MALEFIC THRONE Stream New Album “The Conquering Darkness”, Out Now

American death metal trio MALEFIC THRONE – guitarist Gene Palubicki (Angelcorpse, Perdition Temple), vocalist & bassist Steve Tucker (Morbid Angel) and drummer John Longstreth (Origin, Hate Eternal, ex-Angelcorpse) – offers the stream of their new studio album, “The Conquering Darkness,” released yesterday on November 28th via Agonia Records.

The trio was put together by Palubicki in 2020, after initially having met at Morrisound in 1997, where both Angelcorpse and Morbid Angel were recording their own albums side to side. “This bands roots can be traced all the way back to the mid 90s when Gene, Steve, and I first met at Morrisound studios,” John Longstreth comments. “It’s an amazing feeling to see those old conversations and hang outs develop into a true celebration of blistering infernal death metal. I have no doubt that this union will be absolutely crushing.” Palubicki stresses out that the music produced by MALEFIC THRONE has the imprint of all three members very present in every moment of the songs. The synthesis of the three members through delivery and writing is what makes band its own special entity, with an an increased dynamic within the form of death metal they generate.

“The Conquering Darkness” was recorded, mixed and mastered at Menegroth The Thousand Caves (Gorguts, Origin, Atheist) with Colin Marston. Drummer John Longstreth hints at the outcome as extremely brutal and infernal nuclear death metal. Its cover artwork was painted by renowned artist Daniele Valeriani (Dark Funeral, Mayhem). Christophe Szpajdel (Emperor, Moonspell) crafted the band’s logo.

  1. Blasphémait Desecration

SCHATTENMANN Unleash Music Video for New Single ‘Schna-na-naps’ from Upcoming Album

German metal force SCHATTENMANN have released a music video for their new single ‘Schna-na-naps’. The track is the third preview of the band’s upcoming studio album “Endgegner”, set for release on March 13, 2026 via PERCEPTION – A Division of Reigning Phoenix Music.

‘Schna-na-naps’ hits fast and hits hard. The song blends tight electronic pulses with heavy guitar work and a hook that flips instantly from playful to explosive. What started as a spontaneous idea turned into a full metal party anthem. Thick riffs, punching beats and a chorus built to ignite crowds form the core of the track. The video boosts that energy even further, and feels like a wild night out packed into a three minute blast.

Stream / Download: https://schattenmann.rpm.link/schnapsPR

Frontman Frank Herzig states:
“Born from a spur of the moment idea, the song sat in a drawer for years as an electro version. When our producer Henning Verlage said we should turn it into a metal track, I first thought he was crazy. That is not Schattenmann, I told myself. But the more we worked on it, the clearer it became. It fits. The song has the same good vibes as Hände hoch and it simply makes you want to go wild. Add the crushing guitars and the thick electronics and you get a mix that is unique. It is pure energy, fun and a full on party.”

With their forthcoming studio offering Endgegner [German for “End Boss”], SCHATTENMANN are taking their sound to the next level: heavier, more aggressive, and unapologetically metal. SCHATTENMANN opens the next chapter of their evolution and sets a bold statement: A band reborn in steel and fire, ready to claim their place in the modern metal scene!

BRUIT ≤ to Reissue Debut Album “Monolith” on January 9th

Posted by tarjavirmakari on November 28, 2025
Posted in: Int. News, News. Tagged: BRUIT ≤. Leave a comment

Acclaimed French post-rock troupe BRUIT ≤ have announced the re-issue of their stunning debut EP, Monolith, to be released 9th January via Pelagic Records.

Pre-order: https://orcd.co/bruit-monolith

BRUIT ≤’s sound is a tectonic collision of raw noise and patient, cinematic structure: layers of metallic percussion, low-end rumbles and fractured melodic fragments that creep, accumulate and then converge. Balancing soaring melancholy and industrial grit with meticulous dynamics, they turn long-form pieces into physical architectures where silence, resonance and sudden force are equally important.

With this reissue of their staggering debut EP Monolith, BRUIT ≤ give us the opportunity to rediscover their first ever release, the completely self-produced and recorded record that defined their direction and introduced their world-shattering sound. Monolith is an epic portrayal at the centre of the human experience, the band’s use of melancholia, industrial textures reimagined through patient dynamics, sculpted resonances, and a singular attention to momentum.

