Psychedelic rock icons MONSTER MAGNET are pleased to announce the reissue of two seminal albums in their vast discography on limited edition vinyl – 2004’s Monolithic Baby! and 2007’s 4-Way Diablo – both of which have been out of print and unavailable digitally for years! Pre-orders for both the digital and vinyl editions of both albums are available now, set for release on September 16, 2022.

MONSTER MAGNET mastermind Dave Wyndorf says about the reissues:
“It’s great to see these two albums back in circulation again. The MONSTER MAGNET universe isn’t complete without them! Monolithic Baby! is a big, glitzy (and purposefully cynical, but aren’t they all?) rock and roll record, and listening to it now reminds me of that time – the beginning of the 21st century. Even then I knew things were gonna get weird!

4 Way Diablo is a collection of songs I wrote between tours in the early 2000s but couldn’t find a place for. They piled up fast, and pretty soon, there was an album. It turns out there’s some of my favorite Magnet songs there!”

2004 saw the release of MONSTER MAGNET’s sixth studio album Monolithic Baby!, the follow-up to 2000’s God Says No, which cemented the Red Bank, NJ rockers in the world of space rock and roll. This 14-track journey of masterful hard rock features 11 ripping originals and three cover songs recorded in true classic Magnet style, including covers of The Velvet Underground, David Gilmour and Robert Calvert.

Monolithic Baby! is being reissued on orange vinyl with white and black splatter, as well as in a limited glow in the dark vinyl variant! Don’t miss the album Ultimate Classic Rock calls, “a revitalized, fire-breathing MONSTER MAGNET” and AllMusic calls, “another collection of undeniably Wyndorfian tunes.”

Recorded in four different studios (Sound City Studios, American Studios, The Sunset Lodge and Hydeaway Studios) throughout 2006-2007, 4-Way Diablo is the seventh offering from legendary riff masters MONSTER MAGNET. Featuring rippers such as “Wall of Fire,” “You’re Alive,” and a cover of an obscure Rolling Stones song “2000 Lightyears From Home,” 4-Way Diablo is a true gem in the MONSTER MAGNET catalog.

4-Way Diablo is being reissued on white vinyl with gold and black splatter, as well in a limited, special glow in the dark vinyl variant! Don’t sleep on an album Blabbermouth called, “A mix of MAGNET styles old and new, it still bears the unmistakable stamp of one of stoner rock’s most identifiable and unique voices.”

Considered one of the most creative, diverse, and hard-rocking of contemporary American bands, MONSTER MAGNET is credited with pioneering “stoner rock”. They’re noted for the uniqueness of their sound, their authenticity as a band, their ability to grow musically, and the intelligence and wit of their songs – fusing garage rock, progressive rock, heavy metal, punk and psychedelia. In addition to musical influences, the band has always been inspired by comic book, science fiction, horror movies, and B-movies by filmmakers such as Roger Gorman and Russ Myer.

South African post metal band CONSTELLATIA is now releasing the official music video from “Empyrean,” which is taken from ‘The Language of Limbs.’ The video can be seen at THIS LOCATION.

CONSTELLATIA vocalist and bassist Keenan Oakes explains, “I remember us wanting to write a very basic song, structurally speaking, so it takes on the verse/chorus/verse/chorus/bridge/chorus form; a pop song in essence. Thematically, ‘Empyrean’ is about obsession and ecstasy, about unrelenting passion and being consumed by it all. The bridge is a musical highlight for us as a band so far, one of the special moments from ‘The Language of Limbs.’ It feels good to close the chapter on this first incarnation, and to look ahead to the future and more music!”

In addition, the band will officially reveal information regarding their upcoming new full-length, on August 15, 2022! Set your reminders and stay tuned for more!

‘The Language of Limbs’ was originally released on November 15, 2019 and soon after, the four piece landed a worldwide record deal with Season of Mist. The pressings are available in various formats HERE.

Track List:
1. All Nights Belong to You
2. In Acclamation
3. Empyrean
4. The Garden

Legendary, heavy metallers STRYPER have released their latest single “See No Evil, Hear No Evil” today July 21st off their upcoming album set for release later this year. This single release follows the successful release of first single “Rise To The Call,” on June 24th which has been receiving praise from press and fans alike in the buildup to the groups forthcoming album. This new album release, produced by front man Michael Sweet, firmly continues the trend established over the band’s last few albums, the new music sees the band growing heavier while also maintaining their trademark melodies, virtuoso guitar playing, and air tight rhythms.

When asked about their latest single “See No Evil, Hear No Evil” Stryper frontman Michael Sweet said, “See No Evil, Hear No Evil” was, believe it or not, inspired by the health issues that Oz and I have been faced with. Despite our limitations, we were able to deliver an album that is powerful and relevant and “See No Evil, Hear No Evil” is the perfect track to showcase that. We could not be more excited about this album! The best is yet to come.”

Listen HERE.

