Post-Punkers 30 DENARI Sign with My Kingdom Music for Release of Debut Album “Kindly Plotting For Riot”

The evocative Post-Punk creature 30 DENARI is proud to announce their signing with My Kingdom Music for the release of their debut album “Kindly Plotting For Riot”, scheduled for late April 2026 on CD and vinyl, while digital distribution will be handled by Canadian label SODEH Records.

The band stated: “We’re thrilled to have found a natural home in My Kingdom Music for our artistic journey. Francesco’s label has always supported bands with bold visions, capable of pushing the boundaries of genres and musical horizons, working with enthusiasm, passion, and professionalism, always valuing research and experimentation in music.
It’s in this space that we feel we can grow, explore, and seek our identity, uncompromisingly bringing our DARK-CORE to as many people as possible”.

Created by musicians with years of experience in the Industrial Metal (ENSOPH, AWAKE THE SUN, ISHVARA), the Punk-OI-Anarcho-Punk scene (RAPTUS, CVM, ALIENSURFERS, CANI SCIOLTI), the New Wave movement (PERMANENT, P.G.S.L.), 30 DENARI have created a heterogeneous path that converges in a dynamic and multifaceted sonic identity culminating in this new album which represents a Post-Punk manifesto forged in darkness, to dismantle stylistic boundaries.

30 DENARI’s music blends Electro-Industrial with Post-Punk, Dark Wave with Middle Eastern Ethnic nuances. The declared influences are rooted in the foundations of Post-Punk and New Wave (Joy Division, Bauhaus, Killing Joke, Coil, Gary Numan) and into more contemporary visions such as Nine Inch Nails, Editors, and Chelsea Wolfe, but also paying homage to the Italian Punk and Post-Punk scene represented by Negazione, Kina, Franti, Diaframma, Disciplinatha and Limbo / Pankow.
All of this is held together in a constant balance between memory and experimentation.

Expect a visceral journey, almost a hypnotic and sharp ritual, capable of combining mechanical impulses and emotional tension.

SEBASTIAN BACH: “If TRIUMPH & RUSH are going back on tour what is our (SKID ROW) problem?”

Posted by tarjavirmakari on January 11, 2026

Jimmy Kay and Alan Dixon from The Metal Voice recently spoke to Sebastian Bach who will be embarking on US tour in 2026 starting February.

Bach was also asked about his thoughts on the Triumph Reunion tour he said, “I’m happy for Triumph. I think it’s incredible. I’ve always loved Triumph. I bought a ticket  when I was like 10 years old to the Peterborough Memorial Center. I saw the poster of Triumph on the wall at A & A records and tapes in the Peterborough Square and it was the poster of Gil Moore on the drum kit with his hand up in the air and then there was Pyro going off and Rick Emmett was playing his double neck. I thought, I got to go to this show. I couldn’t believe it when Gil Moore came down off the drum throne and started talking to the crowd because I never saw a drummer do that. Moore said, “Hey, Peterborough, what’s going on?” and I was like, “Oh, he’s the drummer. Like, how’s that happening right now?” I thought Rick Emmett was going to be talking to the crowd. No, Gil’s in charge. So, I  love the band. I’ve always loved a band. Well, I was happy to be part of the tribute album, Magic Power. I got to do 24 hours a day and then Rock and Roll Machine.  And when I see Triumph get together (reunite), I’m like, “Hey, Snake and Rachel, what do you think of the Triumph tour? What do you think? What are your opinions on this?  Well, if Triumph is going back on tour and Rush is going back on tour, what is our problem? Like what the heck’s wrong with us? Like it’s just silly. I mean, but I’m not waiting around either at the same time. I got my own band. I got my own albums and I play tons of shows. I’m extremely busy.”

Finnish rock band THE 69 EYES is thrilled to announce that they’ve officially joined BLKIIBLK, the heavy metal imprint of Frontiers Label Group.

Starting a brand new chapter in their career, they proudly unveil a new track, titled “I Survive”, along with an official music video, available below.

The song features American guitarist Steve Stevens, best known as Billy Idol’s guitarist and songwriting collaborator, and for his lead guitar work on the theme to Top Gun (“Top Gun Anthem”), for which he won the Grammy for Best Pop Instrumental Performance in 1987.

The band commented: “Our new single, “I Survive”, written by guitar legend Steve Stevens and Jyrki 69 is The 69 Eyes at our best: simply rocking! The track is mixed by Barry Pointer (Ozzy Osbourne, Mötley Crüe etc) to bring the extra Hollywood magic in”.

Once you’ve survived the 80’s rock scene, you become unstoppable – and The 69 Eyes are living proof. Formed in Helsinki in 1989 and still going strong with the same line-up some four decades later, the Helsinki Vampires have earned their legendary status.

In a world with fewer and fewer true believers in leather jackets, midnight sunglasses and low-slung guitars, The 69 Eyes keep the Johnny Thunders’ flame burning like an endless sleazy club night back in the days.

Their biggest hit, “Lost Boys”, from 2005, was made into an iconic music video by MTV’s Jackass star and skater Bam Margera and the song still remains on annual Halloween rock playlists.

