This “garage band” from Topeka released their debut album in 1974 after being discovered by Wally Gold, who worked for Don Kirshner, and have gone on to sell more than 30 million albums worldwide.

Composing a catalogue that includes sixteen studio albums and five live albums, KANSAS has produced eight gold albums, three sextuple-Platinum albums (Leftoverture, Point of Know Return, Best of KANSAS), one platinum live album (Two for the Show), one quadruple-Platinum single ‘Carry On Wayward Son,’ and another triple-Platinum single ‘Dust in the Wind.’ KANSAS appeared on the Billboard charts for over 200 weeks throughout the ‘70’s and ‘80’s and played to sold-out arenas and stadiums throughout North America, Europe and Japan. ‘Carry On Wayward Son’ continues to be one of the top five most played songs on classic rock radio, and ‘Dust In the Wind’ has been played on the radio more than three million times!

The summer of 2020 marked the release of The Absence of Presence, KANSAS’s sixteenth studio album, which debuted at #10 on Billboard’s Top Current Albums chart.  The wide-ranging progressive rock album, released by InsideOut Music, follows-up 2016’s The Prelude Implicit, which debuted at #14 on Billboard’s Top 200 Albums chart.

Since the release of their debut album in 2020, rising modern symphonic metal stars AD INFINITUM have stirred up the scene, and are now about to unveil their electrifying third studio album, Chapter III – Downfall, out March 31 via Napalm Records. Consisting of catchy anthems and heavy, modern riffs paired with the vicious vocal melodies of the incredibly talented Melissa Bonny, AD INFINITUM‘s unique sound has garnered them millions of video views to date on hits like “Marching on Versailles” and “Unstoppable”. This next mesmerizing offering provides another wave of proof of their breakout success.

With their powerful first single, “Upside Down“, the multinational band garnered over 250k views on YouTube within just a few days. Now, after returning from several sold out shows on their expanded European and UK tour with Amaranthe, Beyond The Black and Butcher Babies, they have unleashed their next appetizer, “Somewhere Better”.

The new track creates an ethereal, catchy soundscape with screaming guitars colliding with vocalist Melissa Bonny’s haunting, perfectly contrasting voice. Underlining the ballad’s captivating feeling, its video creates a perfect symbiosis both musically and visually, carrying the listener into the new world of AD INFINITUM.

AD INFINITUM on “Somewhere Better“:
“After playing “Somewhere Better” on tour and sharing fantastic and emotional moments with thousands of people all around Europe and the UK, we are thrilled to release this song, together with a video full of memories of our tour with Amaranthe,  Beyond the Black and Butcher Babies. Warm greetings to all the people who will spot themselves in this video!”

Chapter III – Downfall bewitches with an innovative sound full of soaring melodic splendor juxtaposed against brooding, dark and even gothic heaviness. Exploring concepts of Ancient Egyptian history and mythology, AD INFINITUM melds a perfect balance of storytelling and technically sophisticated songwriting, spreading their wings in both areas of production and lyricism. Charging instrumentals, pounding drums, chunky, grooving riffs, mind-boggling solos and enchanting orchestrations build the band’s unique world of sound as frontwoman-to-watch Melissa Bonny’s soul-stirring cleans and haunting growls put her incredible vocal range on display – dropping jaws with each line.

Produced by AD INFINITUM and Jacob Hansen at Hansen Studios, Chapter III – Downfall showcases that this up-and-coming quartet can effortlessly turn the genre upside down, gracing it with contemporary vibes without forgoing their signature metal origins, and thrilling all metal fans as they rise to the top!

AD INFINITUM add:
“The word is out, Chapter III – Downfall is on its way! For this album, we explored stories and legends of Ancient Egypt with, as star character and main inspiration, Cleopatra. We added some extra dimension and sounds to our signature AD INFINITUM sound to create an extra dimension, transporting the listener to mystical landscapes of another era. We are beyond excited to start to unveil this new record!“

Blackburn’s alt-rock quartet THE RUBY TUESDAYS have returned with their second release under the Golden Robot Records umbrella ‘Feel So Good.’

‘Feel So Good‘ is The Tuesdays’ nod to the West Coast grunge movement that swept the 90’s, a detuned rock anthem that’s lyrics hit as hard as its instrumentation. In addition to releasing the track, The Ruby Tuesdays have released a new music video embracing the themes of the song.

‘Feel So Good’ is a youthful rebellion on social normality and the grueling reality of conformation – it sets out to try and dissect the inner conflict of a young person in the UK coming of age into adulthood.

Australian ESTRANGEMENT Premiere New Album “Disfigurementality”

Australian funeral doom metal meets classical music act ESTRANGEMENT will be releasing their debut album,  “Disfigurementality”, on November 25th 2022 via Aesthetic Death.

Today No Clean Singing is hosting an exclusive premiere of the album. Stream it HERE.

Funereal-Flamenca-Nuclear-Jazz-Fusion-End-of-World Music – an eclectic doom metal masterpiece.

Aesthetic Death label manager Stu Gregg states:

“JS is not only a man of infinite wisdom and creativity – but a man of his word. Following the split (with Begrabnis, Weird Truth, 2016) he said he had an album brewing inside, with some great ideas. Following the excellent work on display in ESTRANGEMENT’s demo (2014) and split, it was certainly something that grabbed my interest.

We agreed to work on this together, spat on our palms and shook hands – an oath not to be broken. Years later that agreement comes to fruition.

‘Disfigurementality’
has been a highly anticipated release within the extreme doom scene – with many fans of the genre recognising the potential of this unique band.

The album brings together and melds various styles, with authentic traces of classical music, black metal, jazz fusion and even flamenco – however, at its core, ‘Disfigurementality’ remains a piece of extreme doom excellence.

ESTRANGEMENT
have managed to solidify and expand upon the creativity of previous works, both through composition but also musically through the use of of flute, violin and double bass through the album. The string arrangements range from the soaring and sublime, to the excruciatingly harsh.

Another notable feature of the album is the wide range of vocals – from the extreme doom growls that JS has as a trademark – yet notably the use of howling violent screams, to throat singing, to liturgical chant, all forging different emotions throughout the album.

‘Disfigurementality’
has the melancholic beauty of My Dying Bride, it has the obscure darkness of Unholy – but it has much more to explore. It is an album of beauty, beguilement and darkness. It will lead you on a journey filled with abrupt changes, seductive tangents and crushing heaviness. It demands the attention that should be given to any great album – go with its unique flow and be richly rewarded.

Not only have ESTRANGEMENT created a fantastic full length debut album – they have created an album that will establish them as leaders in the extreme doom genre, and beyond”.
