception.
The nordic five-piece didn’t lose their spirit and, diligently, took the downtime to start penning their next album. Produced by guitar player William Ernstsen and vocalist Tore André Helgemo, “Life Will Never Be The Same” is the result of those dark times with a silver lining ahead. Engineered by William at Jedimasterstudios, Trondheim, and mixed and mastered in Medley Studios, Copenhagen, by Soren Andersen (Glenn Hughes, Electric Guitars, etc), “Life Will Never Be The Same” is exactly the kind of album that you’d expect from a matured Stargazer and then some.
The five-piece powerhouse hammers on with Scandinavian vibes that consists of virtuosity and a vintage sound with a modern twist. Firing on all cylinders in combination with the sense of good melodies, great riffs, solos and songwriting handcraft. With one of rock’s best voices and one of the best blues-based hard rock guitar players around today. All this on top of a rock steady hard groove with killer rock songs such as “Live My Dream”, or down to the most tender and heartfelt tunes, as for example the single “Live Today”, with emotions worn on their sleeves.
“Life Will Never Be The Same” is the sound of Norwegian classic hard rock flagship, and Stargazer sets sail again with this third release in their discography. One to change their life – and yours – for good.
“Life Will Never Be The Same” will be released on digital, digipack CD and gatefold double LP (black vinyl, limited to 500 units) via Mighty Music on March 3rd, 2023. Pre-orders are available here and here.

From The Vaults is extremely proud to announce the signing of British unsung NWOBHM heroes, TRESPASS. The band, led by guitarist/vocalist Mark Sutcliffe, formed in Suffolk in the late 70s as Track IV, will release its fourth studio album in May 2023. The set of songs, written at Mark’s home studio and recorded at Crooks Hall Studios (all in the wilds of Suffolk), will feature the signature twin guitars of Sutcliffe and Joe Fawcett, alongside the energy provided by new bassist Wil Wilmot and drummer Jason Roberts. The cover artwork will be provided by Mark Wilkinson (Marillion, Iron Maiden, Judas Priest).
“We are very pleased and excited that our new album is to be released on the From The Vaults label”, Mark states. “This is a very special album of songs that are very personal to me, both in subject matter and feel. We wanted to show more facets of the music of Trespass and I am confident, we have achieved that. The current lineup is a joy to be part of and it shows in the music!”.
“I hope very much that loyal Trespass fans, that have followed us since those great days of the NWOBHM, loving songs such as “One Of These Days” and “Stormchild” will find something here among these new songs they can enjoy every bit as much. We can’t wait to share them with you, be it on CD, vinyl or download. And of course live!”, the musician concludes
Trespass was formed in 1979 in Sudbury, Suffolk by Mark Sutcliffe (guitar, vocals) and his brother Paul on drums. The band enjoyed success and critical acclaim as part of the New wave of British Heavy Metal in the early 80s, although it has only released a few singles and an EP – the cult “Bright Lights”, from 1981. Songs such as “One Of These Days”, “Stormchild” and “Bright Lights” have made their mark.
In the 90s, Trespass was back in full action and in 1993 the band finally released their long-awaited debut album “Head”, helping keep the NWOBHM flame alive in a dark decade for traditional metal. The second album, self-titled, surfaced in 2015, and the group didn’t need another decade for a follow-up, with “Footprints In The Rock” being released three years after, with reactions, confirming that Trespass music is still enjoyed by rock and metal fans all over the world. While preparing the next full-length release, Trespass is currently rehearsing a set of classics old and new, for UK and European shows next year.