One foot on glam, another one on goth, The 69 Eyes have released thirteen albums, reaching gold and platinum and a mainstream status in their native Finland. They have been touring without any notable breaks all over the world the last twenty years.

Vocals, a lead and a rhythm guitar, a bass and drums are the classic rock band line-up. The 69 Eyes have that magic on stage that is needed for these elements to carry on beyond the rock’n’roll dreams, theirs and their cult following.

Line Up:
Jyrki 69 – vocals
Bazie – guitar, backing vocals
Timo-Timo – guitar
Archzie – bass, backing vocals
Jussi 69 – drums

DIESPNEA Share New Lyric Video ‘Maskharah’ from Upcoming LP

Posted by tarjavirmakari on January 11, 2026

Italian avantgarde black metallers DIESPNEA have unveiled a lyric video for “Maskharah,” the first single from their upcoming second album, “Radici”, due out on February 13th, 2026 via cult Italian label Code666.

The lyric video offers another glimpse into the band’s distinctive approach to black metal, where searing atmospheres and evocative melodies draw on imagined southern landscapes rather than the traditional northern tropes. The track fuses raw aggression with cinematic tension, reflecting the album’s overarching vision of heat, dust and stark beauty.

This release marks another step in DIESPNEA’s exploration of black metal as a deeply atmospheric and narrative-driven art form.

Preorders are now available at this location and on Bandcamp.

Tracklist:

1. Maskharah
2. L’Abbraccio del Serpente
3. Vultures
4. Necromanteion
5. Radici
6. WhaleFall
7. Mescalynia
8. Osedax

DIESPNEA was formed in 2014 as the solo project of Wolke. In 2019, it evolved into a studio collaboration with Anxitudo – a partnership born from a shared devotion to black metal and the desire to create something deeply personal. Their aim has always been to build upon solid black metal foundations while expanding into avant-garde and experimental realms, consistently pushing beyond established boundaries.

In 2020, DIESPNEA released their debut full-length “Pneuma” through Naturmacht Productions, an album rooted in atmospheric black metal tradition. With “Radici” (2026), the duo steps decisively outside any rigid stylistic definition, fully embracing an avant-garde direction influenced by pioneering acts such as Dødheimsgard and Manes.

Lyrically and conceptually, DIESPNEA explore profound themes – existence, human emotion, and the darker recesses of the soul. Though they have yet to bring their vision to the stage, the possibility of live performances remains open.

“Radici” took shape over several years of intermittent work, with some ideas even predating “Pneuma”. Conceived during a period of deep personal transformation, the album reflects a complete reimagining of the band’s compositional and creative process, freeing them from previous frameworks. Its themes are universal: the duality of life and death, the concept of masks, and collective rituals shared by both humans and animals.

The production – recording, mixing, and mastering – was handled entirely by the band, an intentional choice reflecting their pursuit of authenticity and unpredictability. By blending analog recordings with unorthodox digital techniques, DIESPNEA achieved the raw, dynamic tension that defines “Radici”, a work that refuses to compromise.

Line-up:

Wolke – All instruments, vocals
Anxitudo – All instruments, vocals

THE INTEMPERATE SONS Release Cover of Julien-K’s ‘Photo Voltaire’

The Intemperate Sons open 2026 with a powerful cross-genre collaboration, releasing their cover of Julien-K’s “Photo Voltaire”. The track mixes the band’s signature alternative hard-rock foundation with the dark, synth-driven atmosphere of the original, creating a fresh reinterpretation that highlights the strengths of both groups. The release features a special appearance by Julien-K’s Amir Derakh, whose production sensibilities and guitar work have long been central to the band’s influential sound.

The Intemperate Sons release all their music through the Frame|Work record label at the direction of Amir Derakh and Ryan Shuck. All Intemperate Sons’ tracks are mixed by Amir Derakh at Synthicide in Long Beach, CA.

In the sweltering Dallas summer of 2019, before the onset of a global pandemic, The Intemperate Sons were born from blood, grit, and a shared obsession with the ghosts of alternative rock’s golden age. The Watson family—Keith on drums, Jake on guitars, and Max on vocals, guitars, and keys—joined forces with longtime friend and bassist Mark Marks to create a sound that’s equal parts searing riffs, haunting harmonies, and unapologetic soul. Think Alice in Chains’ brooding intensity, Stone Temple Pilots’ swagger, and R.E.M.’s poetic undercurrent, all filtered through a ‘70s rock haze that refuses to play it safe.

This isn’t just a band; it’s a family affair, where the unspoken bond between father and sons fuels every chord and lyric. Keith, a Dallas stage veteran, pens lyrics that cut deep—tales of regret, resilience, and the chaos of the human condition. Jake’s guitar lines, sharp yet soulful, weave narratives of their own, while Max’s voice carries the weight of a 25-year-old who’s lived a lifetime in his head. Mark, the groove-obsessed bassist, ties it all together.