Watch the making of, behind-the-scenes documentary here:

Monolith is the first expression of BRUIT ≤’s exploration of material sound and human scale. Building on the dense palette of integrity and compositional mastery, BRUIT ≤ interrogates what long-form composition can hold: memory, pressure, and a cinematic coalescence. BRUIT ≤‘s sound captures the exorbitant nature of the times, the outrageousness of humanity at a moment in time that is grotesque in scale and overwhelming in scope.

And so, we leave you with an official statement from BRUIT ≤, themselves:

“Life may be elsewhere, at another rhythm, a different scale, and you have forgotten it. Your body hosts a microscopic and elusive world that dies and is reborn every second. It is swarming with particles that will be the cause of your life and your death. It will be your first vertigo. The bloom.

“Then you look to the sky and realise that this inner world floats in a universe in which the human mind cannot comprehend borders and where you are no more significant than a grain of sand. Energy of unimaginable power has been developing for billions of years and it is also responsible for your life and death. It will be your second vertigo and with it you will fall.

“So who are you? Between the infinitely small and the incredibly large. Is your little daily problem still meaningless? Sit down by the vestiges of the monolith erected by your ancestors and take the time to think. Ask new questions rather than repeating old answers.”

BRUIT ≤ are:
Théophile Antolinos – Guitars, Banjo, Tapes, Soundscapes
Clément Libes – Bass, Baritone Guitars, Bass VI, Violin, Viola, Organ, Piano, Modular Synth, Programming
Luc Blanchot – Cello, Programming, Synth
Julien Aoufi – Drums

FUELED BY FEAR Teamed Up with Producer Oscar Nilsson for Crushing New Single ‘Godmade’, Out Today

Zürich’s FUELED BY FEAR raise the stakes with “Godmade” – their darkest and most sophisticated track to date. Produced and mixed by Oscar Nilsson (The Haunted, The Halo Effect) at Studio Bohus in Sweden, the third single from “Ordinary Evil” EP (out January 30th, 2026) showcases the band’s evolution: focused, brutal, and devastatingly precise.

Following September’s “Suffer” and October’s “Edge of Sanity (stream on https://open.spotify.com/intl-de/artist/6trMH3h5QEeV4RkGJUTKkH), “Godmade” marks the midpoint of a five-month release campaign building toward the full EP launch.

“Godmade” is now available on all streaming platforms:

Mauro Galasso (Drums) on Godmade:
“Godmade best encapsulates the entire EP and reflects the status quo of our current artistic creative phase. The song plays to our strengths in a focused way – reduced to what defines us, deploying these strengths exactly where they create the greatest impact. Evolution always requires courage, and sometimes it’s difficult to leave behind things you love. But that’s the only way to create space for something new. Brutality isn’t just created through relentless pummeling, but also through the deliberate generation of emotions.
We’ve given brutality a certain elegance, which provides us with more creative freedom while simultaneously enabling a more stringent and compact narrative. For us, this song marks a turning point – a statement that crystallizes our journey so far and takes a direction that feels absolutely right for all of us. This is our new DNA – and we’re going to push it even further.”

The complete “Ordinary Evil” EP comes out on January 30th, 2026. With their new EP, Fueled By Fear deliver their most mature and uncompromising work to date. The five tracks move between dark groove steamrollers and melodically dense anthems – harder, more powerful, and more forceful than all previous productions.

The band has sharpened their sound: hardness meets groove, tempo meets aggression, while melodic passages merge with modern pressure. The result is songs with enormous chorus quality and real sing along potential – dark, but irresistibly catchy.

BIO:
FUELED BY FEAR from Zurich have been combining the intensity of metalcore with the melodic depth of melodic death metal since 2011. The band manages to merge melodic passages with grooving rhythms into a sound that can both strike brutally and touch emotionally. Support performances for In Flames, Sepultura, and even Pantera underscore their international relevance. Their debut “Two By Eight” reached #5 on the Swedish rock charts and #22 in Switzerland.
Fueled By Fear stands for authentic metal without filters!

