ABBA metal pack AMBERIAN DAWN take their chance and follow their passion into a new era of the symphonic metal genre. Combining nostalgic earworms with their dashing trademark sound, the Finnish quintet enchant fans with their cheerful ABBA classics. After the band released their latest singles “Gimme! Gimme! Gimme! (A Man After Midnight)” and “SOS”, the vintage soundscape now reaches a higher level. Taking you straight back to arcades of the past, the third single “Super Trouper” convinces with high energy, skillful drums and deft guitar riffs.

The cover version of the very successful track comes around with an exciting lyric video and is cut from AMBERIAN DAWN’s upcoming covers album, bringing world famous songs by the legendary ABBA to the metal dance floor. The new covers album, Take A Chance – A Metal Tribute to ABBA, will drop this Friday, December 2 via Napalm Records. Follow AMBERIAN DAWN and ABBA’s legacy and dive into the fascinating worlds of two genres combined!

AMBERIAN DAWN on the new single:
“Super Trouper became one of the best-sounding songs on this album. Capri’s voice is just perfect for this one. Mikko Karmila created a very powerful sound with his mixing. All the elements like the vocals parts and the instruments are well balanced.”

Continuing their legacy from the previous album, Looking For You (2020), AMBERIAN DAWN have assembled to introduce ABBA-Metal, proving the band does not shy away from experimenting with genres while still staying true to their metal origins. Earworms combined with characteristic AMBERIAN DAWN elements truly metallicize the ABBA legacy and transform it into a metal experience like never heard before. With skillfully implemented synthesizers creating vintage sounding keys, guitar riffs and vocalist Capri’s angelic voice, the original lines immerse perfectly with rocking instrumentals. Dashing drums ensure a high-paced experience that expresses the band’s identity without losing the catchy ABBA-reminiscent keyboards, renowned lyrics and nostalgic feeling of the original. Including evergreens like “Mamma Mia” and “Super Trouper”, AMBERIAN DAWN enchants with a variety of tracks. Representing a wide array of ABBA songs from high energy to moving metal ballads like “Like An Angel Walking Through My Room”, the band delivers astounding ABBA-Metal to a broad audience. So Take A Chance on AMBERIAN DAWN’s new album and get lost in the glorious new metal world of ABBA.

Tuomas Seppälä on the album:
“This was a ‘must do album’ for me. We had so much fun in 2019 working on our first cover song ever (which was ABBA’s ‘Lay All Your Love On Me’), that it was easy to make a decision to continue with a full ABBA covers album. The songs have been carefully selected, there’s a couple of big hit songs of course, but some of my personal favorites, like ‘The Day Before You Came’, are also included. The recording project was eventually a really big challenge for all of us and needed a lot of work, but we’re all 100% satisfied with the results. This album really sounds like an AMBERIAN DAWN album.”

DESTRÖYER 666 continue to do what they are best at: kicking ass and hammering out heavy metal that is slamming straight into the face. No compromise, no sell out, no bullshit!

DESTRÖYER 666 don’t do whiny nostalgia but simply stick to their old school roots, which are reaching straight down into the golden age of metal while allowing themselves to sound fresh and remain relevant. The band originally started out as a solo project of BESTIAL WARLUST guitarist KK in Australia in 1994. As early as with debut album ‘Unchain the Wolves’ (1997), fast-tracked towards international acclaim. The even stronger second full-length, ‘Phoenix Rising’ (2000) had the Australians relocating to Europe to be able to satisfy the soaring demand for touring and festival shows. After a round of line-up changes, third full length ‘Cold Steel… For an Iron Age’ (2002) cemented the band’s excellent reputation. After a hiatus caused among other issues by disenchantment with the business, DESTRÖYER 666 returned with ‘Defiance’ in 2009 and followed up on this success with the rough and gritty ‘Wildfire’ (2016) seven years later that saw them touring and performing at all the relevant metal festivals worldwide on a regular basis again. The Australians filled the gap between the latest albums with the hard-hitting EP, ‘Call of the Wild’ (2018) that comes with a distinct taste of an unrepentantly classic flavour.

The outlaws from down under deliver another pummelling and relentless lesson in aggression with full length number 6(66). ‘Never Surrender’ is a furious assault of black thrash, chainsaw riffs, and warlike drums, offering no moment of reprisal as it rages on for 40 unyielding minutes.

With this offering, DESTRÖYER 666 takes no prisoners!

REVOLUTION SAINTS Release New Single + Music Video ‘Eagle Flight’, Ft. New Line-up

REVOLUTION SAINTS, the band centered around vocalist/drummer Deen Castronovo, have returned with a new line-up and a new single, ‘Eagle Flight’. Castronovo is joined by new companions, bassist Jeff Pilson and guitarist Joel Hoekstra for Revolution Saints 2.0 and ‘Eagle Flight’ is their brand new musical statement announcing their arrival.