The Intemperate Sons hit the ground running, catching the ear of rock heavyweights Ryan Shuck and Amir Derakh (Orgy, Dead By Sunrise, Julien-K), who signed them to their Frame|Work label in 2021. Even a global pandemic couldn’t derail their momentum—holed up in The Kitchen Recording Studios, they crafted their debut album, The Color Within (2022), with tracks like “Dust to Dust” and “Running Man” that pulse with raw emotion and retro grit. Collaborations with legends like Tony Franklin (Whitesnake, The Firm) on singles like “Running Man” and “Dust to Dust” and Derakh’s production on singles like “Game of Keep Away” and “Dark Day’s Night” featured on their second and highly successful album, Dark Day’s Night (2024) pushed their sound further, blending post-grunge edge with folk and hard rock undercurrents.

For fans of alternative rock, this band is a throwback and a revelation—a reminder of why you fell in love with the genre’s raw honesty and a promise that its spirit still burns. The Intemperate Sons aren’t chasing trends; they’re carving their own path, one riff, one lyric, one night at a time.performing tracks that scratch deep into the backbone of the human experience. There is no shortage of darkness in their writing style which has a retro vibe with many guitar driven tracks stacked on top of a groovy rhythm section. The heavier style fits perfectly with the two and three-part vocal harmonies that are a huge part of their overall sound. It has been said that musicians that are related form unique sounds and communicate on a frequency only they can understand. This frequency has become engrained in their songwriting, arrangements, guitar melodies and vocal harmonies. The band has been compared to Alice in Chains, Stone Temple Pilots, and even R.E.M.

The Intemperate Sons are:
Max Watson (vocals, backing vocals, guitars, keys, bass)
Jake Watson (guitars, bass and backing vocals)
Keith Watson (drums, backing vocals)
Mark Marks (bass)

RATS WILL FEAST to Release New EP “An Evocation” on April 3rd

RATS WILL FEAST will release their new EP, “An Evocation”, on April 3rd 2026 via Time To Kill Records.

The Finnish hardcore unit continues to refine and expand its signature blend of extreme aggression, hallucinatory chaos and melodic depth. Following the destructive intensity of “Hellhole”, the new EP promises a more focused and defined expression of the band’s evolving sound, capturing both the brutality and emotional resonance that have become their hallmark.

The first single will be unleashed in the coming weeks, as RATS WILL FEAST prepares to deliver another potent statement to the international hardcore scene.

Presave: https://ffm.to/rats-will-feast-an-evocation

“An Evocation” celebrates RATS WILL FEAST‘s diverse and imaginative interpretation of modern metallic hardcore. The new EP is the band’s most concise and clear articulation of what the band wants to say, and what it’s aiming for with its sound. The album’s soundscape is dense, diverse, and exudes a wide palette of tones that have accompanied the band for 10 years.

The band explores a variety of expressions on the album, as the violence and volatility of the sound is balanced with an intensely melodic approach. While the first track “First Snow” lulls the listener into a false sense of comfort with its tranquil soundscapes, the album quickly arrives at the band’s characteristic sound of extreme aggression and hallucinatory chaos.

From the blistering beat and frenzied riffage on tracks such as “Smartless” and “Frail Bones”, to the crushing weight of “Observer” and “An Evocation”, the album’s sound is a forceful expression of unrelenting hardcore with unyielding emotion. While the album offers a wide spectrum, it remains focused on the band’s signature sound.

Lyrically, “An Evocation” is a portrait of a mindscape that strives to accept life as it is. Heavy metal bands often imagine various dystopias and fantasy worlds that they sing about. “An Evocation” thirsts for a safe haven in the turmoil of this world and society.

The lyrics seek to portray a person who moves between different levels of acceptance and resentment. It is a snapshot of a process that touches everyone’s life. Between the lines, the lyrics also reflect on the question of what makes you get up on stage again and again, and what makes writing and performing this kind of music important to yourself and others. Playing heavy music is a valve that lets painful and difficult things flow into some kind of beautiful, manageable form.

Tracklist:

1. First Snow
2. Burns Cold
3. Observer
4. Smartless
5. Frail Bones
6. An Evocation

For fans of: Converge, Breach, The Dillinger Escape Plan, Mastodon

RATS WILL FEAST is an experimental hardcore outfit from Jyväskylä, Finland, crafting a musical landscape of extreme aggression, unyielding emotion and hallucinatory chaos. Active in its current form since 2018, the band has built a reputation for intense live performances and innovative sound.

The band’s earlier releases “Scarcity” (LP, 2019), “Songs of a Racehorse” (EP, 2020), and “Malady” (2021) move fluidly between crushing hardcore and noisy psychedelia, occasionally dwelling in more mellow post-rock atmospheres. Their 2024 album “Hellhole” pushed the band’s signature sound to its extremes, delving further into destructive chaos, aggression and desolation.

RATS WILL FEAST’s forthcoming release, “An Evocation” (EP, 2026), continues their evolution, standing as their most focused and defined musical expression and proving that the band shows no signs of slowing down.

Line-up:

Ruben Mustonen – Guitar, vocals
Joona Kyrö – Guitar, vocals
Konsta Kaskismaa – Bass, vocals
Aaron Savolainen – Drums, vocals