Italian melodic death metallers CULTØ have launched the new video of “Excrete”. The song is featured on the band’s debut album, “Of the Sun”, out now via Time To Kill Records. Watch the clip HERE.
CULTØ was born from an idea of mastermind Dave, who, in a very short time span, managed to put together a line-up made up of well-known musicians from the Lombardy underground scene (Ghostheart Nebula, Vide, Perfidious, etc.) and record an album of nine songs.
The style of “Of The Sun” comes straight from the Gothenburg sound of the 90s (In Flames, Dark Tranquility, etc.) opening on to more aggressive musical tones. The album is not only a personal interpretation of this music style, but revolves around a message on the awakening of generative consciousness and on the power of artistic expression.
The concept of the lyrics is focused on the awareness of the artist and his creative abilities, through the metaphor of a star that, following a flare, becomes a creator and destroyer god in search of himself and his kind.
CULTØ combine a number of genres and influences, ranging from In Flames to Bloodbath and Septicflesh, filtered through a prism of metallic extremity. The result is fierce melodic death metal, mixing the best of old and new school into their own sound.
Tracklist:
1. Flare 2. Experiment 1 3. Excrete 4. Frost 5. The Desert Of Shadows 6. Void 7. The Ashes Of Annihilation 8. Darkness Leads To Light 9. Fire From Inside
Today ROAR! Rock of Angels proudly announce the signing of a multi-album deal with PRIME CREATION and welcome the band to the label’s roster.
PRIME CREATION is a Swedish metal band that was formed in early 2015 and consists of skilled and experienced musicians, delivering modern hard-driving melodic heavy metal. The band rose from the ashes of the power metal band Morifade and consisted from the start of now ex-members Robin Arnell on lead guitar, Mathias Kamijo on rhythm guitar, Henrik Weimedal on bass guitar and Kim Arnell on drums. Esa Englund (Ex-$ilverdollar, Hellshaker) joined as vocalist soon after.
At the end of 2015 Prime Creation started to record the first songs and a release date was set for the album and after recording, mixing and mastering, the self-titled album was released in Sweden on May 20th 2016 through Silent Wall Productions and Rambo Music and worldwide on April 28th by Danish label Mighty Music. That same year Mathias Kamijo decided to leave the band due to lack of engagement and he felt that he would become a holdback for the band’s progress if he continued. Mathias was soon replaced with Rami Tainamo.
Robin started to write new material after the release and soon the band started to record again. In February 2019, the two singles “Lost in the Shades” and “Tears of Rage” was mixed in Studio Underground, owned and operated by Pelle Saether and then released in April and May respective that year. In June, it was again time to enter Studio Underground to mix the rest of the songs to the sequel “Tears of Rage” with release date September 27th 2019.
In the first half of 2020 Prime Creation was supposed to do one UK tour and one Baltic tour but due to the Covid-19 pandemic, both tours were cancelled and the band instead focused on writing new material for a third album.

Australian extreme metal vegans TO THE GRAVE have unveiled their powerful new single / video ‘Axe of Kindness’, the second taken from their new album, Director’s Cuts, out 24th February, 2023, via Unique Leader Records.
The band comment: “Axe is a tongue-in-cheek horror concept in the vein of The Purge, we had a little fun going ultra-violent on the idea of someone who’s had enough with a world full of apathy and plans to exact vengeance for animals by going door-to-door with a fire axe.”
‘Axe of Kindness’ continues the band’s strong vegan message, watch the video here:

One of Australia’s most uncompromising bands, To The Grave return with their heaviest album to date, both sonically and thematically. Since the release of their 2019 debut album Global Warning, the caustic five piece have garnered international success, with 2021’s follow-up Epilogue, a re-issue of Global Warning with bonus tracks, solidifying their position as “one of the country’s heaviest exports.” (Revolver).
To The Grave have steadily built an audience in the underground, accumulating more than 11 million Spotify streams, racking up over 5.4 million YouTube views, all whilst decimating live audiences alongside Parkway Drive, Polaris, CattleDecapitation, Thy Art Is Murder, Vulvodynia and Alpha Wolf.
Now, following a sold-out national headline tour in 2022 and revitalised by a new lineup, the band are more focused than ever, looking ahead to the release of their second album Director’s Cuts in February 2023.
The eleven tracks lyrically expose a societal and environmental hell on earth whilst pushing the boundaries of accessible extremity, full of barbed hooks, thick with atmosphere and drenched in groove. Razor-sharp guitars played with an exploratory approach – blending everything from whammy pedal squeaks and chiming cleans to death metal chainsaw tones – are entwined with live drums to give a level of dynamism that musically sets this band apart from the extreme metal pack, yet they maintain the weight of the heaviest bands today. Vocalist Dane Evans commands a multifaceted performance, bursting with vocal energy from throat-ripping dissonant screeches to low end gutturals.
At just over 44 minutes in length, Director’s Cuts is an album packed with ambition and conscience. To The Grave have never shied away from channeling the real horrors of animal cruelty and its impact into the violent, emotional intensity of their music. Songs such as ‘Red Dot Sight’, ‘Found Footage’ and ‘Cut Off The Head’ perfectly conjure images of a world gone astray.
Director’s Cuts was recorded by bassist Matt Clarke, with drums recorded live at The Brain Studios in Sydney and mixed and mastered by Lance Prenc at Prenc Audio (Void of Vision, Alpha Wolf,Polaris) in Melbourne with album photography by Animals Uncovered.
The band comment on the new album: “This is the refinement of our combined musical tastes, fuelled by our sadness and anger at the state of the world. We made the music we wanted to make without really considering how it would fit into any little genre boxes, because we knew if we loved it completely then everyone else would too. These songs are hard and heavy without being technical just for the sake of it.”