Stream/Download ‘Eagle Flight’ HERE: https://orcd.co/eagleflight

Revolution Saints was initially put together by Serafino Perugino, President and Head of A&R for Frontiers Records, to showcase the stunning voice of Deen Castronovo (Journey, Bad English, Hardline). Castronovo has always been a well respected drummer, but fans who took note of his background vocals over his career and who attended Journey shows and saw him take lead vocals on ‘Mother, Father’ during the band’s set, came to realize he also had an amazing voice. Revolution Saints was, and always has been, a vehicle to show the world Deen’s incredible singing talents.

For the first three Revolution Saints albums, “Revolution Saints”, “Light In The Dark”, and “Rise”, Deen was joined by bassist/vocalist Jack Blades (Night Ranger) and guitarist Doug Aldrich (The Dead Daisies, ex-Whitesnake, DIO). Produced by Alessandro Del Vecchio, those three albums brought back the classic melodic rock style that thrilled and delighted legions of fans in the ‘80s and ‘90s and still does today! Inspiring, uplifting vocals, soaring melodies, and hooks for days is what you get in spades across those three albums.

While Revolution Saints MK I left an indelible mark on the melodic rock world, it was time for MK II to be born. Deen, having recently re-joined Journey, was feeling invigorated and inspired and ready to sing his ass off. Filling Blades and Aldrich’s shoes would be no easy feat, but, mercifully, the exact right guys were found for the job. Joel Hoekstra is a current member of Whitesnake, Trans-Siberian Orchestra, and Iconic, as well as having his own solo project, Joel Hoekstra’s 13 and is an absolutely stunning guitar player, able to play multiple styles. Jeff Pilson, currently a member of Foreigner, Black Swan, and The End Machine, is also known for his time in Dokken and his more recent production work. Two stellar musicians to compliment Deen’s singing and drumming is exactly what was needed for Revolution Saints 2.0 and that’s exactly what we’ve got here.

Fans of Revolution Saints first three releases are going to find much to be delighted with here with the new, rejuvenated Rev Saints and their brand new single, ‘Eagle Flight’!

A new studio album will be released in the first half of 2023.

Line-up:
Deen Castronovo: lead vocals, drums
Joel Hoekstra: guitars
Jeff Pilson: bass

Thousands of years ago, at the direction of Cyrus the Great, Iran became the first cradle of human rights in the world. Yet the nation’s current rulers have the greatest animosity for human rights and freedom. Mass murder and genocide with war weapons by terrorist regime of Iran has been happening inside the country, specifically since late September 2022 after murdering #Mahsa_Amini by the government of Iran. The entire nation (inside and outside of Iran) are raising and protesting to change the current situation now, and after the violent crackdown of protesters by authorities, protest soon changed its nature to A Revolution. Women are leading this movement claiming freedom and their basic rights. Many ordinary people, young students from middle school to university, artists, journalists, athletes and etc. have been arrested and most of them have been sentenced with death penalty. Prisoners including young and minor girls are being raped inside the prison by authorities.

Iranian metal band TARANTIST have been active with their social-political content and music during all these years. The band has release 6 songs since September to support the cause, the movement and their people. Their new song “Revolution” has just been released on all platforms, where the band says “This is not a protest, this is a Revolution”.

TarantisT is producing new songs on a daily/weekly basis to march towards this Revolution with all Iranians seeking freedom and liberty for their country with the main slogan of “Women, Life, Freedom”.

Instagram, TikTok and some other social medias have put limitation and restrictions to TarantisT’s accounts due to posting images and footages of the protest, violence of the Islamic Republic authorities and due to the use of social-political hashtags.

“Revolution”

This is not a friendly reminder
(this is a revolution)
This is not a polite request
(this is a revolution)
This is not a peaceful protest
(this is a revolution)
This is a revolution
(this is a revolution)
Revolution (zan zendegi azadi)
Revolution (woman life freedom)
This is the time to bring you down
This is the time we devour you
You have messed with the wrong generation
We unite together, one nation
We are rising, reaching to the sky
Fighting for the victory until we die
Eye for an eye, blood for blood
You’ll be washed away with this flood (cause)
This is revolution (zan zendegi azadi)
Revolution (woman life freedom)
Revolution (mard mihan abadi)
Revolution (zan zendegi azadi)
Revolution (we will take our home back)
Revolution (mard mihan abadi)
Revolution (we fight for our rights)
Revolution (zan zendegi azadi)
Kidnap, murder, rapping our kids
Torture, prison, and brutality
Elites in jail, killers in the office
Nation is raging to bring back peace
We are rising, reaching to the sky
Fighting for the victory until we die
Eye for an eye, blood for blood
You’ll be washed away with this flood
This is a revolution (zan zendegi azadi)
Revolution (woman life freedom)
Revolution (mard mihan abadi)
Revolution (zan zendegi azadi)
Revolution (we would take our home back)
Revolution (mard mihan abadi)
Revolution (we fight for our rights)
Revolution (woman life freedom)

