Voices of Extreme, originally launched in 2004, storms back in 2025 with a fierce new lineup and a brand new album that redefines modern hard rock. Fronted by powerhouse vocalist Don Chaffin (RED LAMB, Ram Jam, former co-managed by Nicko McBrain of Iron Maiden), whose commanding voice has opened for legends like Godsmack, Foreigner, Alice in Chains and Tesla. The band also features bass virtuoso Paul Ranieri, known for his melodic precision and slapping technique, with credits alongside Emmy-winning violinist Mark Wood and prog-fusion outfit Stratospheerius. On drums is the iconic Rod Morgenstein, a multi-time Modern Drummer award winner and founding member of the Dixie Dregs and Winger, whose explosive style has powered tours alongside Rush, Jordan Rudess, and countless others. This powerhouse trio unites decades of rock pedigree into a sound that’s bold, dynamic, and unapologetically Extreme.

TRIERS’ New Stirring, Indie/Alt Rock Single ‘Home’ Out Now

Shropshire’s Triers return with new single “Home”, out now, a towering indie anthem that lays bare the frustration, resilience, and raw humanity of life inside the music industry.

Stream here: https://ditto.fm/home_a30d2f4a

Recently crowned BBC Introducing Artist of the Week (with plays three times a day on Shropshire, Stoke, Hereford & Worcester), Triers have already seen their music echo around Wolves’ Molineux Stadium and catch the attention of tastemakers at BBC Radio 6 Music.
“A mountain of sound rising from the Midlands.” – BBC Introducing

With “Home”, the band sharpen that momentum into something fearless — a candid statement about rejection, self-worth, and the refusal to give up. “Home isn’t about a place,” says frontman Nick Taylor, “It’s about chasing your dream, getting told you’re not good enough, and finding your sense of belonging in spite of that. The lyric ‘put me back on the shelf’ came from how it feels to be part of an industry that celebrates you one minute and forgets you the next. But we’re still here, and this song is our way of saying that’s where we belong — in the noise.”

Listen here: https://music.youtube.com/watch?v=7nJqcaQEwhs

Produced by Gavin Monaghan (Editors, The Twang, Robert Plant) at Magic Garden Studios, “Home” captures the band’s trademark “mountain of sound” — thick layers of guitars, driving rhythms, and vocals that ache with intent. With lines like “Lie to me in routine”, “put me back on the shelf” and “File under shh,” Triers turn their frustration into catharsis — a defiant roar from the underdogs of British indie.

Based between Shropshire and the West Midlands, Triers are a rising indie/alternative force known for their emotionally charged live shows and widescreen sound. Having toured across the UK and progressed to Round 2 of the Artist Breakout Programme, they’ve built a reputation as one of the most compelling grassroots acts in the country. From hometown shows at Albert’s Shed (Shrewsbury/Telford) to stages nationwide, Triers are the sound of unfiltered honesty wrapped in anthemic grit — a band living up to their name.

Triers are:
Nick Taylor – vocals / guitar
CJ Loveitt – guitar
Alex Bachene – drums
CJ Allen – bass / keys / backing vocals

After the release of their debut single reached no. 8 in UK charts, the highest debut single by a Japanese band, SAHAJi now release their much anticipated album ‘Don’t Touch My Soul’, out now on Flip Flop Records.

SAHAJi are an epic Japanese rock’n’roll band poised to make a big mark in the British music industry. Expect big epic soaring choruses with melodies harking back to classic 90’s Britpop bangers with a modern twist. Influenced by Oasis, Tom Petty, The Beatles and Jimi Hendrix amongst others.

The Sahaji brothers have been honing their sound since their early songs were recognised at a YAMAHA Music audition in Japan. This led to various magazine covers and their songs being used in TV ads across Asia. After catching the ear of legendary Britpop producer Nick Brine, SAHAJi signed to Flip Flop Records and have now released their new album ‘Don’t Touch My Soul‘.

SAHAJi are currently on a sold out UK tour with The Skinner Brothers through November, and have just released a collaboration track with REN and the singer from Skinner Brothers. The band have also played sold out shows across Japan including shows at Fender Japan & Tower Records Japan.