MAX AVOIDANCE Releases News Singles ‘Alone’ + ‘Lightyear’, New Music Coming in 2026

Posted by tarjavirmakari on November 28, 2025
Posted in: Int. News, News. Tagged: MAX AVOIDANCE. Leave a comment

Max Avoidance is the electronic pop project of producer Hari Limaye. For many years, Limaye lived a double life: a gifted child who started medical school, whilst moonlighting as a score composer to the high fashion industry, before personal trials led to the whole thing falling apart. Hari has undergone a journey of healing underpinned by resilience. He has since spent years honing his sonic craft, deriving inspiration from adverse lived experience.

Hari comments on ‘Alone’:
“Being alone isn’t the same as being lonely, being centered in oneself isn’t the same as being self-centered.”
“I used to love playing my parents’ record collection – The Cure, Magazine, Cocteau Twins, Joy Division, Siouxsie and the Banshees – I wanted to write something that was a homage to them with a 21st century take on those sounds and out came Alone”

‘Lightyear‘ is a sweeping psychedelic reflection on the growing distance between friends and lovers.
Hari had this to say about the song:
“What if distance was a feeling? It would feel like Lightyear.”
“We are all memories across space and time, and like everything in the universe, we will return to cosmic dust and regenerate in a timeless cycle.”

Both songs were recorded at his family home in Wales on the storm-swept Gower coast and then finished in his home studio in London:
“I was holed up in a house with no heating in the depths of winter with my friend Christian (OC Saint) in the middle of a storm. The fuses for the lights had blown but we still had power. In the shadows of candlelight, the noises swirling and crashing around outside made it feel like the ghosts of iron-age village ancestors were encircling us. I think you can hear some of that in the songs”

His upcoming EP, featuring ‘Alone’, ‘Lightyear’ and ‘Poison’, is the sound of Hari emerging through the turmoil and flourishing from out of the ashes. This project – psychedelic and glitchy, dark and hopeful – is called Max Avoidance.

Composing soundtracks for haute couture campaigns by fashion houses such as Hermes, Calvin Klein and Coach, scoring projects for Kendall Jenner. Producing electronic, rap and gothic music since his early teenage years while compiling a collection of songs worthy of sharing with a wider audience, Max Avoidance is releasing his debut EP in early 2026 – a woozy concoction of atmospheric darkwave, experimental electronic and dream pop.

“’Alone‘ by Max Avoidance (brainchild of London based Hari Limaye), is an ‘80s synthwave homage at its best; one simple, ASCII-punctuated melody and repetitive, dreamlike vocals.” – The Indie Scene

Finnish thrashers Krushor are set to release their debut EP ‘Taste of Hatred’ on January 9th 2026 via Inverse Records. The second single ‘Taste of Hatred’ is unleashed today and it’s available here: https://push.fm/fl/krushor-taste

–Composed by Joni Kärsämä, Juho Mattila, Saku Hirvimäki, Sami Keränen
–Lyrics by Ville Lehtoranta
–Arranged by Krushor
–ISRC: FI3FC2595904

The band comments:
“Taste of hatred is about situation where a person takes a stand for someone who’s pushed ’em down long enough to make that person retaliate. What happens, when beaten and oppressed person decides to stand their ground and says they’ve had enough and gives back all they had to endure. What kind is this persons actual hatred if just a taste of it can turn tables and make the one who made them suffer have taste of their own medicine.”

LISTEN to the first single ‘Shockwave’: https://push.fm/fl/krushor-shockwave

Taste of Hatred Track list:

  1. Shockwave
  2. Vortex
  3. Rise Above
  4. Taste of Hatred

–Composed by Joni Kärsämä, Juho Mattila, Saku Hirvimäki, Sami Keränen
–Lyrics by Ville Lehtoranta
–Arranged by Krushor
–EP cover by Joni Kärsämä

The band found its current identity through shared musical tastes, playing together, and a shared hobby. We are a group of people who enjoy making and playing music that works for all of us. A big part of this is that composing, writing lyrics, and editing songs is open to everyone. All songs and compositions are created by the whole group, not based on one person’s vision or goal.

Our influences definitely come from older metal, but that doesn’t matter, because mixing genres actually adds a lot to our music; there’s no one right way to do things. Krushor’s goal is to make music that sounds good and at the same time talk about the difficult things that are part of life. For many people, music can be therapeutic, and if even one person feels that way about our music, we feel we have succeeded.

Line-up:
Ville Lehtoranta – Vocals
Joni Kärsämä – Guitar
Juho Mattila – Guitar
Sami Keränen – Bass
Saku Hirvimäki – Drums