About TarantisT:

Formed in 2000 by a group of young underground metal heads, TarantisT originated in the basement alternative rock and heavy metal scenes in their native Tehran, Iran. Having to perform secretly but loudly often proved to be difficult, but after sparking a following via word of mouth in the underground, the band soon began to garner international recognition. Within just a few years, international media correspondents inspired by their story (including BBC, SKY, CNN, NPR, Metal Hammer and Kerrang) started visiting Tehran to meet and talk with TarantisT. These news reports and articles aided TarantisT in cultivating a worldwide following – motivating the band to relocate to the United States Los Angeles in 2008.

The band was invited to play several festivals like SXSW, CMJ, Canadian Music Week and Intergalactic Fest. TarantisT quickly added to their touring repertoire, performing on the same stages as Metallica, Motörhead, Stone Temple Pilots, Muse, Cheap Trick, Voivod, Sum 41, My Ruin, Ben Harper and many more.

Following their successful European tour with Evergrey, Swiss-Italian cinematic/progressive metal outfit VIRTUAL SYMMETRY has issued a new official video for “Fantasie Di Verità,” the epic song found on the band’s eponymous fourth album, which was released in September through Sensory Records.

Featuring eight immersive songs, Virtual Symmetry was recorded by the band then mixed and mastered at Domination Studio by Simone Mularoni (DGM, Michael Romeo, Turilli Lione Rhapsody) and completed with artwork and photography by Kyrhian Balmelli.

The new video was directed by Giampiero Zappa. VIRTUAL SYMMETRY vocalist Marco Pastorino writes, “We decided to release the video of ‘Fantasie Di Verità’, one of the most appreciated tracks from our latest album and one of the most requested tracks of the tour with Evergrey. We enjoyed every single day and every single moment of these thirty-four shows all over Europe. We can’t wait to see all of you again next year”

Virtual Symmetry is out now through Sensory Records on CD and digitally at the label webshop HERE and at Bandcamp – the standard version HERE and the 24-bit hi-res version HERE. Also watch the “Come Alive” video, “Butterfly Effect” lyric video, and “The Paradise Of Lies” video at the band’s YouTube page HERE.

VIRTUAL SYMMETRY was founded in 2009 as a solo project of guitarist Valerio Æsir Villa, when the first ideas for the debut album, Message From Eternity, began taking shape. The band’s lineup has since expanded to now include vocalist Marco Pastorino, keyboardist Marco “Mark” Bravi, bassist Alessandro Poppale, and drummer Alfonso Mocerino. Featuring members of Temperance and Fallen Sanctuary, the band is a revelation in the progressive metal universe, stunning their fans and listeners with influences which range from classical music to contemporary metal and a style characterized by epic suites, rich of cinematic elements and balance between melody and technique, leading the listeners through a dynamic and emotional journey in each track.

Between 2018 and 2020, VIRTUAL SYMMETRY composed and produced their third album, Exoverse, which was recorded at Peter Gabriel’s Real World Studios in Bath, UK, and featured special guests including legendary drummer Thomas Lang, a return performance by Dream Theater keyboardist Jordan Rudess, saxophonist Ruben Paganelli, the symphonic orchestra Sinfonietta Consonus, and Evergrey’s Tom S. Englund. Some honorable mentions among their live shows are 2015’s debut live show with Evergrey and Dream Theater, 2017’s live show supporting Deep Purple’s keyboardist Don Airey.

“For VIRTUAL SYMMETRY, they aren’t just a prog metal band, they are their own sound and vision. With audiovisual-like beauty, and probably the brotherhood between the four members of the group, it is an epic paragon that they’ve unleashed for 2022.” – Echoes And Dust

“No aspect is neglected here, whether we are talking about the excellent level of compositions, the flawless execution or the impeccable degree of production, we are really entitled to a neat and professional work. It will certainly be a wonderful discovery for all progressive metal fans and a great introduction for all those who wish to broaden their musical horizons. 9/10” – Profil Prog

“The twenty-minute opening track in particular is an amazing demonstration of the band’s talents, covering the full range from heavy, to soft to somewhere in between, and it allows all of the musician’s plenty of room to shine, along with the vocals. 9/10” – My Global Mind

“Virtual Symmetry is slickly produced, well written, and features top-notch performances. The band is clearly aiming for the same rarified air as the bands mentioned, and they come pretty close across the entire album.” – Heavy Music Headquarters

“I like the restraint the band shows when it comes to the piano and keys. They are just enough to tantalize your senses. I don’t think that I need to mention the vocal prowess of Marco Pastorino, but in case I do, just know that he has one of the best voices out there right now, in any genre. Get this before it burns a hole in the packaging.” – Metal Temple