When it comes to groundbreaking bands in the metal genre, Stryper is renowned for their distinctive brand of “heavenly metal,” extraordinary crossover success, and venerable endurance. The group ascended to prominence in the 1980s with Billboard Top 40 hits like “Calling on You,” “Honestly,” and “Always There for You” and has maintained a global fan base since. Stryper’s career album sales exceed 10 million worldwide, including 1986’s multi-platinum release To Hell with the Devil. The band also made history when it notched two songs simultaneously on MTV’s Top 10 with videos “Free” and “Honestly.” While Stryper is known for their Christian faith, their decades plus career in heavy metal has made them much more than just a ‘Christian metal’ band. Sure, that is part of who they are, but at the end of the day, they are simply a long-running and well respected heavy metal band with a late-career rebirth that has proved their enduring talent and musical skills are well intact.

Today, some 37+ years after emerging from the southern California nightclub scene, Stryper continues to record, tour and perform for loyal fans around the globe. With three original members including brothers Michael Sweet (lead vocals, guitar) and Robert Sweet (drums), Oz Fox (guitar) and newest bandmate, seasoned bassist Perry Richardson (formerly of Firehouse), the group finds itself creating their finest, most powerful music yet. Stay tuned to Stryper’s socials below for updates on the release of more singles in the build up to their forthcoming album as well as upcoming tour dates from the legendary metal group.

Finnish LAMORI Return with New Single & Video ‘Valley of Great Dismay’

Darker, heavier, grittier… ”Valley of Great Dismay” showcases a whole new side of LAMORI’s unique take on gloomy and dark gothic metal.

The song is a great representation of what to expect from the new heavier side of the upcoming album NEON BLOOD FIRE.

”I absolutely love this one”; says guitarist Marcus Pellas. ”It’s different, but in a good and headbanging way. I think it’s one of the best songs from the album”.

The song, which is the second single of the new album, also features an awesome lyric video to support the release.

Buy/Stream Valley of Great Dismay HERE

LAMORI has been developing their own take on the goth rock genre for over 10 years now. Combining gothic rock and metal with electronics and dark wave to produce their own neon-lit flavor. Founded in 2009 on the Aland Islands of Finland, the constellation has stayed unchanged – however, their sound is ever-evolving.
NEON BLOOD FIRE, the band’s fourth album to be released by Wormholedeath, will refine the soundscapes heard on the 2020 released NEO NOIR, but also introduce completely new elements to the mix. This album will have some of the heaviest LAMORI songs ever heard!

SEETHING AKIRA Release Massive New Single ‘Something In The Water’

Six-piece nu-metal rockers SEETHING AKIRA continue their rampage towards their highly anticipated album NOZOMI with massive new single “Something In The Water.” True to form, the turbulent nu-metal track features thrashing guitars smashed between a blistering rap/rock vocal performance, with provocative lyrics and an explosive guitar solo. “Something In The Water” is about a full-on firestorm of losing control, leading us towards a self-destructive route with no clear view of what the future will hold for us. There is “Something In The Water” and we definitely need to dive in.

“‘Something in the Water‘ is a study into how outsiders can either succeed or attempt to control our hope,” states Seething Akira. “When this protocol commences, the feeling of losing control, like an entity taking over and causing a self-destructive route with no clear view of what the future will now hold for us.”

Explosive. Bombastic. Defiant. Intense. Seething Akira continues to rock on with their gloriously turbulent nu-metal sound towards their next album. Hot off the editorial success of their last album Dysfunctional Wonderland and with recent appearances at the Heavy Music Awards, Tech Fest, The Hammerdown Festival and a recently featured single on the hit Meta Quest VR game Smash Drums with “The Fallen”, Seething Akira is not slowing down any time soon. But the biggest question remains, will we be seeing more of the yellow banana shorts? Catch Seething Akira next at the Ampflied 2022 Festival Sunday, July 31st.

“Something In The Water” is out now from independent multi-genre music label FiXT.

Purchase/Stream: https://found.ee/InTheWater

Seething Akira have developed a gloriously turbulent sound that is uniquely their own. Founded by vocalists Charlie Bowes and Kit Conrad, Seething Akira are a 6-piece electronic nu-core band hailing from the seafront city of Portsmouth, UK that have been tearing venues apart across Europe with their powerful fusion of genres since 2012.

The band’s first full-length album, Sleepy Skeletor, dropped in 2018 and made it clear that Seething Akira would be a force to be reckoned with in the years to come. In late 2020, the band launched a series of new singles leading up to their second album, the highly anticipated Dysfunctional Wonderland. With the strength of the band’s music and their popularity with fans rocketing skyward, they connected with electronic rock label FiXT and forged a partnership for their future releases.

Seething Akira has been featured on the Rock Hard Spotify editorial list, while their single “Firepower” landed on Kerrang Radio and Scuzz. “I Am The Devil” and “The Islander”
were both featured on BBC Introducing, and “The Islander” premiered on Soundsphere Magazine.

At home and on the road, Seething Akira have also put their stamp on staple festivals such as Bloodstock, Victorious, Camden Rocks, and many more while touring with bands like The Qemists and The Algorithm. The band dropped the latest album Dysfunctional Wonderland in late 2021 and are now releasing new singles in mid 2022 in the build up to their new album.

Live Dates:
31st July, Amplified Festival, Rebellion, Manchester
6th August, Hammerdown Festival, The Venue, Worthing
